[Souzouteki Sogo]

Sogo has a lot of new things she wants to try out now that she's spent some time learning more about her mother's clan's techniques, though she was also curious to see just how good her rabbit puppet could be in close quarters as well. There were plenty of things she knows she can do now with both seals and puppets, as well as making use of the Ink Manipulation techniques. The blonde felt that she was rapidly becoming much more capable as a shinobi, and it was actually rather exciting. It seemed that the apes had not accepted her as one of their own for the purposes of becoming a sage, but at least she still had her other skills, skills that made her almost a walking army herself. She was still perfecting two other puppets, and while her house was strewn with odd mechanisms and strange pieces, her parents were still rather supportive of their daughter's strange interests.

She'd had to take a break from her very busy schedule acting as an unofficial "Amateur Champion" for the younger members of the Okada clan performance troupe, though she'd forgotten to remove the homemade "championship belt" that she would often use as a fake prize for any of the juniors to "win" when they invariably beat her in a bout. Of course, it was all scripted, but the younger kids absolutely adored it, and even the adults would get very into the performances. She'd be a liar if she ever said she didn't enjoy it herself, but she did have to occasionally do some ninja work every now and then, which meant little time for her to act as the mentor for the younger kids.

Like now, when she needed to do some training with her team to make sure she hadn't become rusty while she'd been busy learning to make use of her Souzouteki heritage. Perhaps the blonde woman also thought it was a chance to show off, and so what if she did? She was a performer at heart, after all, and she loved to show off what she could do. She starts with some stretching, since this training would invariably involve some physical exertion; thankfully, her blonde hair was already up in a ponytail and out of the way, even if it did flare out a lot. The tank top she was wearing might seem somewhat exposing, but it was what she would often wear on a mission anyway, and the pants she had on were light and easy enough to wear, although her combat boots were a rather uncommon choice. The scroll that was usually hanging against her lower back was already off and open, since she was also going to be making use of one of her puppets for a bit of a test of what she can do with it.

[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Sukikyo sprinted through the winding streets, dodging market stalls and leaping over the occasional stray dog with his usual reckless energy. He felt the air rush past him, his heart racing.

The thought of spending an afternoon training with Sogo and Akari was all he needed to push himself to move even faster. He couldn’t wait to see what things Sogo had been working on or how Akari's progress had been coming along. Just the idea of getting stronger with them fueled his determination.

As he reached their meeting spot, Sukikyo skidded to a stop, catching sight of Sogo already there and stretching. He waved enthusiastically, grinning ear to ear. "Sogo! You're here!"

He jogged up, bouncing on his heels with barely contained energy, glancing around quickly. "Where's Akari? Think he's running late?"

He was practically vibrating with excitement, the wait for Akari already grating on his patience.

"I've been training hard since we last all met up!" he said with a grin that showed off a new cut on his cheek - a likely result of one of his relentless training sessions.

"But I really wanna see what you've been working on. You've gotta show me!" Sukikyo punched the air, already gearing up for whatever came next.

He felt his muscles tingling with anticipation, a familiar heat building in his legs as if they were urging him to start moving.

"Akari can join in when he gets here," he said, waiting really wasn't his strong suit. His bright eyes locked on Sogo, practically pleading for her to give the green light. "Come on, let's do something! What's first?!"

Kyo wanted to hype her up, see just what tricks she had in store for the team. After all, he had a team to catch up to and rivals to impress.

"Let's make today legendary!" he declared, throwing his arms up in a cheer, ready for whatever challenge lay ahead.

As a member of the Yutakako Clan, Sūkikyō was born with the ability to combine Katon and Raiton into the explosive element, Bakuton. He's not very precise with his explosions, but they don't lack in power, able to destroy with ease when the boy wants to. He's not a master, but he's rather talented at utilizing the kekkei genkai. Sūkikyō's trained with Bakuton from a very young age and has learned to use it in tandem with his favored taijutsu.

『Speed Demon』

Speed is not an issue for this rambunctious boy. Sūkikyō's speed is nothing to be taken lightly, he has pushed himself physically to be able to outpace opponents. The boy is quick and agile, easily outpacing his peers. Many people have trouble keeping track of Sūkikyō’s movements, as they are ridiculously quick for someone of his age.

[Minamoto no Akari]

Just as Sukikyo finished speaking a sharp wind sliced through the air blowing a faint breeze across the training area. Akari was already present leaning against a nearby tree, with his arms crossed, smirking at the sight of his squad mates. Unlike the others even his arrival to the training location was used as an opportunity work on his stealth.

Well now, didn't know I'd be so missed this much. A statement meant to be sarcastic. Akari's hair was tied backward and had a few loose strands hovering across his forehead looking as casual as can be as he made his way toward the two. He held a slight grin as he stared a Sogo who at the time was filled with confidence. Well, from the looks of it, I guess I better do some serious catching up. Said confidently yet Akari didn't the slightest idea of what he wanted to put forth this training to.

Akari then performed a light stretch, each movement was guided with the fluidity and grace from the many years of training with his prior master Minamto no Boshi. Looks like you two have both kept busy since our last team up. Perfect actually, while you two have been doing that I've had my tail tucked away working on a new technique of my own. A blatant lie but he gave Sukikyo an easy pat on the shoulder as he passed by thinking to himself. Who am I kidding, let's hope this little bit of innovation take me long way.

Today's legendary you say? Echoing the words of Sukikyo. His eyes then cut toward Sogo as if he was throwing a challenge her way. There was no malice in the intent but only perhaps a bit of a push toward them both to give it their all in the name of improvement. Well then, you two better be prepared to step up. Akari then took a step backward, ready for any surprises that teammates had in store for him.

[Souzouteki Sogo]

Sogo is actually quite surprised at Sukikyo's rambunctious way of greeting her, wondering how he had ever become a ninja with such a loud personality. And that was really saying something, when the person who was thinking that someone was just a bit too rambunctious was themselves a member of the Okada clan. Actually, come to think of it, she was probably just as boisterous when she was his age, so she might as well cut him some slack. Besides, she had to deal with kids his age sometimes in the amateur division of the Okada clan's performance troupe, so she should really have more patience with him. So she gives him a smile and a greeting as well, though he seems to have noticed that Akari has not yet arrived.

"Ah. Hello, Sukikyo. He might be running late, I'm not sure..."

She can't help but to giggle a bit when he exclaims that he's been training a lot since their last meet-up at a mission, and also seems excited about seeing what she has developed, although she knows both her teammates are more physical than she is, even with help from her puppets. Though Sukikyo's demand to just get started before Akari even gets here is a bit off-putting for her, and she's about to tell him not to say things like that, even if he's that excited, but she's interrupted from doing so by Akari himself, and she turns to look at him as he speaks.

Sogo raises an eyebrow when he states that he's been working on a new technique. She forms a single hand seal, the snake seal, causing the hare puppet to be unsealed from a distance instead of Sogo having to pull the puppet out herself, and she grabs hold of it with her puppet strings in order to activate another technique, specifically the one she'd been working on to make it transform on its own instead of her having to manually activate its transformation mechanism. It was quite a simple technique, but it made all the difference for how she wanted most of her puppets to work, and in order to make sure it would work with her other puppets, this training should function as a proof of concept for her.

"Rabbit - Engage!"

She pulls the rabbit puppet to herself as she calls out the jutsu, causing the rabbit to split apart and reform itself around her hands into a pair of steel gauntlets, with its ears now laid across the fingers and the kicking legs now able to give her punches more force, which she demonstrates by closing the distance between herself and Akari and throwing a wild haymaker at his chest. Thankfully, the blade was turned so that its flat end would hit him if the strike landed, and he'd likely be surprised at the force of her strike if it landed or if he tried to block it, thanks to the hydraulic power of the puppet's leg mechanisms now helping her strike.

The actuators that had once been its legs are now used to allow Sogo to punch with far greater force than she would normally be capable of.
