Puppetry Rules 1. Genin may not control more than one puppet when being created and may only control up to two later on as an advanced genin at the approval of a staff member which may be revoked by an admin later on if determined necessary.
2. While Genin and Advanced Genin do have limits placed on them, higher-up ranks are more flexible. So while the following numbers are not set in stone, they are the guidelines to follow while making a puppeteer.
Genin: 1 Puppet Adv. Genin: 2 Puppets Chuunin: 2-3 Puppets Sp. Jounin: 3-5 Puppets Jounin: 5-7 Puppets Elite Jounin: 7-10 Puppets
3. When registering puppets you must keep in mind your character's level as well as what is possible. This means that puppets don't have unlimited projectiles hidden within them and neither does it mean their poison always means a kill. Additionally, puppets created by a Genin are more likely to have more simple weapons/mechanisms than puppets created by a Jounin.
4. If any poison is used within a puppet, its effects on the opponent and how long it takes to act must be noted. Lower-rank shinobi will have to use weaker poisons while more experienced shinobi will know how to make stronger poisons. The poison must adhere to the Poison Rules.
5. The maximum number of puppets a human can control at any one time is ten. There may be exceptions to the rule, but only if a logical reason is given, and even then such exceptions will be very limited.
6. Puppet users who utilize sealing scrolls to hold their puppets must have the puppet summoning technique for their character. Without it, you must carry your puppet(s) around on your back or in some other manner.
7. When registering your puppets you must note where in the puppet weapons/devices are located and must also list the material in which the puppet has been made from.
8. The maximum range of normal puppetry is no more than one hundred yards/91 meters per rank. (100yd/91m - Genin, 200yd/182m - Chuunin, 300yd/274m - Sp. Jounin, 400yd/365m - Jounin & 500yd/457m Elite Jounin.)
9. Puppeteers may register custom puppetry ninjutsu. These techniques may include specific attacks/combination attacks for their puppets. While a puppeteer is generally capable of performing these attacks/combinations without the technique; by registering it as an actual jutsu and purchasing it they can perform that specific attack or combination in a much faster manner as well as potentially being more accurate, powerful, or otherwise efficient. This also means though that any attack/combination attack not registered as a jutsu will be fairly slow compared to the speed they might be able to perform it. |
