After days of being preoccupied with preparation and settling in, Touwa finally found a moment to explore Hirata. This vibrant village in Nohara no Kuni was renowned as the nation’s premier vacation spot, attracting visitors from all over with its lively casinos and other entertainment staples. The contrast to the quieter corners of Takigakure.

Touwa and his group had come to Hirata for the Chuunin Exams. Today, however, was a rare opportunity to unwind and explore the city. He stepped out into the bustling streets. His first mission of the day was personal: finding a gift for Kaoru. As he wandered through the streets, he observed the modern concrete buildings, interspersed with the occasional wood and stone structures that added a touch of traditional charm. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter, chatter, and the distant clinking of casino coins.

Inspecting several shops, Touwa encountered a variety of goods, from handcrafted trinkets to luxurious silk garments. Despite the wide array of options, nothing seemed to capture the essence of what he wanted for Kaoru. He was searching for something special, something that would stand out, but after visiting numerous shops, he still hadn't found the perfect gift. With a sigh, he decided to put off his search for another time and shifted his focus to finding a place to train.

Despite his best efforts, the city's layout proved challenging. Training grounds, if there were any, remained unknown to him. He asked a few locals, but their directions led him in circles. Deciding to put off training for the moment, he shifted his focus to a more immediate need: relaxation.

Spotting a quaint teahouse nestled between two larger buildings, Touwa felt drawn to it. He climbed to the second floor and found a seat by the window. The teahouse offered a perfect vantage point to observe the hustle and bustle below. He ordered a cup of the house special, a fragrant tea that soothed his senses. As he sipped the warm beverage, he watched the crowd ebb and flow, appreciating the city's rhythm.

The Araikettei clan's KKG allows the user to obtain and wield the Life Blade - Ruiteki. The blade has its own consciousness and is capable of acting on its own. Regardless, Touwa and his Life Blade are inextricably linked to life and death. When one dies, the other dies, and thus anyone who is not Touwa is unable to wield the weapon.

After investing a significant amount of time Touwa has achieved an understanding of his lifeblade. As a result, he has unlocked the ability to establish communication with them. This newfound connection enables Touwa to effectively manipulate and mold the lifeblade according to his desires. Harnessing the power of the Araikettei clan's hijutsu, Touwa now possesses the capability to skillfully utilize various techniques through the embodiment of Ruiteki itself.

It was an odd thing, to be the hosting village of the Chuunin exams. Yoshitaka's position meant that he was working quite hard behind the scenes and communicating rather heavily with the other villages via letter and courier, but he wasn't exactly a visible face in the competition. For the moment though, he had come to his favourite tea house in Hirata and was simply enjoying a moment of peace and respite as he sat on the floor in the corner of the second floor main room, his tea laid out before him in a way that allowed him to make it to his own preferences.

Taking one last sip of his most recent cup, the man picked up his Pipa and brought it into position, considering for a moment before he began to play. 

His fingers plucked at the instrument calmly as he looked out over the room, taking everything in but not reacting to it in any particular way. The patrons too didn't really respond beyond nod in his direction as well, he'd been here and done this often enough that it wasn't concerning to anyone who was a regular.

That said, he couldn't help but glance over to the boy that had come in while he was drinking his own tea, not needing to think for the details to come up in his mind. Takigakure Genin, Tokonatsu Clan, son of one Tokonatsu Yukari... whom he had interacted with some twelve years ago... and whose birthday fell within a particularly concerning range.

As he watched the crowd below, he began to notice a melody drifting through the air. His ears perked up, recognizing the unmistakable sound of a Pipa. The music was skillful and calm, a stark contrast to the chaos of the outside world.

Curiosity piqued, and Touwa scanned the room for the source of the music. His eyes fell upon a man in the corner, an older gentleman who seemed to be a fixture in the teahouse. The man played the Pipa with a practiced ease, his fingers dancing over the strings as he created a beautiful, serene melody.

Touwa appreciated good music, and the performance captivated him. He decided to approach the musician, driven by a mix of genuine appreciation and a desire to engage with someone who seemed so at ease in this unfamiliar city. As he neared, he noticed the man's calm demeanor and the way the other patrons seemed to respect his presence.

"Excuse me, sir," Touwa began, his tone polite but tinged with his usual confidence. "Your playing is remarkable. It's not every day I hear someone with such skill. It's rare to find someone who can play with such emotion and precision. Do you perform here often?"
