One such source of friction comes from a failed attempt to establish a new hidden temple within a village in the north of Vegetable Country - a humble town called Akamori.
It came to light that the Prophet, Kyodai Jun, was once an Inquisitor, and a murderer of the family of the residents a decade ago. Predictably, the village turned to riot when this occurred, and a mob was assembled to destroy the murderous priest.
He has survived the first two executions - a beating and a crucifixion. The third is set to be a success - setting the cross he is nailed and lashed to ablaze, until everything is ash and cinder.
Death is to be avoided for Jashin’s faithful, for as long as they have service to offer. The task is simple, and the reward meager: deliver Kyodai Jun from his fate, and see that he can continue to serve Jashin. Failing that, at least deliver him to the proper authorities, so that the Law Country does not see the execution of one of their civilians by an angry mob as a provocation for war. |
