Ronin | World     A product of his youth the name was simply a way of writing "Ronin the Monkey" in a strange way. Ronin would use the name Monkey D. Ronin as a jokey way of referring to himself as a child. The name stuck, however. Many from outside of Konoha now knew him as Monkey D. Ronin, a name he's kept. He's held the nickname so long that many of those not from Konohagakure have only ever heard this name. appearance HEIGHT: 180cm/70in WEIGHT: 81kg/180lbs          Ronin is considered by many to be a man who simply does not age. Despite pushing 50 he still looks like he did when he was in his 20's. A youthful appearance on his face matching the boisterous smile it regularly wears. Ronin has deep black hair which is spiked and messy all around. He keeps himself well groomed, having no body hair below that line. His eyes are a deep amber color, and he has deeply tanned skin. His whole face has sharp angular features that give him a striking and intimidating appearance at times he's not smiling.      His body is in peak physical condition. While all shinobi's are well built Ronin's build is simply immaculate. Every muscle sculpted as if he was carved out of stone. He wears the scars of countless battles across his skin. He also wears an ear ring in his left ear. A simple golden orb.     Ronin is practically never found out of his classic gi. It is a bright orange outer jacket that would almost look like a tank top were it not so large at the straps. On the chest is the symbol for weight while the back is marked with the prominent symbol of his clan. Underneath the jacket is a deep blue sleeveless shirt. He wears orange pants that match the jacket. He also wears black shinobi boots that come halfway up his calf. He wears two thick, black wristbands.  personality NINDO: A good fight is the right way to a good friend     What more is there to life than a good fight and a family to appreciate it with? Ronin, to his core, a loving person with an unbending desire to grow stronger. While many shinobi fight for creed or country Ronin seems to fight for the sake of getting better. Combat is generally its own reward. Ronin showcases this desire in pretty much every aspect of his life. Most of his time is spent training, eating, and sleeping.      Outside of this great love for combat is a great love for life. He believes that every day is a chance to leave the world a better place than you found it. He is a generally happy man who desires to spread that happiness to others. Even when fighting people he is constantly making jokes and trying to brighten the mood. Especially when he has to go all out. The more stressful combat becomes the more he insists on trying to crack jokes.     The only time he really "gets serious" is when people that he loves are in danger. It is the one time that the smile on his face fades away. A man who truly can strike fear in someone's heart by simply not wearing the smile he otherwise would. A deadly serious attitude whenever he gets angry. It almost looks calming from an outside perspective. HISTORY     Ronin was born within the borders of the land of fire, to a shinobi family, but was not born in Konohagakure itself. At the time of his birth his father was in active duty, stationed to protect the city of Yosai, otherwise known as Bastion. The plan was always to move back to the village in time for Ronin to attend the Ninja Academy as soon as possible. These plans changed when war struck. Bastion was a relatively safe city, and it was there job to defend it, so Ronin was kept in the city through the war. Ronin's formative years where here, in the Second Shinobi World War.      Bastion was made into a checkpoint city in the war, ehich meant that his parents and other shinobi stationed there were always on high alert. Ronin grew up with civilian children as his only friends, as there were no real shinobi children to meet. The odd genin would roll through, but even the youngest of them were far older than Ronin himself. Seeing the war through the eyes of his friends was shaking. It filled Ronin with a deep desire to protect them even from a young age. He also grew up seeing the incredible fighting spirit of his parents, and other shinobi in their unit. That, too, shaped the young man's upbringing.      His parents saw that Ronin had a drive, and they were committed to training him up to become a shinobi like them. Swift like the Leaf | Enhanced Speed    So much muscle packed into a still considerably lean frame, Ronin is a top tier athlete and is spoken of as one of the fastest men alive. He is able to push his body past the limits of what most shinobi are capable of, and thus can reach incredible top speeds rivaled by few and bested by less. Will of Fire | Enhanced Chakra Reserves    Ronin is a proud warrior to his core, and a part of that has been with him since the day he was born. Even as a baby the chakra reserves that Ronin had were notable, and this reserves only grew with age. Ronin has a simply mammoth well of chakra inside of him that is rivaled by few other than Jinchuriki.  Way of the Warrior | Battle IQ    When you spend pretty much your entire life fighting you pick up on the general flow of combat. This is by no means some kind of foreknowledge, but rather Ronin simply understands combat to a great degree. Letting him "predict" an opponents attacks in a sense. He can see how his opponents move and usually predict when they're gonna punch or kick.  Battle Like Gods | Enhanced Endurance    Ronin simply seems to have no concept of quitting. A man who is able to take an incredible amount of punishment and still find the ability to keep going. He is understood as a man who would rather die in battle protecting those he loves then ever stop moving. If his body is still moving he will keep on fighting.  Chōen no Jutsu | Super Monkey Technique    The hidden technique of his clan Ronin has trained extensively in the fusion transformation technique with various monkeys. Doing this technique allows him to transform into a man/monkey hybrid, granting him incredible boosts to his strength in combat and gifting him with a prehensile tail.
