[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Sukikyo leaned against the worn gate at the edge of Iwagakure, his red hair tousled by the wind, and his eyes scanning the bustling morning crowd for his teammates. His small, wiry frame barely contained his energy as he fiddled with a small pebble between his fingers, tossing and catching it. The excitement of the mission was palpable in his every movement, he was itching to get out of the village again.

He was early, as usual, his restless spirit unable to keep him still for long. Today's mission was particularly thrilling to him: an old mine, untouched and potentially filled with dangers and discoveries, was waiting for them just outside town. Sukikyo had heard stories of the mine from the older shinobi—tales of sparkling minerals and the creatures that guarded them. His heart raced at the thought of what they might find.

Akari and Sogo were due to meet him any moment now. He hadn’t worked much with them, despite being teammates. The hardships of him always being so go-go-go was that he never waited around for his team to have a chance to get together. But there were always fun times like this when they managed to get together to do missions like this.

As he continued to wait, Sukikyo couldn't help but bounce slightly on the balls of his feet, his eyes flickering to every face that passed by, hoping to catch a glimpse of his teammates. The cool morning air did little to chill his heated nerves.

Finally spotting the familiar faces of Akari and Sogo approaching, Sukikyo's face split into a wide, enthusiastic grin. "There you are!" he called out, waving them over. "I've been buzzing like a bee stuck in a jar! You ready to dig into this? Literally?" His laughter rang through the streets, filled with the irrepressible joy of a boy on the brink of a new adventure.

As a member of the Yutakako Clan, Sūkikyō was born with the ability to combine Katon and Raiton into the explosive element, Bakuton. He's not very precise with his explosions, but they don't lack in power, able to destroy with ease when the boy wants to. He's not a master, but he's rather talented at utilizing the kekkei genkai. Sūkikyō's trained with Bakuton from a very young age and has learned to use it in tandem with his favored taijutsu.

『Speed Demon』

Speed is not an issue for this rambunctious boy. Sūkikyō's speed is nothing to be taken lightly, he has pushed himself physically to be able to outpace opponents. The boy is quick and agile, easily outpacing his peers. Many people have trouble keeping track of Sūkikyō’s movements, as they are ridiculously quick for someone of his age.

[Minamoto no Akari]

Today would be Akari's first mission since his promotion to genin as he walked towards Iwagakure's gate. The whole thing was quite odd seeing as he had yet to even meet his teammates in person. All the young samurai he could think of was how much more experienced the other two would be than himself considering they were partnered and promoted long before himself. Suddenly, mid thought Akari could hear a particular voice cutting through the many noises in the busy street. "There you are!" "I've been buzzing like a bee stuck in a jar! You ready to dig into this? Literally?"

To Akari's surprise, the voice speaking to him came from a boy who was much younger than himself. It was in that moment that Akari was no longer worried about too far behind the others. The age gap alone gave him the confidence needed for the mission. Good morning. We've yet to meet, how would you like to be addressed? Akari took the formal approach as he didn't want to get the young shinobi more riled up than he already seemed. I would assume that you've done your research about this mission. If so feed me in on it. I've actually never heard of the place. Akari rubbed the back of his head and cracked a smile of shame. Honestly my family has been quite strict since the death of my former mentor Boshi.

Though he did read into the mission's details Akari had to make sure the others did for the fact he may want to come up strategic in the long game. He could only hope that he didn't come off too serious. Afterall, he did take a liking in the personality of the red head kid. Someone who didn't take everything so seriously could serve as a perfect counterpart for the team.

Akari then waited for the last member of the team to make their acquaintances so that they'd all be familiar with one another. "I think it's time for us all to press forward wouldn't you say so? Akari's mind was set on the mission ahead. He felt that he could learn more about his team when they get into the heat of controversy. As of now his entire focus was success of the mission.

[Souzouteki Sogo]

Sogo sighs as she walks through Iwagakure towards the gated entrance to their village, but that sigh turns into a long yawn that she has to cover her mouth for. Her fingerless gloves pull back away from her face when she's done, her long blonde hair done up in a wild ponytail, as one would expect from the usual Okada. Her outfit was also quite clearly the kind of thing an Okada would normally wear: the top half of a ripped black tank top, along with an oversized belt hugging her waist and solid green pants. The biggest deviations from the typical Okada attire was the stuff only Iwagakure shinobi could wear, such as the nin shoes on her feet, the large scroll that was carried across her lower back, and the weapon pouch strapped to her left thigh, within easy reach of her left hand, should it be necessary.

She ended up being the last one to arrive, seeing both Akari and Sukikyo already standing at the entrance of the village, and she feels a bit sheepish at the fact that she might have ended up being late.

"Sorry fellas, I lost track of the time. My bad."

She frowns a bit when Akari immediately suggests they should get right to the mission, making her feel like both her teammates were the impatient type; fair enough, she felt she was a bit late to get there, but they'd never been on a mission together before. She shrugs and taps at the small empty scrolls strapped to her right leg, wondering if she'll get to use some of the skills she'd learned from her Souzouteki mother in this mission... Granted, she wasn't able to produce the ink animals like most people of her clan, but she was just as skilled at writing and drawing at rapid speeds, allowing her to create Fuuinjutsu seals on the fly. Her puppets would also no doubt be helpful, and she stops tapping on the scrolls as she walks through the gate, following after Akari on the way towards the mission.

"Any case, hope you guys don't mind if I hang back if we get into any kinda combat. I'm a middle range kinda fighter at best."

With the musculature her body has on display, that's probably a bit strange for them both, but in her case, it was absolutely true. Her puppets were best used at a distance.

[Sprinkles]

    As the Genin team waited around, they'd note the town wasn't all that busy, at least not what it likely should have been for a mining area. What they also might have noticed was whoever they were waiting to meet still hadn't shown on for whatever reason. Who they did find however was an older shinobi running up to them looking near out of breath, they'd recognize as a Special Jounin around 22, looking like he just walked out of the "Iwa shinobi" store. Basic headband around his head, a basic jacket, black pants, a few visible pouches. This might have been one of the few shinobi in the world that could hide in plain sight without trying, but for now he was their temporary team leader.

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late. Wait, no you didn't know I was coming uh, surprise!"

    Rubbing at the back of his head embarrassed, the guy looked like he should have been the fresh faced Genin, especially with how he acted.

"Not here to get in your way, but they told me to keep an eye on your guys, or was I supposed to escort you here? Well anyways, I'm here."

    Looking around there was still no prospector, just the four shinobi, and a few folks walking by now and then giving them odd looks.

"Where's the guy you are supposed to meet with?"

"Well, he's not here yet, obviously," he retorted with a playful smirk, tossing the pebble he'd been fiddling with into the air one last time before catching it and pocketing it. "But hey, surprise team leader addition? That's cool. More the merrier."

Turning his attention back to his teammates, Kyo couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement. "So, we're all here now, and though our mystery prospector seems to be playing hide and seek with us, I agree with Akari and say we start heading towards the mine. We can scout the area, get a feel for the place. Maybe our missing man is there, or he will catch up... or not."

He paused, his gaze shifting between Akari and Sogo, trying to gauge their reactions. "And don't worry, Sogo, I get the middle-range fighter thing. I’ll totally cover for you, I’m an up-close-and-personal fighter myself."

With a confident nod to their temporary team leader, Sukikyo gestured towards the direction of the old mine. "Let’s not waste more time. Adventure's a-waiting, and I'm not the type to keep it waiting too long!" His voice carried a boyish enthusiasm, hoping to inspire some camaraderie among the team as they embarked on their adventure together.

[Minamoto no Akari]

Akari adjust the sheath of his sword, making sure all things were set and ready to go. It seems that we are all here now. Let's skip the pleasantries for and make way. We do have a long trip you know. Akari then glanced over at the jonin. Great, you're late, and you're supposed to be the responsible one. He stated blatantly. Anywho I go buy Akari, now what exactly is it of this mission that you may know? Meanwhile I stress that we all should get a move of while you brief us.

Akari then turned toward Sogo with a straight face and nodded. We all have our shortcomings. The places in which we fall short I'm sure another can make up the slack. For the sake of the group, try not to make it too much of a burden. For example, you're supporting me and Sukikyo from a distance could possibly be exactly what we need to keep safe. I prefer closer combat myself but, if need be, I can manage a bit from a distance though I am limited in it.

Akari then opened stride in the direction that the young ginger had pointed earlier and began to set pace. I know next to nothing of what I am about to get myself into, but an order is an order. Can someone, anyone, please feed me in on the details? Akari then glanced back at the jonin that was accompanying the group. You're the one with the most experience here. Do you and have words of motivation or additional tip you're willing give before late?

As he walked, Akari stayed perceptive of his surroundings and was on high alert. This was unlikely the others first mission and he wanted to prove to his teammate that he wasn't going to hold them back and be the one that cause the group to fail the mission. The nerves that he had earlier begin to dwindle due to understanding that they all had a common goal. On top of that, they had somewhat come up with a strategy if combat were to take play.

So, Sukikyo, Akari said as he walked by the him. You seem the most knowledgeable of us so far and should as well add to the details what you deem it. You know, have you heard anything of interest about this mine?

By trying to get Sukikyo to tell a story would keep the conversation light and engaging. Hopefully by the time the team makes it to their destination they would have some type of comradery and trust. Though this is Akari's first mission, he wanted to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Of the trio, Sukikyo seems to be the chatterbox so asking him to tell a story only made the most sense.

[Souzouteki Sogo]

Their apparent leader appears, and Sogo is honestly a bit unimpressed with his appearance, although he's at least older than the three of them. Much older, at least, in Sukikyo's case. Her brow furrows a little as the shortest and seemingly youngest of their group takes the lead, although he's also one of the close-range fighters, so perhaps it makes sense for him to go first. She at least gives the higher ranking shinobi a quick greeting as well, since she was somewhat representing the Okada with the giant belt around her waist, even if it wasn't an "official" champion's belt like some of the more imposing Okada would wear.

"Hiya. Good to meetcha. I'm Sogo. Dunno where this prospector guy is, but it looks like we're already on the move..."

The blonde winces at the young and inexperienced-looking upper rank, then turns and follows after the two teammates that are already on the move towards the mine, apparently. Akari at least introduces himself to the other ninja that's apparently meant to watch over them, although the tall guy is a bit abrasive for her liking. Granted, there were plenty of Okada with a diva complex, although they were usually heels, and they were honestly almost all willing to put aside their prima donna nature in order to put on a good show. She's had to learn a lot of patience when dealing with certain personality types, so Akari didn't get on her nerves all that much in contrast. She even ignores his statement about her having shortcomings easily enough. Sogo isn't sure how he'd handle two puppets and a puppeteer at the same time, but she can't imagine he'd be all that impressive.

For now the focus was on the mission, and their first mission as a full team, and she was ready to go. She'd been doing a bit of training with one of her Okada cousins and their giant monkeys, so she was quite ready to see what she herself could do. She did listen with interest to see what information she could glean from Sukikyo and this stranger that was coming along with them to be something of a chaperone, though.

[Sprinkles]

"Good call, let's head for the mine."

    Their "team leader" looking around squinting.

"Uh, oh this way!"

    Was this guy really a shinobi? Was he really supposed to be leading a team of other shinobi when it seemed he couldn't lead a dog to his food bowl? A few feet in one direction and it was rather obvious it was the wrong way even without having ever been here, as he turned back around without saying a word and pointed, heading the correct direction that the three Genin were already now walking in.

"Motivation? Like go team, or you guys got this? Let's see."

    There was a borderline vacant look on the guys face as he struggled to find the right words. Clearly this guy must have been qualified in some way to be put in this position, even if temporarily, but the more he talked the less obvious it was.

"I got nothing. Oh, is that the guy?"

    There seemed to be a man fitting the exact description of who they were looking for with a shovel slung over one shoulder and a pickaxe over the other, looking like he'd already been in a mine for hours. His face was dirty, his arms covered in dirt and dust, looking impatient.

"Where have you lot been? I told you to meet me here, I gave specific directions."

    He didn't.

"I was very clear to meet me right here almost an hour ago."

    He absolutely wasn't.

"It doesn't matter, come on, we are burning daylight."

    Their team leader had a look on his face like a puppy that just didn't get what was going on in the room as he kept smiling, never not looking like he was happy about whatever it was that was going on.

"Yeah, cool, we'll follow you. Let's go gang."

    The prospector furrowed his eyes as he looked back at their team leader, then at the other three, then back to the team leader again, and gave an exhaling laugh through his nostrils. With a bit of time and a bit of a walk, they would have had a chance to look at the tools of the prospector a bit closer and might have noticed very obvious dried blood on both his shovel and his pick. They were given information on potential aggressive animals, and from the looks of it, it wasn't an assumption nor an exaggeration.

"Some real pissed off gators blocking the way. Somethin' got'em real stirred up."

    No more than a few meters ahead was a hard to miss sight of one laying horizontally across the path, near 4 meters long, already gurgling a growling warning. Not far into the distance they could see the very obvious cave entrance, support beams and a few carts and tools sitting just outside the entrance, but no one else in sight.

"Look at you, ya mean bastard."

    The prospector looked back at the team leader and gave him a look.

"Ya just gonna stand there?"

    With a returned look of confusion, then realization, he stepped forward, before turning back to the Genin.

"You three want to give this a shot? I'll back you up. We probably don't need to kill it but, get it to leave. Can't say I've ever fought a big gator before."

[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Sukikyo nodded vigorously at Akari's inquiry, his red hair bouncing as they strode towards the mine. His eyes sparkled with excitement, and even in the serious conversation, his voice carried a playful undertone. "Oh, about this mine, right? It's got a heap of history, loaded with tales about hidden treasures and, well, dangers too," he began, gesturing animatedly with his hands as they walked.

"The old timers say it's been abandoned for decades because every time they tried to reopen it, some wild creature or other disturbances chased them away. Last time it was giant spiders. Some say it's cursed, others think it’s just bad luck or animals protecting their territory." Sukikyo glanced at his teammates, his smile turning mischievous. "And today, we’re gonna find out which it is!"

As they approached the vicinity of the mine, the talk of gators from the prospector didn't surprise Sukikyo as much as it seemed to trouble their inexperienced team leader. "Aha! So the stories might be true then!" he exclaimed, clenching his fists in excitement. "But no worries, we've got this, team. For the gator, I've got a couple of ideas."

Sukikyo quickly shifted into strategic mode - or an excited version of it. "First, we could try luring it away with some bait. Something big and meaty might do the trick. If that doesn’t work, we could use a distraction. Maybe some explosive tags to startle it enough to move it out of the path. Boom!"

Turning to their temporary team leader, Sukikyo's tone was respectful yet clearly taking charge of the strategy. "And if our plans A and B fall through, maybe you can step in with some heavier jutsu? Just to scare ‘em, not to harm the big guys too much."

Sukikyo clapped his hands together, a spark of leadership evident in his stance. "Alright, team, let’s get to it! We'll make it to that mine and uncover its secrets yet. Everyone ready to roll?"

[Minamoto no Akari]

Akari was quite surprised at how much energy that Sukikyo put forth in his words. Plan doesn't sound bad at all Sukikyo, but where exactly will we find his bait that you speak of? Akari then looked around at everyone win the group. He noticed that of the bunch he himself was likely the big and meaty bait Sukikyo had in mind. Suddenly Akari's face turned blue, a shiver ran down his spine, and he suddenly wasn't feeling so well. You know what? Maybe we should just start with plan be and see where it goes from there.

Akari then turned to Sogo as he remembered her saying that she's more of a mid-distance combatant. Say Sogo, you wouldn't just happen to have any explosive tags on you, wouldn't ya? He continued. We could try setting off some explosions to perhaps scare the gator away. Finishing the statement off with a shrug. The plan was a long shot considering what could happen if the explosions were too close to the mine. Or..... Akari glanced over at the prospector. I see that you have you have your supplies on hand. I wouldn't assume that you're going to work without packing a lunch. Soooo... A slight pause. Do you have any bait in that bag? Akari was trying to think of anything that wouldn't put himself in immediate danger.

Moments later as the group was nearing the mine destination, Akari took a deep breath as he had gathered enough courage. If push comes to shove, I'll be the one doing the distraction. Akari thought about his late sensi Boshi whom had died on the battlefield with pride. It actually wouldn't sit right with me if I were to risk the health or lives of either of you. Afterall, My loyalty shant be broken, my spirit is indomitable, for I am protector of Iwagakure. That is my nindo way.

[Souzouteki Sogo]

Sogo is starting to feel like their chaperone isn't actually all that competent, and she mentally wonders at how he might have become a higher rank, but she puts it out of her mind for now. At the very least, he's a body that might be able to help them if things get really serious; the Tsuchikage had to have seen something that made him worthy of the higher rank. In any case, the discussion about gators blocking the path ahead, although when they reach said location, it seems that the number of gators was exaggerated as well; it's only a single gator, and she actually feels a bit disappointed. Despite its size, it wasn't exactly big enough to be much of a man-eater. What was a gator doing in such an arid location anyways? Maybe there was some lake nearby that the gator had wandered away from...

The other members of her team seem interested in the idea of baiting the gator away with some form of bait, or perhaps scaring it off with an explosion of some kind that would keep it from coming back. Neither one really strikes Sogo as likely to be effective, especially, as Akari stated, because they didn't really have anything that they could actually use as bait to lure it away. There was also the fact that an explosion would probably kill the gator. Granted, that was technically a solution, but one that would probably not make anyone here none too happy with the results.

"I mean, yeah, I got some regular explosive notes. Do you wanna be cleanin' gator guts outta yer hair? The usual explosive notes are used for demolition, ya know?"

The question was more rhetorical than literal, but when Akari also exclaims his ninja way, she simply stares at him after he'd offered him up as being potential bait to lure the gator away. She hoped his nindo didn't often involve literally making himself bait, or his ninja career might end up being very short. She doesn't say as much, but Sogo certainly thinks it with more than a bit of cynicism. She sighs and then considers all their options. She does have the ability to make her own explosive tags, so perhaps she could make some that are slightly weaker, by infusing it with less chakra than the kind normally used for demolition purposes. She pulls out one of the ten blank tags she often carries with her, along with a fuuinjutsu brush, rapidly writing out a seal and infusing it with only a bit of her chakra.

With the seal created, she folds it together and, with a bit more chakra, ignites it before tossing it out ahead of their entire group so that the explosive notes flutters in the wind and then explodes with more of a loud pop right next to the gator's body, hopefully sending it scurrying in the opposite direction.

    The "team leader" stayed behind the three shinobi listening to them talk, not adding a single word this time around as he watched the three of them strategize. Despite the way he acted, he was confident enough he could pretty easily deal with a single gator if his hand was forced, but that would defeat the purpose of letting the other three attempt.

    The prospector however was somewhere between impatient and bored as he walked a bit closer to the gator as the animal gave a gurgling growl and snapped in his direction.

"Pissed off someth'n fierce"

    Shaking his head towards the mentioning of his lunch, he just scoffed.

"I ain't giving this scaly bastard my food. If he's hungry he can eat this."

    Reaching into a pack hanging at his hip he pulled out a single stick of dynamite, which quite frankly was incredibly stupid and dangerous to even be carrying like that, but it was unlikely any of the others knew that. Throwing it in the air and spinning it, he caught it and put it back into his pack.

    The gator suddenly growled as the explosive tag went off but it didn't move. The prospector however almost fell over as he wasn't expecting it, turning around shooting all four shinobi a dirty look. just as the gator suddenly opened its jaws and went charging right at the prospector who was facing away. The animal didn't run away, but instead had gotten angry at the explosion and charged right at them.

[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Sukikyo's reflexes kicked in as the gator charged. With a shout of alarm, he darted forward. "Look out!" he called, aiming to intercept the gator before it reached the prospector.

Sukikyo launched himself into a series of rolling maneuvers, lighting his limbs up with sparks and fire, trying to draw the gator's attention towards himself and away from the prospector.

"Plan C it is!" Sukikyo shouted back to his teammates, his voice ringing with excitement. The young ninja reached for a few kunai, each one lined with explosive tags. He launched them to explode near it, creating a series of loud bangs and flashes to scare it away from the prospector and his teammates.

As the kunai flew, Sukikyo looked over his shoulder, signaling to Sogo and Akari. "Time to back me up!"

The explosive kunai detonated in a sequence of small blasts, sending up clouds of dust and debris around the gator. Sukikyo didn't stop; he knew they needed to keep the pressure on. He ignited his limbs with explosive sparks, lunging forward with an excited whoop to aim a punch at the snout of the gator.

The atmosphere was tense, filled with the sharp scent of sulfur. The situation had escalated quickly, but Sukikyo's spirits were high. This was the kind of challenge he thrived on - unpredictable and dynamic, just like the old tales that he loved so much. Together, they could handle this and anything else the mine threw at them.

As a member of the Yutakako Clan, Sūkikyō was born with the ability to combine Katon and Raiton into the explosive element, Bakuton. He's not very precise with his explosions, but they don't lack in power, able to destroy with ease when the boy wants to. He's not a master, but he's rather talented at utilizing the kekkei genkai. Sūkikyō's trained with Bakuton from a very young age and has learned to use it in tandem with his favored taijutsu.

『Speed Demon』

Speed is not an issue for this rambunctious boy. Sūkikyō's speed is nothing to be taken lightly, he has pushed himself physically to be able to outpace opponents. The boy is quick and agile, easily outpacing his peers. Many people have trouble keeping track of Sūkikyō’s movements, as they are ridiculously quick for someone of his age.

[Minamoto no Akari]

To Akari's surprise, Sukikyo burst into action, his evident love of the moment distracting from the really dangerous parts. Plan C it is! Sukikyo shouted, and the adrenaline in Akari's system kicked up a notch. Stay sharp, he thought. As this situation escalated, he'd better stay in the moment and focus. The velociraptor was about to charge Sukikyo, of all people. Just in front of that insane death trap, things were happening fast. Sogo had already shown how smart she could be with the explosive tag, but that alone was not going to save them. Akari's thoughts were a jumbled mess even as he put together the start of Plan D. We need to keep the pressure on! he told himself as he watched Sukikyo throw kunai lined with explosive tags.

Don't worry, Sukikyo! I've got this! Akari yelled, sprinting ahead to lend aid to his comrade. He had a couple of shuriken handy to create more diversions. The last thing he wanted was for the gator to regain its focus on the prospector or any of them. He was happy to be a decoy. Keep moving! Don't let it corner you! he yelled, as he threw one of the shuriken. As he looked back over his shoulder at this gator, Akari remembered that alligators could run surprisingly fast.

The alligator was now agitated and bellowing in response to the explosions and the multitude of flung objects. Its attention was evenly split between Sukikyo and the incoming projectiles. Akari could just about sense the tension in the air, but he didn't stop to reflect on it. If only I can find a way to keep it off balance, maybe then we can find a way to counterattack. Akari thought.

Once again placing himself ahead of the danger, Akari was willing to sacrifice in order to protect both the prospector and Shogo. Stay back! he yelled, positioning himself between the gator and his comrades. From his point of view, it looked as if the prospector was afraid but knew that Akari would do his best in keeping everyone safe.

Sogo, can you fix another tag? We need to create a distraction! Also, Sukikyo, try to get it to focus its attention on you, I'll help you from the side. Then the crocodile attempted to launch at Akari only for him to maneuver in a way that he barely dodges its mouth. She powerful snap of the crocs jaws released a backdraft of wind that left his heart pounding. So close. Hurray let's circle it in! Together we can get it to moved back! Akari yelled in hope that the others would follow the plan. Sogo when I signal, throw the tag. Akari watched the crocodile carefully observing its movements as its eyes move back and forth choosing its next victim. At the very moment of the crocs next movement Akari shouted. Now! Pointing at Sogo to fire the next tag.

[Souzouteki Sogo]

Sogo starts to pull out the giant scroll when she sees that the gator is charging anyway and Akari and Sukikyo literally place themselves in direct danger in order to protect the prospector, already thinking up how she's going to take care of the gator once and for all, since it didn't take the warning as well as it should have and left... but then Akari asks her if she can fix another tag, and she grumbles a bit, but obediently replaces the scroll on her lower back.

"Yeah, I'm on it!"

She draws out another blank sealing tag instead and rapidly writes the inscription for the explosive seal on it, more quickly than most would be capable of doing, even in her own level of expertise, though she also takes a moment to write down another tag that she can use with just one of her puppets in case this plan C of theirs doesn't work, but she makes sure it won't activate until she's ready to make use of it. She follows Akari and Sukikyo into position, keeping herself just out of reach of its jaws while waiting for Akari's signal.

When the redhead shouts and points at her, she throws the tag directly at the gator, allowing the small explosion to blast it right in the face. It might do enough damage and it could even blind it, which should hopefully force it to escape rather than continue trying to fight many larger creatures than itself and with clearly more sophisticated weaponry than claws or fangs, the kinds of weapons a giant gator like this would be accustomed to. She's still somewhat prepared to draw out her large scroll and bring out her hare puppet if things go south from here, at least as a back-up plan.
