Although Oriko was also exhausted, he still felt a bit of fear when his own sensei suggests that he might attack him as well for the Genjutsu he was using in this training to better learn how to combine the uses of his Genjutsu into something like a synthesized layering of the illusions. At least it seems that he's learned enough from this training to be able to use it at least somewhat effectively, although he knows that it's going to take a lot more training to perfect his method of making Genjutsu compound with one another in order to make his techniques that much more effective in trapping his opponents in what might be quite debilitating illusions meant to make the escape far more difficult.
Perhaps he should continue this training on his own or with his teammates instead of simply subjecting his own sensei to these effects, since he seems to have some form of reflexive desire to attack those who use techniques like this on him. At the very least, Oriko decides it would be best to hold his tongue about what he perceives to be a threat, even though Masato immediately follows up this threat with praise, even suggesting that he'll make a great Genjutsu user. He still gives Masato a smile, because this praise was not common in the life that Oriko had lived up to this point, and he often relishes in what little praise he does actually receive from those who outrank him, in particular.
"Skrk. Thank you, sensei. Skrk."
With that, he gives the older man a wave before skipping off back to his home, although he still feels a bit of unease about the strange interaction he'd just had with the Jounin. Were such threats common? He just didn't know enough.
