The first round had taken place over so wide an area that it was very difficult to catch on film in a way that was enjoyable for the exams’ spectators. The second round, being centralized on a single mountain, was much easier to arrange: camera were set up along the three mountain paths, relaying a staticky, black-and-white feed back to the various pubs and viewing parties in Akazaya. Each group had its own dedicated watch parties, and the overall atmosphere was joyous and cheerful; people were cheering on their friends, family, and fellow shinobi, as well as placing bets on who they thought was going to make it to the top first. The Pink Blur

Hibana leaned over the flickering screen screaming loudly as soon as she saw Raika. "LETS GO RAIKA WOOOOO!!!!" The can of alcohol in her hand was crushed instantly in her excitement. She was surrounded by a mix of shinobi from different villages so she was sure to keep her right eye covered. As the exam began Hibana did her best to not cause a scene jumping on the table to cheer loudly. She watched Raika run forward at full speed, she had been training with Hibana to make herself faster bringing a grin to the Namikaze's face. Her cheers turned to surprise as Raika jumped into the air attempting to launch off the proctor. "LETS A GO!"

Homare rushes into the spectator room just in time to catch the start of the second round. She'd managed to complete the mission for creating a trading post on an island between Yukigakure and Kirigakure on time to catch the activity for the second round, at least, though she'd completely missed the first round. Thankfully, the Chuunin Exams had provided her with the perfect cover for completing the mission right in the middle of the Land of Lightning's waters without rousing too much activity from Kumogakure themselves. Still, she was a bit shaken up by the interaction with the legendary and exceedingly famous Pink Ghost from Kusagakure. Granted, now she was working for Yukigakure instead, and likely not in any explicitly official capacity, but it was harrowing all the same, for more than one reason.

It had taken Homare a bit of time, even with all six arms working frantically, to get her ready for watching this round of the exams, and she watches on the blurry and fuzzy screen to see the only Kirigakure shinobi she'd had any real interaction with climbing atop a wolf in order to ride across what looked like flowing water over a treacherous mountain path. It looked dangerous, and Homare was internally somewhat happy that she had chosen not to involve herself with the exams this year, since she still didn't feel ready. She wanted more of her clan's jutsu, and maybe a meeting with at least one member of her clan... though she hadn't found any in Kumogakure, either. It was hard to find people that didn't want to be found, even when she was walking around everywhere with all six arms visible. She was one of only a few that wasn't ashamed of being looked at like one of the accursed or some kind of monster.

There was a blonde woman that had obviously already had too much to drink, with how she was screaming out about some "Raika". How embarrassing.

Oriko watches quietly from the background, which is where he normally is on most days anyway. Although most people often regarded him as "cute" (oh, how he despised being called any manner of "cute"), he rarely drew too much attention to himself, which is honestly just how he likes it. Less attention means fewer headaches in the future for him, if he's honest. His bright blue hair might seem like it might be eye-catching, but most people take note of the hair and little else about him, in spite of his odd form of "dress". His biotech at least covered his body, along with the form-fitting fabric that kept his skin from being too overstimulated by outside touch. A lot of his skin was newly growing, after all. Maybe someday he'd be able to walk around without the mask over half of his face and the biotech covering his body, but that was a long way from today.

For now, his yellow eyes focused on the action on the screen as his fellow Amegakure ninja makes his own first move, that simply being to apparently run forwards with little regard for the water on the ground in the first place. His eyebrows furrow as he watches, and it seemed like everyone else had a completely different approach; one was leaping straight over the water, one had gone under it through the earth and made great distance that way, one made a wall that was admittedly somewhat hard to see on the screen meant for viewing this round of the exams. And Ren was merely running forwards and having to slow down a bit as the water made the ground a bit too slippery. He wasn't sure what the village had meant when they told him that he'd do well to learn from the experience of his fellow Amegakure ninja taking part in this exam, but it certainly wasn't this, and he wondered if the younger Akirei was somehow performing better than this.

Shō stood among the crowd, his gaze fixed on the array of screens displaying the intense competition unfolding on the mountain. The atmosphere was buzzling with excitement while Shō was calmly watching from his seat, supporting his sister silently from his heart. It wasn't that he don't like his sister, but as a professional shinobi, he had to take care of his image at all time. In fact, he could barely keep his excitement as it had been a while since he last saw her in action.

As Shō scrutinized the event flyer provided by the organizers, he took note of the diverse group of participants set to challenge his sister, An. Apart from Shizu Amaya, a familiar face from a prior mission, the rest of the competitors were unknown to him. It didn't escape his attention that most of them hailed from Konohagakure, their long-standing adversary.

The name "Hyuuga" stood out prominently among the participants. Though Shō had no personal acquaintance with the fellow contestant, the reputation of their clan was too renowned to be ignored. Their unique abilities, particularly the Byakugan, made them a formidable force. In theory, they could be considered the worst possible matchup for his own clan, given the nature of their respective kekkei genkai. However, lacking any previous interactions with the Hyuuga, Shō couldn't actually conclude that.

As the race began, much to his surprise, the participant he had initially deemed the strongest (Hyuuga) found himself at the tail end of the competition. On the other hand, his sister displayed a remarkable performance, started out quite strong. With a subtle smile playing on his lips, Shō continued to watch the screens, eager to see how the race would unfold and how his sister would navigate the upcoming obstacles. That also reminded him about the tag games they used to play, and he hoped she would use that experience to his advantage.

The chunin exams were a time for celebration and competition and not just between the genin participating. Even those in the audience were competing and the villages themselves saw who had the better genin and what not and it brought a lot of memories for Kyoko to her exams. It only seemed like yesterday she was in the spot where the genin was, but now she was in the stands watching and cheering her fellow Kirigakure shinobi on to victory.[break][break]

She had to admit she was a little late to spectating the exams due to her obligations to Kiri first, but she had made it in time for the second part of the exams and it turns out the girl whom she went on a mission with was still in the exams! Kyoko couldn't help but be proud of the girl for making it this far. So looking to find a seat she found one next to another Kirigakure shinobi and would take a seat. Looking at the light blue hair she felt like he was very familiar to her for some reason either way she would ask, "What seems to be going on and where's An?" Kyoko didn't even know if she was at the right portion of the exams since there were two other viewing stations for this round, but hopefully, she chose the right one.

Shō, not particularly keen on engaging with strangers, couldn't shake the feeling of familiarity as he looked at the Kirigakure kunoichi beside him. Despite his usual reserved nature, something about her triggered and piqued his interest.

Then, as if a puzzle piece clicked into place, he made the connection. "Oh! You're the kunoichi from the Red Keep, aren't you?" Shō blurted out, unintentionally bringing up memories of a mission. The Red Keep, once a stronghold for pirates and thieves, had been a significant nuisance until the Mizukage dispatched a team, including Shō and the kunoichi, to clear them out.

It wasn't exactly a mission filled with fond memories, so Shō quickly redirected the conversation back to Kyoko's original question. "She is... oh, over there." he pointed toward the edge of the screen where a blue-haired girl emerged from the ground. "She was using her kekkei genkai to travel underground, attempting to skip through all the obstacles and gain an edge at the race."

Despite An's best attempt, she couldn't even break to the top three. "Seems like this year is full of talents..." he commented. The competition was incredibly fierce... and was pretty unfavorable to both the Kiri-nin so far. An was currently fourth, while Amaya was dead last.
