[attr="class","naritext"]The early morning sun peeked over the horizon, casting long shadows across the training grounds. A cool breeze rustled through the trees lining the edge of the clearing, carrying the fresh scent of dew-soaked grass.

Narihira stood at the entrance of the grounds, already feeling his eagerness building. The obstacle course stretched out before him, a familiar yet daunting sight of poles, hurdles, and strike dummies that seemed to taunt him.

Today was no different. He had strapped on the heavy weights around his wrists and ankles, their weight a familiar burden meant to push his limits even further.

Hisuiyuri rested across his back, the spear a constant source of encouragement. He let out a slow breath, steeling himself.

He took a few steps forward, feeling the weighted resistance with each movement, his muscles already bracing themselves for the strain.

Nari was sharp, focused solely on the task at hand - every step and movement planned out with a level of precision he had trained before.

A faint grin tugged at the corner of his lips. The training grounds were quiet, the early hour ensuring solitude, but that was part of the appeal. Out here, in the chill of dawn, it was just him, his spear, and the course ahead.

Narihira adjusted the straps on his weights, ensuring they were secured tightly, before he turned to face the course head-on.

His eyes traced the path he had designed for today - starting with the weaving poles, moving to the hurdles, and ending with a series of rapid, precise strikes on the dummies.

"Let's see if we can beat yesterday’s time," he said to himself, Hisuiyuri humming softly in response.

He crouched low, ready to spring forward and go through the motions of his training once again.

Life Blade Chakra
As all Life Blades, Hisuiyuri absorbs Nari's chakra continuously as he carries it around, stacking up a decent amount of chakra inside of itself equal to half its wielder's chakra pool. The chakra becomes Hisuiyuri's and cannot be accessed by anyone other than the spear, allowing it to have the ability to self-repair small nicks and scratches it may obtain during combat.

It also allows Hisuiyuri to have its own built-in security in case someone other than Nari grabs onto it. Using its futon chakra, sharp blades of wind will strike at the stranger's hands and arms until they release the spear. These gouges are minor cuts but they do sting quite a bit if they manage to hit skin.

When entering combat, Hisuiyuri will use its own stores to fuel its abilities until it runs out and then will begin taking from Narihira. Thanks to his deeper-than-average chakra pools the wielder and weapon are able to go for a decent length of time-fighting in that state, but eventually, it will cause Nari to lose consciousness if the spear takes too much chakra.

Flying Jades
Using its natural affinity to fūton, Hisuiyuri is able to detach the six small jade points that line the sides of its spearhead and allow them to hover. By sacrificing the shredding ability the points usually grant the spear, Narihira is able to fire them off either one-by-one or all at once towards his opponents.

At it's current skill level, Hisuiyuri's points move at a speed slightly quicker than a regular thrown kunai, due to being powered by fūton chakra and Narihira's able to control the path the points take up to 30m.

To properly use this armour, the user needs to have access to Wind Release. When wearing the armour, the user can channel their chakra to add a thin layer of wind covering the armour, which acts makes it harder for weapon attacks to connect, as the moving wind seeks to deflect attacks off the user [Low chakra drain per use]

Built for Shinobi
The metal alloy used to create this mesh armour shirt is strong, but that's not its main perk. The armour's weight is neglectable to the point shinobi wearing it suffer no negative impact on their agility and speed. However, due to its design, it is more effective against slashing attacks, and more vulnerable to piercing attacks.

A young member of the scattered Araikettei Clan, Narihira has the ability to wield the strange and powerful Life Blades. He created his own Blade at a young age, under the tutelage of his mother, however, instead of making a sword as was common for the Clan members, Narihira designed his in the shape of a polearm.

Giving it the name Hisuiyuri, he began learning to properly wield it from the moment he could hold it. Due to the connection the blade shares with him, should it ever be broken, both Narihora and the blade's soul would die, so he keeps it on his person at all times and cares for it meticulously.

『Deep Chakra Pool』

Narihira was lucky to be born with a deeper-than-average chakra pool. It allows him to fight and use jutsu for longer periods of time before he tires, compared to those with average-sized chakra pools. It's especially useful for him, due to the fact that his Life Blade is constantly absorbing chakra from him. But thanks to the depth of his stores, he never feels the strain from that drain unless he has depleted the polearm's stores in combat.

『Acrodancer』

Training has granted Narihira impeccable control over his body and muscles, to the point that he appears as if he might be dancing around his opponents with ease. Whether spinning around in close combat, leaping up over an attack, or flipping out the way, Narihira's gymnastics make him a slippery foe that few have hopes of landing a hit upon.

[Netsu Samemaru]

As Narihira started to do the movements of their training, if they were to look back over towards the entrance they would see... something walking towards the training fields. Whatever it was seemed to be massive, easily a foot or more over your average person, and it was wearing an armor that while it made an attempt to blend into the background, the thing wearing it would have a hard time hiding it's massive frame. If Narihira had any knowledge of the Netsu Clan, and their requirement to use armor this could be a variation of this but it seemed far too bulky and heavy to be moved easily by a person.

On it's right hip was a sword to fit a creature of this size, a claymore in size, though on this thing it could have been a longsword or similar length blade. The sword itself didn't seem to be anything special, just a normal blade that any shinobi or samurai could get their hands on without anything interesting standing out about it.

This might very well be one of the only times that Narihira has seen Samemaru Netsu in his full gear. And even out in town, Samemaru looked like a giant, and this armor only made him taller, look less human and more like a monster people might tell their children about. Once Samemaru appeared over the hill, he finally noticed that he wasn't alone. He had been lost in his thoughts about the night before. Under his armor he still had on his weight training gear, along with this armor that was to assist in keeping him from dying from using this clan abilities.

" O. Hello there, I didn't realize this training ground would be taken... apologizes. " Samemaru said within his armor, he gave a wave of his hand, the thick armor plates moving smoothly over each other but it was clear that those plates were not designed to be light or flexible, they were designed to take a hit or twelve before breaking. " I hope I am not intruding on your training, if I am, I can go to another training grounds. " Samemaru honestly just needed to get more practice and training running and doing other things in this armor, because while his body could hold the weight without too much issue, he had yet to push himself hard enough to see if he could run for long periods of time with it.

The heavy clanking of armor wasn't something you often heard around the training grounds at this hour. His eyes widened slightly as the massive figure came into view, the morning light glinting off the heavy armor plates.

He straightened up from his crouch, intrigued by the sight. As the armored figure came closer and spoke, Narihira let out a small chuckle, shaking his head.

"No need to apologize," he replied, his voice steady and calm. "These grounds are here for all of us to train."

"Besides," he added, motioning at Samemaru's armor, "it's not every day I get to see something like this."

He paused as he adjusted the strap on one of his ankle weights, making sure it was still secure. Hisuiyuri hummed softly at his back. "Yeah, I've got it, Hisuiyuri. I'll ask him," he said looking back at the spear.

Nari continued, "I was just about to run through a few rounds of my obstacle course. I could always use some company, and it looks like you've got your own set of weights to work with."

Narihira glanced at the towering figure, briefly assessing the armor and the weight Samemaru carried. "If you're up for it, we can modify the course a bit and train together. I could use a fresh pair of eyes to push me further, and I imagine maneuvering in that armor isn't easy."

He offered a nod, gesturing towards the path ahead. "What do you say? Think you're up for a challenge?"

[Netsu Samemaru]

Samemaru nodded to the man, listening before saying " I have my own training weights under this as well, even if I don't use them on mission, at least if I train with heavier weights than I carry on mission then things will be lighter when it really matters most, but yea of course I am up for whatever challenge you have in mind. "

Samemaru looked out over the course that was laid out in front of him and he could tell that it wasn't something he would be capable of doing, at least not in his armor along with his natural bulk. His natural size and bulk made doing things some things, that the smaller and clearly more acrobatic Narihira could do in his sleep, impossible for him. So he walked over and said " I need to do my warm up anyway, so if you wanna train while I do my warm ups that would be fine and we can figure out where we can fit me in. "

Pulling his claymore off his side, he swung it in a single hand away from Narihira, the blade was nearly if not as long as his own polearm but the entire length of it was a double sided blade and while Samemaru wasn't nearly as good as Narihira with his claymore as Narihira was with their polearm, it would be an interesting comparison of advantages. Strength and Durability vs Agility and Precision. One was clearly more ninja-like than the others but that didn't matter.

Samemaru began his warm ups with very basic set of swings and thrusts one handed with the claymore, before slowly moving into two handed swings. Narihira could most likely tell that Samemaru's size and bulk was not just for show, he was as powerful as someone of his size would be expected to be at his age, if not more so potentially.

Samemaru was still watching out of the corner of his eye at his fellow Genin, seeing how other people 'like' him trained.

[attr="class","naritext"]Narihira's grin grew as he watched Samemaru begin his warm-ups, admiring the sheer power and weight behind each swing of the claymore. The strength required to wield such a weapon with ease, especially in that bulky armor, was impressive - no doubt a testament to Samemaru's dedication to his training.

"Training with heavier weights than you'd carry on a mission - that's smart," Narihira commented, nodding approvingly. "Makes everything feel lighter in the field. Compared to training, you'd be moving at ridiculous speeds."

As Samemaru continued his warm-up, Narihira turned back to his own training.

He crouched low, readying himself at the start of the course. "I'll run through this set while you finish up, but don't think I won't be watching," he said with a playful smirk. "Gotta make sure I'm keeping pace with someone swinging a blade that probably weighs several times more than mine."

A sting pressed into the center of his back, as Hisuiyuri chastised him for daring to speak ill of it. He reacted by frowning at the spear and rolling his shoulders at the discomfort

With that, he sprinted forward, weaving through the poles with practiced precision, the weights on his limbs adding just the right amount of resistance. His movements were fluid as he weaved through the poles, light on his feet, switching direction with only the most subtle of movements.

As he reached the end of the course, he slowed, breathing harder but still grinning. He glanced over to Samemaru. "Once you're warmed up, maybe we can add a bit of sparring to this routine? Agility against the raw power you seem to have could be a good challenge for us both."

Narihira shifted his weight, feeling the familiar hum of Hisuiyuri as he waited for Samemaru's response before he would probably try running through the course again.

[Netsu Samemaru]

Samemaru smiled at the man's jab at him, he was also going to be watching the man as he ran through his course. He was clearly a slippery one. He had clearly done this course quite a few times, given that he had to use resistance weights to make it harder for him. Atleast this was interesting, this is how he imagined most shinobi fought, being slippery and simply hard to hit rather than taking a hit and then punishing accordingly.

Samemaru's swings and warm up also involved him doing push ups and other movements to assist him if he was ever knocked down during a fight. He needed to know that he would be able to get off his back quickly if it ever came back to that, and luckily his strength along with the construction of the armor allowed for that to be...'fairly' easily.

Samemaru was starting to sweat a little bit now, but he looked at Narihira and smiled before saying " Sure. We can do that" At which point Samemaru reached into his pack and pulled out a very long strip of leather and wrapped his claymore on the blade. Samemaru wasn't interested in having a spar with the man, where if Samemaru would kill his fellow Genin if either of them made a mistake.

This turned the claymore into effectively a very heavy stick, while it would possibly break bone if he got a bad hit but it wouldn't kill him. Samemaru then put his helmet on, at which point he stopped looking very human. He looked more like an metal monster in the shape of a human and a red glow appeared behind the eyes as Samemaru readied himself.

Samemaru stood in a stance with his right foot forward, but his weight on his back left foot and his right hand had his claymore pointed In front of him. The claymore was parallel to the ground, the point toward Narihira. His left hand was resting at his side, waiting.
