Mania has a slim, but muscular body and stands at 5'5. He possesses very sharp features and fluorescent, amber eyes when in dark spaces or beneath moonlight. During the day when sunlight is present, his eyes will appear blue. His short hair is black with a blue sheen and styled with a bang that hangs low enough to cover the sides of his face but leaves his eyes visible.

Mania is usually tempered in demeanor, his stoic portrayal allows him to look completely in control despite whatever precarious situation he might find himself in. Possessing keen eyes and sharp senses, Mania is extremely observant and intelligent - said intellect reveals itself to be more intuitive rather than simple knowledge. The more one gets to know him, the more they'll realize Mania has an uncanny knack for finding correlations in the smallest of nuances. Where others see a dead end, Mania sees possibilities. Generally, he is the quiet type who prefers to observe rather than engage, which manifests in almost all of his interactions. There are two reflections of Mania presented to the world as he suffers from manic depression. When on the low end, Mania's mind is assailed by the disembodied voice of his growing psychosis.
He can be irrational, fearful, aggressive, or on edge when his episodes flare. Because of Mania's ability to maintain his composure, this aspect of himself has converted him into a pessimist. So, while he may not always show staggering changes in his mannerisms and actions, he is almost assuredly going through some form of internal conflict that leads to one end of the spectrum. When things escalate to an extreme point these negatives are heightened greatly and likely to leave cracks in an otherwise perfect, specious, poker face. The high end of his mania makes him more excitable and overtaken by euphoria. In this state Mania has a propensity to rant, often going on long tirades about obscure, intangible concepts or notions. Mania will fixate on an emotion, reveling in acts of violence, delusion, realization, and dangerous situations.
There are no consistent triggers for these changes, but they are onset from a combination of outside stimuli and Mania's mental observations. It could be an odd coincidence noticed during a mundane conversation or a number repeatedly seen throughout the day that sways the balance Mania tip-toes on a day-to-day basis. Mania fluctuates between these mental states, making most impressions of himself seem capricious and irreverent. These extremes culminate in his experience, when favoring one side, or the other for too long. In a neutral state of mind, Mania is extremely aloof - a by-product of his inner nature and ANBU training. It can be hard to know where and what Mania is up to, as he excels at keeping a low profile. Mania is skilled at maintaining a low profile and often exits as quickly as he arrives. Most would call him mysterious or detached.
Mania desires knowledge - he craves to know the world's secrets and how things fundamentally work. Mania can be excellent at subtly getting information from individuals, whether by force, manipulation, or cooperation. Mania values candid individuals who tell the truth and respects them for their honesty because he has deeply rooted trust issues that make it hard for him to make friends or allies. Because of his upbringing in Kusagakure, Mania often lives life on the razor's edge, doing what he sees fit as he sees fit. Mania is nomadic at heart, but his work does not allow for much travel during his free time. He enjoys reading and learning about the world's cultures, and history. Mania has taken to making Ryo, wanting to generate as much profit as possible, but he has no purpose for it. Long-term, Mania does not have any tangible goals. He wistfully crawls through life pondering what would truly make him happy. He is very conflicted about duty and his purpose, so he deeply contemplates how life would be if he seizes the future for himself.
FIGHTING STYLE Mania prefers to keep enemies at arm's length, opting to maintain the engagement threshold from medium to long-range. This is the ideal space Mania can operate within. His clan-specific jutsu excels at controlling the battlefield, creating hazardous traps with various effects from his Fungal Manipulation. Mania's jutsu primarily focuses on protecting himself while making it harder for his opponents to press him and advance. Mania has some talent with Genjutsu but has not explored learning any yet. His true value stems from his clan's ability to use Ikō to meld with earth and flora. Mania has a talent for using this technique to scout, infiltrate strongholds, and standard espionage-like operations. The young ninja uses hit-and-run tactics to maintain distance while probing an enemy's defenses in search of weaknesses. Mania's way of fighting can be best described as crafty, cunning, and unorthodox. Ingenuity plays a large part in how Mania decides to tackle challenges.

Because Mania belongs to the Gurē clan, his body has a unique physiology - placing him closer to the fungi spectrum, rather than human. Having an inherently stronger life force than most has seeped into his chakra to allow Mania control over germinating and cultivating a plethora of various fungi life. Mania can grow, shape, and manipulate all forms of fungi, including but not limited to yeasts, molds, poisonous and non-poisonous mushrooms. Mania is capable of using Fungi-anatomy-based techniques such as various secretions or enzymes of different Fungi. Using chakra to alter his cells even further he can easily produce or grow any part of a Fungi's anatomy from his body. Lastly, because these specific types of techniques are created from his cells or bodily fluids, such as converting their saliva into a specific Fungi secretion, Mania is immune to their effects.

Due to Mania's genetic Makeup sharing similarities to Fungi, he has the innate ability to merge his body with flora and the earth itself utilizing [Ikō]. Mania can control chakra to merge with any underground network of organic matter, which consists of things like plant roots, water veins, and decomposing materials. Mania can conceal himself in such things as trees, shrubbery, roots, dirt, and so forth. Once melded, his presence is completely concealed, only being sensed by those with chakra sense. Mania can also use this ability to travel within the underground network of organic matter, covering distances of up to 5 km per post. This specific talent allows Mania to excel at infiltration and covert operations.
