Sora wasn’t entirely sure when she lost Ichigoni, but when she did eventually realize the Uzumaki wasn’t behind her, the Jounin cursed softly, pausing at the edge of the forest to allow her slower comrade to catch up. Zaizen, of course, was nowhere to be found; he had, in all likelihood, sensed her change in direction and gone for a stealthier approach, but that was fine. Stealth and subtlety had neer been her strong suit- as the Sourei well knew, given their service together as Hunter-nin. After a few moments though, she shook her head, frowning at the Admiral’s slowness- he really needed to work on that if he was going to participate in high level missions.

Fuck it. She thought, taking a deep breath before forming a single hand seal, pulsing chakra through her entire body as she focused on the distant gate. It was a fair distance to cross using a shunshin, perhaps more than she could reasonably expect, but there was little in the way of options- the chuunin and tokubetsu jounin had already engaged the enemy forces outside the walls, her team had splintered (partially from her own actions), and there was no way she was fighting through the mess down there just to get to the damn gate.

Letting loose a deep breath, Sora leapt forwards into her Shunshin, the world becoming a blur of speed and noise as she aimed for the gate of the keep… and hoped to whatever god there might be she made it.

Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

Perhaps part of her genetics or simply a random quirk of fate, Sora is unnaturally resilient, be it to physical pain or the toils of extended combat. While most Shinobi would collapse in exhaustion at having used all but the smallest sliver of their chakra reserves, she pushes on; while most Shinobi would wilt beneath the weight of sleepless night after sleepless night, she keeps going. This does not mean she does not feel pain/the strain of extended combat, but rather that her threshold for shutting down because of it is far higher than others. To give an example, if she were to be stabbed through her abdomen, she would still feel the pain of the injury, and it would hinder her ability to move/act, but it wouldn’t stop her, whereas a normal ninja might freeze up or shut down from the pain.

Whatever metal and forging process was used in the creation of Samidare, it worked; Samidare is utterly unbreakable by most any means, capable of being engulfed in an S-Rank Jutsu and remaining unscathed. Though it is possible that the blade could potentially be broken by a sufficiently powerful attack (such as, say, a Bijuu-dama), this has never been tested, so it is not known if it would survive.

Sharper Than Your Average Blade
Due to its nature as an unbreakable blade, Samidare bears a cutting edge that is of particular note, which allows it to slice through even steel with little in the way of resistance, so long as the proper force is applied. Additionally, this edge never needs to be resharpened, as it never grows dull or rolls, thus making it perfect for frontline combat.

Light as Spring Rain
Perhaps a quirk of its forging (or perhaps an intentional feature), Samidare is considerably lighter than a blade its size and length ought to be; while this would normally result in a less effective weapon, Samidare loses none of its integrity or cutting power, as it is somehow able to leverage the same amount of force through less mass. This lightness allows the user to swing the weapon about with much greater speed for the same amount of physical exertion.

Chakra Conduction
Being Chakra Conductive, Samidare is capable of channeling all types of Chakra for use in Bukijustu, and, more particularly, it has a slight affinity for Raiton chakra thanks to Sora’s constant use of the blade for that purpose. This affinity does not do anything of real note, but it does feel as if the blade were more eager to drink in Raiton Chakra than other types.

Ichigoni continued at a pace that was normal for a shinobi of his rank who was not completely specialized in martial arts, but as he had to move quietly as well as track signs of her he was considerably late. Luckily he made it, eventually.

Upon his arrival to the edge of the treeline, he saw Sora flickering towards the gate. Sighing because he knew that the large commotion of the other teams would likely draw enemies to the gate, it seemed as if it had been decided that they’d not be attempting any sort of tactics to reduce the enemies advantage.

He made a decision to support from a range until the situation regarding the enemy became more clear. Drawing one of the trigram blades, he sent it launching towards the center of the gate.

The trigram would smack the surface near the gate and activate kinbaku from it when it hit the ground. He’d aim to entrap at least one of the two guards with it, but if they were within ten meters of each other he’d try to seal both of their feet to the ground while avoiding including Sora in that radius.

After throwing, he’d put half of his body back against a tree at the edge of the treeline. Less to avoid being seen at this point and more for cover from retaliation.

Since it was pre-prepared and took little time to throw and activate he also formed five hand seals and summoned Gama, a large plated toad with orange flesh that was the size of a man in its natural posture.

"We are assaulting the gate, please help protect my comrade," Ichigoni said.

Nodding. Gama would jump towards the gate, though would likely be arriving quite a bit later than Sora.

Using the Uzumaki clan's ability to physically manifest aspect of seals, the user will manipulate the formula for similarly ranked seals into the shape of square trigram kanji, each manifested and launched into the physical world. These square-shaped objects are as hard and sharp as shuriken, and fly through the air just as expertly. At the user's will, these transformed formulas can then revert back to their normal state, now placed on whatever they are in contact with. Damaging these manifested seals is equal to releasing them, unloading what they contain wherever they may be. Even while weaponized, the Uzumaki can still call upon the what resides within his seals.

They will be stuck in place until the seal is broken, which can be achieved by destroying the ground it is summoned on. People who were not inside the range can move over the surface of the seal once it's been summoned without any issue.

DESCRIPTION:
One of the most common and beneficial techniques in the known shinobi world. Simply drawing blood and releasing a mass of chakra from one's extended hand is capable of calling an animal or otherwise to one's location. As a Space-Time Ninjutsu, this technique is capable of instantly displacing an intended summon from wherever they may be to the requested location, though there are obstacles that can prevent this. To use this jutsu, one must first make a contract with whatever they are summoning, living creature or not. Both the size and the stamina of what a shinobi calls upon increases the demand of chakra they must spend to perform the jutsu.

Zaizen would be pretty much out of the way of any patrols because the fighting had started and that was very obvious between the large plumes of fire, explosions and the sudden sound of arrows descending by the hundreds upon the field. He would not need to sense this as it would be quite visible and he would be quite lucky to not be in the way of it all. It was questionable whether the approach of this team was a good idea or not anyway, since it was premature to the actual plan.

Sora would shunshin to the gate, somewhere between all the fighting having started and the departure from the gate before the groups arrival *at* the gate, which meant she would likely be met with a flurry of arrows that she would not be able to dodge due to her hasty approach.

Fortunately for her, the guards seemed to have been taken care of, but she had a totally different danger to deal with now. There seemed to be a strange movement coming towards her as well - not that she would have much time to react to it. She would have to enter the Keep.

Ichigoni would not need to act against the guards since there were none to react against even from a distance. But the summoning of the beast would be helpful even if it would be a little late on arrival.

The guards are gone or taken care of by Keiji at this point. However, Sora arrives on the heels of the volley of arrows therefore taking a few hits before she is able to slip inside - you can decide where she gets hit but at least four arrows would embed themselves at this proximity and the rashness with which she acted. Ichigoni does not need to use kinbaku logically therefore the technique goes unused, but the summon can enter the Keep with Sora prior to the arrival of the barreling chunin/sp.j team avoiding the arrow volley. Zaizen is off to the side and can see all the action but can do nothing about it at this point in time

The fighting and explosions could be heard now from Zaizen's location as he approached the keep from the east through the forest arrows could be seen flying through the air in various directions as he used the cover of the trees as protection from them and avoided the ones that could be avoided by adjusting his movements as he ran towards the keep. he kept using his sensory skills to sense the presence of all the active chakra signatures close to his location Zaizen continued to use his sensory as he moved to avoid the enemy getting close to him using his speed to avoid them getting close to him while he moved forward. While the majority of the enemy seemed to be concentrated near the gate, near to the fire and explosions, it was better to be wise and and avoid the odd enemy that would try to get close, but it seemed pointless with someone like Zaizen.

Zaizen had come from the west so was roughly in line with the Keep's main gate but now could see more clearly the attack on the keep by the Kirigakure forces, the smoke and fire more evident this close-up. It was at this time he could see Sora charging forward with no care in the world, but with arrows coming towards her, Zaizen couldn't do anything at his range. Sora knew the risks of going ahead as she had done without listening to Zaizen, while he knew she was a suborn woman, she might survive the arrows, it would be difficult going forward to keep her safe from further harm while keeping up the fighting in the keep, but that is the price of being a shinobi one life can end in an instant. Zaizen would jump from the keep walls and hopefully without anyone noticing head towards the keep which was now in touching distance.

[Mitsudo Soujū]

A Kekkei Genkai that revolves around manipulating one's internal density, this enables him to become nigh indestructible containing enough mass that movement becomes impossible while bending metal easily. It also enables him to phase through matter with ease, possessing an outstanding control over this Kekkei Genkai to the point he can modify one finger to his own body, a part of a sword only. Zaizen is a master of his clans abilities having been using it since he can remember and has full control over it. He has to keep to the time limits which would be nighty seconds before having to wait as long to use his clans abilities once again, though using them once is often more than enough for the Sourei.

[God-Like Chakra Control Prowess]

It's difficult to describe his control over his chakra. It is as if the chakra itself is his very breath. He can manipulate it to such a degree that every technique is perfectly executed with zero wasted chakra yet potent enough that the maximum potential of that technique is always released.

[Prodigious Speed]

Zaizen is quick. His dashing movement mimics shunshin no jutsu, and while utilizing Shunshin no Jutsu, his speed reaches a level rarely seen, due to few being able to see it. It isn't an understatement to say he is one of, if not, the fastest Kirigakure shinobi of his generation. While most focus on training speed & strength to an certain degree, he excelled in training his speed and stamina. Capable of traveling long distances in little time without breaks. This movements translates to his maneuverability as well. The speed at which he punches, kicks, dodges, flips, and dashes are what his entire physical conditioning is about - reaching optimal speed in every aspect of combat. Due to his speed, he was dubbed: [Mist's Bullet].

Both instinctual & conscience reflexes are beyond staggering. It is this coupled with his speed that he's reached his level of command. He reacts to stimuli almost instantaneously, this gives him ample time to give a reply. There isn't much that can dash out of his vision without him knowing, or strike him directly where he can't react. It is due to this and his Kekkei Genkai that his level of evasion is top class.

[Silent Killing Mastery]

Steps hold no sound, breath holds no sound, existence can disappear at will. That which makes us shinobi is the fact that a majority of their task takes place in the shadows, and Zaizen has refined and perfected the craft of stealth, lurking within the shadows, hiding one's presence, and covering one's tracks. He can even slow his heartbeat to a near halt, decreasing his body need for oxygen, and hiding his very beat within silence.

As one trained within the shadows, and exemplifying the existence of being one, he is arguably the greatest stealth assassin in his Kirigakure holding the title of ANBU Captain and more. If compared to all in the world, he may just be within the tops. It's even been noted that in a battle of sheer silence, not even the trained Kirigakure can match his lack of presence. This coupled with his physical capabilities is why he's regarded as the [Ghost of the Mist]. He kills at such a speed and moves with no evidence of his existence that one never knows they were killed until he's behind them with a blade in their heart. Even while in actual direct combat, if he's not in view, his presence is impossible to detect via sound no matter how skilled.

The ability to detect/sense other's presence by their chakra. Zaizen is particularly skilled at sensing other individuals, capable of sensing/tracking a chakra signature over five kilometers. He could also discern between various populations, capable of pinpointing their country of origin. It was this very ability that enabled him to know that his son's killer derived from Konohagakure. Zaizens also has the ability to sense passively for a one kilometer range without the need to concentrate a great deal. It can be used to sense if his natural senses were blocked somehow.

He can also sense his immediate surroundings at all times, this in conjunction with his quick reflexes allows him increase his evasion rate.

Sora’s body did not immediately register what happened; with her movement enhanced beyond the point of feeling, the pink-haired Jounin crossed the space between the forest's edge and the gate in an instant, everything becoming a blur of light and sound almost impossible to distinguish. It wasn’t until she landed, chakra ebbing away from her limbs, that she felt the pain- four points of stabbing fire immediately shot through her left side- one in her foot, one in her thigh, one in her gut and one in her shoulder. Her breath escaped in a gasp of pain, every part of her screaming to stop… but she pushed through, sky-blue gaze focused as she drew her sword and lurched forwards into the keep, stumbling for a single step before she corrected herself.

Drink it. The woman thought, snarling as she stalked forwards, gaze taking in the odd, shadowed movements of something further inside the Keep. Drink in the pain. Seize it and make it your own. Samidare was held at her side, ready, her left side aching but otherwise functional as she readied herself to be attacked, pulsing Futon chakra through her sword. Whatever was coming for her, she was as ready as she could be.

Ichigoni retracted his trigram blade, the two guards were already taken care of. He could tell that archers were atop the keep and being a nuisance to the forces on the ground, and worse they were an obstacle between getting to Sora. Luckily, he saw that Gama had slipped into the keep behind her. Perhaps he could be of assistance while the Uzumaki tried to think of an approach to regroup with her. Luckily, he spotted a natural pool of trapped salt water in the field between himself and the building.

Making a break from the treeline, Ichigoni ran in a zig-zag pattern towards the entrance that Sora went into. As he did so, he lifted his hand from his forehead to reveal the diamond that had been previously engraved. He hadn’t wanted to use it yet, but he saw it as his best bet.

Making a single hand seal as he ran, Ichigoni broke the seal on his forehead and the water dragon projectile technique formed in an instant with no need for further hand seals, originating from the pool and the moisture in the surrounding environment. He shot the dragon overhead as he ran, attempting to use the intense pressure to block a clear shot at him as he made his way inside.

As he neared entry, the projectile would finish launching towards the archers on the top of the keep. Although he hoped his action would help the forces on the ground, he couldn’t stay to see if it had an impact.

Meanwhile, Gama would follow alongside Sora. Seeing that she was injured, he thought best to break his usual silence and speak.

"I am here to help, I will protect your flank,” Gama said simply. The samurai toad raised his plate armguards up and watched the corners of the entryway in wait for enemy forces. "Do you need time to lick your wounds?”

Description:
Suiryuudan no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a column of water in the form of a dragon to rise from the water and then strike their target. While being the same rank as Suikoudan no Jutsu, the two techniques have slight differences. Where as Suikouden is a slightly faster attack, Suiryuudan deals more damage against the target and has a farther range, but also requires more handseals to be performed.

Gama Stuff relevant to situation:
Truth of the Matter
No one is exactly sure how Gama is able to, but the toad is exemplary at sensing whether people are telling the truth or lying. He can sense whther or not a person is being honest in their intentions when they speak to him. It's nearly impossible to be false around him and, as such, he was dubbed the keeper of the Summoning Scroll.

Bulwark
Gama is an incredibly strong toad and is able to channel that strength into taking a beating. He's able to keep standing even as blows rain down upon him and will happily stand on the front lines to protect his allies.

Sora had entered the stairs without trying to take out or break the arrows so they were just awkwardly protruding from her person at the moment. Dripping blood up the grand staircase and then to the left up into a winding area that kept going up it seemed, until it did not got up and a bang sounded and a door closed behind her almost like a switch. Yet, Sora would not have felt any wires or traps or triggers. It was as if someone had done it, or perhaps something else had occurred. Either way the door was not easily broken down it was a piece made of thick stone. Unlike the original doors which were made of wood.

So, now her and her Ichigoni summon companion were stuck in this rather large circular room.

Zaizen would leap towards the Keep and head inside after Sora, and if he were truly following her he would notice that she had gone up the stairs - by the blood and her own chakra signature - if he followed her he would get a door slammed in his face. Of course he could bypass this with his kekkei genkai or he could wander elsewhere... But a fairly large chakra signature appeared soon after so it might be worthwhile to help the injured Sora out?

"Well, well... Look what we have here, the first for the slaughter," A man's voice cruelly sounded as he appeared from the darkness in Sora's vision, he was smirking and his chakra had surged briefly - if Zaizen was paying attention - something was afoot for this team of jounin.

Ichigoni's dragon would hit the archers, and would partially disperse them or take them out entirely. Either way he would manage to get to the entrance without any damage and go inside. As he did, he would notice Zaizen and have the opportunity to rejoin the Sourei.

Zaizen moved at speed towards the keep as he decided to follow Sora using his sensory to keep track of her as he followed her inside of the keep, his advance had been protected as a water jutsu took out the archers from above his head, using his sensory once more he could sense that young Ichigoni was close to Zaizen as he waited for him, as he met up with Ichigoni and quickly spoke. " I'm gonna rush on ahead after Sora, I feel that her chakra has taken a hit, it must explain the arrows from earlier I saw, either way I need to get to her." After speaking he dashed off towards the keep, as he did he could feel a chakra signature inside of the keep getting closer to Sora as the Sourei dashed inside, as the door closed in front of him he used his clan abilities so that he changed his bonds so that he became incorporeal enabling the man to simply pass through the closed door. When he was on the other side of the door he returned his bonds to normal to give him time to recharge his usage of it, before heading up the stairs towards Sora and another signature that had been with her, thinking back it might have been the toad he saw from before.

Zaizen dashed up the stairs as he came to a large circular room, Zaizen could finally see Sora and the toad summon that looked like a sword user himself. The room was lit by a large touch that covered much of the room, but shadow spots were present which had been something to take note off. Zaizen could sense the presence of the signature he felt earlier now in the same large room as them. He didn't catch much of what was said since he had just appeared in the room, but it felt like with his chakra sensory the enemy was getting ready to do something. Zaizen joined Sora and the summon. " There is a presence hiding in the shadows He is getting ready to do something so be ready. " After speaking Zaizen stood in front of Sora taking a central position facing in the direction of the enemy feeling his presence in the nearby shadows. Zaizen would pull something from his pouch, using his hands to mask its presence, not waiting for the enemy to make a move he would throw the object in the direction of the enemy. He had thrown a kunai with an explosive tag attached, he used his sensory to know exactly where the enemy was hiding and would attempt to denote it close to the enemy. An explosion would occur hoping it would do some damage, but Zaizen didn't count on it as he waited for the outcome or the enemy's next move. Also hoped the explosion wasn't enough to do any major damage to the keep, but that seemed unlikely due to the nature of how strong the door seemed to be, but didn't jump to conclusion

As Sora moved further into the Keep, a large shape emerged from behind her, hopping fast enough to keep up- a toad, taller than her by a good few inches, with a pair of sai nearly the size of her whole body on his back. Ah. So Ichigoni isn’t as far behind as I thought. Good.

"I’ll be fine. I’ve had worse." The Jounin breathed, flicking Samidare up and down across the hafts that were stuck inside of her, cutting them down to a few inches in length as she and the toad summon ran up the massive staircase and, on instinct, turned left, blade held at her side, ready… as a massive stone door slammed shut behind her, cutting off the path behind her, leaving only the large, circular room ahead for her to explore. The lighting was bright but not expansive, with plenty of shadows for someone to hide in.

Which, of course, someone was. Multiple someone’s, actually; Sora was about to fire off a retort at her shadowed enemy when, of course, Zaizen did that walk-though-the-walls thing he could do, appearing behind her with all the noise of a ghost and announcing, among other things, that there was an enemy in the shadows prepping something. She didn’t reply verbally, instead simply nodding at her former Captain’s assessment and readying herself as he tossed a Kunai, presumably towards where the man was…

And blinked, surprised as his projectile exploded, though it didn’t stop her from watching the now illuminated room, intent on following their opponent. If she caught sight of him, the pink-haired woman would charge, surging forward in a burst of Fuuton chakra as she swing her weapon at the man, aiming for his neck as she let loose a burst of Fuuton chakra along Samidare’s length, intent on cutting him down before he could become a nuisance.

Ichigoni ran behind Zaizen, though he was a little slower in pace. When the door slammed, the swordsman managed to phase through the wall, leaving him to face the obstacle of the stone on his own.

"Damn,” Ichigoni cursed. He’d only just began to learn raiton. The Uzumaki felt the structure of the stone and tapped it, getting an idea that the material was too dense for him to slash through. An idea came to mind though, after all it was a material, and he was an expert in fuinjutsu.

Reaching for his headband and pulling it off, he unfolded it and with chakra engraved a generic seal onto the side that didn’t feature his father’s crest. Then, he pinned the unfolded band onto the wall at the level of his head and shoulders. His goal with sealing the stone of the wall was to get enough of it to make an opening he could pull himself through, but if that failed he hoped to at least have a hole he could look through to see his allies and potentially throw projectiles through to aid them.

Gama remained calm and still, waiting for the enemy to become visible just as Sora had. If she did catch sight and begin her attack, he’d assist her by sending his tongue forward at a blinding speed in order to try to catch them at the waist to hold them tight to prevent them from evading her attack.

If the enemy remained unseen, he’d simply wait and try to cover Sora from any ranged attacks with his big beefy toad body.

Ichigoni would manage to pull himself through just in time for the violent action -

"Lame." The man chided before jumping back putting his arms in an x to avoid getting swept away too hard. But it didn't seem to really matter because some blobs dropped from the ceiling, they might have appeared as chakra signatures on another level to Zaizen before, but now they were coming down and taking the brunt of the blast before reforming into humans. Their chakra signatures were not very impressive, but it seemed there were several that were coming down after the blast and their sheer numbers - of about ten - could overwhelm the three jounin if they were not careful.

It was an especially difficult situation since they had been commanded to not damage the interior of the Keep something Zaizen was already going against as the explosive tag shook the room they were in, likely damaging everyone's ears in the process in such close proximity and if not sending debris in the enemies direction, then they would also find rock and debris flying in their direction at high enough speeds to really damage them.

After all, the room was enough to move around in, but it would require a great deal of finesse to defeat their enemy without not only causing friendly fire - as Zaizen had just done - but also to not destroy the room itself.

Sora would not get sight of her enemy in all of the debris and chaos that was caused by the explosion, instead she would find her and Zaizen surrounded by ten individuals that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere that came running at them in a wave whilst the five that stayed back performed a large in tandem attack - water bullet - that soared out of nowhere from all the smoke that filled the room.

Zaizen using that explosive tag with the Kunai in such a closed area would know about it later from Sora for sure as he sensed other chakra signatures coming in the defence of the larger signature as his Kunai detonated they would take the blunt of the damage in turn the larger signature avoided any damage it seemed. So as the blobs started to reform they kinda reminded Zaizen of Hozuki something to bare in mind from previous interactions with them, but could also be something else. The larger signature remained still for the moment and didn't move as the small enemies Zaizen counted 10 in number with his sensory had started to move, five in the front and five in the back. With that in mind he formed a few handsigns before his chakra spread out in the room creating an invisible barrier the range of the barrier covered the room entirely, the range didn't really concern Zaizen it was just what he could do with it in this room.

Now using his sensory he could feel like the five signatures in the back were about to do something, but could not see them due to the smoke caused by the explosive tag from before as well as the five enemies coming towards them, but quickly holding the tiger hand sign a dome would start to form around Zaizen, Sora, Ichigoni and the toad, while a little cramp the barrier had been formed. The barrier would take the incoming damage from the chakra coming their way as he felt it collide with his chakra dome as well as other crashes against his dome assuming it had been debris caused by his explosion from before. Zaizen in the chaos simply spoke a few important words but would be precise locations of targets in the room. " Five front and five in the back. Main not moving." He didn't have time to explain the meaning of the terms, but hopefully, they got the meaning of the locations roughly from his sensory as he pointed in the rough direction before dropping his chakra dome knowing that a direct attack from the five in front was incoming. Zaizen though kept a close eye on the main chakra signature in the room as he was yet to move. Though as a precaution he changes the density of the bonds using his clan's ability as well to protect from potential attacks from the five charging blobs, he can't move but any damage taken while he maintains this mode will negated due to how strong the bonds form together.

When the explosive tag went off, every last bit of air in the room was sent out in a whoosh of fire and debris that obscured everything, making it damn near impossible to see. The walls shook from the force, and Sora had to shield her eyes from the blast to keep bits of stone and dust from getting in them- so she was almost completely off-guard when ten new enemies simply appeared from the smoke, five charging in to attack from all sides while five hung back and fired something. With no time to think, the pink-haired Jounin reverted to her training, hearing Zaizen called out but not fully processing what he said as she turned to the side, minimizing the surface area that would be hit by the incoming…

Main not moving. The thought hit her just as Zaizen’s barrier formed, her sky-blue gaze shifting between Gama and Ichigoni’s frame for the briefest of moments as the barrage of water bullets impacted against the Sourei’s barrier. If their main enemy wasn’t moving, that meant he was using the grunts to try and wear them down- which meant he probably wasn’t confident enough in his skills to take them head on. She could use that.

"Hunker down!" Sora said, turning to face the oncoming enemies the instant Zaizen dropped his barrier, Raiton chakra flowing through her blade, nearly doubling it in length as she swung it up in a blazing diagonal arc, right to left, then whipping across her whole body horizontally, then down in a reversal of the first cut, only to repeat the pattern twice more, each bowing fitting to the rhythm of the one before it. Every square inch of the room around her for two meters was engulfed by her sword strikes, Samidare moving with blinding speed and power, enough that the cuts themselves formed blades of wind that would extend the attack out by another half meter.

Zaizen, she knew, would be able to tank the blows- she just had to hope that Gama would shield Ichigoni enough to keep him from getting hurt.

DESCRIPTION: The user funnels their chakra into a blade which can absorb chakra easily. The materialized chakra is shaped like a blade whose length can change with the right chakra control. The chakra is dense enough that it becomes visible and can cut through solid rock and iron. What makes this jutsu so versatile is that one can apply elemental chakra into it, which can greatly change the effects of the technique.

DESCRIPTION: A rush of weapon swings performed in a certain rhythm - the user starts with a diagonal swing from the bottom up, continuing with a horizontal swing at blitzing speed. The user repeats this rhythm 2 more times, a diagonal slash followed up by a horizontal or vertical slash, using high speed and irregular movements to cause bursts of weapon slashes to spread out max 0.5 meter from their weapon's initial trajectory. Each one of the extra slashes follow the same direction as the real trajectory of the user’s blade. Each slash is powerful and blindingly fast, but the true strength lies in the extra area covered by each swing that makes evading up close a nearly impossible matter.

The Kunoichi That Goes On And On And On… [Endurance SA]
Perhaps part of her genetics or simply a random quirk of fate, Sora is unnaturally resilient, be it to physical pain or the toils of extended combat. While most Shinobi would collapse in exhaustion at having used all but the smallest sliver of their chakra reserves, she pushes on; while most Shinobi would wilt beneath the weight of sleepless night after sleepless night, she keeps going. This does not mean she does not feel pain/the strain of extended combat, but rather that her threshold for shutting down because of it is far higher than others. To give an example, if she were to be stabbed through her abdomen, she would still feel the pain of the injury, and it would hinder her ability to move/act, but it wouldn’t stop her, whereas a normal ninja might freeze up or shut down from the pain.

Bet You Didn’t See That Coming [Speed SA]
A byproduct of her enhanced endurance, Sora (despite what many would think) dislikes being injured- and with that dislike comes the intense desire to avoid getting hurt, a desire that has pushed her to hone her body until it could move faster than most others of her rank. In short, Sora is fast- very, very fast.

POWAH! UNLIMITED POWAH!! [Chakra Reserves SA]
After a lifetime of utilizing nearly every ounce of chakra in her body just to survive, Sora’s chakra reserves have expanded a considerable amount to compensate- while she’s no Jinchuuriki, her ability to toss out jutsu after jutsu and still have enough chakra to keep going is quite remarkable, a testament to just how much of the stuff she actually has.

I Am Not Left-Handed [Kenjutsu Mastery SA]
Sora is not merely a Kenjutsu specialist- she is a master when it comes to the art of the sword; after over two decades of training, her skills are unrivaled within Kirigakure, falling short only to the Seven Swordsman themselves… some of them, anyway. This mastery allows her a distinct advantage when fighting other Bukijutsu specialists of similar or lesser rank.

If You Try For Speed, You Do Not Achieve Speed [Bukijutsu Speed SA]
Beyond being a master of Kenjutsu, Sora has practiced for decades to become the faster swordswoman she can be. As such, her Kenjutsu techniques come out faster and move quicker than those performed by others of her rank.

Unbreakable
Whatever metal and forging process was used in the creation of Samidare, it worked; Samidare is utterly unbreakable by most any means, capable of being engulfed in an S-Rank Jutsu and remaining unscathed. Though it is possible that the blade could potentially be broken by a sufficiently powerful attack (such as, say, a Bijuu-dama), this has never been tested, so it is not known if it would survive.

Sharper Than Your Average Blade
Due to its nature as an unbreakable blade, Samidare bears a cutting edge that is of particular note, which allows it to slice through even steel with little in the way of resistance, so long as the proper force is applied. Additionally, this edge never needs to be resharpened, as it never grows dull or rolls, thus making it perfect for frontline combat.

Light as Spring Rain
Perhaps a quirk of its forging (or perhaps an intentional feature), Samidare is considerably lighter than a blade its size and length ought to be; while this would normally result in a less effective weapon, Samidare loses none of its integrity or cutting power, as it is somehow able to leverage the same amount of force through less mass. This lightness allows the user to swing the weapon about with much greater speed for the same amount of physical exertion.

Chakra Conduction
Being Chakra Conductive, Samidare is capable of channeling all types of Chakra for use in Bukijustu, and, more particularly, it has a slight affinity for Raiton chakra thanks to Sora’s constant use of the blade for that purpose. This affinity does not do anything of real note, but it does feel as if the blade were more eager to drink in Raiton Chakra than other types.

As the materials of the door filled his seal, Ichigoni caught sight of Sora and Zaizen from behind. He pulled his unfurled headband and tucked it quickly into his jacket, and he entered the room with the lifeless orb of his damaged eye visible.

Relief mixed with renewed anxiety as he noted blood and broken arrow shafts littered about the floor. An explosion ripped through the room as he slid behind his compatriots and it was followed by a sudden ambush met with the sounds of pressurized water being spat from every direction.

A barrier formed by Zaizen moved forwards to intercept the attack, and as if faded Sora called for them to take cover. Obliging her, he did so he moved his body behind Gama as she delivered a whirlwind of attacks. He began forming a few hand seals, and then jumped on Gama’s shoulders for a moment and brought his hand above his forehead.

"Eyes forward!” he yelled to his allies.

A flash of radiant blinding light poured through the room originating from behind his allies, allowing them to avoid seeing it directly. The intensity of the light could burn the retinas of those who saw it, leaving those who looked at him directly to be blinded for up to ten seconds. As soon as he delivered the jutsu, he slid back down and stood with his back to Gama, who continued to use his gauntlets and armor to try to block incoming attacks. His hope was to stunt the coming counterattack so that the others could keep building momentum.

A sealing stake began to slide from his sleeve into his hand.

NAME: Raiton: Senkō Mosu [Lightning Release: Flash Flare]

DESCRIPTION:
The user will perform the needed Handsigns and focus Raiton chakra to a single point above the forehead to cause an instant flash of light to be produced that can blind anyone directly staring at the point of origin for about ten Seconds. This is a great tactical move for those attempting an escape.

Zaizen creates a barrier in an attempt to protect them, and indeed the water bullets crash against the protection, spilling water all over the place. Though in doing this, Zaizen also expends a lot of chakra. The second the barrier falls, Sora moves in to attack the assailants coming in from all sides. Her Raiton charged attack is quick to put them down, actually perhaps too quickly as they turn into literal blobs of water descending to the ground, shocked and out of commission. The reach of her attack however, is not quite what she had calculated as an almost two meter extension did not fully cover the room, allowing for their main enemy to fall back effectively enough, along with the five other that Zaizen had communicated were the back line. Though they were still several meters out of the way from the attack, their comrades were not... With just enough space to avoid to live for another wave of attacks.

The back line was about to perform another attack having managed to get back and away from the main brunt of Sora's attack. But it was Ichigoni that acted quickly and caused a blinding attack to go off that made the five to back off a bit more covering their eyes and letting out a whine of pain almost like a cacophony.

The man behind them seemed to be caught in it as well...?

"Ah! It's quite bright!" He announced loudly, making the light and all of the light in the room in general to be *too* bright for all involved. Zaizen, Sora and Ichigoni would all find the light - the one Ichigoni summoned and the rest - to be intolerable, making it extremely difficult to see.

With the four disoriented in the light, another five water bullets came flying towards the bunch of jounin. Coupled with raiton discs that would make the water bullets hurt that much more.

Notes: Everyone is safe from initial wave of attacks. Sora's Raiton manages to take out the front line peons making them blobs on the ground in shock. However the main bad utilizes Ichigoni's flash attack to make the light brighter and intolerable for the group of four to handle. In this moment of disorientation, five more bullets are fired off backed with a raiton attack in an attempt to make the suiton that much more powerful.

Chakra wise: Zaizen is currently doing the worst, Sora and Ichigoni are comparable but Sora is a marginally worse due to having used more techniques in this shorter span of time than Ichigoni
