(As requested, I will be taking over NPC duties for this thread. Seeing as you guys are just about at the end of your required posts needed to finish, I will wrap things up for you and you should be able to proceed with Mission Completion. )

The groups efforts were proving to be of a more explosive nature, but considering how things began, it was perhaps the most poetic way in which to conclude it. With the gator finding itself peppered with explosives and even finding a direct blast connecting to it's face, the creature would be interrupted from taking it's revenge against the prospector, leading it to find it's presence now in more danger than previously believed. Though it seemed almost aggressive in it's approach, holding it's ground as though ready to charge, the beast would seem to accept that the situation was no longer worth it's time or effort, proceeding to leave as it began to waddle off to the side. Though it was perhaps a temporary solution, the creature would no longer be a hinderance to the expedition and would perhaps take this as a sign that it's stay was no longer a welcomed one.

"Serves that blasted creature right! Ya better get on out of here! Ya scaly bastard!!"

As the old miner would shake his fist, he'd find the Special Jounin assisting in raising him to his feet, prompting the man to scoff before pulling his arm away before then shooting looks towards the group.

"You shinobi should have blown that critter sky high! All its gonna do is keep on comin back!"

"Perhaps, but it may have simply been attempting to secure it's territory and this was a display of dominance...at the very least, it will not be a bother so long as you respect it's borders..."

"Hmph! Mankind inherited this earth! Ain't no way we gotta respect it's lesser beings!"

That said, the old man would then shuffle off, likely preparing to secure their belongings to prepare to once again find his claim.

Watching him go, the SP Jounin would sigh before rubbing the back of his head with a frown.

"What a sad...strange little man..."

Looking back to the others, the older male would then smile as he nodded his head.

"But your efforts were more than capable and while he may not have shown appreciation, I imagine that those that work with him do. Well done..."

[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Sukikyo's grin stretched from ear to ear, heart racing from the adrenaline rush of the encounter. "Did you see that?" he exclaimed, bouncing on the balls of his feet as he glanced between Akari and Sogo. "That was wild! You guys were awesome out there!"

He moved his hands excitedly, punching at the air, almost reenacting the battle. "I mean, we totally outsmarted that lizard! Explosive tags? Perfect plan, Sogo. And Akari, man, you were fearless! Standing your ground like that... wowzers!"

Sukikyo's excitement showed no signs of calming down as he kicked at a loose pebble on the ground. "I knew this mission was gonna be epic, but that was next-level stuff! I mean, there could have been more exploding, but there's always the next mission." He paused for a moment, thinking. "Though, I wonder if that prospector dude's got it right... Will the gator come back?"

He shrugged off the thought as quickly as it came, his attention shifting toward something much more pressing - celebration. "Well, whatever happens next, we did it! Mission success!" Sukikyo punched the air triumphantly.

"Now that we've dealt with that, what do you guys say we head back home and grab some snacks? Or ramen?" He grinned mischievously, throwing a playful glance at his teammates. "I'm starved, and we've earned it."

Sukikyo began walking, but turned back to see if they were following.

"What do you think?" He let the question hang in the air, leaving the decision in their hands as they made their way back to the village, anticipation of their next adventure already building in his mind.

As a member of the Yutakako Clan, Sūkikyō was born with the ability to combine Katon and Raiton into the explosive element, Bakuton. He's not very precise with his explosions, but they don't lack in power, able to destroy with ease when the boy wants to. He's not a master, but he's rather talented at utilizing the kekkei genkai. Sūkikyō's trained with Bakuton from a very young age and has learned to use it in tandem with his favored taijutsu.

『Speed Demon』

Speed is not an issue for this rambunctious boy. Sūkikyō's speed is nothing to be taken lightly, he has pushed himself physically to be able to outpace opponents. The boy is quick and agile, easily outpacing his peers. Many people have trouble keeping track of Sūkikyō’s movements, as they are ridiculously quick for someone of his age.

[Souzouteki Sogo]

Sogo seems a little unimpressed when the gator leaves, more relieved than anything else, really, when her teammate Sukikyo suddenly bursts with that wild energy again, and the blonde has to wonder if training with this team is going to end up giving her tinnitus. Then again, they'd all just had an actual explosive note blast the air around them, and while they'd been nowhere near as close to the explosion as the gator, it had probably had a bit of an effect on their hearing. This was generally why she preferred to engage with her puppets, rather than explosive notes. Especially since now, she would need to restock on her supplies of ink and paper. She has to admit, though, that Sukikyo makes her flush with pride a little at being told that her explosive notes were a perfect plan. They weren't, but it was certainly nice to hear more praise.

"Yeah, well, next time it comes around, if the miners still have the cash, they can just hire people to make it leave again. Not sure we would've normally been allowed to kill it unless it attacked us directly."

The offer of snacks certainly caused the blonde's stomach to growl, and she rapidly agrees to the idea of getting some food, although she wasn't sure if she wanted ramen or a big tasty Okada burger. She follows after the redhead on his way back to the village, shrugging at the offer, and then smirking at him as she moseys on after.

"Someone's gotta keep ya outta trouble... Or at least scare off trouble ya get into with explosive notes..."

Sogo might even be as dangerous in her idea of adventure as Sukikyo is.

[Minamoto no Akari]

Akari's mind was reeling as Sukikyo's voice cut through the hanging tension waking him up from a state of hyper-focus. He turned to his excited teammate, still astonished by how quickly Sukikyo went from life-and-death adrenaline to bouncing with joy in seconds. Akari let out a small laugh as he shook his head in disbelief.

Yeah, that was intense, he replied with a grin spread across his face. But you were quite wild yourself Sukikyo, dodging those jaws like it was nothing. He then turned toward the blonde. And you Sogo, your timing with those tags were spot on. I swear, that gator didn't know what hit it.

Akari's tense feeling that was built during battle began to soothe away. The sudden silence after all the noise and commotion almost felt surreal. He played the last few moments over and over in his head; the jaws of the gator snapping, the breeze kissing his cheek, and the echo of the explosion that followed after Sogo's tag. Every moment made him feel so alive. It was weird that the sense of danger was kind of arousing.

Sukikyo's mention of food reminded him of how hungry he actually was. He could feel his stomach growling at the thought. Ramen sounds like a plan. Akari agreed as he imagined the steam waving from the warm broth. I need something big after all that. How about we together sit down with a bowl each and make acquaintance of one another. He took a glance at Sogo, who was smirking as she took a step beside them. You're going to want to keep a close eye on Sukikyo. She'll cause more explosions just trying to order.


Akari chuckled, teasingly, as with every step towards the village, a sense of camaraderie settled in. He looked back at the clearing where the gator had retreated and wondered about the prospector's words. Maybe the beast will come back one day, but for now, it was just one more mission chalked off the list. Besides, if it showed up, they'd be ready for it.

Next adventure, huh? Akari said, feeling that familiar flare of excitement creeping back into him. I'm in of course as long as I get some ramen first.
