A name he earned back in the Academy, partly out of his pinkish-red hair, partly out of his initial struggles with his Bakuton, Zakuro was often teased as being "merely a Cherry Bomb".
As he's gotten older, and flirtatious, he's leaned more into the title, enjoying the playful nature of it.
Prince Zakuro (Village)
As the son of the Godaime, and a rather flamboyant man at that, Zakuro is sometimes referred to jokingly as the Prince of the Village. Rather than take offense, Zakuro has leaned into it, with what was once solely a negative name now having some positive usage.
Rokudaime (Self-Declared)
Acting half as an alias and half as a promise, Zakuro has taken to referring to himself as "the future sixth" or the "rokudaime", a reference to his intention to inherit the leadership of Iwa when his mother either dies or retires.

Despite being mostly known for being the son of the Tsuchikage, the truth is that Zakuro looks nothing like his mother. In fact, there is so little family resemblance that prior to developing his Kekkei Genkai there were rumors that he had been swapped at birth.
Of middling height, with a lithe and almost effete body, Zakuro is an undeniably beautiful young man. With high cheekbones and vibrant red eyes, he seems to be the very embodiment of elegance and poise, However, those who are skilled judges of character are able to see a twinkle of discord behind his eyes, a spark of chaos behind that finery.
Blessed with his father's red hair, he has been growing it out for years out of respect for his father. Kept bound up with a simple gold clasp, it now trails down to his belt, hence why he has to keep it out of his face for risk of it getting caught up in the aftermath of his explosions.
In terms of body language, Zakuro carries himself with an air of confidence and self-assuredness that many people would envy. Whether in his civilian clothes, wearing heavier armour for the village, or even when in the nude, he seems to maintain a sense of unflappability that can easily put others onto the backfoot.
When not having to wear his flak jacket, Zakuro tensd to enjoy wearing airy, loose clothes with a lot of room to breathe. Part of this is because of the flexibility it gives him, but it is also because of his discomfort with being tied down any more than he has to be.
PERSONALITY NINDO: "Life is short, let's have a blast."
Raised in a very religious household, one might have imagined that Zakuro would carry on the legacy of his mother's zealotry. Yet, at least on the surface, it would appear that could not be further from the truth.
A known troublemaker, someone who enjoys fooling around and being what some would consider "a playboy", known for his relationships with both men and women alike, he is a rather infamous figure within the village.
Despite this, underneath the surface, there is more of a resemblance between mother and son than one might expect. Despite his devil-may-care attitude, he takes his role within the village extremely seriously and actively goes out of his way to help as many people as he can, always looking for a more peaceful option if one presents itself.
This nicety and borderline pacifism is all in service of one goal - his future ascension to Tsuchikage. Both out of a genuine sense of care for his mother, who he believes is liable to work herself to death, and out of a more juvenile desire for power and authority, Zakuro has chosen the path of the Leader.
As a result, Zakuro has become secretly rather manipulative - He will work situations to try and force them to come up his way, allow people to get away with what they shouldn't so he has material on them, and will flirt with anyone and anything that he finds amusing.
Though he won't admit it, there is also a rather sadistic undertone to a lot of his actions. Like many within the Yutakako clan, the raw power of his Kekkei Genkai has led to some rather sadistic tendencies. He enjoys being more powerful than others, even if only in minor ways, and part of his deliberate borderline-pacifism is to ensure he doesn't risk going too far with opponents.
Lastly, the most notable thing that one should know about Zakuro is his relationship with his boyfriend, Okami Shizuka. Being considered somewhat of a taboo relationship, Zakuro attempts to keep the more physical side of things hidden, though he still flirts openly. After all, given everything, wouldn't it be stranger not to?

FIGHTING STYLE Unlike his mother, defining Zakuro's fighting style is somewhat complicated. Simply, that is because he does not have a default fighting style, basing his attacks around the opponents' tactics and attempting to outthink what they might bring to the table.
Defining the trope "jack of all trades, master of none", Zakuro tries to ensure that there's no blind spots in anything he does. Even if he'll never be as strong as a tai-specialist, he will be able to trick them with a fuin trap, or overwhelm a nin-specialist by breaking their arm with his staff.
All of this, of course, requires him to get a good look at his opponent and to understand how they move first of all. As such, he may be mistaken for being cautious or reluctant to join a fight when the truth is anything but. He adores the feeling of adrenaline, of crossing blades with an opponent, he's just unwilling to go into situations blind.
If there were one thing that he could be considered to specialize in, if anything, it would be his family's Kekkei Genkai - Having developed it extremely early in childhood, becoming a minor hazard in his own right considering the sheer destructive power in the hands of a child, he has been working with it all his life to the point where its second nature.
However, unlike many of the more violent or thoughtless members of his clan, he's very adept at using it for various approaches. Strikes in combat, transit speed, blinding opponents, demolishing key locations, all of these are regular parts of his repertoire.
Lastly, having made friends with the local spider population when he was a child, Zakuro is quite familiar with fighting alongside them as summons. Lords of Destruction
Like the rest of his clan, Zakuro was born with an additional element - namely, Bakuton, the ability to generate explosives and infuse explosive energy into earthen materials.
He has trained, both under his mother and other mentors, how to use this superbly, being able to use it in whichever form it need be used.
A Little Extra Oomph
Though Zakuro is a generalist in the truest sense of the word, if he can say to specialize in any one thing? It would be Bakuton. Not only is Zakuro specialised in Bakuton, he's also significantly more skilled at it than other rank and file members of the clan.
In Zakuro's hands, any Bakuton jutsu is improved beyond their usual limits; His explosives can be enlarged or shrunk, the explosion is far hotter, and he is able to detonate otherwise impenetrable material such as some metals.
With One's Own Hands
As part of his studies with Bakuton, it was imperative that Zakuro learn how to use multiple styles simultaneously; rapidly switching between Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Fuinjutsu, Genjutsu or anything else beside.
In order to more easily facilitate this swap-up style, he learned a "cheat": how to throw signs one-handed. Whilst this allows him to wield something, throw a fist or generate sensory information with his free hand, he has yet to master casting two separate jutsus that require handsigns.
