All of the Boku Sōsa techniques are weak when up against Suiton. If any of the jutsu from the line is attacked or countered by water, it will require the creator to use more chakra to maintain the jutsu.

The following techniques, while falling under the Boku Sōsa techniques, don't deal with drawings of creatures. They mostly involve manipulating an amount of the Souzouteki's special-made ink directly instead of summoning drawings forth and controlling them. They fall underneath both the Ninjutsu and the Fūinjutsu categories.

DESCRIPTION:

After forming the required handseal, the user will hold it. The ink before them will lift off of whatever surface it is upon, be it paper, stone, earth, or skin, and funnel itself back into the container of the user's choice. This allows the user to recycle their ink and paper, if needed, or bring back ink from destroyed creations. Unfortunately, this technique will only work on the Souzouteki's special-made ink and not on plain ink that the rest of the world uses.

DESCRIPTION:

A useful ability that the user can utilize to restrain an opponent. By dumping a container ink either directly onto the ground or upon a placed scroll, the user will flow chakra into the ink and command it to move. The ink will form tendrils that surge forwards at a quick speed [Similar to Primary-Taijutsu Advanced Genin] and attempt to wrap around the opponent's limbs.

Once they have wrapped around the arms and/or legs of the target, they will constrict, dragging them towards the ground and restricting their movements. The tendrils are only able to restrain one person at a time and hold them with the strength of unenhanced metal chains.

DESCRIPTION:

Gathering chakra and performing the handseals, the user will channel the energy into a container of ink and form the liquid into a shape that is identically similar to the user's appearance, albeit made completely out of ink. These clones are much more resilient than the common clones that are taught to every ninja, as these have tangibility and are able to handle a decent amount of hits before failing. The Ink Clones can't use any sort of jutsu, as they have no chakra system, but they can use physical attacks, such as punches and kicks.

The amount of clones that can be created is directly based on how much ink the user has available, but the most common is for a user to create one or two clones. Any more would require more ink and more chakra to be used, and only 10 clones can be made at maximum.

DESCRIPTION:

The user will paint a message onto a scroll and once chakra is channeled into it, the message will morph and pop up into the form of a Chōjū Giga animal, usually a mouse or a sparrow. The animal can then be given basic instructions, such as 'deliver to so-and-so'. Once it arrives, the creation delivers the message by reattaching itself to a blank scroll, random scrap of paper, or a flat surface and reverting back into the message. The creation will not reveal its message before it has reached its destination. But, as it has no combat or defensive capabilities, the message can easily be destroyed by an enemy if it is detected. Depending on how long the message is, and how far the creation has to travel will affect the amount of chakra used. If the creation that is supposed to deliver the message is destroyed, then the message is gone.

DESCRIPTION:

After forming the needed handseals, the user funnels their chakra into their ink and molds it into the shape of a weapon which they can then use. In order to properly utilize the Chōjū Boki technique properly, the user must have at least a basic understanding about that shape of the weapon they desire to copy, such as having handled the real weapon beforehand, otherwise, it will just come out looking warped and unnatural. No matter the strength or size of the weapon created, they will only be able to stay formed for approximately ten connecting blows before dissolving back into its liquid form.

These creations will have the same weight and density as the copied weapon, but will not be able to copy any of the weapons special capabilities if it should have any. The larger, or heavier, the weapon created, the more chakra needs to be funneled into the ink. Creators are limited by their own strength when it comes to copying weapons, so someone without an Enhanced Strength Ability would not be able to wield a copied weapon where the original required such a Special Ability.

DESCRIPTION:

Utilizing both the Karada Fuinjutsu as well as the Souzouteki's ability to manipulate ink, the Clan member will seal a number of their Ink Beast into their skin in the form of tattoos. As the beasts have been formed ahead of time, using this technique will negate any extra time needed to summon a creature while in the heat of battle.

If a Beast manages to survive the battle intact, they can once again be sealed back onto the Souzouteki's skin. But if the creature is destroyed in battle, it will need to be manually redrawn and tattooed back onto them afterward.

The higher the rank of the beast being sealed, the more chakra one must spend to seal it. People sealing the jutsu into their skin are limited to the Ink Beasts they know how to create and control. A senior member of the clan would be unable to seal in an advanced Beast onto a younger member of the clan.

DESCRIPTION:

Much more versatile than its lesser form, this jutsu is created by pouring a large amount of ink from its container and onto the ground, funneling chakra into it as it is poured. Tendrils will surge forwards at incredible speeds and move to grab at the opponents' limbs.

The tendrils will stiffen and contract, pulling those captured towards the ground and severely restrict their movements. This can restrain only one person at a time. One would need incredible strength to break from the tendrils, as they have a durability akin to that of chakra-enhanced steel chains.

DESCRIPTION:

Making use of giant scrolls and paintbrushes, the user will paint one of the larger Chōjū Giga beasts upon it, usually the Tiger or the Dragon. They will then channel chakra into the drawing and it will rise from the scroll, still attached, to attack a single opponent with a 10m radius. The beast will sink teeth and claws into the opponent and drag them back towards the scroll to trap them within.

Once in the scroll, it is near impossible for the person trapped inside to free themselves as they are completely immobile, but also completely impervious to harm. Even if the scroll was to be destroyed, all that would accomplish is to free the person trapped inside. The only true ways for a trapped person to escape is for the scroll to be destroyed or for the seal to be released, either by the user canceling it or running out of chakra.

Due to the sheer enormity needed for the drawing to effectively trap a human being within the scroll, using this jutsu is a long process. It will take the user 2 posting rounds to draw out their beast, during which they will need to remain stationary. As such this jutsu is usually only used when the user can either provide defense for themselves or have someone to keep enemies off of them while they are drawing.

BOKU SŌSA: CHŌJŪ GIGA

This category of jutsu specializes in the creation of animals. While they can exist as separate ninjutsu, each one of the animals can be implemented with fūinjutsu, if the user is capable of using Boku Sōsa: Hikin Fūinjutsu [Ink Manipulation: Generic Sealing Technique], basically creating moving, animal-sized seals, which can be useful in delivering covert messages or setting up ambushes.

DESCRIPTION:

Alone, the mouse is virtually useless for everything besides covert message delivery. Usually, they're created by children to use in pranks. The mice are capable of communicating with their creator, what they’ve seen which make them excellent for scouting out an area. If created en masse, they can swarm across an area to search for a target much faster than the user would be able to on their own. The mouse can be destroyed by a single blow, but they are quite agile, so they can dodge. On average, a mouse is approximately 13cm in length.

A small creation that has no offensive or defensive capabilities. Most are used for covert message delivery, the fact that they can fly makes them a better choice than the mouse creation. If utilized correctly, the sparrow can also be used to distract an opponent. Sparrows are weak and can be destroyed with a single hit. Their wings allow them decent speed and agility, so they can also dodge. The sparrows are around 15cm when created.

DESCRIPTION:

The bat has slight more combat capability than either of its predecessor jutsu. The bat is rather tiny, however, only 10cm in length with a 40cm wingspan. It is capable of biting victims, but the teeth can only cause superficial wounds and can only bite through thin fabric. It is capable of swooping in at quick speeds and smashing itself into the opponent’s face. If the bat connects, the bat will revert back into its liquid state meaning that the opponent will need to pause to clear their eyes of the ink.

The owl is quite useful for Souzouteki who are beginning to use their hijutsu for combat situations. The owl is a fast moving creation reaching speeds similar to Primary Taijutsu Chuunin. Owls tend to be 64cm in length and they have large wingspans [around 153cm] and can use their wings to buffet their opponents. While owls do have sharp talons, they have trouble utilizing them while in flight, only able to swipe and create superficial wounds. But should they manage to get their claws around a person’s limb they can leave deep puncture wounds behind.

DESCRIPTION:

The dog is favorite among the younger members of the Clan due to, not only their adorableness, but also their versatileness. They can be used by themselves or in groups to attack enemies with teeth and claws. Their bite is quite powerful, able to bite through most fabrics and pierce through into the flesh beneath. Their bite force is also powerful, meaning making them let go is a chore. While dogs can vary in size and shape somewhat depending on the person creating them, their strength remains the same for all designs. On average a dog will be approximately 71cm in length at the withers and tend to weigh around 56kg. They are quite quick [around Tai Primary Adv. Genin speed] and use their speeds to close in and overwhelm their opponents.

DESCRIPTION:

The user can create a snake hoard by drawing snakes upon their scroll. They’ll surge off the paper and move at quick speeds [similar to Primary Tai Genin] towards their target. Each snake averages around 1½m in length and have a width of about 18cm. The swarm and attempt to overwhelm the enemy. If they manage to get on the target, they’ll dig their fangs in past fabric and latch on and will not let go easily. While the snakes can be pulled off, they leave behind gashes [approximately 2” deep] in the enemy’s flesh. The more snake created in the hoard, the more chakra is spent. The maximum amount of snakes that can be created at once is 15.

DESCRIPTION:

The fish has absolutely no use in combat, but it is extremely useful for sending covert messages through water sources. Due to being formed within water, the fish requires slightly more chakra to maintain its shape, which is why it's considered more advanced despite being non-combatant. It can’t swim very fast but creates very little noise while traveling through water. They aren't very large creations, only having a max of 80cm in length. Learning to create the fish is necessary to learn much stronger water-capable jutsu.

Created primarily as a form of defense. The turtle is not a quick mover at all but is incredibly sturdy. The 1½m wide shell is incredibly hard and can defend against almost all weaker attacks. It can hold up against attacks of decent strength, but only once or twice, before dissolving back into ink. Unfortunately, the turtle is not mobile at all, so it is quite easy for an opponent to sidestep it and reach the user around the back.

DESCRIPTION:

Another popular beast that is used among the Clan members, the lion is an extremely useful creation. They’re much larger and much stronger than the dog, topping off around 1m at the shoulder and have a length of 2m from nose to the base of the tail. They have very powerful jaws with a biting force capable of piercing through leather armor with ease and even denting metal armor, meaning few things that get caught in their jaws have little chance of escaping unscathed. The lions are incredibly fast reaching top speeds matching that of Primary Taijutsu Chuunin.

DESCRIPTION:

Much larger than its real-life counterpart, the mole reaches up to 70cm in length and stands 15cm at the shoulder. They have wicked claws at the end of each of their large paws, each measuring up to 5cm in length. It's not a heavy creation, only coming in at around 9kg, but they make up for their lack of mass with their underground guerrilla tactics.

The mole is pretty much useless above ground, but when drawn and summoned forth, they will immediately burrow down into the ground and away from the battle. While they cannot tunnel through solid stone, they can move through even hard-packed earth with ease. The move underneath the battlefields and can re-emerge at the discretion of their creator. When they pop up, they'll use their giant claws to grab onto the enemy and drag them partially back under the ground, stopping the enemy's movements for a time.

Moles aren't the strongest creatures, but their gripping power is impressive. They'll attempt to hold onto the captured person until the leg is forcefully ripped from them or their creator successfully connects an attack on the enemy. Of course, if the opponent tries to pull their leg out of the mole's grasp, most likely the mole's claws will leave behind deep scratches in their skin.

A much larger bird than the sparrow or owl, reaching 2½m in length with a wingspan of 6½m. The hawk is quick and agile, despite its size, reaching speeds equal to that of a Primary Taijutsu Spec. Jounin. Usually, the Hawks are utilized as a method of transportation or to allow the user to attack their opponents from long range, but the Hawks aren't defenseless. Their wings are sturdy and they have long claws that are capable of causing deep gashes even through leather armor. But despite that, they are made for evasion and transportation rather than combat. A Hawk can only take a few direct, medium-strength, hits before being forced to dissolve, no matter if there is someone on its back or not. Hawks are only capable of carrying one fully grown adult at a time.

These beasts are perfect for any fights that may take place on the water. They are incredibly fast creations, reaching top speeds similar to that of Taijutsu Primary Spec. Jounin. Their numerous serrated teeth and powerful jaws are able to pierce even through metal and leave horrific injuries should they manage to latch onto an opponent. Shark’s sizes can reach up to 4m in length and 1½m in height at the tip of their dorsal fin. Each one of their razor-sharp teeth is 7cm in length.

Like the dog and the lion before it, the tiger is also a favorite among the members of the Clan due to its capabilities. They are incredibly fast and agile, able to match the speed of Taijutsu Primary Jounin. They’re equipped with razor sharp fangs and wicked claws that are capable of biting and shredding through metal and stone. People caught by the tiger very rarely escape without terrible injuries that would require medical treatment. Tigers can be up to 5m in length from nose to tail and the height to their shoulder is about 1½m. The beasts also have a benefit of a heavyweight, reaching up to 500lbs total.

DESCRIPTION:

Standing 5ft at the shoulder and 10ft on its hind legs, what the bear lacks in speed, it more than makes up for in sheer strength and resilience. This allows them to take a severe beating before they are forced to dissipate. Most attacks, both physical and elemental, need to be of equal strength before it seems to do any damage to the creatures. (Excluding Suiton, which can cause damage with attacks of lesser strength.)

While slow, the bear's claws and teeth are extremely vicious. If one manages to get caught by either, they will be severely injured. The bear's mauling capability will leave deep gashes on their opponent that could easily lead to death without immediate medical attention. Their teeth are capable of latching on and easily ripping off limbs. The bear also has the added benefit of being extremely heavy, weighing up to 750lbs (340kg). If one was to pin a person beneath their bulk, they could not be removed easily.

DESCRIPTION:

Dragons are extremely powerful beasts both in terms of strength and in versatileness. Giant snouts similar in form to alligators and filled with jagged teeth averaging around 8cm in length, dragon teeth can rend, tear, and maim in one fell swoop should they manage to get ahold of a target. And it is not hard for them to do. Despite their massive sizes, dragons are incredible fast, with speeds matching that of Primary-Taijutsu Jounin. Not even the air nor water can protect an opponent from the dangers of a dragon, as the beasts are able to achieve flight and maintain their shape within the water. They are incredibly large beasts, usually drawn in the style of the long snake-like 'Chinese' dragons. From snout to the tip of its tail a dragon can reach up to approximately 10m in length. The girth of their long serpentine bodies averages around 3m.

Because dragons are such powerful and large beasts, it takes effort to create and maintain them. One posting round is needed to draw out and bring a single dragon forth [unless prepared beforehand in which it could be summoned near-instantly] and only one can be maintained at a time. No other creatures can be brought forth while a dragon is on the field. Even with their massive sizes, dragons are unable to carry passengers, as too much concentration needs to go into maintaining their giant forms and none can be spared to maintain the weight of riders.

DESCRIPTION:

From the sheer size of the Giant Crab, one might assume that the beast is one of the most powerful in the Souzouteki arsenal, and they wouldn't be wrong. From end to end, a crab can reach up to 20m in length, horizontally, and 8m, vertically. When summoned, the crab will cover and surround its summoner, shielding them from the outside environment. Those on the outside of the crab cannot see the user within, and vice versa. But it's an incredibly durable bulwark, able to stop a majority of direct attacks, up to 1 attack of incredible strength before dissolving. Attack strengths below this will be ineffective against it, either being completely blocked and nullified or, in the case of weapons, being destroyed upon hitting it.

Unfortunately, because of the sheer size and weight of the crab, it's incredibly slow and cannot move from the spot it was summoned to. It can move its pincers in an attempt to be offensive, but the speed is wanting and easily avoided by its opponents. Each one of its massive front pincers is 10m from tip to base and should it manage to get a pincer around something will almost always break it, only being able to be stopped by the strongest of armors and defenses.

Drawn freshly, it would take one posting round to create a Giant Crab and bring it forth, so most Souzouteki will have a scroll dedicated to having one of these crabs already prepared so they can be brought forth in a pinch and serve as an incredible shield. Because of the massive amounts of concentration that is needed to maintain the bulwark against attacks, only one crab can be maintained at a time with no other beasts being allowed as long as its active.

DESCRIPTION:

One of the most powerful creations in the Chōjū Giga line. The Kings are a pair of large, muscular, simian creatures each standing around 3m tall, rather lackluster considering some of the other creatures in the line. But don't be fooled, the amount of strength and ferocity packed into just one of the Kings could be enough to bring even the most seasoned ninja to their knees, and there are two of them.

Each King is capable of incredible speeds, matching that of Primary-Taijutsu Elite Jounin, and are able to deliver devastating physical attacks that can shatter stone and burst through steel with little difficulty. While the Kings are a pair, both are able to be summoned separately and controlled as individuals, making them ideal for fighting larger groups or creating strategic situations, such as pincer attacks and ambushes and making it very hard to escape from them. They are truly lethal and should they manage to get an opponent within their grasps, they will most certainly use lethal force and pummel the enemy into little more than a bloody stain within a crater.

Besides their incredible strength, the Kings are also incredibly durable and are able to resist quite a pummling before they are forced to dissolve. Each one can take up to 2 direct incredibly powerful attacks before dissolving and are near-immune to any lesser attacks. Weaponry that is not considered to be incredibly powerful, will hardly make a dent on either of the Kings, and will be simply broken by the constructs if they are attacked.

Due to their massive power, the Kings can only be brought forth if there are no other creations on the field and while they are out, no others can be summoned. They must be drawn out on paper to be summoned, either beforehand or during battle, but they Kings are unable to be stored within jutsu such as the Boku Sōsa: Karada. They can only be summoned one time during a fight and once they have been destroyed there is little chance the user will have enough chakra to bring them back.

Nomi is an Utsuki and thus has the tan skin that is common among the members. Her hair is thick, colored white, and kept tied up in a ponytail with shorter pieces framing her face. Her long, leporine ears are covered with velveteen white fur, speckled with brown at the tips. Her eyes are a bright red, which can be intimidating when the full force of them is leveled at a particular individual.[break][break]

She's very tall over - six feet tall without her ears, seven feet if they're included, but that's actually average height for an Utsuki. Most of the height comes from her long, muscular legs. They are digitigrade, so she walks on her toes, her heels not touching the ground. Because of her leg-shape, Nomi chooses not to wear shoes except in extreme circumstances such as extreme heat or cold, so the balls of her feet are thick and callused - as is normal for most Utsuki.[break][break]

As is also a norm for the Clan, Nomi tends to wear armor a lot of the time. Her most common piece is a full piece of armor in the shape of a teddy. While it does expose her midriff, the back of the top is reinforced along the spine to help counter the natural weakness of her back.[break][break]

Nomi wears half-length pants made from pale brown leather, they have large circles cut along the outsides, revealing the mesh leggings and skin beneath. Over her lower legs, from the knee down, Nomi wears specially made leg armor that's made from the same metal as her upper body armor. While she doesn't wear shoes, the armor is designed to maneuver around her odd leg shape to both protect her lower legs and add extra 'oomph' to her taijutsu kicks.
