"Thank you. Everyday is a miracle!" Yoshiko would reply with a slight upward swing of her arm, a loose fist formed in a gesture of excitement. Her words quite genuine, as in their line of work each day inevitably could be their last. Who knew what unforeseeable devastation laid in either of their futures. All the more reason to be better shinobi and individuals, but alas training wasn't where things started.

"Heh." She'd smirk with a look to the side, as she'd find her old sensei's words humorous. As if she'd foreseen Yoshiko likely wanting to just dive into the nitty-gritty practice. "Alright, exerting chakra on an empty stomach never helps with ones focus. I suppose..." She'd stick her tongue out a little, as one hand scratched the back of her head a bit awkwardly. She couldn't fully agree with 'to push yourself beyond is foolishness', as she could remember more than one night she pushed her training past her own limits.

A night in her clans complex training grounds or even the villages surrounding mountains wasn't too bad though. It'd be a lot safer than many places her travels and affairs took her too. Especially with her being so high within a relatively sketchy organization. So without anymore hesitation the Nohime would take a seat and begin chowing down. A bit rushed, but the quicker food was done the easier talk and sooner they'd train.

"My genin have been amazing, I couldn't be more proud of the shinobi they're developing into. Such diverse personalities, but all instill a stone will that can't be broken." Yoshiko would boast perhaps over selling her squad, but she'd seen such progress in all of them. She had Sayua the caring, Ryoko the brash and Suikazura the steadfast. Ryoko and Suikazura's jutsu development was very impressive too.

Yoshiko was the type to be busy and honestly there wasn't really a moment in her schedule she couldn't fill. Often tasks, time and faces melded over even the longest periods of time. She had a pretty good head on her body though, so it never took her long to place who from where and what they meant to her. Though she was very bad at making sure those she'd met stayed close and contacted.

When Manami contacted her it was quite the delightful surprise, especially as it wasn't business mail. No our apology for this drunken clan members accident or inquiry on one of her members actions. Instead the past sensei wanted to rekindle their passion for the shinobi arts. A meeting at the training grounds to the guardian corps made it feel all the more important. Especially if it'd help her teaching and improving her own students.

The future was always placed in the next generations hands after all. Granted the special jounin was realistically still within that category herself. Though responsibilities had made her feel much older than her age. This perceived age didn't damper her smile though and it didn't slow her pace. So using her sensory to keep an eye on the guardian corps field, as soon as Manami started to wait the brunette would be out her home. Shooting from her window into the sky to directly above the training field, her body dive bombing to the ground. Only normalizing her weight upon land.

"Manami-sensei~ It's pleasure to be requested!"
Yoshiko would state in a very deep bow to show respect. A part of where she was now, she owed to the blonde before her. She'd rise slowly from the bow and stand straight with her patented bright smile. Her voice when she spoke was chipper, but serious and held a tone of her confidence. Words chosen to make it clear that she'd never turn down a chance to improve herself.

Yoshiko could see the clear confusion within her students gaze, but it made sense that what she was saying bewildered. It was a hooking statement, to attempt to get the academy student questioning what more was at hand. A fight against a ninjutsu specialist, it just wasn't something you took one approach to succeed at. Though similarly could be applied to all expertise, if you only knew what someone preferred in specialization, then you'd likely be blinded by anything out of the ordinary. Usually people a had style to their combat, a means to gauge them, then make a more logical approach.

Taki didn't want to get the whole speech though, as she'd quite clearly put she wanted to get to the point. "It's better to know your enemies style, then know how it works and finally use that knowledge to win." Clearing her throat quickly, before performing the transformation technique. A subtle change to her appearance, as well as her outfit. "If you use this technique to take a role of someone close to your could be targets, then you might know what type of range, element and style your opponent uses." She couldn't quite show it in action here, but she hoped the thought might stick.

"The substitution technique is perfect for letting you analyze an enemies attack while evading at the same time."
Performing the handseals for the substitution technique, Yoshiko would wave the Academy student to come at her. "Hit me with your best shot and I'll tell you what I've learned from it." The Nohime would explain as she'd try to set the example of this thought process in action. Awaiting her new student to attempt something either clever or powerful. Though her expectations of real results were low, as academy students usually hadn't learned much in the high prowess techniques.

"I've got a lot to teach, but hopefully I can embark enough to get you more confident in ninjutsu." She'd reply confident that a shinobi wasn't going to get very far without ninjutsu. Academy students first five jutsu learned are all ninjutsu, so it was quite literally the stepping stone to a good ninja. Ninjutsu was quite literally the technique of the ninja after all. Shinobi though didn't need to have an endless repertoire of ninjutsu to be a great shinobi. Although at the same time she did the best shinobi would be one solely devoted to the art. If she didn't think so, it wouldn't of been the path she'd chosen.

"Well that's a very good question, but it has a lot of different possible answers. Ninjutsu can create a variety of situations and I'd say that often the best counter is another ninjutsu." Often in the shinobi battle it was a flashy display of power, as two clash and one heroically survives an ultimate collision. Knowing ones elements and mastering the more effective jutsu created victory, but the focus of this question was how can a taijutsu specialist handles what ninjutsu specialist could dish out. Surely she didn't want to hear that you simply needed ninjutsu yourself. It absolutely wasn't true.

"As a sensor shinobi, you wouldn't be able to catch me off guard, I've got a ninjutsu that if it hits will elimination it's target completely. However every ninjutsu has a cost, my strongest technique is rather vast drain on my reserves. If I miss it, then it'd of been a loss on me to use. So your goal would be to use speed to avoid it, but knowing what a ninjutsu specialist has and plans to use is impossible." So obviously her little explanation was to point out that a specific strategy could exist to beat her best ninjutsu, but there was much more to it than that.

"I plan to give you is the thought process you need to approach every fight to win it and how the most basic of ninjutsu will assist you regardless how much or little you actually use it." These words were sort of hinting that there'd be a lot of dialogue to follow, but they'd be more than welcome to put words to physical action. Granted it couldn't too crazy in the front court yard of her complex, it wasn't super spacious as it was mostly just the gateway and path to the building. There was a back courtyard with much more space, but Yoshiko doubted they'd need all of that space.

Battle of the Twins

Suzu wouldn't be deterred by the geyser of water, so she'd brashly charge at the water. It'd provide cover making it likely harder to aim these precise senbon. Especially expecting them to move so on a moving target through water projecting up likely messing their trajectory. A brilliant way to blind the girl of the actions, but not the best for aiming either. Taking her swords blade in hand, she'd attempt to body through the geyser and swinging her full weight into the attack, aim the butt of her sword into Sui's gut.

Guts v.s. Glory

The samurai would move as quickly as possibly into Ryoko's sight, but seeing her attack her own teammate he'd grin. Granted it was no offensive play, it was tactical and completely put his own teammate in a hefty disadvantage. He couldn't remark, as she'd be right about the spectators spoiling her action. A grin popping onto his face, as he'd faint a charge to the puppeteer of sorts. Attempting to garner her into attacking, before leaping onto the platform above.

He'd run roughly to the spot of the platform over the genin's position, drawing his sword and spinning a circle before violently kicking the floor. There'd be a glint of sparks above the Aihara, as the man would kick down the piece of platform for the genin. Kicking off in the same light to run further down the platform and jump to the ground his teammate last stood. He wasn't too sure how he felt about 'teamwork', but he couldn't let a friend get so idly double teammed.

Dead Silence

The girl in armor was infuriated to see her attack nullified by the other shinobi. This isn't fair! She'd protest in her head, as she'd watch her plan not only get foiled, but her target would use this moment to trap her mace. AGAIN! Anger fueled the girl, as she'd unleash more chain and detach the now mud entangled mace. It was pointless fighting against the earth and potential other shinobi.

The one who'd aid her opponent would send two shuriken at her, it didn't totally matter their speed though. She was aiming them at someone with thick iron armor, the girl would block both attacks with one gauntlet. The superior steel sinking into the weaker iron, but gripping her own gauntlet she'd squeeze the slightly more malleable metal and pinch the shuriken stuck. Yanking her free chain to her hand to shorten reach, as she'd charge this new opponent with fury.

An arrow zoomed at her in her own annoyance, as if things couldn't get worst. She'd block with her chain and the dulled arrow would break it leaving her unarmed. She didn't know what to do, but charging seemed to make sense. She lost her ranged edge, so only her armor could be considered a weapon.

The Nohime clan head would spot the student coming, at least she'd guess the girl was an academy student. She looked about the right age to be one close to graduation. Though this girl also stuck out like a sore thumb, she'd never seen that type of outfit. At least she hadn't met a fellow shinobi in that gear before, so it was quite the attention draw. A smile widening on her face, as she'd focus upon the girl introducing herself. Well at least announcing her presence to the older kunoichi, it was a far stretch from the formal greetings Yoshiko enjoyed and delivered.

A slight sweat from practicing her own taijutsu in waiting, the jinton user would shift to a straight stand facing the Okada still brimming with a grin. "You'd be correct in assuming that Okada Taki!" Yoshiko would respond at first not immediately breaking into an introduction, as the girl before her had asked the question first. All things went in order to her student, as to make them the most comfortable. A feeling of control to comfort them into something that wasn't always considered fun to most. An Okada would explain a lot to the brunette, as she'd find the outfit much more fighting for that clan. A sense of understanding giving the girl something to work upon too.

"I'm Yoshiko, Head of the Nohime and I'll be training you in the art of ninjutsu. To me the greatest art in a shinobi's arsenal, but I'll give you the in's and out's so you can better use it or be used to going against it." Yoshiko's introduction would start with a deep bow to show respect to the student. It'd likely be her only student from the academy to the day. So she'd try her best to make the best impression, it was her goal to get the village's good will. Not one citizen or one shinobi, but to be known and loved by the people she considered her people.

Yoshiko was an ever able body when it came to assisting the needs of her village. She felt stone determination to right any wrongs her clan name had, to which the village mattered most. Her father, despite the means for her families shame was also someone who instilled great patriotic beliefs. They didn't all see his way of thinking, but he kept them in mind even if posing a more so feared image. Due to this as clan leader Yoshiko offered her knowledge and abilities to train those of a lower rank. She'd hold a sorta of public yet sporadic term of training sessions.

Often this inconsistency lead to less than large groups. Instead Yoshiko was more likely one on one assisting another shinobi or soon be shinobi. She'd started doing this stuff as a chuunin and hadn't planned to quit, but her duties stacked and time was less available. This didn't stop her though, so without fail the special jounin performed stretches insider the front gate to her clan's complex. She'd always meet her students at this point, but sometimes on day's like these she almost felt a need to hunt out prey. It was too early for that, but the girl's attention was almost focused upon the gate ready to pass it.

She'd hold her relentless enthusiasm, behind a disciplined will to seem professional. It'd been basically a month since she last hosted one of these meetings for interest academy students. She simply had to wait and the prepared flyers would surely of convinced someone to arrive. To more clearly fit her trainer appearance, the clan leader choose not to dress normally. Avoiding anything that looked too fancy, as well as nothing as intimidating as her actual shinobi gear. Instead the girl wore a more standard Gi, an outfit warn by martial artist. It'd allow the most movement, most professionalism and least intimidation.

An ever present warm and welcoming smile on her face, as she'd drift from stretches to shadow boxing. After all if no one arrived or someone arrived late, at least she'd get the max amount of training effort out of it.

Battle of the Twins

Hitoshi perhaps too distracted in getting close would be fall the shinobi's tactic, he'd find himself relatively stuck in his position. However as she'd known he couldn't commit to a fatal stab, he'd know she wouldn't be slitting his throat. So with her concentration on killing him, he'd use the short nature of the paralysis jutsu to reach up and grab Kazura's hand holding the kunai. His opposite hand dropping his rapier and sweeping behind him to lock her bodies to his own. "Alright, you've got me lass, but you'll be sticking to me until Suzu's fights over. I'm not letting my sister get ganged up on." He'd explain, as certainly the girl could take her win, but he'd not let her use this advantage to tip the tides of the other fight.

Suzu was certainly still in the fight and with a sturdy grip and superior strength, she'd deflect both kunai despite their improved weight. She'd be physically more fit than a shinobi on most standards, as to be equal with them she had to match their abilities without chakra. Retrieving a chime from a pocket, she'd ring it over her sword pouncing to cross the pool of water. She'd not be able with the weight of armor and sword make it in one leap, but swinging down into the water. A light which gathered around her sword would disperse, granted the created water still had any chakra in it. With it's dispersal would be the water's chakra neutralizing any jutsu still in place.

If her swords light dispersed, she'd quickly recast the light upon her sword and charge forward. If the light remained and the water was simply water, then she'd rush the genin accepting the added risk of the water for the much quicker approach than running around it.

Guts v.s. Glory

The samurai wouldn't be impressed by the tactics used, but there was little going to be done by any genin that'd amaze him. He'd find himself without a target initially, but that'd not stop him from ushering his chime over his katana. Drawing it upon the weapons nearby which soon came to life and after him. He'd strike the weapons once again dispersing the light, but this time it'd almost snap the mental strings of the Aihara sending an almost spark to the tips of her fingers. The samurai was swift in hoping around the platforms to find his pray, but he'd not know she'd entered the others field.

"She's on the ground level!" The rogue like looking archer would exclaim to draw the Samurai down to the ground floor. He'd had already channeled a new light upon his sword, though it'd be hard to tell as the weapon kept being sheathed between strikes. He'd hover one hand over the blade handle, as he'd save no time upon locking his gaze upon her to charge. Could she continue to outrun him or would she be out running the clock. She might have retaken those weapons back too at this point, he'd hold his chime arm out, as to use the reflection of the shiny chime to see the space behind him.

Dead Silence

The girl in armor was actually surprised her mace swing had successfully entangled the archers legs. Sayua planned to continue fighting, at least there'd been no call to surrender, but the girl in armor wasn't interested in continuing. "It's over, you see that black liquid is not only flammable, but it burns a lot longer than normal fuels. I've devised a mechanism to make a spark too, so you've already lost in this position..." The girl would explain, as she'd pull upon her chains. Merely enough tug to keep them tight though, she wouldn't need to yank the genin any closer. Merely keep her stuck.

Granted even if they continued fighting it'd be incredibly hard to continue without sparks fire and now Sayua's clothes seemed drench. Her position was relatively in a pool of the oil too. It was time to call the fight quits, at least that's how the armored girl felt. She couldn't after all kill Sayua, but perhaps that'd be what Sayua worked upon. Certainly if this was a no holds fight, then things would be out of hand at this point. Unless the archer had held back a piercing arrow earlier on.

A set of mostly 'fair' fights would begin, but if the shinobi thought too highly of their profession they were up for surprises.

Battle of the Twins

Hitoshi wasn't too surprised his kick wouldn't make it's full effect, he'd be surprised by the speed displayed of the girl though. As he'd kick off her he'd push his hand off the handle of his grounded weapon. Landing upon the pommel of the rapier with one foot, he'd spin on his heel to face her in time to see the shuriken. He'd crouching pushing his weight down upon the rapier so it'd flex and using it's springiness launch himself over the attack.

Also spring himself towards the genin allowing him to get a head start on charging her again, she'd be much less armed as far as he was concerned. She had a kunai, but that was much closer to close range than the staff. With that in mind, he'd look to clear the distance between her and get close enough for a fist fight. He had armor and no real range, so he needed this to have an advantage. However he'd not draw another weapon, as to keep the challenge more playful.

Suzu wouldn't be in as good a position as her brother though, she'd find charging into the smoke only assisted in letting it block some of the flash from the following bomb. She'd keep an iron fortitude through the shaking blurred vision, she wasn't seeing clearly, but she could make out large shapes. It'd of been enough if the genin came at her, but she wouldn't and using all advantages the genin would disperse some form of suiton.

Hearing the water the girl with the claymore would quickly hop backwards, as much and as quickly as she could to evade the suiton technique. As she'd have no idea it's purpose or intention. Until her vision cleared fully charging her opponent wouldn't make sense either.

Guts v.s. Glory

The samurai would of been disappointed had the genin stood still and took a direct hit, but he'd pivot on the tip of his toes and do a 180 degree spin. He'd of gone further if it was necessary, but it'd seem the girl had chosen to stay relatively close. She'd taken a ground he couldn't stand upon, it'd give him a smile as this wasn't a bad decision. She'd however not be out of his range, so he'd not wait for her words to end instead he'd jump for platform underbelly she stood upon.

At first it might seem like he was going to try tree climbing himself, but he didn't have jutsu instead he'd ring the chime in hand. Finishing it's call, as he'd press his palm to the platform she stood. The entire thing would light up and with it so would the connection between Ryoko and the platform via her chakra. It'd almost burn the soles of her feat before immediately ejecting her from the surface with some force. Though as it'd complete the task it'd shortly disperse the light.

The samurai could stand upon the platform upside down even with it lighted, he'd instead kickoff from it immediately. Predicting her departure from the platform, he'd attempt to jump her withdrawing his sword to slam the pummel into the girls gut mid fall.

Dead Silence

Seeing her strike land the girl in black armor would attempt to pull at her stuck weapon purely with her arm. Wrapping the chain around her arm, as she'd lean her other shoulder inward. Her hands quickly moving to activate the other two switches on that shoulder. It'd channel even more of the black liquid out of the mace which had hit Sayua.

It'd be after the strike that mace would start heavily bleeding the liquid, but it'd pull not far from where it'd hit. The girl quickly spinning to pull the mace back up into the air and perform a half circle. Using the mace and chain like rope to play around the world, either attempting to entangle the chain around Sayua or swing around creating a large circle. An almost arena of it's self using the wall on one side as a block, but in doing this act she'd created a massive opening at her center. Neither mace head was near her.

Now though with both parties tethered together the girl in black armor would attempt to use her tangled mace to tug of war pull the genin to her.

A set of mostly 'fair' fights would begin, but if the shinobi thought too highly of their profession they were up for surprises.

Battle of the Twins

Hitoshi was fast to say the least, his armor was on point, but wasn't thick didn't over encumber him. He'd have reflexes to match and with the chains attack delayed by each segment. He hadn't a single concern as the attack was made for his knee, he'd away from the attack, but still at the shinobi making it. His body turning to more or less face the attack though, as he'd make an attack. An attack the shinobi likely didn't expect out of the civilian, as he'd shoot the forward hand down and the rapier hand up. As to bring a quick joust downwards at a part of the incoming attack, specifically straight into the chain between the middle segment and segment being swung.

A pinpoint stab delivered with such grace and speed, it'd likely appear as a blur of flickering glares from the shine of the blades side. Attempting to pin the staff with his rapier, if he succeeded, he'd then push the weight of the rapier into the ground. Throwing his lower half up and attempting to deliver a kick towards the kunoichi's chest. If those thing failed he'd of surely deflected the attack instead, his rapier now acting as a shield for the staff's range of attack.

Suzu wasn't sure how the shinobi would deal with her attack, but she'd be impressed the girl didn't immediately run. Instead she'd go down to jab under the attack, but the range difference between the staff and claymore wasn't that great. So lowering her stance with the girl and thus yanking her swing down faster, Suzu would bring the sword down upon the staff mid jab and split the wood in half with her steel.

Then pouncing up from her lowered stance chase after the girl, it didn't matter if their was a smokescreen. She was too brazen to worry about the lose of sight, as she doubted the shinobi had much greater perception in it. She'd keep her sword handle at about gut level, as she'd keep the blade relatively straight up to guard her face. She'd sprint right through the smoke if the shinobi didn't try anything from within it.

These two weren't shinobi, but there'd be no denying both were faster and stronger than Suikazura

Guts v.s. Glory

The samurai would give Ryoko roughly another thirty seconds, if choose to not act within that time then he'd make his move. "Alright, you've wasted enough time." After stating that, he'd make an exaggerated move of his hand to hamidashi at his side. The chime on his wrist jingling as he'd grasp the weapon, it'd cause the whole weapon to take on a bright light. Then with one quick flick of his wrist he'd throw the weapon at blinding speed for the girls center mass, as the weapon flew closer the man wouldn't merely stand still.

Following the weapon would be the samurai, as he'd move his hand to the handle of his Katana. He'd close the distance between him and the shinobi with relative ease. His very first step seeming to clear half the distance between him and the kunoichi, as he'd seemingly take a drawing stance with his upper body. He wouldn't draw his sword though, at least he'd not do so on his way towards her. Once he reached her if she didn't move that story would differ, but how he drew the weapon totally depending on the girls reaction to his first attack and secondly his approach.

Dead Silence

The girl wasn't blind to what'd just happened, at least she could mostly piece it together. The arrow was guided or assisted in it's guidance via some manner, so when it bent around chain she could guess the entangle. She wouldn't however have the time to immediately yank her weapon back and thus she'd have to yank for it's return after the arrow pierced the ground. She was no weakling, so it'd not take to many pulls to dislodge the arrow holding a part of the chain down. How much resistance the shinobi added would be another story.

Granted the girl wasn't interested in giving the kunoichi much time to monopolize on the one entangled chain, as she'd begin swinging the other mace. Sweeping it over her head so it could get a nice arch before attempting to let it swing at a range to strike the shinobi from the side. If Sayua focused upon this attack, then the girl in armor would use more focus to yank her caught chain back and hopefully break the wire. If the focus remained on the entangled weapon, then she'd use all her skill to guide the second attack into landing a good hit upon the archer.

Fair Fights

Yoshiko would watch with excitement, as her team would pick their sparring partners. She'd be proud of all her genin too, as Suikazura risked splitting her chakra to take on twice the numbers. Even with that seemed to pick the most likely to work well together, then despite doing so rudely, Ryoko would choose the oldest and likely most experienced of the partners. Brazen for sure. After that it'd be Sayua who'd not only pick an interesting and tough looking opponent, she'd do so with cordial nature of a could be diplomat. Shaking with slight jitters, the brunette was reminded her place as her student would ask for direction. "Well... I don't really know it's more their ritual." Yoshiko would state taking a pose to think.

It'd be then that the nervous attendant who'd greeted them would speak up. "The church was designed to be fought in, it's one of the largest clearest within the city. Rivaling even the tournament grounds. You'll all be fighting in here and you'll all be able to do it at the same time. We've designed the place with spars in mind, it's in away our way of worship." The woman explained, as she'd walk past the shinobi towards the podium. The Right of Slaughter standing place, but those people not chosen would turn around from the shinobi. None taking a lead, but where the followers went to the very back, the attendant woman would go behind the podium.

Pulling a leveler, a system of gears could be heard through the walls. As chains would lower platforms from the ceiling, it'd add not only more places to fight, but create an added level of movement. One in each corner of where the pews would of been had it been a normal church, each about the size of a boxing ring and each held about fourteen feet off the ground. A middle platform fitting about dead center of the building, it'd be about seven feet off the ground and create an easier jump to get up to the other platforms. Above each platform was another ten more feet up and above those the same. Finally the roof would be above that, but a good distance. These platforms each held up by very thick metal chains.

Yoshiko would watch with slight awe at the unique design of the building, it was more than she expected. However as it'd finished she'd realize she was out of place and move out the way. Once everyone separated to face up and spar off, then the attendant would place their hand on a ornament atop the podium. Pulling a chime out of their robe they'd declare the fights begin. "In Hikari's name, may your fights enlighten you, BEGIN!" She'd state before ringing her chime, but as the chime rang something odd would occur. The ornament would light up and swiftly following it'd seem all the windows and glass in the building followed. The light was bright and seemingly out of nowhere. Quickly making the church interior impressively lit with barely a notable shadow left.

Battle of the Twins

Farthest from the door out and closest to the podium, it'd be nothing but growing tension as the four starred each other down. "I'll take one piece you take three piece..." Suzu stated clenching the handle of her sword with both hands, the leather wrapped around it making a notable sound under the girls strong grip.

"Heard..." Hitoshi replied, but he'd seem to be scanning back forth between both identical kunoichi. It'd be more clear he heard his sister when the order to start was made. He'd waste no time rushing in at a lowered stance. His right hand holding the handle of his rapier, as his left was merely held up at shoulder length. His gauntlet as a shield, as the metal of his glove acted an almost guide to the sword. His rapier held backwards and up as he'd rest the end of the blade in his left hand above his fingers and thumb lightly hovering over it.

Where the boy charged in with an almost defensive stance created by his arm and merely a rapier prepared to joust. His sister would follow with a much more aggressive charge. She'd split from her brother and came from her brothers right towards the Suikazura with the wooden staff. She'd immediately pull her sword back and over her shoulder, as to swing it down vertically from her right. It'd seem at first she was going to just attempt to cut the shinobi in half at the start, but as the sword got closer so would it's angle shift. Going from a clean cut to simple a slap of the broad side of the blade.

Guts v.s. Glory

"I don't want to fight, but that certainly doesn't mean I won't put in my all." He'd state as he'd withdraw not a sword, but instead he'd pull a trinket from his pocket. It'd appear to be a chain necklace, attached to it were two items. A small novelty looking chime and a pocket watch. "Prepare to be humbled shinobi, I'll give you five minutes. Survive the full five minutes and you'll win.." He'd state adjusting the stop watch, as to ready it to count down the five minute timer he'd set. He'd then in one swift kick hop off the ground and land on one of the platforms closest, showing he'd be able to make a near two story leap in one jump. A feat no ordinary citizen could perform.

"Our fight will be up here..." He'd state as he'd wait near middle that platform, as he'd wait for the announcement to begin he'd wrap the necklace around his right wrist grasping watch first and waiting. As soon as they were told to start, he'd start the timer on watch letting it go, as he'd also give the kunoichi the right of the first move in this battle.

Dead Silence

Returning the bow the armored girl would reply. "Thank you for choosing me." She'd rise from her bow before continuing, as she'd wave the kunoichi with a bow to follow her. "We'll take our fight to the other side of the church." Leading Sayua on she'd take her to a little before the doors out, under the platforms farthest from the others.

"I'm a fairly new follower, so I hope my craftsmanship is enough to impress you." The girls voice spoke out softly just audible. After speaking she'd push up her shoulder pads, there'd appear to be three switches under each of them. She'd flick the ones closest to her arms, as the round began and then would drop both her arms. Lightly grasping the handles of both her odd maces, a clear tube running down the chain of each mace head would suddenly fill black. A black liquid from the shoulders dripped down to the maces, as they'd reach the end a guzzling of this liquid would pour all over the maces. Enough so that it'd start dripping off them and pooling sticking out in the brightly lit room.

If Sayua didn't make the first move, then Eiko would as she'd pull back her right hand. Quickly swinging it forward, as to throw her mace head in that hand at Sayua. It was a powerful throw and the chain hidden within Eiko's armor must of been long, as it'd continue to and past Sayua if she dodged. Small drops of black following it's every foot traveled.

At this point, it'll be a posting free-for-all, so long as you don't do crazy things that'd interrupt another's fight. I'm going to just reply as quickly as I can to whoever has replied so far.

Training Her Student

The Nohime couldn't help feeling overwhelmed with pride every time her student bowed to her. It'd reminded her of her own behavior not too long ago, well a behavior she kept doing with her superiors. Returning the bow with a slightly less deep one of her own. There was a certain ceremony and meaning to the action, it was polite and respectful to bow deeper to those of a higher rank and significance. Thus it was also expected of her to bow, but in a more minute manner to acknowledge her rank superiority.

"I don't know that technique, but I'm sure if I tried, I'd pick it up quick..." Taking a deep breath she'd think about what happened and with little effort repeat the hand signs, but Yoshiko wasn't attempting to learn the jutsu right then. Instead she'd nod feeling the flow of chakra out and thinking about what'd been performed. "Yeah, I'm confident I could, but most of my doton is supplementary in nature. I'm strongest in my Kekkai Touta, Jinton." Yoshiko would explain nervously laughing, as she knew this wasn't useful to Ryoko. Though it was the truth, so she wasn't going to avoid stating it.

"I'm sure you didn't invite me here to teach you jutsu you already know though, if it is just doton you're looking to obtain. The Nohime library is rich with ninjutsu doctrine." Yoshiko would quickly add after her embarrassed explanation. She wanted to hope she was the best resource for her student, perhaps not for the Aihara techniques and knowledge. However for everything else she hoped to assist her student, as it was one of her more important jobs. A duty to make sure the next generation was prepared to lead the fronts of Iwagakure forces. Ryoko definitely had the spirit to reign in on that. Whereas the special jounin didn't know that jutsu and was pushing off some knowledge to her family, she herself was a very talented individual in ninjutsu. Chakra Control, Sensory and a near sole devotion has given her a mass of worthy knowledge.

"Bleh, shinobi trickery..." The twin with claymore would state, as Suika would split into two individuals. "... Just because we're twins doesn't mean we fight well together." The twin stated with a rather gender neutral tone, but clearly attempting to sound more gruff and tough. It'd trigger their sibling to giggle to themselves, as they'd not seemed to be so upset by the jutsu performed. Instead it'd seemed to have the exact opposite reaction.

"Don't worry sis, I think we can make this work. I'll take lead and you cover me." The twin with the rapiers would state, as they'd reveal their sibling to be a girl. Their voice similarly though landed in a realm of uncertainty. Luckily though the sister would soon identify him as her brother.

"Fine brother, I don't like this, but if you're so confident I'll try..." She'd state whilst drawing her claymore and taking position behind her brother. She'd hoist the rather long blades handle up to about shoulder level. The sword pointing straight up, as her brother would draw single rapier despite two at his waist.

"I'm Okane, Hitoshi and this is my sister Suzu. We'd be happy to take you up on your challenge." The boy would state giving a Suika a flirtatious wink. Revealing he might not of been thinking with the head on his shoulders.

His sister behind him would roll her eyes and on, "Ugh... speak for yourself." Luckily for her she couldn't see her brothers wink.

"And the rest of you?" Yoshiko would ask realizing that there'd been very few introductions up until Suikazara squaring up with the twins. Thankfully Yoshiko wouldn't have to explain her question further, as a sort of role call would be made from the person standing next to the twins on.

The individual dressed in the thick black armor would murmur. "Miyahara Eiko, I practice in chain weapons and heavy armor. I'd be honored to spar a shinobi today." They'd state revealing themselves to be a girl by their name at least. Similar to the girl with the claymore they seemed to have grown accustom to hiding their identity in that sense.

"Sadow Masaru, I'm the fastest archer in these parts and I'd love to kick a shinobi's a..." The boy who'd interjected earlier would state until the right of slaughter behind him would stamp the tip of their sword into the ground behind him. "..eh, sorry..." He'd silence up embarrassed, but clearly not towards the shinobi. More feeling intimidated by the armored mute behind him.

"Ogasawara Sachiko!"
The unarmored girl with nunchucks would state excitedly, as they'd hop up and down in place full of energy. "I'm a master of the nunchuck and a raised devote follower of the light! Hiyah!" She'd further state her enthusiasm as she'd bounce into a roundhouse kick, quickly chopping the air with her foot before easily landing back into a more balanced stance.

"Kubo Tetsuo, ex-samurai of the land of iron, I'd rather not fight either of you to be honest..."
The oldest would state, as he didn't feel comfortable fighting those younger than him. He'd not admit the reasoning, but hoped his lack of interested would deter him from being selected.

"Haga Asami..."
The girl with the book would state slightly shaken by needing to introduce herself. "I-I'm just a scribe... I record the happenings of others in the group and spread their stories. Don't pick me to fight... I'm not a choice..." She'd add quietly kicking the ground and taking a step back, as she'd look away and to the ground as to avoid eye contact.

Yoshiko would take a step away from her teammates as she'd gesture them towards these potential spar partners. "Ryoko, you were second to arrive here, so why don't you pick your partner next and Sayua you can pick last." Yoshiko would state with a smile. As she'd be quite curious who her genin picked, as well as how their fights would go.

Training Her Student

Interested in her students success, it was elementary she'd accept the request to help her student train. If she couldn't make time for private training, then she really wouldn't be able to consider herself that good a sensei. It didn't matter to the Tokubetsu Jounin that her student gave nothing in the realm of a training order. She was fine with a shinobi who liked to keep a state of secrecy, if there wasn't a plan it wasn't like the brunette didn't mind improvising.

She wasn't however sure how she felt about her student telling her midday and arriving much earlier. It certainly helped Yoshiko take care of her clan responsibilities, but it made her question if she was an inconvenience to her team at times. She'd always kept herself busy, so it was good to hear her students did the same. In the past though she was the student and there wasn't a real consequence to her routine, but now as a teacher she might of been missing valuable training hours. Granted the Nohime wasn't really supposed to know she was late to the training, but she had spies about the village.

The Nohime reported to her as their leader and whilst at her compound, she'd be informed by one such that Ryoko was training. They'd questioned more so that the plan was for the midday, than stated Ryoko went on her own. Yoshiko couldn't help feeling a little different about it, but that was probably just a youthful and overconfident childishness that told her she could do everything. There was in fact much on her plate, but she'd still stop what she was doing and hunt down her student.

Sneakily watching the girl from a distance, she'd see her looking to the sky. The depraved childhood of the the older kunoichi would kick in, as she'd assume her student was keeping an eye out for her. She'd instead use the Iwagakure no Jutsu, allowing her to merge with the very rocks that made up the mountainous terrain. Slinking to a nearby rock behind her student, before silently rising from the earthen disguise. "Quite early aren't we Ryoko-chan?" Yoshiko would state allowed to alert her student of her arrival. Her arms crossed to show authority, but her face diminished it with the ever present smile.

Yoshiko didn't expect any sort of great race from her students, but she did want to let them feel not totally chained to her. They deserved to feel more like responsible adults, as realistically their rank was the first of many in a military. She'd want to be a fun leader and someone they could go to and look up too. Perhaps such a nature would come at a cost later, but she'd seen war and experienced a near fatal experience. A reminder life was short and it needed to be enjoyed, but hopefully like her they'd grow to enjoy training. Self betterment required a truly desired goal.

Finishing paying for the right to store her little boat and put it away, she'd take a moment to look upon the clan symbol carved into it's wood. It as she'd stated earlier was a big mark, as the boat wasn't by any means designed for royal purpose. Handcrafted with the love of her family. "I miss you father..." She'd mutter quietly to the boat, as she'd straighten her back and brighten her smile. Turning to the streets before skipping off towards the church, she wasn't a physical arts specialist, but she had been improving her physique.

Certainly Yoshiko could move much faster than any of the group, as she'd proved with the means she took them to this city, but for the journey up hill she'd rely purely upon her legs. She didn't want to outshine any of them and really she didn't care who won or lost the race. The brunette would be surprised to see her team waiting for her at the doors. "I told you guys they were expecting us. No need to wait on me." She'd explain with a slight joyous chuckle at the end of her words.

Approaching the large doors she'd bang to signal their arrival, before a cranking sound at either side of the huge door would be heard. The sound would immediately follow the doors seemingly opening by themselves. Of course not to an empty church, but it was sparsely filled at the moment. The interior size was enormous for sure, but the space seemed even wider as the church lacked in seats it seemed. A podium at the far end for sermons, there appeared to be stacked at either side of the walls pillows.

Looking down it'd be clear their purpose, as a small group kneel'd upon them in prayer. They were the seats of this place, at least that'd be their present purpose. However from out of side around a corner would come a woman dressed in baggy robes. "My apologies for the less than warm welcome, we didn't expect your group so early..." The person looked over the team, as she'd need a moment to discern Yoshiko from the group. All of them being girls and none of them having a huge age gap on the others made choosing the 'leader' a little hard for the stranger.

"It's okay, I'm excited to see what's going on here and more excited to see how my squad performs in combat." Yoshiko would explain with a bow, as she'd look down the long open room to those praying. "So... Are those to be your soldiers of faith?" The Nohime would question a little unsure what to think of any of them, but one would stick out. A very large individual dressed in full plate armor, it'd shimmer a golden shade and at distance looked quite royal. They'd be seated facing the door in front of those praying. A very large sword standing beside them, it'd been clearly propped up by stabbing partially into the ground.

In front of the man would be a group knelt in prayer, it'd seem none of them were discernible though. All had a cloak on and in their position appeared rather similar. The one in robe who'd greeted them would give a nod with an almost greater gleam than the dust release user. "Yes, they're actually a band travelling with the Right of Slaughter, it's quite rare that member resides at any church. So you're all very lucky!" They'd explain which would light Yoshiko up all the more, as always relished the opportunity to make an important acquaintance.

"Awesome, we should go introduce ourselves than post haste!" Yoshiko would exclaim joyously pressing on with a very fast walk past their greeter. The woman didn't seem to be too strong willed anyways and a little nervous. Perhaps due to how early the team had arrived this fine day, but the person seemed to want to say something. Instead would only gawk in surprise at the Nohime's boldness.

Approaching closer the quite prayers would hush as the special jounin came into audible range. "I hear you're the Right of Slaughter! It's an honor to meet you, I'm the Head of the Nohime clan, Yoshiko." The girl would in her mind perform a deep and generous bow to the man in armor. As they'd gotten closer it'd seem his armor was much less royal than at a distance. The gold was partially flaked, the plates were dented and it'd seem to have a decent accumulation of rust it'd seem. Those praying would get up from their kneeling position.

She'd resume a normal stand after a pause into her bow, but it'd seem neither her introduction, bow or post stand drew a noise from the armored figure. "Might I know your name?" She'd ask with clear glee and general curiosity. Too which there'd be a rancid breath from the stranger, but not a single word. Those in cloaks would turn and the one closest to Yoshiko would speak instead.

"He doesn't have a name..."
A boy younger than Yoshiko would state with a scowl towards the jounin.

"I wasn..." Yoshiko would start, but her words would be cut short by the boy adding quite quickly.

"He doesn't have a tongue either, so he wasn't going to tell you either." The brunette was a little off put, but at the same time, she'd attempt to not be judgmental. If everything spoken was true, then there'd be no point in arguing. If anything only a reason to be ashamed, but then boy had the nerve to continue. "You have no right addressing him either, uppity shi..." He'd however this time be the one interrupted as the hand of the armored individual would drop lightly upon the boys shoulder. He'd seem to blush realizing he was overstepping and shutting up. Clearly this individual didn't seem to think to highly of shinobi.

The man standing behind the boy all intimidating in his height and armor would prompt the team leader to push up her chest. She didn't plan to be overshadowed in front of her students. Granted this man was much taller, he was broader too and upon a longer closer look. It'd become apparent the brown markings on his armor weren't rust, but instead were the dried stains of blood. A smell which came about getting closer was now all more apparent and understood.

Those in cloaks all turned to face the team and it'd be a decent group of seven. All of them appeared to be young, but most were around the average age of Yoshiko's team. The boy was dressed in leather easy to move around armor, he'd appear to have four small short bows, two to each side of him. As well as an array of small quivers with multiple arrows.

To the boys left would appear to be a girl dressed in a gi and at her side was a set of very strange looking nun-chucks. She had wild hair, a few bandaids on her face and both her hands and feet were wrapped. Otherwise she seemed to be very bare and basic, a surprising look for a person who certainly lacked ninjutsu. To the boys right right was a person whose gender was hidden by their armor, they what appeared to be thick plates of black armor. The oddest part of the armor was the helmet which looked almost like a bird cage, but the bars were too thick to quite see into the helm. This persons weapon appeared to be two grated chain maces, they seemed almost hollowed and had something black inside.

To the girls opposite side stood an older looking male, he was perhaps older than even Yoshiko. He appeared to be dressed in a rather traditional samurai armor and had multiple swords at either side of him. He had his hair back in a bun and despite armor on his body kept his head relatively undefended. Next to him opposite the girl was another girl, but she looked to be younger than everyone else. She had no weapons, but carried a very large book in both her arms. Her waste had ink vials and feathers attached.

On the opposite side of the stranger in black armor would be what appeared to be two twins. They were rather androgynous in their appearance and either could of been a boy or girl at a guess. Both had long white hair and pale white skin to match, they similarly wore armor like their neighbor, but where the one in black had thick almost iron looking plate armor. These two appeared to have a thinner more refined steel plate armor, despite the two clearly being twins one had a claymore on their back, as the other appeared to have two rapiers at their waste.
