The clone bursting in smoke revitalized the originals main reserves once more. Whatever chakra it had left it would recycle to the user, luckily for him it only used the body flicker movement. Concentration was vital in this instance, but so was the distance. She was explosive at the touch from what it seemed, but assumptions wouldn't lead him anywhere. Distanced battle didn't seem possible, but that might be what she wanted him to wonder. That's why he prepared himself each step he took, it was the idea of chess and needed to play it like such. Risks could be taken but this was his own life he was talking about; no second chances.

The claw reached forth with intensity, dicing the woman left hand as she escaped. She kicked harshly from the ground to leap backwards, landing firmly; face full of anger. The wind arm could have continued to extend and grow larger but it ended. The swirling winds untangled and the Jounin peered upon her through the fog. It was spread out fairly evenly, thinner but spanning a good twenty meters around them. The wind jutsu cleared the area he was around, but her distancing herself saved her from the wind technique.

The Jounin exhaled from his nose. It was noticeably loud, and she'd easily her him. Now his eyes were fairly fine now, but it was the Kankaku that allowed him to locate the target. Utilizing it previously, he was able to make the next step on his technique. Luckily for him the day was still, no heavy winds at the moment and clearly no signs of a incoming storm. The hand right hand remained forward, his left hung at his side and eyes focused. Mentally, he had located the target in the fog. The fog started gathering toward her, attracted to her almost like it was magnetized. The shinobi was able to use Kankaku to establish the location of someone present in the fog. If so, they could perform the black coffin technique after. The edgy feeling was good to off set someone, and he wanted her to be afraid of the fog. The man was trying to urge her movements, her escaping and create openings. What what she going to do now? He'd observe. The fog would gather quickly from around, aiming to solidify around her body and pack closely. It'd continue until it'd crush her whole body like a imploding coffin.

NAME: Kuro hitsugi [Black Coffin]

RANK: B

CHAKRA USAGE: High
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
ELEMENT: N/A

DESCRIPTION:

Due to Takumi's increased control of the fog(Kankaku technique), he can now feel out bodies of chakra within' the black fog and use that to locate his target. Quickly if he asserts enough chakra he can force the fog to gather toward that body of chakra. Doing so he can form a single seal to solidify the incoming fog and crush the target. Obviously it requires a post to make the fog, a post to locate the target and a post to use. It's a high preparation technique overall, but devastating if landed.

-Fog Basin(C-rank) is a requirement for the technique.
-Sense(D-rank) is a requirement for the technique.

SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME

The fog… It’s still around? Despite the meager amount he had managed to release so early into the fight, he still had enough to work with. She had nearly forgotten all about it, focusing more on trying to avoid getting injured altogether and trying to do whatever she can to harm her apparently untouchable opponent. The fog had been slowly spreading out into a thin mist. Despite her continued escape attempts, the fog had somehow managed to blanket a large the battlefield. She could have sworn that the fog had been closer to his clone than it had him. He had run at her… How in the blazes did Blue do it? She didn’t know. It didn’t matter. The simple fact of the matter was: She was surrounded. While it was thin, she could still make out her opponent to a small degree. His already dark frame silhouetted by the haze. From this distance, she couldn’t easily determine what it was he was going to do.

All of a sudden, she began to notice the fog shift in place. It was beginning to pack itself around her. She felt pressure building around her limbs. Her skin pulled tight as she attempted to move. The solidification took its time, and with the thinned fog, she could move ever so slightly. But the fog wasn’t relenting. Every moment she waited, she could feel the mist bearing down on her. The blood on her arm, hand and leg had been staunched, more or less, by the increasing pressure of the fog. Her oxygen was depleting as the horror of the jutsu dawned on her. He was attempting to crush her. The fog, similar to the jutsu he had used to make those black senbon, had started to take solid form. Struggling against the fog, she forced her hands towards eachother… Come on… Come on… She began to choke, her head becoming flushed red as she struggled to move her hands. Each and every centimeter ‘cause pain in the cuts along her left hand. But she… had to keep going… What she could see through the fog became more and more difficult to distinguish as her oxygen level depleted. Everything was going black... er.

Her annoying opponent had apparently had enough of her struggles. But she wasn’t going to die so easily… She refused to go out like that. Flashbacks of her life began to invade her mind. Memories…? The pain she felt during her first encounter with the cold embrace of death… The feelings she had developed for ever so many ninja during her years… Ryu… Her eyes began to water slightly. It’d be hard for anyone to say they saw the tough lemon-headed kunoichi cry but… Even she felt pain. But she… had to press on. She had come this far. She wasn’t going to let her past all be for naught. Ryu left her for a reason. She NEEDED to survive; If not for herself, at the very least to honor his memory. Blood flowed faster from her left hand more and more as she forced it through the fog. It had become thicker, and ever more difficult to move in. She just needed… to get her hands together…

And suddenly… It was as if the pressure of the fog, the pain of her wounds, the thoughts that tumbled around her knuckle-headed mind had disappeared… A brief moment of ecstatic bliss. Her hands touched eachother. Flesh against blood-soaked flesh. Forcibly weaving signs, she began to force out a roar. ”Ooooooooooooooooh!” One sign… then another, and another… Chakra began to meld into a small orb, which rapidly began to grow in size. While this technique would normally be done above the head… She didn’t really have the ability to manipulate her muscled form to do so right now. As such… The orange-hued sphere grew and grew until it engulfed her form entirely. 4 meters… 6 meters… 8.. 10. As it reached it’s maximum size the orb began to give off a brilliant light. This technique was usually used as a distraction but… Well it’ll still have its shock factor to say the least. It was a damn good thing Yutakako didn’t get injured by their own explosions.

With a sound of piercing volume, the orb exploded. Bursting into tons of smaller orbs. Each impacting with the solidified fog and chipping away at it in all directions. The ground below Amaterasu crumbled away as the explosive balls flew wildly about in all directions. With each explosion, Amaterasu’s body became more free. Finally she was able to move again. A quick gasp of air returned her vision, albeit blurry, to her. Another powerful kick saw her disappear into a puff of smoke. She reappeared a good distance away, nearby the mining tunnels. Explosion after explosion destroyed the fog from the core around which Amaterasu had just been. The explosive balls that had broken through the fog now flew off into the air at random, bursting into what looked like fireworks. Her whole body ached as her muscles readjusted to the normal pressure. The injuries she had sustained, on top of using such a draining jutsu… It was taking its toll on her. With a quick glance towards the position where she had last seen Takumi, she stumbled into the mine. She had one last trick of her own she wanted to try…

NAME: Bakuton: Amehōgeki [Raining Bombardment]
RANK: B
CHAKRA USAGE: High
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
ELEMENT: Bakuton
DESCRIPTION:
A large, wide scale jutsu with mostly show to shock and surprise, as well as make the enemy believe a much higher powered strength behind it.
The user will create a large, orange colors chakra ball above their head, and launch it into any direction they wish, as long it doesn't touch the ground. The ball is approximatively ten meters in diameter and glows like a large sun.
Once the ball is fully created, the user shall launch it - making it travel fifteen meters at most, before it explodes into smaller projectiles that will explode upon impact with any possible obstable: the ground, trees, rocks, opponents, etc.
The damage caused by this jutsu isn't the wost. At best, it'll cause broken bones and horribly scarring wounds and burns. At worst, it'll scorch and scare the opponent into distraction. The radius of this jutsu, after the large ball explodes is of ten more meters.

NAME: Shunshin no Jutsu [Body Flicker Technique]
RANK: D
CHAKRA USAGE: Low
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [General]
ELEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION:
By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, and any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion.

The fog around the woman quickly flew inward to smash her, but something unusual happened. A large ball of bright energy pulsated to life. It grew, grew and grew. Immediately the shinobi leaped backwards, landing before he realized it was going to explode. //N-// his mind couldn't circulate the words as the explosion occurred. Craters upon craters were etched into the mountain side; rocks falling below. The ground exploded where the balls of energy struck. In the immediate vicinity, it was 'holy' to say the least..heh. The Jounin was within' the dust and debris. A feint black fog loomed around his body, he was crouched with his right hand stamped onto the ground. It made a three-dimensional cube around his body. It disappated as the exploding technique finished. The barrier wasn't to be sustained anymore, and the force destroyed it. Luckily it wasn't any stronger or he'd have been damaged far worse. Cuts were seen on his face from flying rocks, they struck so hard they broke skin. First degree burns traced his cheeks, and hands. His forearms were pretty clear besides all the hair being burnt off.

The mans jacket was still in good condition, however. The man always seemed to keep that thing untouched. It was considered that it was more important than his own life. Who actually knew? Who'd be risky enough to find out?

The man rested in the center of a untouched area of earth. Many spots around it were destroyed, caved in and revealed how severe the technique was. This woman was catching his interest more and more. No matter how many moves he made she remained innovative. It was a beautiful thing to see indeed, and it reminded him of his youth. When he was younger he had a drive to survive unlike most. Some people got their lives turned into a tedious show, and forgot the meaning of what it meant to be alive. His ears were wide open, listening intently on this almost silent battle field. The only thing that could be heard was the waterfalls of rocks. The rubble that fell off and crumbled into the ground below. Occasionally large boulders would dislodge. The building nearby was completely destroyed, it was exploded into the river and made a make-shift 'dam'. The water continued to flow across it, but the debris that remained on land burned. It was all on fire.

The Raven was eyeing around, but his ears surrounded him. His mind was clear and his senses focused. No particular sight he aimed for, no expectations but a willingness to hear indifference. Let her step near, take movement or attack. He'd be able to find an incoming sign. The next move wasn't as critical. If he stalled, she'd pass out eventually. The man intended to keep chipping away, but his survival was critical. He couldn't take the chance of getting hit by her supreme technique. It was time to do something different.

SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME

Friiiiiiiiick. Ama had meandered a short distance into the cave as the dust of her attack settled on the battlefield. Collapsing against the closest wall, she slid down. Her originally white outfit had been coated in a fine mess of colors by this point: Brown, from the dirt and rubble that had been continually kicked up by her explosives and the earth she had sunken into earlier; black, from the coal dust that lingered in the air of the mine; and red, from the blood that had been dripping from her limbs. What the hell was she to do now? Her thoughts had been a mush of random images since her narrow escape from suffocation moments ago. Ryu… What would he do here? Probably tell the knucklehead off. "It’s not like you to try n’ think, Lemonhead.” Maybe something like that… A smile tugged at the edges of her mouth as she reminded herself of her long, and now very much lost, old friend… Whatever the case, he wouldn’t be too keen on her sitting around moping about her situation.

She should be out there kicking ass. Fine. But first, she’d take a moment to do some brief house-keeping on herself. She tore a large piece of dirtied white cloth from her shirt collar. Her tan face was finally revealed in full. Her lips were plump and shimmered in the small bits of light that made its way into the darkness of the mine. Her chin came to a soft point, sweat beading on the end of it before dripping down to what remained of the shirt. Soaking through the thin cloth and landing softly on her ample bosom. The blue scars, engraved into her face a long time ago, were now fully visible. Ripping the cloth into smaller sections, she began to wrap up her wounds. Starting with her right leg. The scratch to her knee had injured her movements to some degree, but not severely. It wasn’t a major worry. The injury to her lower leg was less severe, but prevented her from putting as much pressure on said leg. Then her right arm. This also wasn’t a terrible injury, and would slow her even less than the injuries to her leg. That said, the blood was irritating and may as well be dealt with. The real problem was… She glanced once more to her torn up left hand. With the wind having cut it in various places, it would be hard to wrap. More importantly, the injuries made it more difficult to perform hand-signs. Not impossible, as she had proven while trapped in his fog, but certainly more annoying. Wrapping it in the remainder of the cloth, she leaned back against the wall and let out a deep breath.

Now then. She had already burned a decent chunk of her chakra. If she used much more, she’d really be feeling it. But she couldn’t sit around either. The only way to win the fight was to get out there and beat Blue’s annoying ass. But! She still had that trick of her’s she wanted to try. Getting up once more, she delved deeper into the mine-shaft. These mines had been bored into the Cliff-side by Iwagakure under the supervision the Blast Corps’ Demolitions and Structural Insight units. While that didn’t prove terribly useful in navigating herself around, she did have a general concept of how the thing would hold up. So… upon finding herself against a wall she assumed to be facing towards the field of battle she had just left (upwards and a bit to the left of her original starting position) she began to act. This far into the mine, the coal dust coated the air and sides of the mine-shaft. And coal dust, as she knew well, was highly combustible.

It had been some time since she had been so reckless but… "Let’s rock the house, Yo!” She took a deep breath and pulling her arm back, she slammed her fist into the side of the mine wall. The walls of the cavern had been made structurally unsound from her earlier display of explosive power, and a strong punch from a titan of physical ability like her was enough to crack right through the weak stone wall. A hole shattered through the side of the cavern, and began to widen as rocks tumbled down the cliff-side. Leaping from the hole in the wall, she turned weaved a few quick hand-seals. Fire ignited in her open hand, and shot off like a stream into the cave. The thick layers of coal dust ignited. A wave of fire spread throughout the caverns as the dust combust, With a large rumbling noise, the entire area felt as if it were shaking. From the outside of the cavern, more rocks began to tumble down. Larger and larger. The entire side of the cavern wall began to shift and slide. Landing on one of the larger rocks, Amaterasu laughed wildly. Her toothy grin was now in full view.

"Hey, hey Blue! Eyes up here, yo!” Had this fight become a game to her? Not quite. Sowing chaos would hopefully take him by surprise. Unstable ground could play to her advantage. While she was reckless in battle, she was no idiot. She had her ideas. Starting with seeing how he’d react to this. Momentum was on her side. If she took advantage of the speed of the landslide, it was possible to increase the force of her attack. Granted that might also injure her in the process but…. Well that’s not really a think that tends to cross the Knucklehead of Iwagakure’s mind often.

Fuck it and blow it. Her nindo suited her ever so well.

The moment the wall was blasted through, and a hole was made. It was clear that she ended up in the caves. "Ah, she's pretty nice..." the words quietly slid through passed his lips. The dust was starting to clear at this point, but in no time he heard something rumbling. Actually, it was everything. The ground was shaking, the cavern ahead was collapsing and he needed to think quick. What could she be up to? At this point he couldn't really predict her movements. She took a whole different route and they'd need to rely on being innovative.

The cavern side collapsed, rolled forth and was headed straight for him. She created her own rocky avalanche which was pretty creative. The Jounin wasn't too surprised, but glad he could witness it. Iwagakure shinobi were expected to handle this terrain like experts, and she did so with incredible intuition. The man applaud her mentally, but his mind remained focus on his next tactic. His hands remained his pockets momentarily, forming a single seal and crouching. His leg muscles were preparing as chakra lined through out them. The wave of boulders, rocks, pebbles and rubble were about to consume him. The Jounin seemingly phased out of danger, leaving a trail of dust in his wake which was now consumed. Her method was extremely smart, but she should work on quieting down. He preferred silence, when she liked being loud. They were polar opposites; cute.

The ground was shaking abruptly, so his attempt wasn't going to be pretty. He took a straight past toward the bridge, underlined by the river but his speed was against him. In a moments notice he lost footing, tripping and rolling. Using the momentum he pivoted his body, rolling into his shoulder and rotating himself upright. The man's right foot was planted firmly, halting him as he skidded to a stop. His eyes were locked on the rubble that consumed their previous arena. Next was the blonde-haired woman who rode this wave, but always seemed to keep a destructive smile on her face. Beauty at it's finest.

The man pushed his right arm on his right leg; moving upright. The man straightened himself out from the crouch he was in. Hands now withdrawn from his pockets, brushing off his leather jacket and releasing a large sigh. The man was beginning to grow impatient, but he held it by a thread. Even a shinobi of such long experience still faced a fate of emotion. No matter how much one wanted to train to suppress, it was still lingering and one needed to keep practicing. They were just getting started. He was standing on the bridge, waiting and watching.

SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME

Rock crashed against rock in a boisterous cacophony. But the sound was almost melodic to Amaterasu. Shattering rubble, smashing against the ground below them. It was a tune she was well adjusted to. Closing her eyes for a brief moment as the wind whipped against her face. This was nearly enjoyable. Save for the fact that she was hurtling rapidly down the side of a rather sheer cliff. But it was no time to enjoy the orchestra of collapsing boulders. Right now, she needed to focus on what her opponent was doing. Her gambit of an attack was certain to have thrown him off a bit, but whether or not it was enough to cause him any harm was another matter altogether. Behind the dust clouds that formed as the landslide slammed into the ground with a force even the Yutakako would admire, she could make out the black frame of her enemy. Tumbling away from danger, Takumi managed to escape the waterfall of stone that bore down on the cavern in which they had been fighting. A little dusty, as things go, but he was no worse for the wear than that.

With a slightly exasperated sigh, she fell. Kicking off the battered stone she had surfed down just as it slammed into the ground. Landing on one the unstable ground, she stumbled a bit. "Ah, yo.” She quickly recovered herself and raised her arms to place them behind her head. The dust that had been kicked up by the little show of power had settled at this point.
"Blue, yo... You’re a real pain, ya know that?” Unfortunately, her attack had been met with another fine failure. What would she do next? She was running out of time. If she failed to accomplish her goal any longer there’s no way she’d be able to protect the mi-…

Her eyes widened somewhat as the thought finally crossed her mind.
"Ah!” She stammered, her smile disappearing into an a-gape look of horror. "Ahhhh, yo!” She let out an idiotic squeal as she whipped her head back to look at what had once been a successful mine used by Iwagakure. It was now an abysmal mess. In fact, the entire area was. She had been assigned to protect this place and its resources and became so obsessed with fighting her target she had completely forgotten her primary objective.

The arms she had behind her head tensed as she gripped handfuls of her own hair. Her shirt tugged up, revealing a bit more of her tan flesh than she perhaps should.
"Damn it! Yo!” She furiously jostled her own hair back and forth. "I can’t believe it, yo! I to-ta-lly didn’t… I mean, had I.... What do I even... Raaaaah, yo!” Her incoherent stammering trailed off in a roar of annoyance. Turning her gaze back to Takumi, she frowned. Her eyes had grown somewhat softer. Not less serious by any means, but less ferocious. Damn it, damn it, damn it….

With a swift motion, she grasped the handle of the tanto strapped to her back. Fine. If this was how it was, there’s no turning back. She’d at the very least destroy the man in front of her. That was all there was left to do here. Placing the handle of the tanto in her mouth and biting down hard, she raised her hands into what looked like an unorthodox boxing stance. The knucklehead of Iwagakure was going to wear her body ragged if she had to.

The Jounin always wondered if his silence irritated people. Usually he only spoke to himself and gave small conversations. In this case, this girl kept talking herself to death. In the man's opinion...he was about to just dart. She had done very destructive things today, and that wasn't apart of his agenda. Constructive actions. Plain and simple. The man stood their watching as she had her realization. It was like a mind blowing epiphany that she had failed. The mine was a vital point for Iwagakure in general, for both sides but it was a matter of who claimed it. She took it upon herself to be rather destructive, but perhaps that wasn't such a bad thing.

"Stop." his words were abrupt, solid and planted forward. The shinobi wasn't here to battle, or destroy Iwagakure. It was to uphold the villages power over the resources, maintain control and avoid catastrophe. The hidden rain village had experience war in many places. They were driven by it for many years, and that's all he knew. This situation was similar to it, but now he was fighting for others liberties. His only duty was to protect, and create morale for the village. The Kage situation was above and beyond his comprehension. That political business was minor to the support of the whole. The woman seemed to be rather unstable at this point, and his eyes grew eerie. They were more relaxed, eye-lids dropping and almost giving him a lazy look. His seriousness up'd a level due to the scenario.

If this is how she wanted it, then so be it. The man's hands were now by his sides, out of his pockets and elbows bent. His posture was enabling him to be more agile for swift hand motions, side-steps and pivots. She was now wielding a weapon? That irked the Jounin a bit considering he didn't use them himself. Oh well, he would just have to make one.

SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME

As Amaterasu readied herself, Takumi spoke up for the first time in some while. But what he said left her hesitating. Stop. Instant, brief, blunt and without any real explanation. She had no idea what it was he was referring to. Stop her reckless actions? Stop her incessant chattering? Stop her frustrated whining? Or stop fighting altogether. Whatever the case, Takumi didn’t hesitate long. As he watched her place the tanto in her mouth he became… different. She wasn’t sure as to how he had changed, but she could feel it. Sense it as an animal would.

His eyes had become more relaxed, but he… seemed increasingly serious. Who was this man? Who was this "Blue” who stood before her? Would he fight in the same fashion he had up until now? She wasn’t so sure given his following actions. He removed his hands from his pockets. She had only seen him do that a couple of times during this fight and always in relation to some kind of ninjutsu technique. She had not seen him do anything in the way of taijutsu, and in that sense was somewhat baffled by his sudden stance.

Did he seriously intend to fight her now? He had faked her out before, so it’s entirely possible that she’d be running into another trick of his. Still. That stance… His arms had been bent slightly. With his hands out of his pockets, his maneuverability would increase slightly. He could use his hands to block attacks, help with dodging, counter, etc. He was taking on taijutsu with what appeared to Amaterasu as taijutsu. In that case, she shouldn’t hesitate. If he would finally stop his running around and outright fight her, she was more than willing to give him everything she had. She was still confused by him, but not enough to warrant wasting time and thinking (which was far from the girl’s forte anyways).

And so, Amaterasu, for the umpteenth time of this battle, rushed towards Takumi. Her slender feet pounded against the ground, forcing her forward with all the subtlety of a rampaging boar. There was no elegance to her movements, but there was no wasted effort either. Every ounce of energy she put forth correlated directly into her movements. Such is the way her body had been trained. The makeshift bandages on her limbs held up fine, but she’d have to be careful using her left hand. As such it’d be best she attacked with her right.

With the gap between the two rapidly disappearing, Amaterasu prepared for her onslaught. Pulling her right fist back yet again, she swung forward towards Takumi. But… She suspected he would plan for as much. Knowing at this point that he analyzes his opponents, she instinctively stopped her right punch, following it with a hook from her left hand. Sure, it would hurt to hit him with an injured hand, but it’s worth trying to surprise the man if she could.

The man in all black as some might see, but his eyes were blue as the sky we see. They were fixated on the woman who was now heading towards him. Her stance was different as was his; they danced. Ninjutsu would have to be switched to secondary for him to focus on dodging her. They were both trained in this forte, but his excellence was else where. This didn't mean he lacked in his abilities, and surely could prove a worthy opponent of close combat. A methodical mindset was useful in those reflexive and precise situations. Let's see.

As she moved in closer he needed to time it necessarily at the right moment. It was important to return the favor at the right moment, and make it count. What could throw someone off? "Think....think..." his mind echoed the thoughts. His mouth remained sealed as he watched her etch her way to him. Foot print firmly laid in place of her past movements, and he counted them. How many foot steps to reach him? Measure. Any form of time would give him a safe-zone.

She was moving quick to reach him, the hilt of the weapon in her mouth and the blade shining bright. It was a fine metal, abstract to one's gaze and encouraged those to peer upon it; magnificent.

The first fist was thrown by her right arm, stepping backwards but keeping a forward view. The left was thrown directly after, but he loosened his knees. The man dropped lower to dodge the strike, tightening them and holding his position. His next move was essential. As he was drawn closer to the ground from the attack, he asserted much energy. His body immediately disappeared from visual as he began pivoting on his foot with a harsh push. His body being untraceable by normal means. This included sight, and smell. It was a magicians trick.

His one arm was bent, fist planted into his left hand which reinforced his incoming elbow. As he rotated he used the momentum to twist, hopefully transferring all the additional strength into the left side of her rib cage. If so, the damage would be brutal. It capable of breaking down large amounts of coral, and even crippling a rock to pebbles. He was trying to avoid her strikes at all cost, but now he needed to play differently. Evasive, hidden and passive strikes. Evade. Repeat. Strike. Aggressive. Slow. Wait. Everything was playing in his mind at each moment, trying to switch momentum and drive his opponent. How would she strike or defend something she can't see?

NAME: Meisaigakure no Jutsu [Hiding with Camouflage Technique]
RANK: A
CHAKRA USAGE: Low - Very High Depending on Duration.
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [General]
ELEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION:
With careful chakra control, a shinobi is capable of manipulating the means to which light affects their body as well as what odors escape them, completely concealing oneself from both sight and smell. While in this state, the user will fail to even cast a shadow. This leaves the shinobi in a state that makes them almost impossible to detect outside of chakra-detection, the other three senses, and noting disturbances to their surroundings.

NAME: Konoha Kaigansho - [Tree Leaf Rock-Destroying Rise]
RANK: B
CHAKRA USAGE: Medium
CLASSIFICATION: Taijutsu
ELEMENT: N/a
DESCRIPTION:
The user rotates and uses their momentum to smash their elbow into their opponent, using their other arm as support. The damage done is enough to send the opponent flying several dozens of meters away and can even break apart a large amount of coral or even a giant boulder into a small amount of rocks and debris.

A BRIEF STAFF MESSAGE

I have to say, I’m quite disappointed with how this fog was treated in the thread. Ama clearly wrote in her post earlier that there was wind to sweep the fog away, which was ignored. It even went so far as to later say that the day was still. Further ignoring and contradicting her post. There was a large mess of things that should have been brought up, but by far the most irritating thing was that somehow the two were always magically inside the middle of the fog. No. Just no. At the point with the wing beast claw, Ama jumped away ten meters. At the point where the clone had been dispersed, they would have been a few meters on the inside of the fog, like near the edge of the circle. Even IF it extended into a useless 20 meter diameter (I say useless because the fog would be covering twice the ground as it was originally intended, being much too thin to be of any use to him) Ama would have been at least three meters out of the fog. Making her unable to be sensed. On top of that, there was no way for Ama to be coffined. Out of the fog. No sense. No coffin.

Furthermore, the mine collapse. Even the image shows a small area below the cavern and no real top to speak of. Needless to say, it’s very high. High enough that even getting to the bridge would not have gotten him out of harm’s way. Not to mention the fact that you had him tripping.

Now, this is all said in done. There have been posts made after that if changes were made the whole fight would be skewed. I’ll be watching this fight more closely. I expect to see a little give and take. A little fun. And a little fairness. They’re both Taijutsu secondary. She has an SA in Tai. He has rank above her. It should be a decently fair fight on those grounds. They have different strengths and weaknesses within Taijutsu though. Keep these in mind. So far, I fear that Takumi will be taking advantage of skills he does not possess. Ama fights quickly and erratically. While Takumi can sense and see these things at high speeds, he’s not necessarily faster in reaction time. Make sure everything thrown at him isn’t auto-misses. My patience will wear thin very quickly.

SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME

Three, two, one… Her fist was about to make contact when suddenly… He vanished. Not a trace. Bewildered, she stumbled, trying to pull back as she followed through with her attack motion. Had he… Shunshined? No. Not possible. He hadn’t made a single hand-sign. Her surprise was met with a swift strike. Had she trained her ears, she’d have noticed that she was still capable of hearing the faint sounds of the stone tapping beneath his feet as he followed through with his attack. Unfortunately, she was too taken a-back to fully grasp the situation. She felt an immense blow hit her side and she winced in pain as she was pushed aside by the blow. Amaterasu felt the wind sucked out of her instantly, exhaled alongside blood in shocked agony. Frustration hit her in waves. He had disappeared? No. He had gone invisible. Had he disappeared she wouldn’t have been hit. No. He was still in melee range. But where in the blazes was he? He mind whirred as every second passed. But when? When did he use a jutsu? Perhaps the jutsu didn’t require hand-signs? Yes, that had to be it.

As she stumbled to the side, her mind redirected its focus as she gasped in air. From the pain in her side, she knew that he had broken a rib or two. Searing pain… But that was not what her mind was focused on. No. She was trying to assess the situation in the split seconds she had while recovering from the hit. If he was invisible, as he was, how would she hit him? She couldn’t defend herself against his attacks if she didn’t know where they were coming from. So she’d be limited on options. She could… Yes. She had a few ideas, in fact. Quick in mind, but only when it came to battle; the kunoichi was, after all, known to be as such.

She deftly wove hand-seals as she slammed her foot down and caught herself, regaining her proper stance and noting the direction she had been attacked from. Given the brief moment she took to recover, and judging that it would require time for him too to recover, now would be her best opportunity to make an attack. She didn’t have time to perform a fancy jutsu, and had no desire to burn up her chakra when she didn’t even know where her opponent was. She could run, but… That’s just not her style. As such, her decision was one of the best options given the situation. Fire erupted from her hands, untamed, and in hardly any time at all was expelled from her hands in a stream. A flamethrower of sorts. Not exactly her most favored jutsu, nor the most powerful. But it had its uses, and was quick to cast. She’d start simply by either forcing him to drop this.. this… invisibility or she’d find him by other means. Then, she’d show him why she had been given the name Bakuhatsuka.

NAME: Katon: Faia Kasui no Jutsu [Fire Release: Fire Stream]
RANK: D
CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
ELEMENT: 火 Katon | Fire
DESCRIPTION:
Activated by two handseals - Tiger then Boar. A skill where the user creates a small mass of fire within their hands, not having any really true shape but just being a wild flame. The flame is then aimed at the opponent and fired off as a stream for no further than eight feet from their person.

[OOC: My apologies, Natsu. I should have looked into the matters more. Good to know that the staff are keeping an eye on things. Since you said there is nothing that can be done at this moment, I'm taking that to mean that the thread can be continued. As such, I have done so.]

The strike flew above his head as the Jounin twirled, the stiff elbow into her side and he shifted to run forward. "Hit and run..." his mind repeated the words as his adrenaline ran plentiful. As he went to escape, weave back in and continue the assault...she was beckoning him. Hot rapid flames engulfed him from behind. "S-s-shitttt!" he muttered to himself. He needed to evade right away or he'd suffer the consequences. The middle-aged man continued forward ignoring the fact the bottom of his legs suffered damage. This wasn't all though, and the jacket could only protect so much. "Hit and run, hit and run...." his mind kept circulating as he kept his tempo of his movements.

The bottom of his pant legs were burn away, ripped and revealed skin suffering from a mixture of burns; first and second degree. Second degree on his right leg facing her, his left only suffer first. The man naturally rose his right arm to cover his face, and shoulder charged out of it. His invisibility fading away as he seemingly materialized back into view. His hair was a mess now, singed and messy. There was no more sleek look to this crispy raven. Patience was a thing to have, but not when someone was trying to burn you alive. His intent was very lethal at this point, straight forward and serious. Irritated wasn't the word. He was concentrated on killing her more. Being more careful. He knew far earlier that if he messed with this beast in it's play pen, it'd get rough...and it was true.

Luckily he escaped the fire before it got worse, lowering his arm and turning his head to his right to spot her behind him. The man shifted right to throw his left leg forward, planting it firmly into the ground to halt himself completely, and then turned to his right. The pain wasn't too harsh but still made him clench his teeth once his leg halted. At this point he was stuck for a moment, due to the speed he stopped and was left to defend or attack. What would it be? Only a few feet separated the two, only a few seconds and a close personal fight. Her methods were unusual, quick and fiery. His were stealthy, methodical and precise. It was hard bouncing around and keeping pace with an unorthodox beast; Bakuhatsuka Amaterasu.

SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME

The flames spilled forth from her hands, barely having any real form. The spray was just that, fluid and wild. It wasn’t the detailed shaping of a higher level jutsu. It was merely a D rank jutsu she had learned a long time ago. One of few jutsu she currently knew that wasn’t of her Bakuton nature or the taijutsu style she had adopted. The fire had shot out, approximately 8 feet in front of her, and formed a large cloud of flame at its end. Just when she had thought that the jutsu had failed, she saw the side of the fireball jut out as if something had burst forth from within it. Cancelling her jutsu, she grinned as Takumi’s form began to rematerialize from the nothingness.

Success. Her jutsu had done its work, and she had forced him to drop his jutsu. Apparently he hadn’t taken to the fire well. Scorch marks on his clothes, singed hair and burnt limbs. Sure, it’d only hurt a bit and he was probably more than capable of continuing the fight, but it had done what she wanted it to do. He came to an abrupt stop, looking behind him to stare at her. From this position he could turn to attack her. Or he could attempt to block her next attack. She’d be running a risk, but she’d have to bet on the latter. These were the thoughts that had run through her head in the brief seconds following his reappearance, and without hesitating her body began to follow suit.

Instantaneous movement; Her muscles rippled as she lunged forward, towards the blue-eyed shinobi. If she knew anything from what she had seen of him so far, it’d be thus: He always held his poker hand upright, in plain view of the opponent. Baiting them challenge him. But even with nothing in his hand, there was always a card up his sleeve to be played. He was not out of tricks, surely. But she had no other options. There was a brief window right now, and she would attempt to abuse it.

Her hands weaved signs deftly. The distance between the two was mere seconds time. If he timed it right, he’d be able to hit her. Potentially painfully. But she left herself open for the shot anyways. Chakra pooled in her hands un-noticeably. To a normal eye, she was merely going for a right-handed palm strike, with her injured hand ready to receive an attack. She’d try baiting HIM this time, this tricky raven-haired assassin.

NAME: Nagabiku tatchi [Lingering Touch]
RANK: B
CHAKRA USAGE: Low
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
ELEMENT: Bakuton
DESCRIPTION:
Same principle as the Fleeting Touch; the user has to touch the opponent, but will this time place a more concentrated amount of chakra on their opponent and detonate it at will.
The results of this explosion are more dangerous, as the zone that it affects is smaller, but also more vulnerable: it is usual for the user to aim for vital points or joints, so to stop the enemy from advancing any further in battle. The explosion could break joints or cause serious damage with the flesh, not only burning it, but also disrupting veins and organs under it from the impact, possibly causing internal bleeding. If used on the head, it could cause concussions as well as loss of sight or hearing if used around those zones.

The battle was fairly intense to be honest, cliffs breaking, mud, dirt and random fog everywhere during several minutes of the battle. They weren't very hesitant to their methods, and they were constantly using new methods to try to slip up their opponent. They both were now fairly damaged, but his was more of ignoring pain. As an assassin he had good control of his senses, and he'd keep a good mental stability. Sometimes things were far beyond that, and he'd need to understand his own mortality.

The burns did hurt obviously, but he needed to grit his teeth to keep moving. It was important to stay focused and his life was far more important. If he was dead, what good could he serve his nation? Amegakure was a significant place, and he believed in it's true powers. He believed in himself. For now, he fought for Iwagakure which this person chose to rebel against. His mission was obvious, but now they'd be clashing at an obvious effort to prove something. A battle told one a lot about each other and he learned quite a lot about the explosive woman.

They both shifted towards each other, and she was running at him for full force. The Jounin connected both of his palms for a solid clap, and aimed to utilize his energies wisely. //THROW HER// his mind bellowed as he reinforced his thoughts potently. A large gust of wind pressed harshly in front of him to stop her charge. This mans talents were able to reinforce the technique to it's highest point. Capable of knocking over a large tree with's it's intense winds. The man didn't want to stop his onslaught, and he had the advantage of the distance he could keep. Even so, close range...it was important to press on passionately. His eager self knew that he needed ninjutsu to compete with her, she was deadly in the pit and it wasn't something to test. Safe than sorry was important. The mission was ideal, and failure was not an option. Adrenaline rushed through his veins, his eyes locked and his mind set. They continued on and on. The man was aiming to throw her back past the bridge, perhaps in the water...if not further. It didn't matter, they would continue fighting and he'd continue pressing harder. The man needed to keep his morale high, and he wonder how his team was doing. Perhaps the puppet user was fairly better than he was? Perhaps not. He'd make a promise to himself that he'd see the JITE Captain once more. The next time they fought though, they wouldn't be constricted by the villages safety and hopefully they could reveal their true powers.

NAME: Fūton: Daitoppa [Wind Release: Great Breakthrough ]
RANK: C
CHAKRA USAGE: Medium
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
ELEMENT: Fūton
DESCRIPTION:
This is a relatively simple technique that creates a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.

SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME

A few seconds. It was all he needed to counter. The manner in which he countered, however, was not what Amaterasu expected. It was fast and sudden. Before she knew it her palm had been abruptly stopped in its motion. Her forward motion slowed to a crawl, and then stopped altogether. And then… Then she began to feel the force push back. The muscles in her legs tensed as her feet dug into the harsh ground. Blood began to soak through the tourniquet she had made, dying the dusty white cloth in crimson. Every muscle in her body screamed. Fighting ninjutsu with ones bare hands was brutal. And a force such as this was no trifle. She began to grit her teeth. It was more a battle of raw power than anything else at this point. She had dropped her trick altogether, moving her other hand to push against the wind-wall too. The ground began to rupture beneath her feet, creating a trail as she was pushed back more and more. Her arms, which had been locked straight outward had buckled. Her left hand had begun to bleed once more, and she could feel her strength draining. This all happened over the course of mere moments, seconds of battle that felt like an eternity. Unfortunately, even her well-toned body could only handle so much for so long…

Whether it was her muscles tiring out, her will to fight against such a strong force failing her or simply the decision to not expend any further energy against mere wind when the real target is still standing is unknown; but the Iwagakure shinobi was knocked back. The wind knocked her off her feet, and for a brief moment she was airborne. Not sent very high, but pushed a decent distance away (approximately 8 meters). The battle had left its close combat phase once again. Or, perhaps better put, had been forced out of close combat. Which meant one of two things to Amaterasu: The man was injured to the point of not wanting to take it to taijutsu, or he merely NEVER wanted it to come to taijutsu from the beginning. The latter was more likely, given how the fight had gone on thus far. He had focused on keeping her at a moderate range, out of reach for her but not so far as to mean long-range combat.

She came to a skidding stop along the ground, dropping down so that her right hand helped slow her movement. A gentle push from the ground and she was back into her standing position. Sweat, which had been beading on her body throughout the entirety of the fight, now had her tan hide completely soaked. Her white clothes were a mess of damp, dirty tatters. Her exposed abdomen was moving back in forth rhythmically as she breathed heavily. She had been burning chakra fairly consistently since the start of the battle, had taken numerous injuries, and had been over-exerting herself physically for some time now. Fine… She sighed. Perhaps… Perhaps today was the day of her death? Fighting for this village she cared little for… No. It wasn’t the village she was fighting for. Images of the Yutakako compound flooded her mind. It was her people… The clan she loved so dearly. Even if they only knew her as an eccentric clan member and nothing more, she loved them ever so much. And she had led them to the best of her ability thus far. Giving up wasn’t an option to her… But she didn’t have much more she could expend. Her standing posture wavered briefly, before stiffening.

Fine. She’d exhaust herself a bit more. Just one final attack. If it worked, fantastic. Either way, she’d be done. She hadn’t wanted to use this jutsu. Not because of the danger it posed, but more that it was a taxing move even for a highly trained Yutakako. She wouldn’t run out of chakra with this last attack, surely, but she’d certainly run out of steam.

Forming hand-seals at a blinding speed, she began to zig-zag erratically towards her opponent. Her fight would be over here. At the very least, she’d show him one of the Yutakako’s prized jusu. She began to let out a war-cry as she ran; a guttural, loud bellow of fighting spirit. As she closed the gap between the two, she pulled her right hand back. Instead of a palm attack, she formed a fist. With every ounce of energy she could muster, she propelled herself towards him. Her white clothing rippled as she did so, swinging her fist out towards his body in her last, desperate attack.

NAME: Usagi Sanpo [Rabbit walk]
RANK: C
CHAKRA USAGE: N/A
CLASSIFICATION: Taijutsu
ELEMENT: N/A
DESCRIPTION:
Usagi Sanpo is the art of moving really fast, in a nonlinear direction. The user approaches the target in a zig-zag pattern, pouncing left and right while facing the opponent. Due to speed of the movement, and the irregular pattern, they are often confused as to when or how to strike, thus leaving them aghast until it's too late.

NAME: Bakuton: Jiraiken [Explosion: Landmine Fist]
RANK: A
CHAKRA USAGE: High
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
ELEMENT: Bakuton
DESCRIPTION:
After establishing direct contact with their opponent through a simple punch, the user utilises Explosion Release to subsequently generate an enormous explosion from the initial point of physical contact. This explosion is powerful enough to completely obliterate an opponent far larger than the user.
Due to the directionality of the blast, the user minimises any potential repercussions, such as being struck by resultant debris and even recoil appears to be completely negated.

This jutsu is possible to be used to other ends; punching the ground so the earth breaks and stops the enemy, or to break through a wall, even to cause a miniature tsunami through the shockwaves, one could say this is one of the most fearsome jutsu of the clan.
