With a short height and slender build, Ryouma is a pale boy with youthful features. His long, dark black hair is most often worn in a ponytail with a green colored cloth based hairtie and though he may seem entirely androgynous from a distance upon closer inspection Ryouma falls more into the "bishounen" category than femboy. His features are still fairly masculine but have a touch of femininity about them, helped in no way by the feminine tone of his voice. Occasionally his bangs fall down over one of his eyes, giving him a "peek-a-boo bangs" look, and both of his eyes are of a bright blue coloration. His fingernails and toenails are both painted black.
Ryouma's standard attire consists of a blue colored top resembling that of a kimono and a matching blue pair of hakama, both fixed to his person through a combination of green and white colored obi sashes. His top has two white colored cloth sashes around each shoulder and while the left arm has a short sleeve the right arm, his dominant, is left sleeveless for ease of movement. Upon his feet are worn two waraji with white colored tabi socks. He wears a whit colored, open fingered glove alongside a small bracer on his right hand and lower arm, while his left arm is adorned with a larger bracer and no glove.
He also keeps a large Japanese-styled bow on his person along with, on the small of his back, a holster containing a number of arrows usually tied to his person using the aforementioned green colored sash. Finally Ryouma has the following equipment pieces to house other, smaller equipment: two hip pouches worn on his upper thighs at the front of his body and four thigh holsters.

Lackadaisical and disarming, Ryouma gives off the impression of a friend right from the get go. It doesn't matter if you're a stranger or a longtime companion, Ryouma will most often treat you the exact same. Usually with a smile or some kind of sly smirk on his face, despite how kind Ryouma can be it's always difficult to tell exactly what his intentions are. Though not holding any kind of title Ryouma is a welcome and recognized face within Amegakure's Himin Machi, having been born and raised within those slums. He's the kind that's always willing to offer a helping hand but makes you question if there's some kind of hidden meaning behind his actions. His words don't usually help matters, peppered with hidden meanings and potential double entendres that always leave those he interacts with guessing.
In truth, behind that mask of kindness Ryouma is a fairly dour and detached individual. He lacks any real goal in life and hides his almost nihilistic nature behind claiming laziness. He is also much, much more intelligent than his carefree nature might lead one to believe, and is not above manipulating those around him to get what he wants. He has an intensely strong disdain for those more fortunate, extending up to and including the village's leadership. Ryouma views the people of the world in two very distinct categories: the Haves and the Have-Nots. Though overall he feels there is no intrinsic value to life the closeness and camaraderie he exhibits toward the other less fortunate members of Amegakure no Satou is not entirely exaggerated.
One field that Ryouma has dedicated a great deal of time into is that of the ninja arts. Outwardly he'll claim to view being a shinobi as nothing more than collecting a paycheck for the sake of survival, but it is much more than that for him. The survival aspect for him does not revolve around collecting money as much as it does having the skills necessary to defend oneself. Given his twisted sense of morality Ryouma has on more than a few occasions swindled people out of their hard earned coin... but these "hard earnings" usually revolve around illicit means. That is to say, Ryouma primarily targets conmen. He is no Robin Hood however, as instead he pockets the money and keeps it for himself rather than giving it back to the others. Survival of the fittest and all that.
HISTORY Fuchizaki Ryouma never knew his parents.
Born in the year 1010, Ryouma's earliest memories revolve around living within an orphanage located within Amegakure no Satou's Himin Machi. For the first ten years of his life Ryouma had about as average a growth within an orphanage as you could expect, apart from the fact that no one seemed interested in adopting him. He learned very young to put on a fake face to try and garner success, but there were never any biters. Ryouma shifted his efforts when he was young to instead start to help the other orphans get adopted, taking on the surname of the orphanage's director. Ryouma, like many of his "brothers" and "sisters", would hear tales told by the director and of other orphans who had come back from foster families of the shinobi world and rather than enamor him like the other children Ryouma, born with a fairly high intellect, began to view it more as a tool than anything else. Because of this, once he hit ten years old and had acquired a great deal of knowledge he asked the director if he could join Amegakure's Academy.
Ryouma's time during his Academy years, despite being older than many of his classmates, is what helped develop that false smile and persona that he holds nowadays yet also helped develop his more manipulative characteristics. His natural intelligence helped him pass through the written portions, but when it came to the ninja arts themselves his only real talent seemed to revolve around using tools. This didn't hamper him, however, as he was able to sweet talk assistance out of his fellow classmates. Upon graduating from the Academy the director of the orphanage decided to start giving Ryouma an allowance, enabling him to find his own apartment within Amegakure's Himin Machi. A few missions ended up under Ryouma's belt to help afford it, along with the money he'd swipe from the conmen who had no chance of going to the Police Corps due to this having required them to admit the scams they were running.
Presently Ryouma has now set his sights on joining a team, as most Genin do, and has caught wind of the upcoming Chuunin Exams being hosted in Kusagakure. Though he has never heard of the land before he has begun to finally feel something within that dark pit of a heart, something that has begun to spur him on to train even more and to attempt to get actual missions under his belt that aren't as simple as saving someone's cat or finding someone's lost wallet.
FIGHTING STYLE A specialist in the utilization of ninja tools, Ryouma is a long range combatant that relies primarily and heavily upon ninja tools. Kunai, shuriken, exploding tags, you name it and Ryouma will most likely have enough knowledge to utilize it. Because of this he tends to struggle more in close-range encounters as though he is a speedy and agile fighter, regularly practicing and honing his skills in parkour around Amegakure, his strength and overall durability, most notably due to the lack of any strong defensive jutsu, are his largest weakpoints.
Ryouma's specialty in Bukijutsu does not rely on his usage of generic weaponry, however, and instead primarily revolves around the fact that he is a bow and arrow specialist. Having trained under the tutelage of his orphanage's director Ryouma can hit the bullseye in a target from great distances, though he is no perfectionist and at his young age it is more fair to say he has high potential rather than exceptionally high skill.

Enhanced Sight
Through a combination of training as an archer and a born talent Ryouma is able to see much further than your standard human being. At present Ryouma is capable of passively having a sight that extends to a range of 20m, which increases to 100m when he's properly focusing.
Enhanced Agility [Parkour]
Due to spending a number of years traversing Amegakure's slums Ryouma has developed an enhanced agility trait that specifically exhibits itself in the field of parkour. Ryouma can scale buildings with relative ease and leap from rooftop to rooftop, provided the distance and drop aren't far enough to cause intense injury or a lethal outcome. It is important to note that while Ryouma is a practitioner of parkour this is all done naturally and without the assistance of jutsu, leaving him susceptible to injury if he is not careful and limiting his capabilities, at least at present, to what one would be capable of naturally.
