[attr="class","reskullbody"]So many shinobi gathered in a single place sounded like a great opportunity. While Jin was given two different sections to help out in they couldn't have been so far apart from each other in objectives. The first was more of a rescue mission on boats. At the same time, this one was a mission where they needed to map out the area while being in dangerous conditions and wildlife that could be dangerous. His first mission was a bit safer and something he was more accustomed to from when he was a genin this section was going to be a lot more difficult and if he wasn't careful enough more deadly. This is probably why the group he was assigned with was from different nations to help ensure they would all be able to return to their respective villages.[break][break]

Reaching the meeting point, which was a lot more active than the original starting point the air spouts that were mapped by a previous team weren't that far off from their meeting point. Using the information they got from the other team the group would move further towards the crash site to explore and report the new layout. Looking at his two teammates he would be undergoing this mission with, a male shinobi from Yukigakure and a female shinobi from Kirigakure, he would give them both a bright smile and ask, "You all ready for this?"

[Suzuki Taru]

The sky was falling down, down, down, a star from the heavens burning up the air and plummeting to the earth in Hot-Springs Country. It had left a wicked scar upon the land. The nature spirits were crying out in fear - Taru was sure of that. There was no other reason for this kind of elemental agony to wake, to lash across the terrain.

The nature had been corrupted; the animal life in the area had been corrupted. This made Taru, a girl known for her talent in calming animals, a decent fit for a mission deep into the elemental zones.

Still, they'd entered a frightening area! Wind was constantly buffeting them, her hair billowing about her in a mess, as she looked up at the treacherous cliffs ahead. At least riding the wind would be kind of fun?

Taru looked to her two teammates, giving Jin a carefree smile right back even though she was feeling more serious than usual.

"I'm ready, I'm ready," she hummed, doing a little twirl. "I'm Suzuki Taru and I'm good with animals and aim."

She pointed up at the sky, high, high above them. There were large birds up there, riding the wind so comfortably it was almost hard to believe, swooping in neat formations.

"Keep an eye out for those. They might try to knock us off the cliffs for an easy meal."

[Hokkyokusei Kasasagi]

It had been a number of years since Hokkyokusei Kasasagi had ventured out of his home country to undertake a mission. It would be a lie to say that the voyage over from Yuki no Kuni had been free from trepidation, but upon making landfall, his stress had reduced somewhat. He had a task to focus upon and that meant that he could turn his conscious mind entirely to it. His subconscious would be quiet. Its worries and concerns had been set aside in pursuit of the greater good, all hands were needed, and even his comparatively small village would not leave the land of hot springs wanting. At least the nature of the mission was within his skill set. Scouting was what he specialised in, even if the nature of the land was entirely foreign to him. The wind and animals would no doubt prove to be the true danger, but there was no time for fear or worry. The Earth would provide, and the stars shone just as brightly here as they did back home. His companions were from Iwagakure and Kirigakure, allied nations. At least he would not need to worry about betrayal from the Leaf or the Cloud. "Ready as I’ll ever be, thank you for asking” Kasasagi’s voice was soft when compared to the excited humming of the twirling girl or the smiling query of the boy. As if aware of this, Kasasagi offered a small smile, "Hokkyokusei Kasasagi, I’m something of a scout and wilderness specialist. Although, the Stars alone know how this land will fair.” Looking at the birds, he nodded, "Good point and good eye.” "Well, no time like the present, shall we?”

[attr="class","reskullbody"]Jin was happy to see his companions working on this mission with him, and they were friendly. While he could work with grumps being the sunshine for them when needed having others who seemed quite chipper felt like a good thing as it meant they could run off each other's energies and work well together. So to say he was getting pumped up to be working with these two was an understatement. When they both introduced themselves and spoke of their specialty Jin felt a tinge of kinship to them. "I'm Yasuda Jin and I am both a sensor shinobi and a weapon specialist." Jin would pull out two sections of his life blade, the other two still attached to his sides, and spread the two fans out to show what kind of weapon they were.[break][break]

He would quickly put them back though as it wasn't fully necessary to have them out just yet, but the comment about the birds above and took the warning to heart. Then the Yukigakure shinobi would ask if they should get started to which Jin would energetically say, "Yes let's!" He would then begin leading the way forward using his senses to keep an eye out for any beasts or civilians with a chakra signature so they would know where they needed to go.
