Hayano Sarutobi is a slender, serious-looking 10-year-old girl with a composed, almost stoic demeanor that contrasts with the typical energy of someone her age. She has long, sleek black hair tied into a simple but practical ponytail, with a few loose strands framing her face. Her most striking feature is the black eye patch she wears over her right eye, hiding the scar left from the traumatic injury she sustained at age six. Her remaining right eye is dark and sharp, often focused with a level of intensity that seems out of place for a young Academy Student.

Her outfit consists of a traditional black hakama and a simple white robe, paired with a dark arm sleeve on her left side that covers the space where her sleeve should be, symbolizing the missing part of her identity. She also carries a wooden practice sword strapped to her side, always within reach as she prepares for the rigorous shinobi training that lies ahead. Despite her young age, her posture and bearing suggest a maturity and resolve beyond her years, reflecting her inner strength and determination to overcome the loss of her eye.

HISTORY

Hayano Sarutobi was born 10 years ago to Soren Sarutobi and Yumi Saeko. Her father, Soren, was a Chuunin from Konohagakure and her mother was a native of the land of wind. Her mother and father had met on a diplomatic mission to the Hidden Sand village. They were smitten almost immediately. Yumi was no shinobi, and so she left Sunagakure and her family to go live in Konoha with Soren after then had married. The Sarutobi clan welcomed her with open arms and treated her as if she was one of their own.

After a couple of years, Soren and Yumi would welcome in their only child, Hayano. She was a beautiful little girl and was loved by her parents and grand parents. Born with a tuff of jet black hair, she had her mother's facial features but her fathers hair and eyes. Her grandfather, Toshen, was one of the elders of the Sarutobi clan and doted on her relentlessly. When she was just 2 years old, her parents and grandparents even had her sign the Monkey summoning contract of the Sarutobi clan as to better protect her and ensure that she would always be apart of the clan.

Hayano and her father had a special bond; a bond that her own mother grew to envy and hate in time. Her father could always make her laugh and smile no matter how bad she felt. They would often go on daddy-daughter trips and spend time with one another. It was on one of these trips that her father, now a Special Jounin within the ANBU, was violently attacked by a mysterious stranger. Hayano didn't see the stranger's face; just his eyes. It was during this attack that, weather by accident or deliberate, Hayano was struck across the face. Her eye was destroyed. Her father had been taken by surprise and had done everything to defend his daughter. That was not enough to save him. Although mortally wounded, he managed to kill the Uchiha clansman. Before dying, Soren took the eye of the Uchiha and, using medical ninjutsu, replaced Hayano's eye with the Uchiha's Sharingan and bandged her up. Hayano had passed at some point before the procedure but not before she told her daddy that she loved him.

When Hayano awoke the next morning, she had a bandage over he eye and was being tended to by an old woman. The old woman said a stranger had brought her in and had already bandaged her up. The old woman was instructed to get Hayano back to Konohagakure safely and was left instructions on how to care for her wound. Little did Hayano realize, her father took her to saftey before he died; doing all he could in his final moments to ensure his daughter was safe.

Hayano went back to Konohagakure to her mother and her grandparents. Hayano explained what happened, little did she know that this whole ordeal was arranged by the ANBU of Konohagakure and her own mother; this is a fact she still is unaware of. Yumi had lied to the higher-ups within the ANBU that Soren was a traitor and had been leaking classified secrets to their enemies in other nations. It turned out that Yumi's jealousy of her husband's relationship with their daughter incited so much hatred that it drove her to fabricate a lie about her husband and set him up to die, branded a traitor. This was why Konoha sent an ANBU assasin to deal with Soren, however, Hayano was an unintended victim of the attack. Satisfied that Soren was dead, little else was said about what had happened. Hayano still doesn't know that her father was killed by the very village he swore to serve and protect, based on a lie.

As neither Hayano nor Yumi were shinobi, Yumi decided to leave Konohagakure and moved back to her home country in the Land of Wind. Hayano, deciding to follow in her father's footsteps, begged her mother to attend the ninja academy. Reluctantly, Yumi agreed to allow her daughter to train within Suna's Academy. Hayano is now in her last year and is ready to start her career as a shinobi.

FIGHTING STYLE

Despite only having one eye (most of the time), Hayano is a very skilled individual who favors adaptation and a wide diverse skill set to get her through a fight. Not relying on any one singular style of combat, Hayano likes to be able to adapt and adjust to her opponents and to develop her skill set over a wide variety of techniques. Although she has much to learn still, her basic concepts of controlling the fight through superior strategy is still her favorite tactic.

Her control of the implanted sharingan within her right eye is very rudimentary at best and tends to not rely on it until she can get full mastery over it; only ever using the Sharingan in times of desperate need.

Implanted Sharingan - 2 Tomoe
Hayano Sarutobi possesses a 2 Tomoe Sharingan implanted into her right eye by a rogue Uchiha who killed her father when she was six years old. As a result, Hayano gained access to many of the powerful abilities typically associated with the Uchiha clan, but with significant drawbacks. The 2 Tomoe Sharingan enhances her awareness, allowing her to read an opponent’s movements and react with heightened reflexes. It also grants her access to basic Sharingan Genjutsu, giving her the ability to cast illusions on those who meet her gaze. However, these abilities come with great costs.

Since Hayano is not of Uchiha blood, using the Sharingan drains her chakra at a much higher rate than it would for a true Uchiha. As a result, she has to be careful not to overuse its powers, as prolonged activation could leave her exhausted and vulnerable. Unlike natural Uchiha, who can activate and deactivate their Sharingan at will, Hayano’s implanted Sharingan is always active, forcing her to keep it covered with an eye patch to prevent continuous chakra depletion. This limitation impacts her daily life, reducing her depth perception when the Sharingan is covered.

In battle, Hayano must be extremely strategic about when to uncover her Sharingan. She only reveals it in crucial moments, relying on its ability to predict her opponent’s movements and amplify her reflexes when she needs it most. Though still an Academy student, her Sharingan gives her a dangerous edge, but she must constantly balance its powerful abilities with the risk of draining her chakra too quickly. At her young age, the 2 Tomoe Sharingan is both a gift and a burden, a reminder of the tragic circumstances under which it was implanted.

Couple of things here Chaos.

First, please include the year Hayano was born- since she's 10, that would be 1014.

Secondly, I am going to need you to expand on just how she received her Implanted Sharingan; it says in your history that her father fought a rogue Uchiha with a Sharingan, but there is no mention of how Hayano actually got her own implanted into her. Finally, I would like Uchiha Miroru, Gurē Reiashi, and Oonakayama Arashi's input on not only the Sarutobi out of village slot, but the Implanted Sharingan being within an ally of Konoha as a whole.

I made the edits you requested. I will say that Hayano still has no idea who or why she has the implant. She refuses to believe that it's the same eye as the person who killed her father. I had planned on making this a future plot point for her and tie in her mother into this tragedy.

I can understand wanting there to be a mystery IC, but there needs to be sufficient IC justification in the app itself for something like this, which... isn't here at the moment. I really am going to need more than just "it happened and she doesn't believe it was the dude who killed her father."

Well to get me pointed in the right direction, what would constitute as a sufficient IC justification for the rouge Uchiha implanting his own eye into her? My thoughts were along the lines of the fact she was an unintentional bystander and he felt a great deal of guilt for taking her father in front of her AND harming her in the process, so he felt giving her his own eye to replace her's that he took from her was some sort of 'apology' or 'compensation'. Would that suffice?

It would be a lot easier to stomach if the father killed the Uchiha and implanted his Sharingan into Hayano to replace her eye before dying of his wounds than to say that the Uchiha did it himself, but that's just the first part of the problem here. We'll have to wait on the leaders replies to determine what else needs changing in the history, but I can't imagine Belnor Kaze being ok with having one of Konoha's biggest allies harboring a secret implanted sharingan user.

I'd like to invite you to DM me if this is a plot point you'd like to keep quiet. The Sand village IS a close ally, so the scenario seems not entirely beyond plausibility, but I'm finding myself struggling to reconcile "was sent to kill Dad" and "donated his eye" on the part of the assassin. Most of the reasons I can imagine for sending someone to execute an expat Leaf shinobi would also disqualify the idea of donating one of Uchiha/Konoha's greatest treasures to their six year old kid, accidental disfigurement and close ally or not.

I can't answer for the Leaf or the Sand heads, but I'd need some more insight into this plot to sign off on this as currently written. I'm also up for workshopping other ideas that might work better! Like maybe having the father win the fight but get mortally wounded and arrange for the transplant? I'd still want to know the story behind why an Uchiha assassin was dispatched, though!

So information is leaked to Konoha framing Dad as a traitor, Konoha dispatches the Uchiha to kill him, things go sideways, Uchiha is killed but mortally injures dad, who then arranges for implantation of the eye into Hayano on his deathbed to replace her lost eye. Hayano grows up none the wiser with a cool eyeball. AND since she's with a close ally, it's not the WORST thing in the world that she has it (though the clan is going to keep a close eye on Hayano to ensure she doesn't grow up opposing the village's interests "like her father.").

So similar to Threnody, I also welcome some DM for context into the mother's origins as being a member of the village and seeing as they aren't a shinobi, just who they are to allow for such reasonings to be needed for a diplomatic meeting save for beyond love at first sight.(Which seems to be implied here)

We have a various clans in which to choose from in which to help this become more plateable such as the Saeko which are nomadic and would likely make sense for possible extension of diplomacy due to their ties to Kaze no kuni and as close allies to Sunagakure. Or even the Warai would be a possible option as well considering their position as nomadic.

Save for that, I would see no issue in allow for a transition into Sunagakure so long as Uchiha Clan requirements have been met and also Konohagakure leadership is fine with this.

So after rereading the History with all the added changes, I won't lie- I was still on the fence about this. The part about her mother being the one to get her father killed is somewhat of a stretch imo, as is the part where Konoha just... lets the girl go, apparently without ever learning of her eye. However, since the Uchiha head, the Hokage, and the Kazekage have all signed off on this, I am willing to give this my tentative approval.

History: Hayano was born 10 years ago, but then she was born again a couple of years after her parents married. Maybe adjust the first line of history to be a couple of years before her birth for continuity's sake. The assassination attempt on her father feels a bit rushed in a way maybe have a bit more buildup for it. The Saeko are a big believer in familial bonds so her mother becoming jealous of the two relationship feels a bit out of character from someone of the clan. This can be solved with some buildup where you expand on her growing emotions and maybe even the two having a sort of argument about how to raise Hayano that could lead to her sending someone to kill her husband. The reason you put, it in paragraph five, should probably be introduced before the actual incident happened in her history so there is a sequence of events to make it seem more logical. We also need to discuss the outcomes of everything that transpired. The anbu would double-check the information given so Yumi would need to have proof of her husband being a traitor and even then the village would most likely keep a strong eye on Yumi and her child after the incident due to Yumi being an outsider of the village, to begin with. So you will need a good reason for her to return to Suna without being watched or forced to stay in Konoha.[break][break]

Why did the father take the eye of the Uchiha and implant it into Hayano when he could have used his energy to keep himself alive for his daughter's sake? A more believable idea would be he took the eye for himself and survived the ordeal only to give it to her later down the line, but that would stop them from going to Suna. Even if we take this out though the fact a Uchiha would be found with a missing eye means the clan would be searching for who has the eye and Hayano would be one of those suspects so her returning to Konoha to be with her mother would be very dangerous for her. If you want this sequence of events to happen you might want them to happen outside of the village at the very least while the family is heading back to Suna to visit Yumi's family instead. Maybe even make the shinobi attacking the family just be a bandit who had the eyes instead like they were a wanted missing ninja who had an eye themselves. Still, the other issue is the age, in general, to be given the sharrigan. Hayano just feels too young to have it. If you go about the route of the family being attacked by a bandit or missing ninja who has the eye I would suggest either aging her up or at the very least having her not get the eye till recently. This would require her father to not have died and be able to transplant it later in her life, but it would make a more consistent series of events at least. Whatever option you go with the history does need work before I can approve of it.[break][break]

Fighting Style: She should be keeping her sharingan under wraps at most if not all times due to the sensitive nature of her eyes. She would need to practically kill anyone who sees her use it if she wants to keep her eye a secret so be wary of the consequences of owning the eye.[break][break]
