Himishi Haruka

The Himishi just finished helping even more kids deliver cookies before a messenger bird carrying a scroll came to her, rather it dropped it at her feet. The Himishi looked at the bird in disgust before reaching for the scroll and reading its contents. The more she read, the more concerned she got, this wasn't the usual missions she got, in fact, it might be Iwagakure giving a nod to her experience, but the wording of it made it seem like she was only assigned this as a last resort rather than a first choice. No matter, the mission needed to be done, the severity of what had happened was too great and who knows what could happen next. There was a little light to this abysmal scene, she remembers the name this mission was assigned to as well.

Haruka grinned a little seeing Rentaro's name. Now we'll see who has the better eye. The Genin folded up the mission scroll before putting it in her shinobi pouch. He mentioned he was going to the Tsuchikage's as well back then. The probability we were both going to ask something is pretty small, he's either a mailman or he works there... That's stupid, with an eye like that, he'd definitely work there, I know I would keep close tabs on someone with the Sharingan. The conclusion came to have Haruka walking to the Tsuchikage's office.

She couldn't help but think of why no one checked the noise earlier, why did no one find the crime sooner? She shook her head, these questions were better off at the site, right now, she needed to fetch Rentaro from whatever he's doing.

Reports of some disturbances late at night, no witnesses, only people that heard the disturbances. The noise wasn't extremely loud and it also occurred in such a small amount of time. The case was oddly peculiar and they were no leads, at least from any potential leads they could get from the reports of the people that heard the ruckus. A family of six dead in makeshift graves, but the mother was nowhere to be found. Just by that it already meant she was a possible suspect, but it was too early to jump into assumptions.

Rentaro was assigned to the mission due to how peculiar the case was, they were a lot of details that were not known. Accompanied by the genin, Himishi Haruka, the young female he met not long ago. At first, he didn't actually feel like doing the mission, but after giving it a good reason. He understood the circumstances behind it, so at that point, it was enough to convince him to partake in it. The most effective way to figure out what happened was to send it to Shinobi with dojutsu to check it out. They were bound to find something the normal eye would not be able to see.

After getting some of his work done from the Tsuchikage's office, just as he was about to walk out of the office he noticed Haruka. "Yo. Now that you're here, it makes things easier for me. Did you read the scroll?" He said, now that the genin was here he didn't have to actually bother and search for her. They could cut to the chase now and get their investigation mission started, he wasn't particularly excited, but he was slightly interested due to how strange the case was.

Just as she thought he was at the Tsuchikage's office, but what she didn't was him already starting to leave the office. She stopped a little too close for comfort before taking a few back steps. "Sorry, couldn't stop fast enough. The main point, yes I did read the scroll, I'm wildly concerned about this, these things rarely happen and I'm already worried a trend can be started from this. Let's first go over what happened before we head out there." The Genin stated, placing two fingers on her right temple. "It happened at night, we don't have the time, we have 4 hours, nearly 5 with how long they took to find the bodies and report it. Six are dead, 7th is missing and the reports mention a quick ruckus, there's not enough information to tell what on earth happened, what does strike as odd already was there was a small ruckus but it came and gone. How can a small noise end up making not one but 6 graves?" Haruka pondered and awaited for Rentaro's input. I can't make the assumption of what happened, I can see it, I just hope we find enough for me to see what happened. She looked at the scroll once again, putting pieces together from just this is terribly hard.

Haruka waited for Rentaro to take the lead, she was looking for at least some sort of clue from his answer, maybe different perspectives would bring light to something before they even go there. The Himishi are known to be great investigators, while it was smart to assign one to the task at hand, Haruka wasn't sure she was the best choice. Maybe the village just thinks this would be good for Haruka as a shinobi, however, did anyone know how varied a crime can be. Assumptions can't be made, maybe this was tied to something bigger. Haruka shook her head in denial, she was jumping to conclusions, something she couldn't do right now. She needed to go into this with an unbiased head.

"I believe the scene, site is across the street from Hana's bakery if I recall correctly." The girl stated before slowly growing serious in her tone. "We need to look at the bodies. We need to work backward if we want to go forward." Haruka stated, giving her final input before they would head off.

Rentaro turned to look at Haruka once he had walked outside of the office. He didn't put too much attention when she had stopped in front of him a little too close, as she quickly took a few steps back. The Jounin heard out the genin's explanation about the case, she seemed to be on top of it despite being informed about not long ago. It was good to know that she was at least motivated to do the mission. His time in the office was not spent doing nothing, as he had already come up with some reasons behind what had occurred. Anything was possible if the person was skilled enough, they could pull something like that off. "A ninjutsu... That's my hypothesis, but nothing is set in stone yet. Here, have a look." He said, pulling a folded paper out of one of the pockets in his black overcoat and handing it over to Haruka. Being the Tsuchikage's Assistant also meant that he could quickly access any important documentation, his time in the office was spent identifying the family and more important the missing person. It was the only lead they had and as of now, their primary suspect. "The person missing was the mother of the family." They were little needs, but the first way to get started was to identify the missing person, their identity and abilities would provide some clues behind the murder.

He took the lead, already knowing the place the crime took place. They were a lot of things strange about the crime, but if he learned the Himishi's dojutsu was able to look into people's memories. So it was a smart idea to assign her to this mission, although a fairly simple was a good way to put to the test the genin's critical thinking skills. There was no point in jumping into assumptions and any thoughts he had behind were merely hypotheses. The assumptions being made had a high chance of being wrong due to the lack of information given, but there was a good chance the person that went missing had to do with it.

The two eventually arrived at the place. The crime scene and its nearby areas were closed down to prevent anyone unauthorized trying to enter the place and tamper with the evidence left behind. "Mmm... I'll leave that to you, then." Rentaro replied to Haruka, entrusting that part to her and her Tomekenzangan. As for himself, he could make use of his Sharingan's increased perception to look into any irregularities that might be otherwise impossible to see with a normal eye.

A Ninjutsu... It could be possible but, if that was the case, what kind? Haruka pondered over her thoughts before she was disrupted by Rentaro giving her a sheet of paper. The woman, Ichiro Ayuka, was the missing housewife. She was 39, stood at 5'6". Haruka nodded her head, she was the missing one. The missing mother. She doesn't remember any Ichiro in the shinobi registry, she might have been discharged. The most jarring detail was the last recorded detail was her talking to a Hisakawa shinobi. Loan-sharks? Could they be the culprits, could she have paid them off? So many dots but no strong evidence, the Himishi was stumped. She wished she had access to the archives but she wasn't sure what survived the Civil War. The Himishi scratched the back of her head as she looked at Rentaro.

On their journey, it was quiet; the Himishi was trying to go over the small points available. Something must click, something doesn't add up here. The Himishi didn't have enough time to think hard about it. They had arrived at the scene and Haruka smiled faintly it was closed off, the more information she had, the more she could see. Like her suggestion earlier, Rentaro left investigating the graves to the girl and she nodded. She went to the back with her eyes closed, opening them to reveal the Tomekenzangan. She was quiet as the girl took notice of the graves. The dirt has settled for some bit of time. They didn't look fresh, they actually look settled. The dirt settled but upon closer inspection, they were drag trails.

Okay, they were moved here to their graves, but that's just not enough. The Himishi looked even further, the ground was fairly light, there were no bloodstains. The girl furrowed her brows as she investigated the localized site. There was a small burst of sound, killing this many people silently, there was no way she could do this, at least not alone... Haruka instantly looked for footprints. The girl looked into the earth. Her eyes darted back and forth as she looked, they were quite a few indentations but they were sporadic, like whoever did this knew there was going to be an investigation. Oh my god, this is just... madness. Let's see what I have. Haruka moved the hair out of her eyes as her eyes span faster than idle spinning. The world around her turned purple, the outline of one dragged the bodies to each grave, padded down was dirt and instantly the reconstruction stopped. No, the graves look older, so how can... I think I know. Haruka closed her eyes and open opening, her eyes span faster. The silhouette dragged the bodies to the grave and dropped them in the graves. They were instantly sealed and the dirt was kicked over them. Holy shit, this makes sense to their sporadic effects. Haruka continued watching as the reconstruction stopped.

Haruka placed her hands to her face. "What I'm seeing doesn't make sense. What I'm seeing isn't equivalent to the amount of prints... This isn't the work of one." Once again, Haruka watched the reconstruction with more silhouettes. They matched the prints almost perfectly as she watched the reconstruction. It ended more naturally and she deactivated her dōjutsu. So, three living, six dead. How? Why? Haruka followed the drag trails into the house, and she opened the door wide and kept it ajar. "Okay, next location."

DESCRIPTION:
With their Tomokenzangan active, the user will survey an area to uncover its past. This is normally done to retrace a battle the user wishes to witness. It is tricky to perform however. In order to observe the past of an area, the user needs to locate certain cues in the present in order to have their dōjutsu create a simulation of what has transpired.

For example, the mark a kunai has left within a tree trunk, or perhaps a crater created by a technique, or even the residual chakra left over after a fight if the user has access to Tōzasō can all be used as words and pages to read the overall story of an area's past events.

Normally this means that this technique is only really useful for looking into the very recent past, where there are plenty of clues left in the present. The more time that has transpired, the less clues that remain. With few clues, the vision that the Tomokenzangan formulates is little better than a wild, fanciful imagining.

The case was a complicated one, with little witness and evidence left behind, but that was for your average person. For somebody like Haruka that possessed that dojutsu, it was probably not an issue to look back into the events that transpired. He didn't know the full extent of the power of the Himishi clan's eyes, but he did know they were capable of looking at past events. His first meeting with Haruka sparked a particular interest and he decided to look into whatever information he could find. Of course, the rest was probably a secret only known by the clan.

Once they arrived at the scene, he allowed Haruka to do her own thing and reconstruct the details of the crime. If there was anyone that could do it, it was her. Rentaro simply let out a sigh and removed the eyepatch from his left eye, opening it, revealing a three tomoe Sharingan. The graves left behind were peculiar, as it wasn't something done quite often. His best was that the bodies were sealed away to avoid any further identification or find the exact cause of their death. "Fuinjutsu, huh..." That was his best guess, left behind were definitely the work of fuinjutsu. However, judging by the sizes of the graves it was easy to identify who was who. Although he wasn't able to look into the past like Haruka, he pretty much came to the same conclusion as she did.

Rentaro turned to look at Haruka as she made her way to the next location. He heard her previous comments as if multiple people were involved. This was planned out way before they got involved and judging by her reaction it clearly meant that the ones responsible for this crime knew it was going to be investigated. So they purposely made it hard and left little clues behind, this wasn't your average criminal if they were this prepared. "Check for any footprints on the ground or any peculiar appearances in whatever you can see. I have no clue what exactly you're able to see, but there's always the possibility shadow clones were used to purposely throw us off. Whoever they are, they were prepared for this and they clearly did not want to leave behind any clones." He said, asking Haruka if she could find any similarities between the silhouettes. They were little things left behind that he could actually see with his Sharingan.

Always keeping track of people's mannerisms, strengths, and weaknesses. His remarkable intellect allows him to be several steps ahead of his enemy. Due to this, he is able to see through deceptions and elaborated lies that may fool the average person. He believes that one should get to know their friends, but get to know their enemies even more.

Using tactics that would otherwise be considered be rare and unconventional, is due to the fact he has spent quite some time studying multiple types of combat theory. His intelligence tends to shine through elaborated plans, where he takes into consideration the enemy's strength and the strength of his allies. Followed by resources, time, and other external factors in order to determine the best course of action to deal with the enemy. His strategic thinking mainly relies on small, but quick victories in order to reduce the amount of burnout of his forces and keep the use of resources to a minimum.

Rentaro has always possessed high amounts of chakra. One of the reasons why he struggled with ninjutsu from a young age was due to his inherently large chakra pool. Which made it hard for him to initially use jutsus efficiently. Due to the high amount of chakra, he possesses he is able to fight for long periods of time and use multiple jutsus simultaneously without getting tired. This gives him a higher amount of endurance compared to the average Shinobi.

Sharingan (Active)
The famed dojutsu of the Uchiha Clan, an ability very few people can achieve. Although, Rentaro isn't an Uchiha, due to the fact that the eye was transplanted to him from a young age. He was able to access the abilities of the Uchiha Clan's dojutsu, despite not having Uchiha blood in his veins. This increases his perception, awareness, and reaction time. Allowing him to read the movements of his opponents and copy any jutsu that is performed by a Shinobi. He has access to all the abilities of the Sharingan.

The Sharingan is truly Rentaro's greatest asset in a battle, but it also acts as a double-edged sword. Due to the fact that he has no Uchiha blood, it means that the usage of chakra for using the Sharingan is much higher compared to the amount of chakra an Uchiha would require to keep it active. Aside from that, Rentaro is unable to deactivate the Sharingan, so it's constantly active. Because of this, he is forced to cover his eye with a black eye patch to prevent the eye from draining his chakra. Through extensive training and battle experience, Rentaro has access to the Three Tomoe Sharingan.

Enhanced Agility
Rentaro possesses agility that makes him excel in combat, allowing him to move faster than the eye can see with relative ease. This is the result of his extensive training to improve his agility to complement his Sharingan's ability that increases the user's perception and reaction time. Because it doesn't matter if you can see the enemy's movements if you aren't agile enough to dodge them and counter-attack them.

Purple Lightning
A rare ability to use Purple Lightning, through studying ninjutsu and chakra nature theory, Rentaro learned to use a much more powerful version of lightning. Just like the name suggests, he is able to generate purple electricity in some of his jutsus that have increased power. Rentaro normally uses this to engage enemies from a distance.

"I wish I could distinguish, but at best, all I can see are ghosts. I can't see exactly who nor can I say for absolute certainty. I can only see the events, I use my knowledge to fill in the other details. That can leave it a slight possibility what I'm seeing is wrong, I have faith in us. We can solve this, well, so can any awakened Tomekenzangan user... only other one I know for certain though is dead." Haruka stated lightly, expressing that even with the eye, she has limits. "I'll keep an eye out though, but so should you, more details paint a better picture." The Genin stated as she opened the door, acknowledging Rentaro's direction before freezing up. "Umm, shouldn't this be locked. I didn't even think about it." Haruka mentioned, staring wide-eyed at the door, before looking at the door frame.

"So, I think we can rule out forced entry." The girl stated, looking around. The home didn't look too out of place but it was strange in itself, Haruka looked at the home. The Himishi was unbelievably confused and didn't enjoy it. There was so little evidence at first look that the girl didn't know. "Uh, Rentaro, help here I... Maybe I'm just too shocked, I don't know, it's almost like something didn't happen." The Himishi looked around, trying to find something that could help her reconstruct events, she paced around the living room try to find something amiss.

The only thing she can find was a pushed furniture with a stain of dried blood on the floor. "Uhhhh, Rentaro, what can you see? I'm not really getting anything."

"I see..." Although the idea of being able to peek into the future and past with an eye seemed insane. He knew that Haruka's Tomekenzangan still had a lot of room for improvement due to her young age. Regardless of her eyes' impressive abilities, they were still limitations in place. Rentaro took her explanation into consideration, now that he got an idea of her limitations. The entire home didn't seem out of place, so if it was a quick break-in, some evidence would at least be left behind. It was clear that even with Haruka's Tomekenzangan, they have reached a block on the road.

"Tell me, Haruka. Let's say hypothetically you wanted to desert the village, the reasons don't matter at all. What would be the best way to desert it without a trace and ensure that you wouldn't have Shinobi on your back in the event you were stated to be missing. Let's say it wasn't only you, but some of your friends or family. Rentaro turned to look at Haruka, this time he closed his left eye as there was nothing worth seeing with the Sharingan, at the moment. The best way to cover your tracks and make sure that nobody would look for you is to make it seem as if you were killed. Deserters were a rare sight, but it was still something that occurred from time to time. All Hidden Villages are bound to have deserters and Iwagakure was not the exception. This hypothesis seemed the only logical explanation as to why the sealed bodies were older than they looked, even though the crime had been reported much earlier. The one responsible for this planned it beforehand to make it seem an inconclusive murder, even then, it would've been much smarter to simply plant misleading clues to confuse the investigators. But, by the looks of it, they didn't think of everything.

Haruka deduced his claim, trying to find a middle ground they could investigate. "I would first take out immediate witness... Watson! I mean, Ren-Tsun, to the rooms." Haruka tried to fix her grammatical eureka of a mistake before looking for stairs, waiving Rentaro when she found them. "If they were family, the easiest way to rid them is in their sleep." It didn't bother Haruka she knew this, she was drawn to mystery novels and investigations her clansmen went on. If she didn't, how can she call herself a Himishi with easily the most investigative eyes? The girl focused on her steps, trying to hear if there were audible creaks. Stepping on the seventh step made one such noise and the girl looked at it, more confused when she got to the top of the steps, only to hear another. "This was pre-planned."

The Himishi looked at the door, the steps, and recalled a small scuffle detail from the report. Easily more than one party was at work. "Before we go into the rooms, think of three; the door was unlocked... There was a reported short scuffle, and there are these stairs... what can you deduce, from your own gathering, taking in account both the graves and the chaos of footsteps?" The genin asked Rentaro, she hoped his deduction matched hers, but she wanted the man's opinion.

That's a possible explanation as to why she would suddenly disappear, or maybe they killed her family and took her away." That can explain the chaos of footsteps in place." He sounded a bit lazy towards the end, but those were more or less what he thought, one might even think he wasn't taking this as seriously as Haruka was. It all lasted in a matter of seconds, but having his fair share of experience in battles, a lot could happen in just a few seconds the scuffle was heard. If he could see what Haruka did, he could mimic the movements with the Sharingan to make a real recreation of the event.

After giving out her analysis, Haruka continued to go through the points in her head, she kept an ear out to hear his answers and inputs. After her physical finding of the steps, it prompted her to ask a question to Rentaro. Not only to confirm her findings through him but to also get his deductions as well. Carefully, she listened to how morbid it was to plan all of this but it wasn't entirely out of the question. She knew she had some basis in her finding but due to the gravity, she doesn't know exactly whether to feel proud or terrified.

The idea that whoever did this killed the family and took the wife was pretty grim but highly likely, the Himishi took her hand to her face to think, she can't use her Tomekenzangan's reconstruction abilities based on assumptions, instead of seeing the truth, she'd see her imagination, much like trying to deduce footsteps. The footsteps definitely would have alerted an observant eye, but if they were sleeping hea- Haruka looked at Rentaro, he gave another good point only, he didn't seem to be interested in this mission.

Haruka blushed in frustration, looking at him with sharp eyes. "Rentaro, this is serious, take it like it is! You're not being a good 'Watson', help me solve this case!" Haruka puffed up before letting out a sigh. "I'm going to check the beds, see how they were kinda killed." The Genin decided to let it go before heading to what looked like master bedroom. Activating her Tomekenzangan, she wanted to see if the bed imprints could confirm her suspicions.

The intentions and plot behind the murder were quite grim and hard to believe possible. It was not out of the question that people could have such motivations, it was something he had learned over his time as a shinobi. Some people didn't care what sort of messed-up things they had to do in order to achieve their goals. It could very well be the case for this. If somebody was observant enough they would surely catch the sound of someone entering their house. Many factors could've played into that, maybe the people there slept like a rock and didn't notice.

Rentaro let out a sigh as Haruka scolded him for not taking the mission seriously. Well, sometimes he didn't take things seriously, but for the sake of the little Himishi, he'll care just a bit. "Alright, alright... Whatever you say, 'Sherlock.' Once again, he let out a sigh and looked at her. His facial expression changed slightly and made it seem as if he was starting to take this a little more seriously now. He opened his left eye and followed by Haruka, entering the master bedroom.

One of the first things he was able to notice while the kunoichi attempted to figure out what had exactly happened in the room with her Tomekenzangan. They were some markings on the furniture inside the bedroom, some sharp cuts that would've been the result of a sharp object or weapon. While they were some markings of impacted areas as if they were hit by something or someone. Some of them were quite small that most people wouldn't be able to see, but he was able to do so. "Seems like there was some struggle judging by the markings on the furniture... What can you see? He asked, he already had an idea of what had happened in this place. But, before jumping to any conclusions, he waited for Haruka's input in order to use the additional information if she could find someone.

Rentaro made a sigh after she blew up on him. He did have a thing to say, how it came was twisted into her favor. In most cases, being called 'Sherlock' had very derogative connotations; in this context, Haruka took it with great pride. Once she made where she was going clear, the man kept up with her to investigate the scene. The Himishi looked around in a quick scan and was a bit surprised he had a deduction in place so quickly. She just started and he already had an answer ready. Haruka turned to face him rather slowly, "Yeees, it definitely looks like a scuffle took place, what happened exactly, I need to investigate to see that; but, at a first glance, that seems the case."

Haruka nodded in acknowledgment before turning back to the cuts on the pieces of furniture. Haruka looked at each detail in a detailed analysis, it was still too early to activate her reconstruction jutsu. Now was the iffy part, trying to keep imagination out of the equation. She got up and down a lot, looking at both the angles and size of each impact, most were fine like a blade, some were more a sign of piercing. If she were to use it now, her first stop would be a pure kunai struggle, the lack of observable blood was more of an unsettling piece.

Next on her list were the points of impact, more of the blunt kind. They didn't look like they were thrown, they could have been used to attack or counter strikes. "Ren-san, do you see any drag marks with your eyes? I'm fairly certain there aren't any which really concerns me. I need to look around more, you can get started looking in the other rooms, I wonder if they were quick kills or there was a struggle, will help piece the entire picture." His Sharingan came in handy for things like this, although most of its use throughout his entire life has been for combat situations. It had some uses for investigation, but not as much as the Tomekenzangan from what he could tell so far. So far he could deduce that those eyes allowed the user to see the past, present, and future, but it didn't grant any true enhanced perception as the Sharingan did. "That's fine... You can use your Tomekenzangan to confirm my hypothesis." The evidence was there, but it is always nice to have some confirmation whether his deduction was correct or not.

Rentaro let Haruka do her thing, the cuts in the surface were likely done by a kunai or maybe a blade, but kunais were used quite often for combat so the most probable cause of those cuts was from a kunai. He then turned to look at Haruka that apparently needed him for something and even went ahead and gave him a smile like a puppy wanting something from his owner. "Yeah, yeah, alright..." He let out a sigh and went to the other room, it was true that something else could be found in the other room.

He made his way towards the other room and used his Sharingan to look deeper into the place, the small details that the naked eye was unable to see. Rentaro looked at some small cracks on the floor which could indicate the battle continued around this place, or maybe they were two battles going on. It was not out of question, but he wasn't fully convinced about that. The man continued looking at the room and noticed a small crack on the wall as well, instead of slicing with the sharp object, it was instead thrown with force and it hit the wall instead. But, it was nowhere to be found so it meant that it was taking right after.

So far his hypothesis consisted of the possibility that the fight broke out on the previous room Haruka was in and continued all the way to this room. As the kunai was thrown, it was probably picked until after the battle was over so prevent leaving behind any significant evidence. Rentaro's left eye then focused on the small thing he noticed on the floor, below the crack on the wall. It was a single strand of hair, probably when the kunai was thrown it had managed to cut a small portion of the person's hair.

He carefully picked up the hair with his hand and placed it on his other hand. Well, it was at least a small bit of evidence they could find. It was probably so small that nobody would've been able to see it under normal circumstances. "I found something." Rentaro called out to Haruka that was in the other room, he hoped by now that she would've probably found something too or figured something by now.

The Himishi continued her examination looking for the details that could be overlooked. Even something as trivial as a scuff mark could indicate an impact, a sharp turn, or an unexpected interger. The amount of variables in every scenario can range in the hundreds to the zeroes, not only is it dependant on what happened but also what reacted to said intervals. The probability of a struggle here was high but who was the assailant and who was the victim. It was up to her to find out. After sending Rentaro to do what she asked of him, Haruka went ham to analyze what she could. Closing her eyes, the girl opened them and her Tomekenzangan spun even faster.

The victim got out of bed in a hurry, scuff marks on the floor show he was in a hurry. But why? Haruka looked at the cut furniture. These were used as guards, the indents were deep or a near miss. They must have been equals in ability if these many objects were used. However, they clearly weren't expecting this. The lack of blood is a cause of concern, I have not found traces yet. The Himishi felt her mind filling in gaps, this was one she could not help with though, there were too few clues at this location. Haruka started an overview Reconstruction, detailing the assailant coming into the room. The pillows and sheets were used first to avoid the attacks before the victim rushed out of bed to defend himself, evidence from furniture showed the victim used the environment to fight. It was rough and violent but the vision grew exhausted, pushed down to match the impact on the floor, the lack of blood saw him being choked out before being taken away to be buried. Closing her eyes, Haruka got up and deactivated her Tomekenzangan. I need to tell Ren.

Haruka got up the moment he called out to her, she furrowed her eyebrows and rushed out to him. "Is it Blood? What? Wha- Oh... a hair strand. Where did you find it?" The girl questioned, focusing her eyes onto it.

Tomekenzangan (Tōzasō) | All-Seeing Eye of the Present
Haruka achieved both the rare dōjutsu and the even rarer Tōzasō state of the eye. Being a direct evolution of Iwakusō, boons of both can be accessed by the Genin. With crystal clarity, the girl is capable of recalling information and memories down to a surreal level. As if she could live in it, it also grants her capabilities to look through memories and implant her own or even reconstruct the other's memory through the use of clan jutsu. It can also gives her great ability of her own intelligence locked behind the eye. From the Tōzasō aspect, Haruka attains a great level of perception both in tacking and reading any given situation, exponentially increasing strategic or investigating abilities. The strongest boon is the ability to track movement from both powerups granted by the past and present eye. Every minute detail is tracked at great speeds for Haruka.

Unnatural Intelligence
Even before the Tomekenzangan, the girl has always had an almost metahuman intelligence, able to decipher a large number of details in seconds and map out events with marks like a video into the event. The Genin is even capable of quick, logical thought, all while maintaining a long term-memory of the details. Boosted by the Dōjutsu's passive effects, the girl's ability to recall and process new information increases exponentially. Every cognitive ability is boosted allowing the girl to process and retain much information new or old. Haruka easily surpasses genius levels thanks to both the great boons of her blood and her eyes.

DESCRIPTION:
With their Tomokenzangan active, the user will survey an area to uncover its past. This is normally done to retrace a battle the user wishes to witness. It is tricky to perform however. In order to observe the past of an area, the user needs to locate certain cues in the present in order to have their dōjutsu create a simulation of what has transpired.

For example, the mark a kunai has left within a tree trunk, or perhaps a crater created by a technique, or even the residual chakra left over after a fight if the user has access to Tōzasō can all be used as words and pages to read the overall story of an area's past events.

Normally this means that this technique is only really useful for looking into the very recent past, where there are plenty of clues left in the present. The more time that has transpired, the less clues that remain. With few clues, the vision that the Tomokenzangan formulates is little better than a wild, fanciful imagining.
