DESCRIPTION:
A group of bandits have been raiding travelling caravans on their way north through the valley pass to Sancho. They are growing confident and ambitious. Their forces are unknown but made up of wandering thieves and criminals. The chief of the nearest village, Akazaya, has placed a bounty on the group leader’s head and would bring in a nice bonus if he is brought in alive and made stand trial for his crimes..

Yamatsu finished packing his gear for the trip he had been assigned. Bandits had become more of a problem lately attacking caravans of merchants and civilians heading through the valley pass to Sancho. Great more of these scum picking on the innocent. The thought sat in his mind as he remembered the bandit camp he and Risi had taken down. He was being sent with a Jounin and wondered if this was a test of his skills or if he was being babysat because of his position. It mattered not in his eyes, he always put forth his best effort no matter what. He looked over to the two sleeping wolves, Oki and Ino, before giving a shrill whistle. The twin wolves heads popped up knowing it was time to go. "We are going to be away from the village for a few days, we know how treacherous the wilds can be. I expect you two to listen to our new Sensei like you would me understood?" He had asked his neighbor to tend to his mother's garden while he was gone. The plants were doing well since he had begun taking care of them again. Opening the wooden gate he stopped and took another look at the house he lived in alone, well not alone he had his siblings Oki and Ino. He closed and latched the gate before taking off at a comfortable jog letting the wolves trot behind. The trio made their way towards the main gate of Kumogakure ready to meet this Omori Tozuki and be on their way. He had never met an Omori but had heard of them, he would make sure to be as respectful as possible.

    There wasn't much in the way of packing that Tozuki needed to do for much of any mission or travel these days. By his front door was a closet built after moving into his newest place, from ceiling to floor, holding multiple packs that had different types of gear inside. Each one had a different load out of gear, weapons, clothes, and similar travel gear, so all he had to do in most cases was open the two wood doors as he was leaving, grab the appropriate pack, and leave. For this specific trip he grabbed a pack, left the house, and went to meet a Genin he'd be traveling with for a short few day trip.

    Anyone that saw Tozuki leave were almost certainly members of the Omori clan, but within seconds of his door being locked and it at least looked as if he was walking away, he was gone. It didn't look like he had dashed or jumped away, he was just visually not there anymore, as if he was never there to begin with. The way he appeared next to Yamatsu wasn't much different, as he was just kind of...there, walking towards him a meter or so away. Given the nature of the mission, he wasn't wearing his usual SOKA gear, as it often brought more attention than it needed to if he was walking around openly on roads or into villages, and his face wasn't seen near enough for anyone to recognize him outside of the village anyways.

"Yamatsu, right?"

    There was an odd look to his eyes, and his toothy grin only made it bordering on incredibly kind and sinister, near cancelling each out in a strange facial expression. The way his eyebrows were sharper than most, only added to the appearance, making it a bit hard to want to keep eye contact with him. Reaching behind his back, he pulled something into view that looked like a simple metal handle, that with a bit of a motion turned into a full length staff. As he paced back and forth he retracted it and extended it on repeat. As he looked up to the sky now and then, it was hard to tell what he was looking at or for, until he suddenly turned back to Yamatsu and motioned to follow him, as he started walking off.

"Alright, let's head out."

As Yamatsu approached the main gate he saw a single figure that looked to be waiting for him. The three of them slowed as Yamatsu offered a wave before responding to the mans question. "Yes sir Ikinokoru Yamatsu, Wolf Sage apprentice reporting for duty. This is Oki and Ino and they are prepared for what may come." He returned the mans smile feeling a little awkward. The look in his eyes almost seemed like he knew more about Yamatsu than he was letting on. It took more self control for him to not take a step back. The older mans smile and demeanor made Yamatsu more than a little uncomfortable. He was not sure what it was and the wolves seemed to not mind him. It did seem however that the man completely ignored his sibling or maybe just did not see them. The Omori paced back and forth looking here and there, up to the sky and almost all around as he pulled out what Yamatsu could only assume was a metal walking stick. He turned beginning to walk away before motioning for Yamatsu to follow. "Yes sir right behind you." He looked to his siblings giving an shrug of his shoulders as Oki huffed. "Maybe he is blind and needs the stick to see." His sisters words made Yamatsu wonder the same as the trio followed the man out the gates. He made sure to do his best to keep up and not expend to much energy. They had been ordered to take down the bandits but keep the leader alive to face justice. "Sir, may I ask if you've been sent with me to keep an eye on me because of my position?"

    His plan had been to play dumb until they were a ways away from the village then make some comments about the animals, try and lighten the mood at a point that the trip would no doubt become boring, but hearing a voice that wasn't coming from Yamatsu, his brow raised and his pace slowed, but didn't stop. Looking back, he looked down at where he heard the voice, staring at the animal, but responded to Yamatsu.

"Something like that."

    Finally looking back ahead, he started twirling the staff between his fingers idly, not saying anything for a few minutes.

"Ya know, I like animals. Can't say I've ever heard one talk. Not one that wasn't summoned first at least."

    Looking back down at the wolf again, his eyes narrowing suspiciously before he looked back ahead of them.

"Not that I really care, just, wouldn't have it be too chatty around non-shinobi. Civilians tend to get freaked out real easily, ya know."

    Rubbing at the back of his head, his thoughts fell the actual mission, then a stray thought stuck in his head, as he folded up the staff and put it away. a moment later he was removing his headband and slid it into the pocket of his pants. Turning make, he motioned for Yamatsu to walk closer, then motioned towards his headband.

"Take it off for now, but keep it somewhere you can show it if you need to. I could complete this mission fairly quick, but this is more for you than me so, we aren't going to do it my usual way. If these morons like jumping people going through the valley pass, we might get lucky and have them try the same to us. They are less likely to bother us if they see our headbands, so let's play dumb."

    Patting at his headband he had just pocketed, he raised his arms above his head stretching.

"We capture a few morons, have them take us to whoever their leader is, easy as that."

⚠ Random Scenario ! 1 POST COUNT(5/15) scenario. The two's venture into the valley would be relatively quiet at the start. If they were hoping to encounter the bandits within it as possible targets, they would only find what looked to be an man, running in almost a panic as they tripped and stumbled over their feet.  Their face was bloodied, but they appeared unharmed for the most part. Scuffed knees and bruises were common on such a trail. But the words escaping them, the screams of terror as they ran into the two, gripping upon them feet as they feel over almost out of breath. "RUN! DON"T GO THAT WAY!!" His voice almost seemed horse considering he had been yelling this warning for some time now, all the while keeping himself at a rapid pace just to reach anyone who would stop and listen. "My friends and I...We were attacked! They took everything! Our wares! Our horses! Everything!!" The dark haired male would look up toward them, his hands resting upon the ground as he finally seemed to be getting his second wind. "We've been trying to warn everyone coming through here! This place! Those bandits! They just showed up out of no where! Attacking from every side! Then! They robbed us blind!"

Yamatsu still was not sure why the Jounin was with him but he did not question it any further. He could not help but chuckle a small bit thinking Tozuki was ignorant to the fact they were his Sage summons. He made a good point about them speaking in public. He looked to the two animals with fondness as he gave them a quick order. "Brother, Sister, Beta formation stay sharp and loose." As he finished speaking the wolves split up. Oki ran off to the pairs right, while Ino to the left. He knew they would stay out of sight but close enough to assist if anything should happen. He hustled to catch up to the Omori looking at his left arm. As much as he valued his headband he knew it was a smart choice to take and hide it. "Sir do you think..." He untied and hid his headband in the waistband of his pants. He was interrupted mid sentence by the sounds of a man seeming to be screaming for his life. Could this be a trap, part of the ploy for these villains. He moved to Tozuki's right as the man literally fell at their feet. They had no cart and only the small packs on their backs. It would be hard to seem like merchants, Yamatsu thought quickly. "Dad he must be speaking about the ones we've heard about, are you okay?" Yamatsu took note the man had said he and his friend and he saw no second man. He retrieved a water bottle from his pack offering it to the man. "We can't go back, it'll take to long and mom needs the medicine we have. What are we supposed to do dad?" He looked up at the older man wondering what he was thinking.

"Please stop screaming."

    His first thought wasn't any sort of panic, or even to get defensive, but sighing at the loud obnoxious yelling headed their way. If this was one of the bandits trying to distract them, they really were morons after all. Looking around he only stopped when he was closer to them, almost paying no attention to them as he tried to make sure no one else was about to jump out and ambush them, or this supposed friend wasn't around to come running out screaming as well.

    Once he was satisfied enough, he sighed, brushing his hair from his face as he grabbed under the man's arm, helping him back to his feet. His somewhat aloof demeanor slowly changed, as he looked back to Yamatsu, motioning for him to help the guy out.

"We'll just have to keep going."

    All the while he was still looking around, waiting for Yamatsu to take hold of the man before walking around the other side of them, taking in the pathway forward.

"Sir, how far away were these bandits? And where are you friends? And did you see which direction the bandits left after you were attacked?"

    Tozuki was far from an amazing actor, so he was barely attempting and simply trying to ask genuine questions as not to look too suspicious. Rubbing the bridge of his nose he pulled his pack off his back and bent down resting it on the ground, as he pulled out a few things and pocketed them, before handing Yamatsu a food pill and motioning to give it to the man. He hadn't heard any fighting, not any noise at all from where they were until the man ran up to them screaming for help. Either sound didn't travel well in this area or the man had been running for a bit.

⚠ Random Scenario ! yfOQIw3d POST COUNT(8/15) scenario. While the young man had managed to calm himself upon being told not to scream, his demeanor did very little to change as he remained on his knees in a full panic. It was as though he were frozen, eyes glassed over as he struggled to respond to the question asked of him. Where were his friends? He could only guess if they were indeed still okay after attempting to split off to give warning to other travelers? What way did the bandits go after robbing him and his group? It was likely any way as far as he knew since he had been so focused on just escaping with his life after such an ordeal. Receiving the small gift, the young man would attempt to compose himself, yet tears were now streaming down his face as he would attempt to answer, but find the words evading him as he rubbed the area beneath his nose. "I...I...I don't know...but please! Listen to me! You shouldn't risk your lives taking this way! I...I..." Finally rising back to his feet, he'd then begin to push past them as he rushed off in the opposite direction, leaving the pill behind as his feet pushed him further into the distance. If there was any hope in getting answers for the traveler, that attempt had failed. The two could risk continuing forward with the plan of running into the bandits on the path, but no information would be provided on if that was the case save for what was already given. As for the two wolves that were split, they would likely not sense anything in regards to possible attacks before them, seeing nothing from their positions save for what likely would be the remains of the previous attack mentions earlier.

As the man ran off Yamatsu could not help but have an off feeling in his gut. He picked up the food pill from the ground and put it in his pocket. He looked around using his trained ears to listen for any sort of ambush. The twins had not givin a warning so he felt safe enough. He gave a low whistle waiting for a moment before Oki can bounding up to him. "A man just ran that way from here, follow him. I need you to make sure he isn't an enemy. Do not be seen, if anything seems off come back to me brother. Use all of your swiftness to stay safe and come home." The wolf gave a quick huff before rushing after the man. As much as Yamatsu did not want to send his sibling away on his own, he knew Oki was the fastest out of him and Ino. He rose to his feet watching the wolf run off in the distance. "I guess the only way left to go is forward Tozuki Sensei." They still had Ino out there watching their flanks. The she wolf was no slouch in tracking making Yamatsu feel a bit of comfort. He started walking again down the path before them. His ears almost as sharp as the two wolves listening for anything and everything.

    Making sure he was standing behind the guy once more, he sighed and brought his hands up, creating a single sign. The humidity in the air started to form a water clone in front of Tozuki, as he rubbed at the bridge of his nose. Moving a few feet away he whispered some instructions to it, motioning behind him a few times, then walking running off to the side out of view for a moment. He was partially trying to get out of view, and partially just checking the immediate area.

Description:

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.

    The clone walked up and put a hand on the man's back, motioning away from where he had just ran.

"You know, you have a point. Why don't you let me escort you to somewhere safer."

    His plan immediately failed as the man full panic sprinted away, leaving the clone to stand there confused, and the exact same expression on Tozuki's face as he came walking back out, looking between the man running away, his clone, and Yamatsu.

"What in the actual hell was that?"

    Seeing the instructions given to follow the man, Tozuki motioned for his clone to follow, pointing and motioning for him to be quick about it.

"If you see anything relay it to the animal, do not return here or follow us. If you are spotted immediately disperse, do not fight or run."

    The clone immediately took off running after the animal as the two of them disappeared. Scratching his forehead he just shook his head sighing.

"Yeah let's head up the path. Maybe we'll see something worth seeing."

    Now he was just confused and a bit annoyed to be honest, not knowing what all that was about. Perhaps it was just a matter of someone panicking, but it would have been funny if they weren't trying to get information out of them still. Motioning for Yamatsu to follow again he started walking, his hands lazily resting behind his head.

⚠ Random Scenario ! eu74o3MO POST COUNT(11/15) scenario. With the young man having gained some distance from the two, seeing the pursuit of what appeared to be the duplicate and an animal's faint presence at his heels, his body would skirt to a stop, before drawing forth what looked to be a whistle. Placing the object to his lips, the brisk release of air into it's opening would prompt two figures to rise up from the bushes of the valley, swiftly moving in to intercept as they attempted to strike at the wolf and the second towards the clone. It would appear that any option of following them would have to wait, though it was now proven that their caution of the man was well kept. "Bout time they sent shinobi..." A smirk would cross his lips as he would then allow his features to change and his figure to shrink as he then seemed to reveal more female like appearance. "Let em know who's valley this is boys!" ---------------------- The sound of the whistle would echo through the valley, while faint to the two shinobi, prompting five men to begin their own assault from their positions within hiding, two on each side and then two seeming to appear from the wreckage of the attacked caravan. From their position of both sides, the bandits would mount their assault, releasing a barrage of shuriken down upon the pair as they seemed organized enough to do so, working in unison to through down a total of 24 flying stars at the duo. As the four attacks used distance as their ally, the one at their front would seem to work towards completing a formation of hand seal. Though as soon as this was done, the ground before the two would seem to shake if they caught sight of them, feeling the desire to be incapable of holding their stance if preparing an defensive.
