Height: 5'6 Weight: 105lbs An elegant boy clearly cut from the exxotic Yugao clan. His eyes are flame shade or red with the slightest hint of orange to his hues. His hair is black and straight always kept clean and only long enough to cover his ears, other than a small rat tail's worth of hair from the very back of his head. He'd often tie this hair off as an indication of his growing age and experience, then dangle it over his shoulder to make sure it's pronounced when meeting someone. The boys expression is almost always one of curiosity or joy, the most serious a face he generally makes is one of a smug grin and keen stare. The boy being of paler complexion has never been a huge fan of the sun or bright lights and often has an almost squint to his stare. The boy is of a normalish height a touch short, but his figure is much more thin than the average shinobi.
Unlike most shinobi much of Akio'a attire is purely for looks and serves no great purpose. His prime layer of clothing being a pitch black suit, with skinny pants and height heeled boots to add an inch to the boys ego. The shirt of his suit has gold buttons as to match the gold trim and clan insignia's on his black overcoat with a wide brim. Underneath his coat he wears a long red scarf, which he uses to cover his headband. Not being the type to fight up close or take on unnecessary challenges Akio tries to only be seen as a shinobi when it's necessary. Akio keeps at his side a thin katana with a blade similar to that of a rapier.
To further help the shinobi avoid attention Akio typically on missions wears a fuzzy brown hood and cloak. The inside threaded with bushels of silk in order to help keep Akio and his moths warm during travel. This brown cloak also bells out enough around the boy to hide his scrawniness. Nindo: "What's the point of sleeping when this is all a dream anyways?" Akio has a very unique personality, as a child he was born with almost inherit genjutsu skills. However the first mind he would effect was his own, but this would just be a small factor to the boys strangeness. Akio suffers from a list of unknown mental disorders, he often hears voices clear as day to speak to him. He even at a young age picked up he was the only one to be hearing them, so he'd hide their messages but failed to ignore what was said entirely. He'd often seem disinterested to others or simply adrift daydreaming when he was fighting minor mental breakdown.
It wouldn't help the boy that he could talk to butterflies and moths, he'd make great friends with the insects and often spend more time with them than people. He's seemed as someone to be anti-social, but almost overly social with the insects and summons. Whether it was a prank or habit Akio often is spotted speaking to his moths about other people in plain sight. Laugh at people from a distance without anyone human hearing or caring about his message. It'd help drive people to call him a creep, but it wasn't the voices in his head or the minuscule cries of insects that made him a real creep.
Akio was considered a prodigy of genjutsu even in the Yugoa clan, but he didn't become this way without practice. Akio has the problem of attempting all of his jutsu upon not only his family, but stray villagers and even those of foreign villages. He didn't care about bonds, relationships or how disturbed the genjutsu might have been. Akio was the type to care more about his fun and experience than considering those around him. He's self centered in this fashion however with voices in his head he's often compelled to make friends through his creeping. Find individuals capable of living in his nightmare with him.
The Yugoa thinks highly of himself, but at the end of the day needs peers to admire him. Fujiko was a recent chunnin of fifteen when she learned she was pregnant, she'd not only tell no one who his father was, but she'd break all contact with any males of Yukigakure. Hiding herself within the village and under the roof of her mothers, Fujiko would give birth to Akio with the help of a midwife none by Fujiko's mother. Without a different name to dominant Yugoa would be Akio's last name, but it'd be fitting as genjutsu and the clan's hijutsu came fairly second nature. Though Fujiko gave up being a shinobi to devote her life to her newborn son. Fujiko however took these decision as an excuse to excummincate herself from society, as after Akio was born the woman never really went far from her mothers residence.
Akio during his post walking stages would seen as having an influence on others, he'd do this almost purely by touch. It was subtle things like whether or not someone was agitated, tired or happy. It was clear to many the boy was in-sync with his natural chakra, however it was also clear he had a stronger balance of Yin than Yang in his core. He was tipped like most Yugoa towards genjutsu, but the tip was severe and many assumed what'd happen next. The boy prior to entering the academy would of mastered a genjutsu, it wasn't until he'd master a second that he was pushed into academy. He'd shortly after learning both proceed to abuse the genjutsu to pester his family and especially lower skilled cousins.
The academy was very surprising for everyone to watch as Akio required an extra two years on the time most academy students needed to pass. The boy wasn't the type to get along with others, he instead preferred to be the vein of everyone's day. His behavior slowly improved as he'd become more or less a laughing stock being held back essentially two years. He simply wasn't that good at ninjutsu outside of things necessary for his clan, he didn't have the interest at first. However performing jutsu always felt taxing two on the boy, it was fun to torture the new mix of academy students but he felt more of the torture the less special he seemed.
However upon finally mastering the academy jutsu and barely showing an ability to hold out in spars, Akio would pass from the academy all together. He'd be twelve years old roughly the same age as most graduating, but he'd entered in to the academy at the age of six instead of eight like most kids. He also entered with proof of a genjutsu and his genjutsu skill appearing to be that of shinobi standard. However a one trick pony was seen by smart people as just that. He'd leave the academy at the age of twelve, but he'd still be known by most as incredible with genjutsu. It wasn't good notoriety as people knew this from being caught in his genjutsu.
Akio over the course of two years showed more and more adaption with his genjutsu, but he seemed unable to pick up on other arts. His sensei over those two years wouldn't approve of his lacking Taijutsu, as Taijutsu had been their primary skill. The two people in Akio's team were those shinobi who seemed decent, but quickly excelled in their clan arts. Akio was perfectly matched with these two, he actually at the start seemed to have the highest cap in ability to a skill. However unlike him his teammates were able to much better master other arts and skills. They were diverse and with the sensei's approval they and only them would be allowed to participate in the chunnin exams. To Akio's dismay both would pass and his sensei would declare unable to help Akio more.
Akio now has been transferred to genin team one in recourse, but the blow was strangely effective on the Yugoa's spirit. No longer able to feel pompous he attempts to over step his ego and try out the whole working with your team this time around. He knew his genjutsu was good enough to prove him a chunnin, but he needed to prove he was worth a chance at chunnin. It'd require teamwork at least that was the thing he liked least, so it'd clearly be the thing they wanted him to overcome most. Akio is what you'd consider a long range fighter, if you were to consider him a fighter. He more or less tries to play a support role and other than genjutsu, relying on something or someone else is Akio's first strategy. Akio has mastered genjutsu with leaps and bounds, but lacking skill in ninjutsu and being near physically unable to perform taijutsu. Akio tries to avoid being in the close quarters of a fight or even being in the firing range of an enemy ninjutsu specialist. It's fair to say Akio tries to fight opponents, but not letting them get a chance in a fight at all. Akio hopes in the situation of a fight he's paired one on one, but if in a trouble situation it'd still be his plan. Engage the enemy one at a time and try to attack a group subversively.
Akio when forced into a situation of a middle range conflict will often try to turn to flight, he'll rely heavily on dodging and using cover to be out of the way of immediate attack. Once away from trouble he'll try to summon a butterfly to assist him in defusing a situation. Akio often doesn't go for killing blows in his youth, he's more honed on messing around and less on the assassin work of his clan. Though Akio hopes to hone his abilities into something lethal as well as powerful, his genjutsu though when uninterrupted often gives him an overwhelming advantage.
If forced into a close range fight or a fight without the enemies whereabouts clear, then the boy will rely on 'touch play' and his familiar moths. Using his corruptive chakra Akio will attempt to avoid attack or recover from their downfall with touch based genjutsu. A faster method of delivering techniques, which requires him or his moths to touch a shinobi. A dangerous feat for a weakling, but often a life saver when an unsuspecting foes trapped in a genjutsu without the normally clear triggers. Delicate Butterfly: Akio is very clearly a member of the insect clan Yugoa, he has inherited the ability to speak to moths and butterflies. He's even spoken with some of the clan's summons, but what he takes most clearly from the clan is it's genjutsu prowess. Akio is a prodigy of genjutsu and believed to have abilities in genjutsu beyond most shinobi. He's however a one trick pony and as pathetic as his ninjutsu skill, his tai or bukijutsu skills are the exact opposite of his genjutsu. Akio is capable of mastering genjutsu abilities, jutsu and honing genjutsu into his familiars as well as taking it from his summons. He however is incapable of learning ninjutsu over C-rank and any taijutsu or bukijutsu. Physically the boy is hardly ready for combat and nothing short of a tank around him would truly suit for armor.
What this SA summarizes; he can speak to butterflies and he's past the point of amazing in genjutsu, if there was a genin to make genjutsu it'd be him, if there were an SA only a genjutsu master could have he can have it. However it's at the lose of any physical SA's and an ineptitude to ninjutsu and all other non-genjutsu arts. I'd even go as far as to say his non-genjutsu cost double their normal cost, but all this lacking speaks levels of what intense mastery and control over genjutsu he's shaped.
Corruptive Chakra: Akio is known as having a corruptive chakra, it gets this name from the boys ability to induce chakra into something through pure touch. This ability is most pronounced in two functions; the first being to infuse his chakra into his familiars heat their cocoon stage to trigger metamorphosis and make them his catalyst. The second being to cast genjutsu purely through touch and concentration. When applying a technique through touch the target is denied the ability to block out the technique, but the technique requires twice the amount of posts to cast. Meaning an individual can be freed from a touch based genjutsu, so long as they're separated from Akio in the first post.
Using corruptive chakra to create hatch his moths, Akio is also feeding these moths his chakra. Commanding a moth to land on an opponent can also be counted as casting a touch based genjutsu. Moths however can only be used to cast a technique of equal rank to their user and require that many posts to absorb the chakra before landing on a target. In incredibly cold areas like the snow and frost countries the corruptive chakra is also drained every post the moths aren't within Akio's cloak.
Akio's chakra points and the lines which attach them appear to be looser and more spread than a normal shinobi's. So a Hyuuga could potentially note this boys abilities prior to him using them. S-RANK Technique Name [English Translation]
