There wasn't much that Zaizen could prepare in advance for the enemies to come as it was almost time for the final battle, well it should be with the information given before the mission started but only time would tell if the intel was on point. All Zaizen could do now is follow the rest of the team up the stairs to finally get to the rooftop. Though Kumori the other experienced Jounin like himself mentioned it could be a genjutsu, it didn't feel like that to Zaizen as their chakra signatures seemed spread out like they were not human-shaped, upon finally reaching the roof ZaIzen would be able to physically see why they were not human-shaped and that was because they were in water form. " Watch the puddles of water around the place they are all chakra signatures assuming they are Hozuki if they are in water form so watch your step. Zaizen had spoken as he tried to make sure not to step in the water as he got in front of the rest of the group and would attempt to get a strike on them if they were indeed hiding in water form.

As Zaizen would form a few hand signs his hands charged with Raiton chakra as he moved his hands forward in front of him and released the built up chakra from his hands into Raiton electricity. Zaizen was hoping to use puddles they had formed with water in order to spread his attack further up 20 meters in front of him. Zaizen could control the output of power into the attack but made sure not to do serious damage to the roof, with his attack but enough power to shock the Hozuki if they were indeed Hozuki. A first move was better than doing nothing. Zaizen was ready to move in case he had to, his chakra sensory also operating.

A Kekkei Genkai that revolves around manipulating one's internal density, this enables him to become nigh indestructible containing enough mass that movement becomes impossible while bending metal easily. It also enables him to phase through matter with ease, possessing an outstanding control over this Kekkei Genkai to the point he can modify one finger to his own body, a part of a sword only. Zaizen is a master of his clans abilities having been using it since he can remember and has full control over it. He has to keep to the time limits which would be nighty seconds before having to wait as long to use his clans abilities once again, though using them once is often more than enough for the Sourei.

[God-Like Chakra Control Prowess]

It's difficult to describe his control over his chakra. It is as if the chakra itself is his very breath. He can manipulate it to such a degree that every technique is perfectly executed with zero wasted chakra yet potent enough that the maximum potential of that technique is always released.

[Prodigious Speed]

Zaizen is quick. His dashing movement mimics shunshin no jutsu, and while utilizing Shunshin no Jutsu, his speed reaches a level rarely seen, due to few being able to see it. It isn't an understatement to say he is one of, if not, the fastest Kirigakure shinobi of his generation. While most focus on training speed & strength to an certain degree, he excelled in training his speed and stamina. Capable of traveling long distances in little time without breaks. This movements translates to his maneuverability as well. The speed at which he punches, kicks, dodges, flips, and dashes are what his entire physical conditioning is about - reaching optimal speed in every aspect of combat. Both instinctual & conscience reflexes are beyond staggering. It is this coupled with his speed that he's reached his level of command. He reacts to stimuli almost instantaneously, this gives him ample time to give a reply. There isn't much that can dash out of his vision without him knowing, or strike him directly where he can't react. It is due to this and his Kekkei Genkai that his level of evasion is top class.

Steps hold no sound, breath holds no sound, existence can disappear at will. That which makes us shinobi is the fact that a majority of their task takes place in the shadows, and Zaizen has refined and perfected the craft of stealth, lurking within the shadows, hiding one's presence, and covering one's tracks. He can even slow his heartbeat to a near halt, decreasing his body need for oxygen, and hiding his very beat within silence.

As one trained within the shadows, and exemplifying the existence of being one, he is arguably the greatest stealth assassin in his Kirigakure holding the title of ANBU Captain and more. If compared to all in the world, he may just be within the tops. It's even been noted that in a battle of sheer silence, not even the trained Kirigakure can match his lack of presence. This coupled with his physical capabilities is why he's regarded as the [Ghost of the Mist]. He kills at such a speed and moves with no evidence of his existence that one never knows they were killed until he's behind them with a blade in their heart. Even while in actual direct combat, if he's not in view, his presence is impossible to detect via sound no matter how skilled.

He could also discern between various populations, capable of pinpointing their country of origin. It was this very ability that enabled him to know that his son's killer derived from Konohagakure. Zaizens also has the ability to sense passively for a one kilometer range without the need to concentrate a great deal. It can be used to sense if his natural senses were blocked somehow.

He can also sense his immediate surroundings at all times, this in conjunction with his quick reflexes allows him to increase his evasion rate.

They had all wandered up now and were on guard, definitely suspicious of what was happening here. Zaizen was quick to share lowly with the group that there seemed to be individuals here, and he was quick to retaliate by infusing chakra and pouring it out as Raiton along the ground. The electricity - as it always was - was erratic and therefore managed to bounce between a few puddles, but did not hit everything that was on the roof except for maybe the slightest zap which would not be enough output to put down an entire Hozuki...

Zaizen's sensory would not change, the chakra signatures remained, though a few seemed to be dim slightly - not dead but something was different about them now, whatever it meant when signatures became a little more dim than before.

But the attack did aggravate those that were waiting, and soon after the signatures would be confirmed with bodies that backed those signatures up. Two dozen Hozuki's of varying chakra signatures, the visual was an alert, but the sound their watery bodies made becoming solid was also likely abrasive for Kumori.

With twenty four enemies to take on, and with no clear visual confirmation on the brightest chakra signatures - that was still somewhere here on this rooftop - the jounin had it cut out for them.

Five attacked Zaizen head on with their fists, five attacked Kobashi, five for Kumori, five for Ichigoni and finally four for Asuka in an attempt to force the jounin to split up their formation immediately.

Finding himself surrounded by Hozuki assailants, Ichigoni snapped his right elbow forward and in a split second a rod would begin to form and push from his bicep. It landed in his hand and began spinning and twirling the sealing stake around like a polearm, all the while conducting raiton into the stake to sharpen the point of the stake and add a small static shock to it.

Notably, Ichigoni didn’t seem to be trying to embed the weapon into any one of the Hozuki fighting him. Instead he was using the blunt end much like one would use a staff as he moved in sweeping motions to bat away his assailants. His goal was to keep them off of him and get some of the liquifying.

Then, lifting his left hand up and wincing from the pain in his shoulder, he reached for his headband and broke the storm seal. Inside of it were the contents of a raiton jutsu used in their previous encounter. Undoubtedly it would hold little shape anymore, but he’d allow the electricity to spill out of the medium. There was a risk of injury, but he hoped it would make short work of the foes in his proximity.

Hisan Fūgui is Ichigoni's specialty technique. The durability of his rods allow them to go toe to toe in clashes with most chakra enhanced weapons without breaking, and they possess the chakra conductive trait.

DESCRIPTION:
With his clan's secret style of wielding seals, the Uzumaki manifests an iron-hard meter of chakra in the form of a sharpened stake-like rod, created to be wielded as a weapon. To be pierced by this metal-rending spear is to activate the sealing effects of its nature, as it quickly binds to and paralyzes the actions of the surrounding body parts. The stake itself actually fails to wound its target, despite how it may appear, only petrifying the tissues surrounding the seal. This works to immobilize the enemy, as a single stake to one's limbs or torso is enough to turn a fight against their favor. Implied by the name, the user may also create and launched a stake from their body, manifesting as an unexpected flying projectile with sealing capabilities. When added into another seal, this technique acts as a temporary paralyzing defense mechanism against those who physically tamper with the benefitted seal, save for its user. This includes outside threats as well as those within the seal, preventing captives from releasing themselves through rudimentary means.

DESCRIPTION:
The user is capable of maintaining incredible momentum with their polearm by twisting and twirling it in their hands. By rotating their hands, arms and body in various ways, they can twirl and spin the polearm around their body in large circles. Doing this works as a functional defense capable of slapping away mundane blows and projectiles. This can also act as a powerful offense, delivering sweeping strikes backed by the momentum of the spins.

DESCRIPTION:
Requires a bladed weapon that can conduct nature chakra. Once Lightning chakra has been molded into the blade, the user can make a 'slash' through the air with their weapon, creating and releasing a speeding, sharp arc, or 'blade' of electrical energy towards the user's target. This works by using the coating of chakra already on the blade to form a projectile blade of energy. The range depends on how much chakra is used, and as it travels it looses energy.

At Short Range (0-5 meters) it has the power to create a deep torso wound or dismember a focused limb. At Medium Range (6-15 meters) the attack could cause a decent sized and painful gash, but not severe limbs.

At Long Range (16-30 meters) the attack can cut through clothing, thinner armor, and the human skin, resulting in a superficial shallow cut. An electrical shock effect is given at any range, from a powerful shock at close range, too an annoying stinging and lingering burning feeling at long range. Due to being used with another jutsu, and a weapon, there is no need for a handseal to use--the chakra already molded throughout the weapon.

It seemed as id Zaizen's attack had not been effective as he had thought it would be mainly due to how unpredictable the bounces of electricity had been from his jutsu, it had managed to strike a few puddles of water but was about it and it seemed to have dimed the chakra surrounding the puddles he had made contact with through he wasn't sure of the meaning at the moment. With his attack now past it had alerted the other Hozuki of the groups present as the puddles started to form into human shapes twenty-four in total each with different chakra signatures, Zaizen could tell with the Hozuki's movements through his chakra sensory that they were trying to cut off the group from one another as the Hozuki had spread out with the different amounts of each going after each jounin. Zaizen had five Hozuki coming at him with punches, of course, he could see them coming at him so would be able to get out of the way moving backward as he evaded the punches coming at him.

After evading the punches coming at him he would form several more hand signs as his raiton chakra would start to form around Zaizen's legs, the man then moved forwards towards the Hozuki and would counter them with lightning kicks one after the other with the aim of striking one or two of them at least though he would attempt to target more with his kicks though unlikely to hit them all but would hopefully get a few strikes on a few of them. While fighting up close like this posed dangers his clan abilities could also save him if his reflexes couldn't dodge it.

Zaizen managed to get out of the way of the five way attack, though there certainly was not a whole lot of space to get out of the way. Still, he charged his legs with raiton and went in to kick the assailants. In doing so, he would manage to hit one pretty well, causing the body to surge and collapse to the ground out of commission. Not dead, but zapped enough that the chakra dimmed significantly like the others from before. He still had four to deal with though, and they weren't going to just let him get away with things.

One of the opponents aimed a palm thrust at Zaizen head-on into his chest. Another attempted a propelled round house kick from the side to his stomach. Another coming in from the opposite side to try and box Zaizen in with a punch. The fourth was coming in from overhead using a water gun technique from a distance.

Ichigoni managed to cast away the Hozuki from his immediate vicinity, but all they did was stumble and roll over the ground, getting back up like bouncy water. It seemed that they had noticed the conduction of raiton at the end of the polearm item and were not so quickly put down. They started their approach towards Ichigoni again when he released the storm seal, releasing raiton.

They moved in a chaotic and trained manner, and in doing so four of the five would be safe from the release, though they did leap into the air to avoid the electricity bouncing across the ground. They approached quickly, zig-zagging around, one to the left, one to the right and one to the back in an attempt to quite literally jump onto Ichigoni and distract him from someone who was coming from ahead to grab him and liquify the body upon contact to lock Ichigoni in a water mask to try and drown him.

Using the Hydrifucation Hijutsu of the Hozuki the user of this jutsu will strike their opponent with a palm thrust after which they will shoot a jet of water to their body increasing the damage. Because of the nature of the strike it does not need to be hard as the water does most of the heavy lifting though the hand does need to thrust outward. the damage that this jutsu can do includes but is not limited to, sprains, fractures and bruising.

This gives the kick extra speed and power when it connects increasing its destructive power. as such if hit the target will feel immense pain in their stomach with some even defecating themselves in after the initial impact.

Zaizen's thunder kicks technique had managed to hit one of the enemies as it simply changed into water form, but its chakra slowly dimed as before with the other targets taking a mental note with his mind of this water state, it seemed to be a common theme now which seemed to point at something else, maybe the enemies were linked to something else only time would tell before, for now, Zaizen while managing to take one out had put himself in rather a dangerous position while he could likely dodge the physical attacks coming at him the ranged attack could prove to be a problem, the electric on Zaizen's legs would simply stop being used as his whole body went incorporeal as he used his clan abilities to make the change the density of his body so he simply could pass through any matter, so as the attacks came in they would simply pass right through Zaizen and the ranged water attack would not work either likely causing the attack to hit one of the other Hozuki, but that didn't matter at this moment in time as Zaizen moved as he dashed towards the ranged attacker using this unique chance to gain the upper hand on the ranged fighter who had tired to hit him with a water attack by passing right through him so he was on the other side of him making sure to turn to face the Hozuki so Zaizen was looking at its back.

Next Zaizen would simply revert back to his normal state from being incorporeal as he formed a few more hand signs before his legs once again charged with raiton chakra once this was done he would simply aim to kick the ranged Hozuki fighter now Zaizen was this close to him.

As enemies began jumping towards Ichigoni from different directions, the Uzumaki formed a single hand seal. There was a tinge of pain in his shoulder from lifting his left arm, but he managed to mould chakra nonetheless. Finding a gap, he used the body flicker technique to put some distance between the team of assailants and himself.

It took a few moments after the flicker for Ichigoni to get his bearing back. Luckily, his next action was already more or less prepared and just needed a few flicks of the wrist.

He sent a trigram blade towards the group of Hozuki, angled to land near their feet. When it slapped the rooftop, the kinbaku seal imprinted and served as the epicenter for the five meter radius around them. Any of the Hozuki within range of the seal would find their feet bound to the floor. Whether or not it would disrupt their movement after the liquified, he did not know, but it was worth a test.

Essentially, Ichigoni was grasping at straws. He didn’t know any lethal raiton of his own and nothing in his arsenal was particularly effective against the Hozuk hijutsu. Most of the time his strategy involved sealing stakes, which were useless against enemies that could so easily cast of their forms.

By invigorating one's entire body with chakra, a shinobi can seemingly disappear and reappear in another location faster than most people can see. Often times one's movements are disguised with the use of an extra element, be it a smoke bomb, leaves, water, sand, etc. in order to hide the user's trajectory from those with skilled eyes. Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

At the user's will, these transformed formulas can then revert back to their normal state, now placed on whatever they are in contact with. Damaging these manifested seals is equal to releasing them, unloading what they contain wherever they may be. Even while weaponized, the Uzumaki can still call upon the what resides within his seals.

After three hand-seals, the user will slap both hands on the ground and summon an intricate spherical seal on the ground, ten meters in diameter, with the user at the epicenter. Anyone or anything standing on the ground within ten meters is then sealed to the ground itself, locking their feet in place. They will be stuck in place until the seal is broken, which can be achieved by destroying the ground it is summoned on. People who were not inside the range can move over the surface of the seal once it's been summoned without any issue.

I would know him in death At the end of the world Sourei Zaizen Uzumaki Ichigoni

The Sourei was not the only ones capable of changing their forms so when Zaizen seemed to slide through their attacks, the Hozuki three changed their own forms to become liquid, and were able to avoid their own attacks. They moved around to face Zaizen as he became corporeal again. They timed their attack very precisely, with Zaizen having turned his back on them and was now aiming himself towards their ranged ally they waited just for the right moment. As the attack came in, they would throw themselves over Zaizen's back, particularly just as he was taking action so as to avoid his ability to dodge them.

Now, one of them would form into a blob of liquid to cover Zaizen's body in an attempt to suffocate him.

Ichigoni thought quickly and disappeared from the area, causing the Hozuki that were attacking him to be a bit lost as to what happened. Once they got their bearings however, they turned and... Got sealed into place. Annoyed, they tried to liquify their bodies to lower themselves into the ground, but it seemed that even in their liquid form they were locked in. It was also clear that none of them were particularly good at Fuuinjutsu enough to figure out what to do with this new bit of battle information.

They could still create jutsu though and two of them started to shoot water gun bullets towards Ichigoni.

Having aimed an attack at the ranged Hozuki now that Zaizen had been this close to him with a thunder kick, Zaizen slammed his foot on the ground to not go through with his attack, he noticed using his chakra sensory that the Hozuki he thought he had dodged had changed their shape and direction and were coming towards Zaizen and the ranged fighter Hozuki, they seemed to be coming right for him. Even with Zaizen's back turned to his enemies he would have advanced warning due to his chakra sensory so had a few moments to react as he simply held single hand sign and quickly moved locations using his body flicker jutsu to move out of harm's way for the moment as he appeared at the location of Ichigoni's trapped enemies.

After releasing the hand sign of the body flicker justu, Zaizen would simply form a few more hand signs as the raiton chakra on his legs surged once again as he aimed to stop on each of the trapped enemies that Ichiogoni had stopped using his fuuinjutsu. They would likely be busy trying to hit Ichigoni to notice Zaizen quick movements. Zaizen was really beginning to hold a grudge against the Hozuki as this wasn't the first time they proved to be a real pain in the neck for Zaizen.

[Mitsudo Soujū]

A Kekkei Genkai that revolves around manipulating one's internal density, this enables him to become nigh indestructible containing enough mass that movement becomes impossible while bending metal easily. It also enables him to phase through matter with ease, possessing an outstanding control over this Kekkei Genkai to the point he can modify one finger to his own body, a part of a sword only. Zaizen is a master of his clans abilities having been using it since he can remember and has full control over it. He has to keep to the time limits which would be nighty seconds before having to wait as long to use his clans abilities once again, though using them once is often more than enough for the Sourei.

[God-Like Chakra Control Prowess]

It's difficult to describe his control over his chakra. It is as if the chakra itself is his very breath. He can manipulate it to such a degree that every technique is perfectly executed with zero wasted chakra yet potent enough that the maximum potential of that technique is always released.

Zaizen is quick. His dashing movement mimics shunshin no jutsu, and while utilizing Shunshin no Jutsu, his speed reaches a level rarely seen, due to few being able to see it. It isn't an understatement to say he is one of, if not, the fastest Kirigakure shinobi of his generation. While most focus on training speed & strength to an certain degree, he excelled in training his speed and stamina. Capable of traveling long distances in little time without breaks. This movements translates to his maneuverability as well. The speed at which he punches, kicks, dodges, flips, and dashes are what his entire physical conditioning is about - reaching optimal speed in every aspect of combat. Due to his speed, he was dubbed: [Mist's Bullet].

Both instinctual & conscience reflexes are beyond staggering. It is this coupled with his speed that he's reached his level of command. He reacts to stimuli almost instantaneously, this gives him ample time to give a reply. There isn't much that can dash out of his vision without him knowing, or strike him directly where he can't react. It is due to this and his Kekkei Genkai that his level of evasion is top class.

[Silent Killing Mastery]

Steps hold no sound, breath holds no sound, existence can disappear at will. That which makes us shinobi is the fact that a majority of their task takes place in the shadows, and Zaizen has refined and perfected the craft of stealth, lurking within the shadows, hiding one's presence, and covering one's tracks. He can even slow his heartbeat to a near halt, decreasing his body need for oxygen, and hiding his very beat within silence.

As one trained within the shadows, and exemplifying the existence of being one, he is arguably the greatest stealth assassin in his Kirigakure holding the title of ANBU Captain and more. If compared to all in the world, he may just be within the tops. It's even been noted that in a battle of sheer silence, not even the trained Kirigakure can match his lack of presence. This coupled with his physical capabilities is why he's regarded as the [Ghost of the Mist]. He kills at such a speed and moves with no evidence of his existence that one never knows they were killed until he's behind them with a blade in their heart. Even while in actual direct combat, if he's not in view, his presence is impossible to detect via sound no matter how skilled.

The ability to detect/sense other's presence by their chakra. Zaizen is particularly skilled at sensing other individuals, capable of sensing/tracking a chakra signature over five kilometers. He could also discern between various populations, capable of pinpointing their country of origin. It was this very ability that enabled him to know that his son's killer derived from Konohagakure. Zaizens also has the ability to sense passively for a one kilometer range without the need to concentrate a great deal. It can be used to sense if his natural senses were blocked somehow.

He can also sense his immediate surroundings at all times, this in conjunction with his quick reflexes allows him to increase his evasion rate.

The two droplets of water shot at Ichigoni moved quicker than his eyes could perceive. The first ripped through his abdomen and the second grazed his neck, narrowly missing his carotid artery. Blood trickled from both the entrance and exit wound of the stomach wound. The wound on his neck was less severe, oozing a trickle of blood into the scarf he kept wrapped around his neck.

The Uzumaki stumbled back, but caught his footing and clenched his teeth together. The stomach wound would need treatment, but through a steel resolve he wouldn't give up here.

Zaizen had taken the opportunity he created to attack the Hozuki he sealed with a raiton jutsu. His eyes shifted towards the Hozuki that the other jounin had just body flickered away from. On the off chance that they'd been paying attention to what he did to the others, Ichigoni drew two trigram blades this time instead of one.

He threw one trigram at the feet of Zaizen's Hozuki, and another trigram ahead of them to try to catch any of them trying to hustle forward to avoid the first. It was very much the same trick, but he’d be hitting two places on the rooftop to increase his odds of catching the mist swordsman’s pursuers.

Deadly pain received- pretty much any genjutsu if any should be dispelled on Ichigoni if they are present.

Relentless Will
Ichigoni has the will power of the most stubborn of Uzumaki. He does not experience shock or go unconscious when he experiences deadly pain, buying him a few extra minutes before dying in the absence of medical intervention. This provides him no relief from pain or function to completely disabled body parts.

The Hozuki that were pursuing Zaizen were quick to pivot, knowing better than to stay still and they moved in the right direction - it was not as if there were many directions to choose from in terms of their opponents anyway - and started to move directly towards Ichigoni, Zaizen and the group that Ichigoni had sealed in. They launched themselves out of the way to try and dodge the sword-like thing that was thrown towards them, but upon landing on the ground found their feet bound down to the ground.

"Hey!" One of them protested, clearly to show that he was not only displeased but felt that this was in fact a cheap trick! Not that cheap tricks mattered in this case, where lives were on the line...

Zaizen had been successful in putting down the group that were sealed in on the original spot. They all kind of collapsed immediately blobs on the ground more than anything else, blubbering away in their shocked away state. Which meant there was now just the group left that had been pursuing Zaizen that were now ALSO sealed to the ground.

There was a lot of protest, a lot of leg pulling and attempts to get out of the seal, unsurprisingly.

The situation was turning for Zaizen and Ichigoni, although the wine haired jounin could feel his vitality draining as blood soaked through the exit wound of the water bullet on his stomach and back. Adrenaline was surging high, and for many it would send them into shock. Ichigoni harnessed this energy, examining the battlefield.

He’d managed to trap another group of Hozuki, he trusted that Zaizen would finish the second group off much like he did the first. For the moment, it seemed like there weren’t any enemy eyes on him.

Ichigoni needed to stop the bleeding so he wouldn’t bleed out. There was a medic among them but now wasn’t a good time to get aid. Instead, he’d take a moment to remove his scarf and stuff it into the exit wound beneath his shoulder blades. There was a gross feeling to it as the silk was wetted over the fabric, and a sting from the pressure. He kept pressing it through until several inches were pressed inside the exit wound and the bleeding was slowed.

Movement would be very limited because he didn’t have adhesives to keep the makeshift bandage from moving around. There was still also the matter of the somewhat smaller entry wound. For the time being, the shinobi held his left palm to the wound and held pressure to it while he surveyed the battlefield for opportunities to put himself back to use.

Zaizen had managed to take out the enemies that Ichigoni had managed to seal to the ground with his own Hozuki that had been following him around as they just turned into water below his feet and the signatures going weak like the others he had taken out and felt with his chakra sensory, something was still bothering Zaizen though as he could sense that large signature he had felt before when they were on the lower floors the enemy was either masking its presence somehow or something else was at work here and Zaizen needed to be cautious. For now, all Zaizen could do was push through with the situation at hand.

So to try and take out the remaining four Hozuki that had now been also trapped thanks again to Ichigoni with them been stuck in place striking them down would be an easier job. So using a familiar jutsu from earlier Zaizen would form a single hand sign as raiton chakra would start to gather on Zaizen right hand and then start to expand into the shape of a raiton wolf before him connected to his right hand by a raiton chain. With the large raiton wolf now formed before Zaizen he sent the wolf forward to attack the gathered group of Hozuki trapped by Ichigoni aiming to strike them down. Zaizen would also move with the wolf so its attack patterns were not easy to track, not moving would make Zaizen an easy target in case the trapped Hozuki wanted to attack Zaizen like they had done with Ichigoni with his group of Hozuki, this is likely to decrease their chances of hitting Zaizen just in case.

After a single handseal Raiton chakra is sent to the user's hand. The user then makes lightning expand into the form of a hound or wolf, and remains connected to it by a chain of lighting. The user can make the beast go as far as thirty five meters before the user's direct control of it from such a distance starts to strain the user's chakra pool. This jutsu's deadliness stems from its unpredictability, though if the opponent is struck by the wolf, one will find their body rocked with a powerful charge of lightning, enough to throw a them off their feet and incapacitated.

There were not many options but the Hozuki turned to the distance for their attacks, using the water bullets that they knew well from their finger tips. They aimed right at Zaizen as he aimed the raiton wolf towards them. Using several angles one would manage to get a straight shot towards Zaizen, but just as this happened the raiton wolf would also make it to them, shocking them and putting them immediately out of commission. Things were momentarily silent, there were no enemies in the immediate vicinity. But something about Zaizen's uneasy feeling was very much correct. But even if it was just one moment, they would get a second to catch their breaths in this feeling of total apprehension as if the world was suspended in time... If they listened they could hear the battle nearby going on with the other group.

It might have been normally a good idea to help allies, but not in this situation. In this situation, it was likely better to just take this moment of peace and not pursue - they had to try and trust their partners to secure a momentary victory.

As Zaizen had expected from the Hozuki they attempted to fire water bullets from their fingers at Zaizen, but because Zaizen was already on the move with his raiton wolf, his movements were hard to read and predict as were the attack patterns of the raiton wolf as he evaded the water bullets being fired at him. After dodging the incoming water bullets by this time his wolf had made contact with the grouped Hozuki as it made a strike upon them the Hozuki would have been taken out, Zaizen could sense the other jounin still having a little trouble with there own Hozuki and Zaizen would have helped normally, but something was telling Zaizen that it was best to wait out what was incoming as the feeling in the air around Zaizen didn't bode well with him. While the Hozuki proved to be an issue he still had not felt that large chakra presence he had felt earlier on the lower levels this Hozuki had varied signature levels but nothing even close. The chakra signature must be masking its presence somehow.

Zaizen would ideally like to keep the raiton wolf running but it was better to save chakra at this moment in time and if he needed to use it again he would but for now, he would let the raiton wolf run out before it faded away. Zaizen at this time would walk over to Ichigoni seeing him worse for ware. " I feel the hard battle is coming, I have had this uneasy feeling for the last few moments ever since we took out the last remaining Hozuki, something about this feels off and the large chakra signature I felt down on the lower levels earlier has disappeared. Hang in there Ichigoni. It's a shame we had to fight the battle earlier as it's affecting us." After speaking Zaizen did seem to greatly care about Ichigoni's well-being something that years ago Zaizen wouldn't have cared less about, but something seemed to have softened in the man since becoming a Kiri shinobi once more as he used this quiet moment to catch his breathe and rest. He took this time to feed himself another chakra pill knowing it would probably be needed for what was to come as he felt some more chakra returning to his body.

[Mitsudo Soujū]

A Kekkei Genkai that revolves around manipulating one's internal density, this enables him to become nigh indestructible containing enough mass that movement becomes impossible while bending metal easily. It also enables him to phase through matter with ease, possessing an outstanding control over this Kekkei Genkai to the point he can modify one finger to his own body, a part of a sword only. Zaizen is a master of his clans abilities having been using it since he can remember and has full control over it. He has to keep to the time limits which would be nighty seconds before having to wait as long to use his clans abilities once again, though using them once is often more than enough for the Sourei.

[God-Like Chakra Control Prowess]

It's difficult to describe his control over his chakra. It is as if the chakra itself is his very breath. He can manipulate it to such a degree that every technique is perfectly executed with zero wasted chakra yet potent enough that the maximum potential of that technique is always released.

[Prodigious Speed]

Zaizen is quick. His dashing movement mimics shunshin no jutsu, and while utilizing Shunshin no Jutsu, his speed reaches a level rarely seen, due to few being able to see it. It isn't an understatement to say he is one of, if not, the fastest Kirigakure shinobi of his generation. While most focus on training speed & strength to an certain degree, he excelled in training his speed and stamina. Capable of traveling long distances in little time without breaks. This movements translates to his maneuverability as well. The speed at which he punches, kicks, dodges, flips, and dashes are what his entire physical conditioning is about - reaching optimal speed in every aspect of combat. Due to his speed, he was dubbed: [Mist's Bullet].

[Prodigious Reflexes & Reaction Time]

Both instinctual & conscience reflexes are beyond staggering. It is this coupled with his speed that he's reached his level of command. He reacts to stimuli almost instantaneously, this gives him ample time to give a reply. There isn't much that can dash out of his vision without him knowing, or strike him directly where he can't react. It is due to this and his Kekkei Genkai that his level of evasion is top class.

[Silent Killing Mastery]

Steps hold no sound, breath holds no sound, existence can disappear at will. That which makes us shinobi is the fact that a majority of their task takes place in the shadows, and Zaizen has refined and perfected the craft of stealth, lurking within the shadows, hiding one's presence, and covering one's tracks. He can even slow his heartbeat to a near halt, decreasing his body need for oxygen, and hiding his very beat within silence.

As one trained within the shadows, and exemplifying the existence of being one, he is arguably the greatest stealth assassin in his Kirigakure holding the title of ANBU Captain and more. If compared to all in the world, he may just be within the tops. It's even been noted that in a battle of sheer silence, not even the trained Kirigakure can match his lack of presence. This coupled with his physical capabilities is why he's regarded as the [Ghost of the Mist]. He kills at such a speed and moves with no evidence of his existence that one never knows they were killed until he's behind them with a blade in their heart. Even while in actual direct combat, if he's not in view, his presence is impossible to detect via sound no matter how skilled.

[Sensory Capabilities & Awareness]

The ability to detect/sense other's presence by their chakra. Zaizen is particularly skilled at sensing other individuals, capable of sensing/tracking a chakra signature over five kilometers. He could also discern between various populations, capable of pinpointing their country of origin. It was this very ability that enabled him to know that his son's killer derived from Konohagakure. Zaizens also has the ability to sense passively for a one kilometer range without the need to concentrate a great deal. It can be used to sense if his natural senses were blocked somehow.

He can also sense his immediate surroundings at all times, this in conjunction with his quick reflexes allows him to increase his evasion rate.
