Takumi felt the same sort of relief that Taro displayed, though he didn't let it show in his expression. His posture and stance did relax a bit however, even more so when the centipedes confirmed that the shinobi were free to go. Despite being free to leave, Ryuunosuke seemed to wish to commune with the creatures further, a decision that caused Takumi to raise one eyebrow in surprise, but he made no comment. Instead the Imagawa once again looked to see what Taro would choose to do, though he already decided what he was going to do himself. He was perfectly fine with simply leaving with Emiri and the scroll with the technique on it. The mission they had been tasked with had been to find the previous Yuki Lady, after all, and despite the centipedes seemingly good nature, Takumi wasn't eager to stick around and find out if that mood was subject to change.

"I'm getting out of here. The mission comes first, we have Emiri, we should get her back to Shuka as quickly as possible."

Depending on who decided to go or stay, Takumi would either carry or assist in carrying the unconscious Emiri out of the cave, taking the scroll as well if Taro decided he wished to talk more with the centipedes as well. His own place was out on the open snow, not in some weird bug cave, and he was all too ready to report their success and findings to Lady Shuka.

Takumi will be taking the jutsu

Taro was more interested in when his teammate talked than the insect summons. He wasn't ignoring them by any means, but there was more relevance and trust in those he knew. There'd be no interest in his teammate, but certainly that could of dealt with the element difference. He however didn't mention anything about value and instead stuck to the missions goal. They had Emiri and despite Taro being rather equally power hungry, he couldn't help thinking it might be better gotten from Emiri. A person he certainly felt more trust than the centipedes.

The thing though which sealed the deal was Ryuunosuke declaring his interest in befriending the centipede and learning from them. Taro hadn't always seen so eye to eye with the blue and green flames, he was a drift between red and white flames. So to him, he needed to take a different path, he had to be a better man by his own means. "Ryuunosuke I trust you to learn all of these jutsu! I can't wait to face you when you learn them. I'll make sure to come up with something good in that time too." Spoken with a clear sense of rivalry, but done so more to motivate his cousin than cause trouble. A show he'd be taking a different path.
