Yua hadn’t been able to be involved in these exams as a participant, but she sure as heck was screaming loudly from the seats when her cousin was up for a fight. "Hell yeah Kumori! Kick that kid’s ass!” It might have been a bit silly for someone as short as her to judge someone’s age by their height but Yua didn’t really care. Her attention was focused on watching that big bulky sword Kumori used go up against something smaller like the things everyone else in the clan favoured. Sure the other participant (whoever that was, she hadn’t really been paying attention) wasn’t a Futago but the weapon choice was still the same by the look of it. Even if there were now two of them.

"Come on Kumori you’ve got this! Show him your strength, break those little twigs!” The girl was standing on her seat now, probably to the annoyance of everyone around her as she continued to scream out probably incomprehensible support to the young woman doing the actual fight. Not that she tended to care what the people around her thought in a moment like this, it wasn’t her doing anything important or special, it was someone else! And getting to see a relative fight like this was a special moment.

That might not have been entirely true, though. She was throwing the occasional glance to the person sitting next to her from time to time with slight look of concern in her eyes. Thee last thing Yua wanted was to cause poor Saito second hand embarrassment or something thanks to how loud and boisterous she was being about the whole thing. She really did like her family, even if she was causing them a little stress with her simple presence sometimes.

He caught the peripheral vision of one of the eyes that rested on the back of Chitoku’s neck. He licked his lips, he was too parched for something so salty. Ayane was on beer duty, but she’d probably gotten lost somewhere along the way.

Another eye that peaked out from the bandages wrapped around his forearm spotted the occasional glance of the purple haired young lady who’d been seated next to him. She seemed to favor the kunoichi out of the two fighters down below, currently engaged in just as much conversation as they were sparring. Things were looking like a stalemate, but he was still watching carefully to see if one of them would draw blood.

Out of boredom he decided to strike up some conversation of his own. It would be better than being silently stared at, which he assumed was because of the plethora of eyes that dotted his body.

"You know her, hm?” he said, his voice sheepish and rather dull. "It probably makes this a bit more exciting, doesn’t it? Worrying about what could happen? Then again, someone else in the crowd could be worrying about their opponent’s wellbeing. It’s kind of depressing to think about, really.”

Chōmoku
From a young age Chitoku was implanted with preserved eyes of deceased clansmen all over his body. Coverage includes both his arms (5 on each arm), torso (9 eyes), and back (7 eyes) effectively granting him a 360 degree field of vision when his chest is uncovered and a plethora of eyes to use as visual triggers for certain genjutsu. When all but his arms are covered there are small pockets of the field which only fall into his peripheral vision.

This gift comes at a price, as he is more susceptible to seeing visual triggers himself or having the soft tissues of the eye damaged. In case of being blinded, covered eyes can be uncovered to provide sight as well, although the more eyes that are blinded or damaged the less coverage he has with line of sight.

Homicidal Medicine
Versed in traditional medicine including surgery, Chitoku can provide conventional first aid treatments to the wounded and practice medicine in general. Knowledge of the human body also grant him insights on vulnerable parts of anatomy and a deeper understanding of pain as well.

Exceptional Chakra Control
Compared to most shinobi of his grade, Chitoku's chakra control is exceptional. He is able to conserve a good deal of energy with his jutsu usage which allows him in turn to use more jutsu over time. His control is precise enough to channel complicated illusions and medical chakra as well.

[attr="class","snikki109"]Going to watch the chunin exams as an academy student was something Saito didn't think would be possible. Sure each exam before now had been in different villages, but normally he wasn't even allowed out of the village himself. Maybe it was because it was hosted in Nohara no Kuni this year or maybe it was because he got a few escorts with him this time, but whatever the reason Saito would get to watch and this made him extremely happy. [break][break]

This particular fight he was currently watching though involved a cousin of his by the name of Kumori. Though they were cousins and he knew of them by name he never actually met the woman before probably because he was attached to the hip to his brother Kaito most of the time only being pulled away occasionally such as right now or when he had special training with Taka. So he didn't have a special bond with cheering for her on, but he wanted to support his family as much as possible so he would root for her.[break][break]

Sitting next to another cousin of his, and his chaperone for this event, Yua. She seemed very eager to take Saito out to watch these exams and while Saito didn't know how she did it he appreciated the fact she was able to get permission from the Kusa Lord surprised and pleased the youth. Now normally a very boisterous person when it came to owning the spotlight Saito knew these exams were to highlight the genin participating so he wouldn't steal the spotlight from them by acting out his dramatics he held. Instead, he remained fairly quiet overall letting the world around him fly by instead of flying by the world itself.

With all of her attention going to her cousins it was little wonder Yua hadn’t even noticed the curious individual on her other side. "Hell yeah, that’s my cousin, she’s awes- woah, damn are those tattoos?” The shorter genin glanced up at the man that spoke up, somewhat curious about his appearance. Upon a more focused look she realised things might be a lot more literal than she’d initially thought, which caused her to nod her head, impressed. "Damn, medical knowledge really is impressive out here.”

Yua refocused on what the man was actually saying, "Hmm? Nah. I know how many medics they got sitting in the wings. She’s got the home field advantage and, like I was trying to say, she’s amazing! Look at how she uses that massive blade! Even that mobile kid is struggling to break her guard! You watch. Any second now she’ll break through. Come on Kumori!!” she was back at it, screaming out in excitement and blocking the view of the poor people behind her in her.

"Come on Saito! You gotta cheer too!” the girl nudged at her younger cousin playfully as she sat back down, not aware how much fun he was having just quietly sitting there and getting to watch things. "Look, you can learn all sorts of things by watching other’s fight too. Even that kid has skills you could try and learn if you wanted to.” Yua was really just trying to draw her younger cousin into a conversation. Any excuse to get to know her family members better.

"I suppose it makes sense you aren’t worried, I’ve heard that Nohara no Kuni has its fair share of medical shinobi,” he said. "That’s part of the reason I came out this way, really. A chance to see some high level medical techniques would be handy for my studies.”

He laughed into his hand. "Pardon me, it probably sounds like I am rooting for bad things to happen. I’m sure everything will be just fine.”

Then, he turned a stray eye towards the person on her opposite side. They were here together based on the context clues. It was strange to see young village shinobi, they were usually kept cloistered in their nests. Part of him was jealous of the resources they had, but the other grateful for his freedom.

"Sorry, didn’t mean to intrude,” he said. "Enjoy the showing.”

Ayane was running behind getting back, and he didn’t want to leave her lost too long. This wasn’t the kind of place where her tendency to borrow things without asking would be appreciated. He stood and gave an informal wave to the two strangers before making his way into the crowds.
