THE RACE FOR BANSHOSEN!  Background The last few months had been rather peaceful for the shinobi world....for those not from Iwagakure at least... Thousands watched on and were dazzled by the abilities in the recent Chuunin Exams hosted by Kumogakure. Not long after the festivities however, ninja realized they had to return to their duties. The Land of Uzu has been relatively out of the fray when it comes to international politics. Their most notable members and achievements hail from those of the esteemed Uzumaki clan and their expatriates in Konoha and Kusa. The country however has been suddenly thrust into the limelight with strange phenomena happening as of late and citizens have noticed and undergone dramatic changes in daily life. Sudden tsunamis seem to plague their once fertile crops. Landslides seem to take out vital trade routes. Wildfires have been occuring out of season. Major cities have had unexplained power outages. Cyclones have demolished homes without tell-tale signs of an oncoming storm. At the same time, burial grounds in Kumogakure have experienced massive lootings, the most notable of them hitting the late mother-in-law of the Raikage. The legendary Banshosen Fan which adorned Kyuten Aoi's shrine has gone missing! The prized possession of the former Raikage has been universally seen as a sign of Kumogakure's might. It did not take long for the village to put their lootings and the strange occurrences in Uzu together. Someone had been using the Banshosen to create havoc in the Land of Whirlpools. But they were not the first to have their help requested. Uzu naturally called upon their allies to the West, Konoha, to investigate the situation and without hesitance Konoha agreed. The Hokage has chosen select individuals way across the Endless Ocean, to end the destruction and retrieve the Banshosen, much to the dismay of their allies Kumogakure. Having not been far from the situation, Kirigakure had quickly caught word. Mizu no Kuni had not seen the its best of days in decades, but it hopes that perhaps it can turn things around by outmaneuvering more powerful nations by aiding Uzu no Kuni and getting the Banshosen. These three nations undoubtedly have a race on their hands and they are looking past the obvious monetary gain. The grand prize is the all-powerful Banshosen and shinobi are ready to put their lives on the line for it.... Sign-Ups! Mission Rank: A For this plot, there will only be six spots available. To take up one of the slots, one must contact the respective village's Kage who will then have to contact me, either via PM or Skype. For the sake of speed and order, I would like to keep it concise and small. If you aren't among the first to make it, do not fret because there will be future plots. KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN THE PLOT IS UP, THERE WILL BE A POSTING STOPWATCH OF 48 HOURS. IF ONE DOES NOT POST WITHIN THAT TIME, THEY'LL BE SKIPPED FOR THAT ROUND.
