It was time for the Tanjo to head out, they'd all been instructed by their leader the Pathfinder that they'd be meeting with the Kazekage along a passage in vegetable country. An exchange of lumber from one of the mills that they had managed to secure in exchange for a meeting.

However since the scheduled time of the meeting a great deal of things had change unbeknownst to the pathfinders knowledge, but they still carried on uncertain of what to expect and kept their guards up. Fuu had been assigned as apart of the caravan and was made to keep watch, staying near the back as the Pathfinder took up position in the front as a guiding figure to her charges. Due to their friendly relations with vegetable country they were safe for the most part.

But fate always had a way of catching up to them, and they made sure to keep on their guard Fuu having her crossbow at the ready should she absolutely need to use it, her eyes peeled around every corner. She'd been on many adventures thus far. Having established relations with Konoha, and being the direct envoy to Suna, even if she didn't quite make it to the village. Thanks to her efforts, they now have this meeting but how it plays out isn't fully up to her. For now she's simply sit back and watch.

There was very little that annoyed Arashi too much. Well..perhaps that wasn't completely true... A lack of information was certainly one of the major things on her shit list, but she often found that perhaps there were cases in which this was needed for one reason or another. Such was the situation in the arrangement made between the Tanjo leader and the Godaime Kazekage Kiyoshi. Now it had taken some time for Arashi to put the pieces together as to just what the man had been doing, and even then, she was still somewhat in the dark as to just who these people were and just what exactly the man had promised them. So upon getting the letter of invitation, she had made certain that she was there a lot earlier. More than that, she had also secured the area with at least three trained ANBU to be safe. She wasn't a fan of the idea already, but she was definitely not about to trust criminals in keeping to a deal. Not without at least being sure that this group was on the level. With her having personally helped in securing this path through the mountains, it was easy for her to learn the layout, as well as make sure that their previous guest were no longer occupying it. Of course, that didn't mean that it wouldn't be refilled with the amount of time it had taken to gain confirmation about this set up. Still, she was curious as to just who these people were... As she remained in contact with the three shinobi who remained in cover, she too would hold mask of sorts, dropping down from the cover of the trees as she stood behind Fuu, noting her cross bow being at the ready as she spoke from the visual of a hood and a mask of a tanuki. "Hello there..." Her tone was calm, though if she had managed to surprise the blonde haired female, that would be at least some element as her party watched from the shadows. Keeping to her guise, she'd remain firm as she continued to speak, her Fuuma Shuriken held between her fingertips as she tilted her head from one side to the next. "Ya aren't what I was expectin..." An understatement, but then, she imagined they weren't expecting a short woman in a raccoon mask.

A Skill granted by her continued use and developed relationship with Shukaku over the continued use of his control over sand, Arashi has a stronger connection to the element, allowing her to use it at a much more intensive rate than before. As such, her defenses are much more adapt and capable of taking on stronger attacks and reinforcing itself at faster speed. This adaptation to the sand shield allows for it's reaction time to have increased and make it more challenging for attacks to connect and break through the first layer, while acting still on the natural inclinations of auto-repairing itself for the next strike.

As Fuu came around the front once the procession had stopped, a woman in front of her also wore a hood. "That's because she isn't the one you should be paying attention too." she removed her hood and beneath it was a woman who equally as dark skinned as Arashi herself.

"Greetings I am the Pathfinder the leader of my beloved Tanjo, my name Neena Nanjo!" she would say as she bowed before her and Fuu followed suit. "So you're the leader of this esteemed nations military forces, I was under the impression I was talking to a man, you don't look much like a Kiyoshi, but perhaps I'm mistaken..." she would say with her hands on her hips as she looked the smaller girl over.

She'd look over at the individuals with the mask, and Fuu would lean over. "Uhh, Pathfinder...who are those guys?" the Pathfinder would lean down. "Those Fuu, are the secret police they watch and follow the leaders of these nations every move, I hear they're also quite good in a fight." Fuu nods her head and then turns her attention back towards the woman before her, wondering just what might be going on here, was it some sort of set up. If so the pathfinder wasn't above having her wits about her, but things seem a bit more innocent then that a mix up perhaps?

"Ya be surprised...I once met a girl who was named Ryu..." Small remarks aside, it appeared that the Pathfinder was indeed the leader of the Tanjo, meaning that this was the individual that Kiyoshi had been speaking with for the last few months. Granted, she was expecting a far more criminal element in this, so far there wasn't much reason to consider them nothing more than travelers. Still, nothing was ever what it seemed as the masked female would gesture for her team to relax for a moment as she continued to hold her ground. "You've been in talks with the Kazekage, it deemed it only appropriate that they respond in kind. Your recent message asked for a meeting upon discovery of a passage that allowed for safe travel, which is possible, so long as the terms of your agreement are in tact..." Arashi wasn't for this plan to begin with. It was never a good idea to do something in the dark that could just as easily blow up and bring light to it. Still, if she were to believe in what this arrangement was to bring, it meant that possible resources could be moved into the village without the worry of the oversight. "Though I will warn you that the Kage is not one in which to be toyed with....so your message of meeting here had best be one in which was vital and to require such a meeting..." As her position remained the same, she could still sense her team was at the ready for any possible change in demeanor. "Why did you call for this meeting?"
