"Oh Groovy."  Zakku said watching the first ship move in.  Watching them close in on their boat he pulled out his own pair of kunai and gripped them tightly in his hands.  He was glad he was forced to skip the booze.  Fighting drunk wasn't his best way of fighting.  Especially since he existed in a constant state of being high.  "I'll join in dealing with the interlopers."  Zakku said casually as he started walking towards the pirates landing on the ship.

As sailors rushed past him Zakku summoned a pair of his clones.  "We'll get these guys and make our way onto their ship."  He told the others as he picked up the pace to join Yuushi in the fight.  "Good Luck!"  Zakkus clones ran ahead of him and jumped into the air disappearing into their hair as it over took their bodies.  Spinning as they hit the deck the clones would slam their armored hair into any pirates that got in their way as they tried to back up the sailors.

The Original would use his natural talent for speed and his raiton to  zip between the spinning Scythes and grab weapons Yuushi had knocked free and throw them overboard or further away not stopping to avoid breaking Yuushis momentum as he backed up his teammate.  "You know those are pretty cool."

Jutsu used: Hari Jizō - [Needle Jizō]
A swift set of seals are formed as chakra is poured into the user's hair, inspiring growth and thickening of each individual fiber. The fibers continue hardening and sharpening until reaching a level of mimicking steel needles, creating a chain-mail-like defense of dense hair. Often times, the user will surround his or herself with the hair as a spike-covered mound so dense that weapons break upon striking it. If the user wishes, the hair can reach outward with its spines, aiming to thoroughly pierce and maim opponents with its stone-splitting spikes.

Forging from the Group up "Uh oh..." Pirate attack It seemed as though the peace of their mission was once again interrupted by the sudden arrival of unmarked ships. With the sailors quickly attempting to try and move them out of harms way, it appeared the wind was no on their side, and soon enough, the ships were upon them. With them, joined four dozen attackers in the form of pirates. In truth, they seemed no different than bandits and raiders, only certainly much more vibrant as they appeared eagers to quickly rush on board. As everyone began to take their positions, Ayukawa would bare her teeth as she pushed herself upright upon the side of the ship, kicking one approaching man from climbing aboard as she balanced herself along the railing in working to halt their advance. Yet as more and more continued, the others appeared to work toward doing the same as she managed to note Kazuyuki dealing with the ranged attacks happening from the ship on the west. Though with two ships against their one, it was easily them at the disadvantage despite their expertise. Plus, it was hard to compete with her more experienced companions who seemed to unleash attacks that more than dwarfed her own. Still, she didn't count herself out of being supportive. Especially as an idea came to mind to help even the odds. "I have an idea! Be right back!" In kneeing one of the pirates in the chest, she'd jump overboard as she moved beneath the ship and along the waves. With the sight of wooden bullets flying overhead, the young shinobi would swiftly move across the water, her body propelling herself forward as she moved to the other ship that was attacking at range. With the cover of darkness at her side, and her own instincts prompting an almost animal like glow to her eyes, she'd quickly come upon the ship's hull, drawing out a explosive tag as she began to scale it's side while planting the tag against it's lower base. Upon rapidly rising up it's surface, she'd see the archers as she began to attack, moving between their likely surprised ranks by dodging and twisting out of range of their attacks, moving beneath their attacks as she approached the opposite side. "Sorry! Excuse me! Sorry! Really sorry! Oops! Woah! Really sorry!" After swaying away from the last attack, she'd begin her descend from the opposite side of the ship, holding a tag between her fingers as she waved toward them before planting it upon it's surface as she stuck her tongue at them before jumping overboard once more. "Bye!" After her landing upon the water once more, she'd click her teeth together as she activated the explosives that had been placed, allowing the hull of the craft to take the damage that would blow a hole on both sides, soon racing back to the other ship as she tilted her head to the side. "So thats how ships work...huh...who knew?"

A slightly more advanced version of the Tree Climbing Skill, this technique allows a shinobi to walk on water as if it were a solid surface. What makes this so difficult is a very precise amount of chakra ust be applied, as balance is harder to maintain on a not so tangible and even moving surface.

DESCRIPTION:
Sokudo is a method of using chakra passively to reinforce the body's physical capabilities. Such things are movement-based rather than just brute strength would. It gives the user's muscle stimulation, allowing increased hand movement, wrist, arms, and even the legs. This can be used to just have everything work more proficiently. Though, after being used for more than seven posts, the user's muscles will be sore as if they just did an extensive workout. IF continued to be used, eleven posts will begin to break down muscle. Intense pain followed, forced technique shut down.

DESCRIPTION:
Utilizing chakra in the feet, ankles and legs specifically. It is a small amount of energy, but used precisely on reflexes and timing. This technique is gauged this way. When timed, the user can twist themselves abruptly out of the way of an attack. Like a speedy side-step, but a rotation of one's body to the side. A spin-move. This is only attacks in an immediate vicinity(three meters) anything else is too big an attack. Usually Taijutsu, but sometimes this technique is effective against close-range ninjutsu.

Lion's Sleep
Hunter instincts and experience on the hunt have granted Ayukawa insight into the minds of the prey she encounters. Animalistic encounters have allowed her to track and be capable of following those that she intends to target, at times giving her brief, but small insight into their intentions. While not fully developed, they have improved over her continued use and natural development, allowing her instincts to be heighten to a point where she isn't caught off-guard when activated or in an intense moment that requires a reaction. It also allows for her to at times get inside of the heads of her target, mostly due to their movements and their patterns once discovered. It is a skill that is constantly growing, though has yet to reach it's full potential.

In the Jungle
To survive in the desert, one must be able to keep up with not just the prey, but also to outrun the wild predators as well. Ayukawa training and life in the wilderness and vast landscape has prepared her for such events. Her genetics in relation to the Saeko Clan have given her an edge in physical combat, along with making her much more agile. Living out in the desert has also made her incredibly durable due to the intense environment surrounding her, along with possessing a high amount of physical stamina.

Law of the Jungle
The law of the jungle states that the strongest survive and the weak perish. In further effort to increase upon such a principle, Ayukawa has further increased her strength by the usage of training weights. Her constant runs, strikes, and combat acts have more impactful strides due to their instrumental usage. As such, while not yet strong enough to break boulders without applying chakra, she has improved the impact strength of her strikes to the point that she can fracture bones with more ease, much like the bite of a lion.

Nine of the eighteen on the ship forced into one group by Zakku's clones, at the front of the ship.

Four attacking Yuushi, throwing spears then dashing in with swords as he dodges or defends.

Two others near Yuushi disarmed by Zakku.

Second ship had its' hull exploded, but a Suiton user inside is preventing it from sinking.

A Tsuki no Kuni Missing-nin steps out from one of the holes on that ship, and is attacking Ayukawa with Kagetsume [Shadow Talon] to prevent her from returning to the ship.

POST

Clanging metal rang out through the night as the sailors engaged the boarding party. The men were not great fighters on their own, and seemed clearly outmatched - they paired up two against one, but there were already as many mercenaries as sailors, leaving nearly ten for the Shinobi to deal with alone.

Three headed for Kazuyuki, only to be locked in place by the paralysis tag, struggling to move. In the meantime, his wood bullets shot out across the water. Ayukawa sprinted along the surface underneath, arriving against the hull as the stakes clattered off the hull and railing. The archers had abandoned their volley, hunkering down and avoiding much in the way of injury. A loud voice called out from the inside of the ship, and they stood and prepared another attempt.

Four of the mercenaries surrounded Yuushi in a semi-circle, inching forward. They leapt backwards at the rush, but the spinning blades struck the spear of one of them and shattered the haft. He threw the broken end and the top at Yuushi like darts, and with a bark, one of the four tossed up his own and used it as a much more effective javelin, aimed at Yuushi's center of mass. The other two rushed in after, swinging their swords horizontally, before the other two drew their own swords and ran in as well.

Two more who'd had their weapons knocked from their hands by Yuushi's attacks found their armaments tossed overboard as Zakku zipped through the action. His clones headed over to the help the sailors, who were grateful for the help. Pulling attention from them, the mercenaries were slammed backwards and forced to clump up into a group to guard each other's backs, leaving the nine of them in a circle towards the bow.

The archers aboard the other ship were once more interrupted by the appearance of Ayukawa, who'd set a tag on one side of the vessel, before flipping over and setting another on the other side. The boat rocked violently as the archers were thrown to ground covering their ears, explosions punching holes in both sides of the ship.

Yet it did not sink - water soon pulled up out of the sea and swirled over the holes, chunks of woods flying off and splashing into the ocean. As though it were a door, a tall and lithe woman bearing a white spear stepped through and walked out onto the water. "- keep it like that," she said to someone inside before looking over to Ayukawa as she twirled her spear.

The woman's spear glowed white with chakra, scattering light over the waves between the three ships that served almost like a mobile arena. Her clothes, all black, were bathed in white; a Shinobi headband hanging from her waist glinted - a slashed moon. "Well, well," she said. "no smiths. Figured they wouldn't bother going to that extent."

A compatriot of the three who were assailing another group of the mission on the other side of the continent. She gripped her spear with both hands. "Client won't mind a Suna-nin captive or two, even if they're little more than children." The missing-nin crouched.

Like a comet she shot across the water, practically carried by her glowing white spear, seeking to either skewer Ayukawa through or else prevent her from returning to the allied ship.

"Hell yeah!"  One of the clones called out as the pair revealed themselves from their cocoon of hair having pushed some of the pirates back.  The same clone would place his fingers to his lips and let out a sharp whistle letting the original know it was time for the next step.  "This is gonna be sweat dude!"  The other clone called out as the pair pulled out smoke bombs from their packs.

The original would shoot a look at the clone as he heard the whistle.  "Be right back Yuushi!"  He called out as he shot back over towards his clones.  The pair of clones waited until Zakku got close enough and threw the smoke bombs obscuring the three from the pirates.  The pair of clones weaved their hand signs and jumped into the smoke.  The original following shortly behind finishing his handsigns and reaching into his pack.  

From the smoke emerged a group of scantly clad ladies.  "Onii-Chan!  Sempai!"  They cried as they rushed the pirates.  The women would scream as if they were being chased by a scary beast all to distract and confuse so the original could get his attack ready.  As the original emerged from the smoke the women would disappear in puffs of smoke.  "Don't hunt what you can't kill Dudes."  Zakku threw the raiton charged nails at the pirates feet digging them into the wood.  "Roaming Chaos."  He completed the last sign and the raiton charged nails would erupt with lightning.

Jutsu used: Hāremu no Jutsu [Harem Technique]
The next level for an experienced user of the Sexy Jutsu. It requires at least 2-10 (more depending on their reserves) Shadow Clones made and them each using the original jutsu, but massively mixing up the possibilities and combinations. They can take on endless combinations, enough to suit pretty much anyone, regardless of gender.

Rōmingukaosu [Roaming Chaos]
Weaving the necessary Hand Signs (Tiger, Ox, Monkey, Serpent) Zakku grabs his chakra reactive nails and infuses his chakra with them. After being planted or thrown they become mines infused with Chakra (up to six are thrown in one rotation). At any moment as long as Zakku is within 75 meters he can detonate his nails with a single hand seal (Tiger). The chakra is explosively released in a 15 yard radius from each nail. The effects of the explosion can leave victims with burns and paralyzed.

Forging from the Group up "Huh?!" Ayu had been prepared to make her way back to the others, considering she had somewhat debunked the unknown question of just what prompted a ship to remain afloat. But as a new scent took center stage in her mind, her gaze shifted back to the large vessel, eyes widening upon seeing the patches of water that seemed to block one of the holes that she'd created, soon revealing a woman approaching from within it as they instructed another inside to keep things as they were. "OF COURSE! LITTLE MEN KEEP THE SHIP FROM SINKING!" Pointing toward it in awe, she'd manage to recover from her shock in hearing the woman clearly indicate her intentions to her. The weapon she wielded glowed like a star, creating light within the darkness and revealing just how many ships there were out there, and around them. While it certainly would take a lot of effort to deal with them, Ayukawa would try and keep her attention on the opponent before her, prompting her to release a breath as she allowed herself to relax into her stance. Extending the flat of her puppet appendage outward, she'd keep her other arm tucked in close to her side. Demise "እኔ በጣም ቀላል አይደለሁም ..." (I'm not so easy prey...) Narrowing her eyes, her purple gaze would shift upon noting the swift movement of the female shinobi as she launched herself rapidly in her direction, leaning forward into her attack as she took in a breath and then released a cry as her lifeless wrist shifted into a different position along with her body. Time seemed to move slowly as she allowed herself to relax, taking into the motion of the water, the near silence of the Missing-nin's launch, the smell coming from her as she dashed across the water. It was difficult at first, with the speed in which she moved was seamless, but her odor gave her away, and she was close enough that Ayu could pick up on it. This was all the opening she needed, and the time she required to counter. As she seemed to be more drifted to the side, the puppet arm would swing down low, swiping upward as to knock the weapon off it's course of collision, prompting her other hand to extend itself forward to strike outward while the woman was off balance. If she managed to connect her strike, the young female would move in with a rapid assault of punches, crossing one after the other to keep the momentum in her favor as she attempted to trip the woman up and force her into the defensive. The strikes would be near precision, aiming for openings as she moved with both the flat of her palm and the harder impact force of her puppet arm to deliver her blows. If she could keep this woman engaged long enough, perhaps she could find a way to move back toward the ship and deal with the means in which they were keeping it afloat.

DESCRIPTION:
Unlike many Martial Arts, Wing Chun never really uses an open and straight stance. Rather, they are almost always place at an angle to an opponent (nose-to-ear), allowing them the advantage in positioning. This allows them to face the opponent and attack but limits the opponent's ability to attack due to the angle. This stance is the foundation of Wing Chun and is ingrained into the practitioner's body. In order to truly master the martial art, they must root themselves into this stance and maintain it with accompanying footwork. The arms in this stance has one arm outstretched and one arm kept close to the chest so as to both attack and defend.

DESCRIPTION:
Rhythm, pacing, and tempo are important and vital elements to Wing Chun. An attack is never singular, always part of a chain and sequence of movements incorporating both attack and defense. In order to manage these sequences, Wing Chun practitioners fight according to a beat, thereby pulling enemies into their pace while preventing them from getting accustomed to it by changing and fluctuating the tempo. Wing Chun beats tend to follow three main beats [1,2], [1,2,3], and [1,2,3,4]. These beats can be sequenced in any order to create a flurry of consecutive unending strikes. It is almost impossible to interrupt the flow of Wing Chun practitioner as the art is made to be both active and reactive simultaneously.




NAME: 加速度 | Kasokudo [Acceleration]

CLASSIFICATION: Taijutsu
DESCRIPTION:
Wing Chun is not a strength driven Martial Art, though that is not to say it can't be used by one with strength. It is just not the central or focusing point of the art. Rather, it focuses on instantaneous and rapid acceleration, which ends up achieving the same results. Practitioners are taught to relax their body and keep their limbs at rest so that they can, at any moment, accelerate.

This allows them to deliver remarkably strong blows without wasting unnecessary stamina on maintaining high speeds or utilizing a lot of power. In many ways, Wing Chun is the difference between a sniper and a bazooka. While a Bazooka might have more firepower, a sniper is trained and focused on each shot.

To visualize this, Wing Chun is capable of punching straight through a boulder leaving only an arm/fist sized hole rather than causing the entire boulder to be destroyed. The focused aspect of the art allows them to be more precise in their blows. Higher leveled practitioners can coat their hands and fists in chakra to avoid damaging them and increase their durability.

DESCRIPTION:
While many Martial Arts attempt to take an opponent's blows directly, Wing Chun does not. Wing Chun focuses on the use of Torque to use the opponent's force against them. As such, though Wing Chun uses many straights, the straights are almost always applied perpendicular to the radial direction of the opponent's limbs, causing their force to be used against them as their limbs are twisted or misdirected. In fact, most Wing Chun strikes follow this principle as the Martial Art is focused on using the enemy's body against them, causing them to bend to submission.

[Nakahara Yuushi]

I know right! The boy was quite pleased at the praise given to his scythes, he was quite proud of them after all. Two spring cherry blossoms, pink metal petals glimmering in the sun, though one of those petals was long and crooked. And able to cut through flesh like the spring warmth tore through the winter cold. While his cousin Ichi had a strong identification with the Autumn months and their calm beauty, Yuushi was a child of spring. When the leaves bloomed, the snow thaws, new mantids hatch from their eggs. Beauty, wonder, and life that's what spring meant to him. That's what his scythes meant to him, even if they were meant for the reaping of lives instead of the birth of new ones.

And the pair would work in as much sync as Yuushi's dual blades, the young, green haired man successfully disarming quite a few with his attack. And one of those weapons included the spear of one of these professional looking pirates, whose shattered form would be thrown at the older teen in a rage. And the bug loving boy simply continued to spin his scythes as he'd been, attempting to shatter the broken stick even more. And he'd do the same to the actual spear thrown at him as well, making full use of the fact he had two weapons to use to defend himself. Then, as the rest of the group fighting him started to draw their weapons and come closer, his blue haired fighting partner actually started retreating saying he'd be right back.

Oh. Umm...Ok...Sure, yeah. This is fine. I definitely got this. The older teen definitely seemed a bit taken aback, especially since he'd left just as the group around him started their own attack, surrounding him while attacking in unison. Not a bad strategy for a bunch of pirates. But Yuushi wasn't going to simply let himself get overrun, and with a small pep talk he'd switch grips from using the chains to now gripping the staff of his scythes. And he'd swing quickly in a circular motion to catch all their blades as the pirates attacked, and create the image of two crescent moons coming together in his slashes. Then he'd follow through, not just protecting his vulnerable to stabbing bits, but going on the offensive as he'd try and tear through the four attackers. He still wasn't trying to slaughter them, and would try and cut shallow enough to not kill them, but he wasn't playing defense anymore. He would reave through flesh, and tear through all four of them, only trying to avoid killing them outright now.

-Yuushi might have been born in Autumn, but he identifies with Spring~ Also very proud of his scythes, and loves the compliment and appreciates it
-Teamwork makes the dream work as they disarm some the pirates
-Yuushi counters both the broken stick and the unbroken spear with Shadow Landscape, continuing to spin both scythes by their chains so he can block both
-Switches stances as he grips the staff when the attacks go from ranged to melee, trying to catch the sword attacks with Three Days Moon Beheading
-Follows through on swing, trying to rip through all four pirates. He's still trying to avoid killing them, but he has no problem cutting down every single one of them until they're no longer a problem

DESCRIPTION:
The user holds their scythe out in front of them and spins it rapidly. This allows the user to repel incoming projectile weapons with great ease as well as keep away physical attackers or close range weapons.

NAME: Kumo-Ryu Mikazukigiri - [Cloud-Style Three days' Moon Beheading]

CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu

DESCRIPTION:
The user swings their sword in a single, large, crescent moon-shaped arc, which occurs with such ferocious velocity that the technique can be employed in situations where only a very limited time to react is available. The swing can be used to counter attacks from multiple opponents simultaneously.

[Senju Kazuyuki]

As Kazuyuki’s volley sailed across the water, he was only slightly disappointed to see none of the archers fall to it. The technique was low ranking, more for distraction than damage, and he wasn’t too bothered. As long as it prevented them from actually firing their arrows. Kazuyuki would be fine, he could turn to any solid he was touching, but his teammates were far more vulnerable to arrows than he. Seeing Ayukawa heading across to the other boat, he planned to shoot another round of wood bullets, but was interrupted by the sound of three pirates getting snared in his seal.

Pulling a Kunai from his sleeve rather than his tessen, the young man didn’t hesitate- leaving the pirates alive could be a liability, so he aimed a slash for each pirate’s throat, aiming to take them out of commission permanently. That done, he took stock of his teammates. From what he could tell, Yuushi looked fine, and so did Zakku. Ayukawa, though, was facing off against… a shinobi? Taking note of the headband and the gleaming white clothes, the young man’s grimaced but made his choice. The pirates seemed like ordinary, albeit skilled, bandits. The missing nin, however, was far more of a threat.

Over the hull of the ship Kazuyuki went, landing on the water and using water walking to start running towards the ship Ayukawa was on himself. As he moved, he prepped the handseals for wood bullets once more, sending another volley in the direction of the archers to hopefully prevent him from being shot down with arrows on sight. If he made it to the ship, he’d aim not for the missing nin that was coming for Ayukawa, but the archers, pulling out his fans to hopefully prevent them from targeting the lone woman on their team as she fought the missing nin. Three bodies collapsed onto the deck as Kazuyuki hopped over the railing and landed on the surface of the water, buoyed on the wave left in the wake of the missing-nin rocketing across the seas. The spear had narrowly missed, but even with Ayukawa's agility and the near-foresight her senses allowed her, the point came viciously close to ripping through her until the last moment. Though Ayukawa was the fastest of the four of the Chuunin, this woman was much faster still.

The puppet arm knocked the spear up and out the woman's hands with surprising ease, launching it up overhead where it continued to glow white as it spun. The Suna-nin's attacks pushed her opponent back and away, though the missing-nin dodged each skillfully. Wearing a smug grin, she sidestepped and evaded as the pair progressed across the clearing. Kazuyuki had crossed the water, avoiding their high-speed clash as he launched a volley of wooden spikes that shadowed the water as they shot up at the archers who'd been ready to launch a volley down onto Ayukawa.

The men scattered as they loosed their arrows, missing their mark and flying off towards the other ships, or splashing into the water, as they sought cover and ducked down. A number of them were impaled by the wood and collapsed, the rest scattering to the edges like roaches as Kazuyuki flipped up on board and transformed into wood. A yell called out from below decks, and the men quickly gathered themselves up and drew to shoot a volley at the young man.

The deck of the allied ship exploded with lightning that dispersed the lingering smoke aboard it, the enemies fried and electrified by Zakku's attack. The lot of them collapsed into a pile, struggling to stand finding themselves paralyzed. The sailors closed in, taking care of the rest with ease.

Like crescent moons, Yuushi's scythes cut through the air and either destroy or flung away the weapons of the four he was facing, before another rotation saw their chests sliced into the. The men yelped out and stumbled back, unarmed and wounded - they immediately made for the railing and attempted to jump across to their ship, and the half dozen men who remained there. With the sailors taking care of those that that had been defeated on their ship, Yuushi and Zakku were free to either aid Ayukawa against the woman below, or Kazuyuki with the archers and whoever was inside that ship, or deal with the other ship.

Below, the missing-nin had expertly dodged Ayukawa's blows as they whished into air despite her skill in Taijutsu. Suddenly she stepped in, allowing a glancing blow to strike her in the ribs as she pressed herself up to Ayukawa and tried to hook an arm around her neck, while with the other she formed a one-handed seal that glowed the same white as the spear had, before clutching it into a fist as she grinned. The spear, which had remained behind them and overhead, spinning, now rapidly shot down at Ayukawa's back to strike her with the blunt end.

But just before it would've struck her, Ayukawa found what was in front of her was the spear, and behind, the missing-nin rocketing down with the same momentum the spear had had, to smash a kick into her back that would send her flying into the hull of the allied ship if it landed.

[Senju Kazuyuki]

Kazuyuki couldn’t help it- he smirked as he saw the archers scatter. Some ducked and escaped his wood bullets, but many were impaled and down for the count. With his fans out and his assimilate technique active, he wasn’t overly concerned with the men and women, even if the drain on his chakra that the technique had cost to cast was definitely being felt right now. Not bothering with pleasantries, he laughed when he noticed the arrows aiming at him. As if they’d do anything to a man made of wood! ”You can’t actually be stupid enough to think that’ll work, right?” he taunted, before lunging at the nearest group to him with his fans ready to deal some damage.

He was sneaky with his attempted blows, looking at one place but aiming for another. With luck, he’d be able to take down multiple enemies this way, before they would be able to effectively react to the man in their midst. All of his strikes were intended to incapacitate, but any opponents he considered a serious threat had a good bit more force out into each hit he made with his fans. The fans were heavy and made of metal, and would absolutely do some damage if the blows connected.

His technique changed for each opponent, as well. One man received a harsh blow to the wrist for his efforts, while other people in the group would have shots taken at the backs of their necks. If he really felt to need to, he wasn’t even above kneeing his male opponents in the balls, which was sure to hurt. Getting slammed into by a heavy wooden knee in a sensitive area was definitely not something that was supposed to feel good, and was likely to be at least temporarily debilitating if hit.

There was beauty in his swings, though the pirates wouldn't really be able to appreciate it as the pink blades created two pink crescent moons that ripped through weapon and flesh. Cherry blossoms jutting out the back of the scythes, as if carried on the breeze as they fluttered by the moon the green haired boy had made. Like a perfect spring night. And then all four of the pirates jumped overboard as the boy let out a breath. There. Easy. I knew I had that. And as he patted himself on the back for his success, the fleeing pirates crewmates would be zapped unconscious by his blue haired teammate. A pretty good reason to pull back he had to admit. And then they were descended upon, like wolves surrounding downed prey the sailors would surround the pirates. The older teen wasn't looking at that however, instead passively watching the fleeing ship, not showing much interest in giving chase to the wounded to finish them.

Though it wasn't exactly a shared sentiment, the boy seeing even more casualties in the mission as he turned to the other ship, watching pirate archers drop and Ayukawa stuck in a fight with a lone pirate. She's fighting alone...That's not great... He was surprised that one of the pirates was even capable of doing that, standing up to the tanned girl, and that fact wiped away any judgment he might have on Kazuyuki's harsh treatment of the weaker pirates around him. Yuushi wasn't the kind to stand by while people were in trouble, doubly so with friends. But, that was exactly what he'd have to do. And he'd have to steal potential reinforcements as well, watching Zakku to stop him if he moved forward to help his fellow villager. I hate to ask, but can you stay back here with me for a moment? I need someone to watch my back. It won't take too long.

And if the Zakku did stay with him, he'd see the young man do the same thing he had when fishing. Take a sitting stance, a breath, and shut out the world.

The green haired teen could feel it in the back of his head, that gnawing feeling. That he should just rush to aid Ayukawa without doing this. But he shouldn't think about that, he should think about his next breath.

Would Zakku hate him for this if Ayu got injured? Would Ayu? Things he could worry about after the next breath.

It was too late to stop now. All he could do was continue what he was doing, because unlike when he'd been doing it ceremonially when fishing, now he really was gathering Nature Energy. Preparing to enter Sage Mode. Soon after this.

Zakku let out a huff watching the sailors finish off the pirates.  "You're welcome."  He told no one in particular reaching into his pack to grab another kunai.  Ayukawa was still out on her own and might need back up.  He could go but what would she learn from that experience?

Just as he began to take a step towards his fellow Suna shinobi he stopped and looked at Yuushi as he was asked to provide him with cover.  Zakku smiled.  "You got it dude."  Spinning a pair of Kunai he resummoned his clones.  Clicking his tongue he motioned to the edge of the boat and his first clone jumped onto the railing.  While he was too far to do much he could prepare and do what he does best.  Plot and prepare.

Zakkus second clone stood opposite the original on the other side of Yusshi.    Clicking his tongue twice more he'd let out a sharp whistle signalling the other clone.  The pair began to run around Yuushi slowly picking up speed.  Acting as a barrier around Yuushi Zakku and his clone would continue gaining speed as the third clone gauged the distance between them and the Fight on the water.  "Wind resistance minimum...don't forget water tension and the waves."  He raised a hand and made a finger gun locking onto the fight before moving his finger over the to the other boat.  "Adjust for a curve."  Using his other hand he mimicked an object curving.  "Got it."

[Saeko Ayukawa]

Forging from the Group up "No way!" Ayukawa continued her assault against the female shinobi before her, only to see her moves being expertly dodged and avoided with the ease of a veteran master. She had seen few capable of such a feat, and for a long time at that, though this was enough to leave her completely dumbfounded at the prospect. Yet, as she managed one hit in the woman moving in, it was soon followed by a swift grappling of her arm around her neck, prompting her motion to stop as she struggled with the grip against her. Straining to free herself, she glance upward to see the motion made by the missing nin, seeming to prompt an action that was drawing something to them. As she had only moments to see just what it was, her frame would feel the sudden push against her, followed by the swift reminder of the weapon as it struck at her with the back of it's flat end. In that moment, she had mere seconds to reaction as her hand reached wildly to the naked eye, yet it was clearly grabbing at what seemed like an invisible foe. Though this reaction would be hard to tell before the shinobi would be striking down at her and sending the tan female spiraling across the water and into the hull of the ship, slamming into it's surface as she groaned from the impact. Moment Music Eyes closed, she'd bare her teeth before slipping down to the water, her body rising upward as she then held a grin on her face. "WOAH!! THAT WAS AWESOME!! You're amazing! I didn't even see that attack...well..kinda...I mean...hard not to notice this..." In saying this, she'd wave what looked to be the spear within her puppet hand, her grin getting bigger as she rubbed the back of her neck with her free hand. "Though it was a lot harder to swipe it with it being so high up! Now we can fight for real right!?" Giggling, she'd slam the edge of the weapon into the hull as she began to bounce up and down as she loosed her muscles and limbs, building her chakra within her bounding motion before stopping short as she took an offensive stance as she flashed a bigger grin. "Lets do this!" In that, she'd rocket forward, her hands shifting their position within their increased speed format as she crossed the distance to reach her target as she began to strike forward, her frame active as she lashed outward in a continuation fluid of movement with the intention of weakening the woman's resolve and creating an opening for her to strike and take her out. Though so caught up in her own fight, one that she was enjoying greatly, that she was unaware of the actions happening around her with her focus being on the missing nin before her and the challenge of fighting someone who was just as willing to go hand to hand as she was.

Another drawback is the strength aspect, a wallet everyone can snatch. A two-ton weight. Nope, not unless you have the required strength and skill to even carry it.

Sokudo is a method of using chakra passively to reinforce the body's physical capabilities. Such things are movement-based rather than just brute strength would. It gives the user's muscle stimulation, allowing increased hand movement, wrist, arms, and even the legs. This can be used to just have everything work more proficiently. Though, after being used for more than seven posts, the user's muscles will be sore as if they just did an extensive workout. IF continued to be used, eleven posts will begin to break down muscle. Intense pain followed, forced technique shut down.

Lion's Sleep
Hunter instincts and experience on the hunt have granted Ayukawa insight into the minds of the prey she encounters. Animalistic encounters have allowed her to track and be capable of following those that she intends to target, at times giving her brief, but small insight into their intentions. While not fully developed, they have improved over her continued use and natural development, allowing her instincts to be heighten to a point where she isn't caught off-guard when activated or in an intense moment that requires a reaction. It also allows for her to at times get inside of the heads of her target, mostly due to their movements and their patterns once discovered. It is a skill that is constantly growing, though has yet to reach it's full potential.

In the Jungle
To survive in the desert, one must be able to keep up with not just the prey, but also to outrun the wild predators as well. Ayukawa training and life in the wilderness and vast landscape has prepared her for such events. Her genetics in relation to the Saeko Clan have given her an edge in physical combat, along with making her much more agile. Living out in the desert has also made her incredibly durable due to the intense environment surrounding her, along with possessing a high amount of physical stamina.

Law of the Jungle
The law of the jungle states that the strongest survive and the weak perish. In further effort to increase upon such a principle, Ayukawa has further increased her strength by the usage of training weights. Her constant runs, strikes, and combat acts have more impactful strides due to their instrumental usage. As such, while not yet strong enough to break boulders without applying chakra, she has improved the impact strength of her strikes to the point that she can fracture bones with more ease, much like the bite of a lion.

Jounin missing-nin (badly injured by Ayukawa, thanks to Zakku's kunai) using an extremely high-ranked attack to pin Ayukawa to the surface of the water, so she can skewer her through with a thrust that, even if dodged, could destroy the allied ship.

Special Jounin missing-nin (inside the sinking ship) plunges Kazuyuki down into the hull, creating a whirlwind to pin him to the bottom in an attempt to drown him.

POST

The battle continued on the sea, Ayukawa and the Jounin below - the latter gaining the upper hand against the lone Chuunin - as Kazuyuki worked through the archers who were decidedly not up to snuff or prepared to fight a Shinobi with such a defensive advantage. Surely, they began to fall.

The missing-nin glanced up to the ship as Ayukawa was sent rocketing into the side of the allied vessel with a loud thud. With a grin, she yelled out "Abandon the ship!" which seemed to prompt panic from the archers left who were facing Kazuyuki - some even leaped overboard. The ship lurched, tilting forward - the water that'd been acting to patch the hull had receded.

Suddenly, dozens of snake-like water tendrils erupted through the deck and hooked around, digging back in and - with a colossal groaning noise - shattered the deck, dropping the now-weighty Konoha-nin and his opponents down into the half-flooded deck of the ship with a watery crash, rapidly filling with sea water.

The man who'd been preventing the sinking stood now, already knee-deep in water, wearing the same outfit and hefting a similar spear. Younger - a Special Jounin, her apprentice - he regarded Kazuyuki with a dour look and, clutching spear under arm, rushed out five handseals. Water poured through the holes in the hull, forming into a giant whirlpool centered around the Konoha-nin, aiming to pin him to the bottom of the ship with immense force as it continued to sink, his prior enemies swirling violently around him.

The Jounin smirked as Ayukawa began to bounce upon her spear - as soon she launched herself off, the spear dislodged itself and zoomed over to her hand even faster than Ayukawa, barely, as if called to its' master. Preparing to skewer the rapidly approaching Chuunin, she took a stance and pointed the tip at her - only for a kunai to enter her vision at the last moment, and reflexively, she knocked it away with the spearhead.

But the distraction had bought enough time - Ayukawa's attack found its' target in her side, boring a hole through skin and muscle and ribs, but not deep enough to strike vital organs, the missing-nin darting away in a flash with a body flicker. Clutching her side, she groaned from across the way, a trail of blood left behind on the surface of the water.

The third ship began to pull away to the north, leaving only the allied ship and the one that was sinking in close proximity. The Jounin grunted, teeth clenched, before she somehow 'stuck' her spear into the surface of water. With her free hand, she weaved a series of seals and the surface of the water between the ships began to glow white in a large circle, like the moon.

Once more grabbing her spear, now with both hands, as blood poured freely from her side and tinted the moon, and her spear, a shade of pinkish-red, she assumed a pose to drive forward, the spear whirling with chakra. With a ragged breath, she closed her eyes as both she and Ayukawa began to glow white as though silhouetted. The Suna-nin would find her feet heavy, as though nearly stuck to the white-moon surface of the water by glue - making escaping the lightning-fast thrust that was coming very difficult. And even should she dodge, the force of the attack might destroy their own ship's hull.

[Nakahara Yuushi]

He didn't really know what was happening anymore, the world had gone quiet. All he knew was what he'd known before he started his meditation, that Zakku was with him while the others were fighting. Not the most courageous of moves by the older teen.

A breath

But he couldn't pretend he wasn't vulnerable. He couldn't move, couldn't shout, couldn't stop a pirate from stabbing him in the back. All he could do was think. And breath.

A breath

Though, there was one more thing he could do. Feel. And it was beautiful, feeling the life and the sea around him, just as much as when he'd been watching the ocean as the sun had set across the horizon. The natural energy of the briney depths brimming with life, with natural energy that he harnessed into his body. This was why he loved spring, it was the season of life, and as a Sage he'd learned something. Life was beautiful. It was another reason he didn't like taking it. Yet as much as he disliked it, death was a part of nature, and these powers made him especially connected to nature.

And suddenly it was time.

A clap

Just like before his clap was fast yet flat, not really flashy or attention grabbing outside of its unenthusiastic sounding smack. But this time, the change would be immediate and noticeable, as the now forest green eyed boy was in sage mode. There were a few differences, the easiest to notice being that his pupils were no longer visible, instead forest green colored his irises completely. And whenever the boy talked there were gentle clicks in his voice, and if one cared to look they'd see his canine teeth were longer and curved, tapping against each other like mandibles. But he wasn't here to show off the changes, and now that he could look he'd check on how his teammates were going. And it wasn't looking great, the enemy ship was in bad shape and they were still on it. Which meant it was time to stop sitting around and instead to be bold. Thanks for waiting. I'm ready now.



He was running towards the enemy boat now, sticking to stealth and shadows to mask his approach as he went to the opposite side of the boat. Though he'd soon realize this sneaky approach wasn't entirely necessary as the archers weren't shooting at them. Instead, they were in the water he'd notice, and for good reason, the enemy boat was sinking. Did Kazuyaki do this? He was unsure, one of the drawbacks of meditating instead of watching the ongoing fight. Actually, he wasn't sure where the long haired man was, though that quickly stopped being his biggest concern as he saw something more concerning. Ayukawa, still fighting, and in the path of an attack by that spear. And he acted.

He didn't run across the water to the enemy ship, instead he leaped into action, literally as he gave a huge leap to land on the hull, and hopefully catching the woman off guard. But even if she wasn't, his actions were the same, as he'd blitz her suddenly, moving at extreme speeds scythes in hand. Yet it'd be hard to tell just what he did with those scythes for most, as the spped he could now throw attacks had reached new heights while he was in sage mode. For those unable to keep track of his attacks, it'd look like his scythes had simply gone from his side to crossed out in front of him after rushing the woman, as if a magic trick. Those who were able to keep track would see that he'd made a huge horizontal slash at the womans arm, trying to cut off her sword hand entirely, not holding back like he had with this woman's subordinates. No more holding back his punches, instead the predator instincts of being the mantis sage, an apex predator in the bug world took over. Which is why he wasn't done.

After his attack he'd continue moving, trying to get behind her whether he managed to cut off her arm or not before twirling and folding his arm, where a large construct of a mantid claw would shoot out at the same speed he'd swung his scythes. And if it managed to catch the woman he'd squeeze as hard as he could, the claw capable of shattering concrete and more than capable of shattering most peoples spine if they couldn't stop it from crushing them. But there was one more thing, the coup de gras as Yuushi would appear in front of the woman one last time, making the same swing that he'd made when attempting to cut off her arm. Only this time Yuushi tried to position the woman with his attacks, to move her to here this attack wouldn't be cutting at her arm, but at her throat. A mantis made it's kill by biting the neck of its prey after all.

DESCRIPTION:
After Imbuing their feet with Senjutsu Chakra the user is able to increase the power in their legs in order to jump to great heights, depending on the amount of chakra the user is able to jump the height of a bijuu or large summon, but after 3 uses the users legs will be heavily damaged and walking will become much more difficult.

DESCRIPTION:
Using their great speed, the user rushes forward to close the gap between themself and the target. They will make one incredibly fast slash with their scythe immediately before moving out of the way. Right behind them will be an after image, performing the same move the user did. However the after image's slash will be weaker as it is made up of a single air current created from the speed and slashing of the user and scythe.

The woods being the only real place Yuushi could escape too when young and sick means that he does have some experience hiding in them, when he didn't want to be found, didn't want go back hospital. And his Stealth abilities have only gotten better since becoming Sage. Watching the Mantis's disappear into the forest, and noticing how they lack a scent, he uses their teachings and his clan knowledge of plants to mask his scent even when downwind, making him very difficult to find by traditional means.

SAGE MODE:
Sennin Modo-Perfect Sage
Yuushi is a prodigy when it comes to senjutsu, there's no other word for it. His progress has been phenomenal, and constantly bearing results, and it's allowed him to reach the pinnacle of sagehood. But it has been well earned, spending an entire year doing nothing but practicing and living with the mantises at first, to escape his fate of an early death. And the practice after was constant, seeking new heights, always remembering of the illness that plagued and the sacred chakra that cured him. To the point he can be considered a Perfect Sage, able to gain 40 pts for every 1/One round of Still Meditation, with his threat cap being 130 and his stone cap being 400.

While in Sage Mode, Yuushi does take on some somewhat unsettling qualities, especially since they're bug like qualities as he's the mantis sage. His eyes go from forest green to bright, shining green, and his pupils all but disappear. His canine teeth get longer as well, both pairs curving closer together and giving the uneasy appearance of mandibles when the top and bottom clink together, though they don't peek out from his mouth now as they used too thankfully. Lastly, his arms get thinner, his already oversized sleeves now draping over his hands.

Active Ability: Predator (4pt Drain)

Yuushi is very used to being perfectly still, needing to do so to even enter sage mode. And so when doing so in Sage Mode, it only makes sense he also reaps some benefits. When standing still, he can become virtually undetectable by Chakra sensory, his Nature Energy Chakra acting as a camouflage as it masks his chakra signature. Even dojutsu users will have a very hard time finding him, his Nature Chakra acting like interference and him impossible to pinpoint.

Passive Ability: Don't Blink (1pt Drain)

When in Sage Mode Yuushi is able to move very fast. Not in movement speed, but in his attack speed. He's able to go from a relaxed position to finishing up an attack faster than most people can process that he's even attacked in the first place, let alone try and defend themselves.

Passive Ability: Never Again (1pt Drain)

Yuushi's one goal, perhaps more than any other, is to never get sick again. And thankfully for him, bugs have a very different circulatory system than most. This means that he's able to heavily resist things like poison, disease, and anything else that might impair him of that nature.

Active Ability: Snatch (4pt Drain)

Imitating how a mantis grabs it's prey, when Yuushi folds his arm inwards he can create a chakra extension of a mantis claw, doubling his reach length and able to fold it inwards to trap people in its now vice grip capable of crushing concrete. However it can also be broken out of, whether by so much strength that he can't hold it shut or just breaking his chakra claws.

"Oh that's not good..."  The clone said watching the tendrils of water tear into the other ship.  Kazuyuki was still in there.  Crap.  "Hey uh...Yuushi.  No rush or anything but things are getting fu-"  A Clap.  The clone stared in fascination at how Yuushi had changed.  The original and other clone stopped spinning and stared at Yuushi.  "No problem.  If you needed a wardrobe change you could have said so."  He moved out of the other shinobis way to let him pass.  He had Ayukawas problem handled.  He hoped.

Fastest in Sunagakure
The three Zakkus jumped onto the railing of the ship.  "We only get one shot at this.  Let's give Kazu a hand."  Letting the Raiton flow into their legs the Zakkus braced themselves before shooting off with three soft thumps.  The original taking the lead as the other two followed him around glowing water towards the sinking ship and whirlpool.  Running along the outside the trio would spot Kazu and the other shinobi.  The original Zakku would began spinning his hand over his head.

The clones nodded in affirmation as they made their handsigns.  Their hair grew long once more as the original began to run away from the whirlpool.  "One shot no pressure.  None whatsoever."  The clones Jumped into the whirlpool letting their hair grab onto the ship and launch them into the sinking interior.  "Heya Dudes!"  The first clone grabbed onto the mast and used his hair to grab onto the seconds hair.  "I got you!"  Flinging the clone he'd extend his hair for Kazu to grab onto and fling him up out of the whirlpool and into the originals grasp as he continued circling the whirlpool.

The second clone extended all four tendrils and let out a war cry as he was thrown straight at the shinobi determined to rip him to shred under water.

Jutsu used: Wild Lion's Mane Technique

Chakra poured into the user's hair will extend violently, reaching out like many dense tendrils of fibers. The hair, becoming hard and tough like steel, aims to ensnare and bind targets within thirty meters, their sharpened tips boring into their bodies as it seemingly stitches them while knotting around them. This works well to halt the movements of even massive beasts, not to mention halt several dozen shinboi at once. These tendrils are capable of shaping their ends into what appears to be a lion's mouth, filled with a maw filled with razor sharp iron-rending teeth. Hungry for blood, the beastly endings to these binding tendrils work to finish off whatever prey the user may have caught. With the amount of hair created on average, shinobi are typically able toe create up to twelve individual massed tendrils of hair.
