Moment MusicThe world was an interesting place when it came down to it. It was filled with it's short comings and flaws certainly, but it didn't cease to have many of it's amazing aspects as well.
As she stood upon the great wall that surrounded the village, Arashi would take in the sight of the vastness of the area, allowing her a moment to be taken in by it, her hands resting within the pockets of her jacket before then looking downward as she jumped along the ridges of the wall. Each block seemed to stand the test of time, allowing for it to form the barrier that defended this place for so long, yet so effortlessly manage to keep itself sustained by nothing more than sheer will. Or perhaps patience in keeping it's foundation in tact by those in charge of such things.
Upon reaching the surface, she'd make her way towards the gate as she passed through it with the check point, ensuring that she showed her headband before entering the village and moving through it.
It had been quite the year...though despite the changes, Sunagakure seemed to remain the same. Or at least, most of it did. Under Lord Kiyoshi, things were progressing to a new high. Security was improved to a point, but that was her job, and it showed with very few incidents that caused for alarm. It was mostly quiet.
Though that perhaps was what bothered her...
She was no closer to getting her own answers in regards to Amaya, but perhaps that was for the best as it would mean having to try and seek permission to pursue. Of course, the woman had likely gone into hiding after their last encounter. With less of an army at her hands, she'd be less dangerous sure, but there was still the concern of her ability to manipulate her seal.
But the quiet thoughts of her mind and acceptance of this allowed for the young woman to get a breath.
Yet, it was then that she found herself drifting and then falling asleep.
As she opened her eyes, she'd find the horrors of what laid before her, the village in ruins and blood covering her. Horror crossed her face before then seeing bodies and more of them becoming familiar as she then released a scream.
-------------
It was at that point that she'd jolt upright, her eyes closed before feeling her hair flutter across her face. Looking around her, she'd see she was in her room, looking towards the sun before then groaning as she allowed herself to slowly rise up to meet to sun.
"Damn it.."
The nightmare had proven more to her than just that she was still bothered by this mystery, it was that quiet never felt too quiet as far as her mind was concerned.
---------
After getting herself together, the young Jounin would then prepare to take her pack out for their walk, only to receive a message from a hawk as it fluttered down to her location. Opening the scroll within it's talon, the bird would disappear back into the sky, leaving her to read it's letter with a narrowed expression.
"Oh fuck..."
Rushing outward, she'd begin to make her way towards the hospital, her canines moving behind her as she moved into the streets.

He won't be the same after this....
Arashi would stand outside her friends door, looking at his sleeping form as she noted his removed arm.
"Any reports on the people that did this?"
"We're still looking into it....We had assumed that his actions were being relegated to certain parts of Sekara, but we didn't realize that one of the groups in Sekara had decided enough was enough..."
"I wanna know who...."
"Yes ma'am...."
Looking back towards Zakku as she crossed her arms, she'd then release a breath before then shaking her head as she made her way down the hall.
"Make sure he's well taken care of....and...sorry about the nose doc...."
"Well...hes stubborn to say the least....do you know if...he has anyone else to look after him?"
Closing her eyes, Arashi would then shake her head before looking back to the older male as she then nodded. Zakku had no other family save for his parents, and with them gone...what was left for him?
"Yea...me....Keep me informed on his progress...and I'll ensure that he's taken care of when he's released..."
In hearing this, the older male would then nod as Arashi would then turn back around as she sat down by shinobi's door, releasing a sigh as she then shook her head.
"Just what the hell were ya doin Zak?"
