And then slowly the boy walks to his house with the sole aim of gathering as much things as possible for his survival, the boy was a little paranoid about it, but he always knew his limits, when he got home he starts running fast, too much for an environment like that.

Like a flash, Yoru picks up repellents, incense and also some food, next to a canteen, Yoru's father, who was at home, says:

-OH, BOY! MAKE SURE YOU DON'T DESTROY THE HOUSE! AND WHERE ARE YOU GOING IN SUCH A HURRY?

Yoru is startled by his father's scream, after all he didn't expect him to be home at this time, he responds with a sigh, while looking for his father's flint:

-I'm going to a forest with my sensei and friends, so I need to be quick! I don't want to keep them waiting centuries for me, and where's your flint dad?

The same, surprised, says that it is stored in his toolbox, an unusual place, but until it is safe, the boy takes it and instantly sees the flint, he picks it up, keeps the box and runs to the village gates.

As soon as he arrives, his tiredness is notorious, in addition to being sleepy, the boy ran a lot, thus generating physical and mental fatigue and then he says:

-I-hope I didn't let y-you guys wait t-too much, s-sorry.

The boy looks down with a dead fish look.

Nitimur in vetitum

Yuuta eased over to Noru and ruffled his hair, smiling. He wanted to let Noru know that he hadn't done anything wrong and also to convey a sense of personal connection between Sensei and the student. Despite all of his unbecoming traits, Yuuta generally cared for the kids placed in his charge. From the moment he received a squad, he'd spend days gathering as much information on them from the village officials before setting up their first meeting. This meeting has its own obvious goals, however Yuuta's main reason for such a gathering is to compare information from their official files with how they really were in person.

While it could be said that this is excessive, it allows Yuuta to utilize his strategic mind to formulate an assessment on the squads needs; be it combat related or interpersonal. Yuuta however, didn't take into consideration that he himself would become fond of those under his charge. Funnily enough, this batch of genin were keeping Yuuta on his toes; that wasn't reacting in the way he'd theorized. Especially Wahei's reaction to the man's Kekkei Genkai. "Of course Wahei, I'll let you study this bod." Yuuta responded genuinely, however implying that Wahei wanted to do more than just study the man's body for Medical application.

"I have some research that my personal pupil, Oorigami Asahi, is completing for me. Maybe the two of you could work together, '' Yuuta added. He'd also chuckled at the nickname alloted to Shigure's Byakugan. "This kid is a living breathing ice breaker moment isn't he?" The Jounin thought to himself before taking his cue from Wahei and being a bit more himself rather than simply their teacher.

"Wait, you're telling me boss isn't blind?! Yo, Boss! Have you been lying to me this entire time" Yuuta, like Wahei, had a fairly large imagination that could create entire worlds… Or destroy them should he be left to his devices.

The three genin and Yuuta strolled through the gates, then down the main road leading into and from the hidden leaf. With his arms folded behind his, the Jounin seemingly walked aimlessly, his stride never gaining momentum or easing to a pace slower than it already was. To his genin it might seem as if the man had no real plan in mind or that they were just gonna move through the immense Hi no kunian forest without a set destination. Of course this wasn't the case whatsoever. Rather, Yuuta didn't see the need to be in a hurry to their destination when there was so much to experience on the way there. It wouldn't be long until the squad reached a fork in the road. He'd walk over to the sign in the middle of the fork, and then motioned for the genin to come over.

"Alright, you guys pick which one way we should go. Since the departure went off without a hitch and the weather is amazing. I've decided that we leave our destination up to chance, and you three just so happen to be chance".

"If one path promised you oblivion, it didn't matter what the other path held in store.”
F.C. Yee, The Shadow of Kyoshi

Fork on the road.

Wahei was simply amused by the Jonin style. He was used to always have dead serious instructors that never showed to him what it meant to be a human - his mom included, except for few... exceptions. Truth be told, he couldn't expect even in the best of his dreams that he would ever get in a team with such social 'samples' - You honor me, Sensei! I'm looking forward for such amazing opportunity!  - he shouted in his excited tone - "Oorigami Asahi, huh?" - he would look up for that name later.

He got all thoughtful for a while absorbing what have been said by the jonin and the teammates along the way. He'd eventually jump into conversation as his curious side wouldn't allow him to simply 'shush'. But the way Gure reacted by Shigure's byakugan was remarkable, since it was pretty much the same reaction Wahei had when they first met - RIGHT? - I mean - I've said pretty much the same thing! Haven't I, Boss? Even now I'm not entirely used to it to be honest - maybe too much honest - It is AMAZING tho. Radar skills and stuff. - Wahei couldn't even dream to the fact that, not long after, he would end up holding his very own byakugan. A implanted one, entrusted to him to keep alive both Kazuhira's and Natsuo's dreams and legacy. But that's a story for another day.

Nevertheless, finally they came across with the fork on the road. And Gure decided that they should decided which way the should go. Wahei walk closer the signs or any other identification to learn names or directions - What do you say, Boss?.. Yoru-san? - he really wasn't good on that kind of job or decision but he would end up supporting whatever call one of them - specially Shigure - made.

"From the very moment we're thrown into this world, we're fated to bring each other nothing but pain, suffering and misery. I was also blindly obsessed with a trivial and irrational need for vengeance. But I was left behind. Alone. Forgotten. Abandoned. Forsaken. But now, the fog has been truly lifted. One can never run from its ghosts. And that’s exactly all that I am. A lost memory. An undying shadow, in this world of light. From now on, I’ll have to live up to this semi-charmed kind of life. Regardless of this phantom pain. This is my fate. This is my Destiny. It’s not the light which will guide us through the darkness, but the darkness that shall guide us through the light. Never forget. Always remember."

WHICH WAY

If anything, Shigure found Wahei's reactions to his Byakugan a bit amusing, so when he mentioned the Radar-mode, Shigure just chuckle lightly at that. One thing that was slightly more weird to him, however, was just how odd Yuuta was, in an almost creepy way. When he responded to Wahei's desire to study his body and Kekkei Genkai he had to go and make it a bit more lewd, and Shigure just shook his head at that. Maybe because he was a bit older and more mature than his teammates, being engaged and all. In any case, he wasn't one to judge, so he mostly just shrugged it off. His mind, however, quickly drifted from that subject to the next when Yuuta mentioned his disciple, and when he revelaed the name, Shigure's eyes widened and he arched both his brows.

"Asahi-kun is your disciple? I met him a few months ago. We trained together. He is a very nice guy, and now that you mention it..." he paused briefly, changing his gaze from his sensei to his teammate. "I do think you guys would get along, Wahei-kun. He is also training to be a mednin!" and said, with his tone growing more enthusiastic as he spoke.

Still, he had to mention the blindness thing again and add to the fire, to which Shigure responded by sighing deeply and shaking his head. Placing both hands on his waist, he stared at the two, while they continued to discuss it, and when Wahei asked for confirmation, he nodded. "I mean, I understand Wahei-kun not really knowing about the Byakugan, but I was hoping you were somewhat familiar with my doujutsu, sensei. It's quite the opposite of being blind despite what my eyes look like while it is not active." he added, shrugging lightly.

Once they left through the gates, Yuuta kept a more leisure pace and it was easy to follow. Shigure remained silent and observant for the most of it, until they reached a fork on the road. Yuuta told them to decide where to go, and Wahei turned to Shigure. Touching his chin with the index and thumb, the young Hyuuga massaged it for a bit while he weighted the options. Knowing that the neutral and normally peaceful Forest Country was to the Northwest, and knowing Kayaku lingered somewhere in the East, he though it would be better to go that way.

"How about we head northwest? I know the roads there, and with my Byakugan, I can at least warn us if anything gets to close." he suggested.

"So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep."

Yoru feels Yuuta's hand passing through his hair and giving him a pat, the boy felt a strange comfort, as if he were a light feather, it was as if the boy's delay was nothing, just feeling it Yoru started to blush, he looks up and saw the sensei in another way, as if he were his father, Yoru returns the smile, the usual shy smile.

Yoru hears the name Oorigami Asahi, it was not a common name for the boy, but enough to stir up his usual curiosity, the boy's desire to always ask and study about something was notorious, mainly because of nature, he has love about her and want to know more and more about.

Yoru listens to what his sensei said about Shigure and instantly the boy starts bursting out of laughter , the boy turns around and makes sure his sensei isn't seeing, then quickly remembers he wasn't there to joke and tries to stay serious, still looking with a laughing face.

And then the time had come, choosing a path, for Yoru it was a chance game, as he didn't know the area very well, the boy deep in thought starts looking down and sees a small beetle, his eyes start to glow of determination and he takes the beetle in his hands, he seems completely distracted, playing with the insect until Shigure says something about going northwest, he looks up and replies, still distracted:

-W-what? Where are we going to go, n-northwest? I-it's up to y-you S-shigure-san.

And without realizing it, Yoru was saying this while the beetle walked across his face.

Shigure wasn't as lively as the Wahei, yet not as quiet as Yoru. Maybe it was due to noble upbringing as a Hyuga main Branch member? "If I remember correctly the Hyuga have spawned they're share of missing shinobi. Some aristocrats…" Yuuta thought to himself despite not holding the Hyuga in low regards. If it were the Gure clan, Yuuta would have more than likely helped his clansmen escape if they wanted to. However, the pomp and circumstance, the Hyuga could live without; especially after raising so many missing nin.

When Shigure joined them in their collective weirdness, Yuuta was pretty happy to be honest. Wahei and believe it or not Yoru had control over the conversations for the most part. "So he's the normal-enough-to-not-appear-weird one. Very well," the Jounin thought quickly, keeping his ever present smirk.

'Hahahaha! Well… Yes, I know a bit about the Byakugan. Besides who's to say we can't have a little fun when getting to know each other makes it easier don't you think?" Yuuta said as he stood near the sign at the fork in the road. Yuuta decided to respond to Shigure's rational and mature mindset with rationale and maturity when he spoke to Shigure. After all he was the most level headed in the entire squadron, a trait Yuuta applauded and praised.

The Hyuga was not much younger than Yuuta and he didn't seem as odd as his peers. Shigure then picked his choice for the route they would take. Yuuta simply nodded in agreement, though he'd have done this for any route so long as it didn't lead back to the village. Both Wahei and Yoru said something after this but Yuuta wasn't paying any attention. He had already started walking the route Shigure had chosen, without hesitation or second thought as you where they were actually going and why.

The Gure thought that they had a purpose and a reason to be headed down this path he just did not know what it was yet. No, he didn't get a gut feeling, had some type of hunch or remembered anything vaguely worth noting that would otherwise give them a reason to be headed out of the village. Nevertheless, their Jounin simply continued on without a care in the world.

"Why did you three become shinobi? Now that you are shinobi what plans do you three have for the future?" The man said abruptly, his voice stern and forceful though not in an intimidating sort. Yuuta thought intimidating someone was pointless, so he never tried anything if the sort even with enemies. By this time the sun was begging to set though, it was still a couple hours before dusk. They would eventually need to find a nice spot to set up camp however until then Yuuta wanted to know exactly why each of them wanted to become shinobi.

Madness of Knowledge

One of Yuuta's greatest embarrassments; his curious nature is also one of his oldest and strongest abilities. He has gained a vast knowledge of fundamental and unorthodox Shinobi skills. Including combat tactics used during old conflicts such as First Shinobi World war. Over the years Yuuta devoured any information he could get his hands on and did so until he was able to apply this knowledge within his ninja career and his fighting style. That said he is exceptionally intelligent and uses his knowledge to creatively utilize his abilities and think up strategies. Because Yuuta is a nerd who likes "bad ass” abilities; he has gained general knowledge on other countries, their Shinobi and the common abilities they usually use.

The Art of War

Due to Yuuta intelligence and love for wartime history. He has become an extremely skilled strategic genius. Using the information he's gathered on past conflicts in the world and the general knowledge of the modern Shinobi nations. Yuuta is able to create strategies and plans several steps ahead of his opponent. He can elaborate strategies from different traditions and a variety of cultures and apply them not only in battle, but all activities that involve intellect. Additionally, he can predict possible obstacles a mission or village will present or the opportunities the venture would open up. Yuuta usually knows what the best actions to take in a situation, allowing him to adapt and prepare for any situation that may occur and handle it effectively. Yuuta macabre personality also plays a part in this side of him as he is not above using tactics deemed immoral in today's age.

Motives.

The team decided to follow Shigure's intuition and Wahei was paying attention to every detail of social interaction, expecting to learn something. That's when the jonin made a very interesting question, but for Wahei that wasn't the first time someone asked him about that. - At first because my mom told me to - he didn't said that as a bad thing - She sorta' felt as if it was something I mean to be. And she was right. - he nodded as if he was first time thinking about the details - but today I realize that being a ninja will allow me to not only understand people better but also to achieve my dream of becoming the most powerful mednin ever! - I mean - I dream with a day where ninjutsu will only be used as a tool for excelling human society and not as a tool for murderer and killing. - he concluded with some naturality in his tone.

He then looked to every other teammate since he was curious about their motivation - although he knew Shigure, he thought that could always be an opportunity to learn more about a person when they talk about their dreams and goals.

"From the very moment we're thrown into this world, we're fated to bring each other nothing but pain, suffering and misery. SHINOBI

Seemed like nobody had any opposition to the direction Shigure had proposed, and that was good. Even though they were out there to train and develop their skills in the wild, it was reassuring to know they would be following a path he was familiar with since, after all, the ninja world is still quite dangerous; you never known when an enemy may attack. Without hesitation, Yuuta started heading towards the Northwest and Shigure was quick to follow him, keeping up the pace with the Jounin.

As they continued their way, Yuuta asked why they had decided to become Shinobi and what were their plans for the future. Wahei was the first to speak up, mentioning the fact that his mom was the reason why he initially decided to follow the way of the shinobi, and then he explained his dream to become a great Med-nin, and to see a future where Ninjutsu was used to heal, and not to wage war. "A beautiful, yet utopic dream. I can't see that coming true, but then again, some will claim my dream is also futile and bound to fail... Maybe you can realise your dream, Wahei-kun. If you do, that would be a nice world to live in." he thought to himself, letting a smile grow on his face.

Once the boy was done with his explanation, Shigure nodded, taking the next turn. "Like Wahei-kun, the shinobi path was decided for me by my parents. Being born the heir to the Hyuuga clan, it was not really a matter of choice. And yet, I would've have chosen anything else for my life. As for what I want for my future... Well, this answer is a bit more complex, for I have two main goals in my life." he paused briefly. "As a Leaf Shinobi, I want to become a beacon to the next generation. As such, my ultimate goal is to become a Team Leader, Yuuta-sensei. Although, at times, I feel half-tempted to apply for a instructor job at the academy." he said in a quite cheerful tone. "Maybe the academy could be a start, and then lead a team. As for my future within my clan..." and when he said that, the smile faded away - although not completely. "I want to guide the Hyuuga to a brighter, better future, where the shadow of discrimination is dimmed, if not completely gone." he started, as his expression became completely serious.

"And I trust that this last part can be held in confidence by all of us, for the Hyuuga are not very welcoming to the concept of change, and I'm not yet its leader." he quickly added, with a sense of urgency and importance to his tone.

"So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep."

Yoru hears Yuuta asking why they became Shinobi and what were their dreams, the first was Wahei, Yoru listened attentively, with a very serious expression, his opinion was that Wahei's dream was very noble and that it reinforced his gentle nature, for more than Yoru thought this dream was practically impossible, he didn't want to say, after all he used to share the same vision.

And then it was Shigure's turn, Yoru heard the dreams of other colleagues and thought that his own dreams were somehow inferior, they all had ambitious dreams, of human nature, because of that Yoru thought that they could think his dreams were inferior, this made Yoru had that same shy face and even ashamed to talk about his own dreams.

Speaking of the devil, it was Yoru's turn to talk about becoming a Shinobi and so he starts, taking a deep breath so that his shyness doesn't have such an impact on his speech:

-Since I was a child, my father thought I was promising, I always found the areas of calculation and even the art of Shinobi easy, along with everything my father expected from me was the trigger for me to become Shinobi. My dream, may seem small compared to yours or even inferior, what I want is to be someone strong, as strong as an elite jonin, if I turn strong I will have some influence and with that influence I will be able to propagate the ideology of my dream: beyond of wanting to win the war of being at peace with myself, I have always believed that people deserve a second chance, without being judged by society for what they have done, but being welcomed, for me if there is regret in a person is already a sign that they want redemption and if I become a strong Shinobi, I can be a beacon to these people, like a guiding light, s-sorry if it took so long, but that's my dream.

And then the boy stops talking, feeling some relief.

To say Yuuta was impressed would be an understatement… This entire time he had been viewing the three of them as children and not shinobi of the Hidden Leaf. Displaying such high levels of maturity brought on a paradigm shift within their Jounin. Yuuta decided quickly that he would no longer underestimate three genin. Of course this also meant that he would no longer cut corners for them either. Wahei was the first to answer Yuuta's question. "That is a Noble dream Wahei, the core makings of a true medic-nin. I'm sure you'll revolutionize the medical world. Don't get deterred by naysayers, so long as you do what you believe in you'll make the world a better place, one patient at a time"

"Never forget, hate is the most useless of all emotions and Success is the best revenge." Yuuta felt Wahei's words on a deeper level than the children realized. Yuuta's own reason for becoming a shinobi was impossible due to how fleeting the human experience was. Still, the man never ceased his ill-fated quest for wisdom and information. No matter how improbable Wahei's dream was, Yuuta would support him in his endeavors. "Eight Thousand, Many Flows Misery Cleaver, Wahei, the Consecration of Eternal Life" Yuuta whispered, an overly exaggerated epithet meant to only be known by Yuuta himself.

Shigure went next, the young heir was more forward with his goals than the Jounin would have thought. "We all have the choice to decide our own destiny. There have always been people like this, Shigure. People who think they know what's best, who decide what people should see and read and listen to, who ultimately try to shape how other people think and act. I've spent my entire life refuting their ideology" he'd give Shigure a bit of advice and insight in how he dealt with the expectations of being clan heir.

He was surprised to hear Shigure wanted to become a squad leader. For Yuuta it was entirely different… at least in the beginning. Yuuta didn't become a Jounin sensei because he wanted to become the "Bad Ass Mentor with a Heart of Gold". His reasons for the decision were utterly and completely selfish in nature. The man wanted a team so that he could go on missions in and outside of the nation. Although, he could have done this in any capacity within Konohagakure's military. Other positions such as ANBU captain or Jounin Hancho interfered with his responsibility to the hidden leaf's orphanage.

Eventually, the shinobi Yuuta had the chance to guide unknowingly left an imprint on the man that is so profound, that Yuuta would give his own life for any child or shinobi who he's acknowledged as a pupil. At his core the man was a cold and calculated scholar and strategist. As such in the beginning he thought his emotional connections were a weakness and deterrent to his ultimate goal of uncovering the myriad truths of the world. Yuuta decided to leave this fact hidden from the team. Nevertheless, he still lauded Shigure for the goal.

"I commend you for your desire to folster the next generation, Shigure. You will be a great sensei. From one Sensei to another, remember that if you tell people everything you take away their opportunity to learn" The man said, pausing for a moment just as Shigure had for the second part of his answer. Yuuta couldn't relate to the Shigure's dream for his clan, as the Gure wasn't a founding clan nor were they historically native to Hi no Kuni. Unlike the founding Hi no Kuni clans, the Gure clan as a whole were spread throughout the world. Konoha's Gure, Yuuta's family was simply a branch of a much larger clan that spanned across several countries.

"Great change always comes down to the actions of a single person" was the only thing Yuuta could think to say; in his experience even when supported by close friends or countless nobody's, a single person would triumph within their stock. So much so that those supporting them would be driven to not only join them but extol them for their cause among other things.

"Heavenly Demon's Gaze, Hyuga Shigure, True God's Mighty Fist, the Lightless, Three-Stage Thrust" Yuuta unconsciously muttered another epithet.

Yoru was the last to answer the question, much to Yuuta's surprise as he thought Yoru would have been first. Not even Yuuta knew why he felt this way, he simply just did. It was becoming more and more obvious that Yuuta didn't see the genin's timidness as being different. Instead, Yuuta simply thought the child was harboring a dark secret that required extremely high clearance to know. Yuuta's imaginative assumption combined with Yoru's reserved personality is the reason for why Yuuta thought the genin would react or speak before the others.

"No dream is inferior or small… Every dream or goal starts with an idea, but it is the people that move this idea forward" Yuuta was completely taken aback by Yoru's response. The Jounin thought this moment was Yoru's big evil master plan reveal but in fact it just so happened to be the opposite. Of course it wouldn't change Yuuta's illogical assumptions of the young Nara. Yuuta instead would edit his views to fit Yoru's response, now he thought that Yoru had committed an immoral task that rewarded power at the price of something extremely valuable, something as valuable as human souls. It was the only logical reason Yoru believed that people deserved a second chance as it also includes him.

"Good or bad is a matter of perspective. I read somewhere that there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so. If we strive to understand those who think differently than us, then shinobi just might be able to forgive. Your dream will be arduous but I believe you will find those who might not hail from the same lands as you or have similar experiences but will feel the same as you. And when that happens all of you will succeed." Yuuta said genuinely despite his personal doubts of whether or not Yoru is really a genin…

"Fruitless Flower of the War-torn World, Nara Yoru, The Great Black Heaven, Demon King of the Sixth Heaven, Dairokuten" is yet another epithet.

"The reason I became a shinobi"... Yuuta started, "Was to simply know. I see things in this world and I wonder at the life of the person who carefully crafted or used said thing. For example the hand seals, who created them? The reason, methods the person, who took the time to create something that is technically immortal because hand seals are still being used till this day. Although, it isn't just shinobi arts that I wonder about and want to know." He paused momentarily as the ground beneath then began to rise in elevation, making it a bit more tiring to track through the large hi no kunian forest.

Yuuta's search for knowledge was always his greatest strength... and his weakness. He is many things, dangerous and devious, cunning and deadly, a good friend and an implacable enemy. Despite this, he comes from an age when a man's word was indeed precious. Before one of them could ask why he wondered about seemingly useless things, he started talking again. "At first I didn't know why I wanted to know, it was just natural to me. Now I know that it's because someone has to remember. Some one has to know and remember the shinobi who shot the first bolt of lightning, the area where the first clans dwelled, the person who tilled that area's field. Who was born and lived and died, who loved and laughed and cried. It is only when no one remembers, that you are truly lost. That is the true death…" the man finished with a smile, wondering if he had gotten too deep for his batch of exemplary future Jounin. "After all... We shinobi are nothing more than the sum of our memories and experiences".

"Pure Enlightenment Eighth Consciousness, Preta Realm, Holy Kannon - Salakayas, the Great Nirvana Sword - Seven-Branched Sword Gure Yuuta" as he finished the last epithet the man's eyes twinkled with child-like awe.

Don't judge him okay? Lol

"Passing skills through a new generation, eh?” - Solid Snake

Will of fire.

This is the moment Wahei has been waiting for. The way everyone in the team explained their dreams and goals was something that made him felt alive. Socially alive. And gratitude is what he was feeling by everyone since all that have been spoken was a genuine proof of trust. A bond has been sealed.

When Yuuta gave his impressions on their dreams, Wahei kept silent listening to every words and he felt joy when the jonin motivated him to chase his dreams fiercely with no hesitation. Even though he didn't understand why would he hesitate - for him it was crystal clear obvious that one should pursue his dreams and he didn't see why wouldn't he be able to accomplish his since all he needed to do was teach the world to not hurt each other.

But Wahei got lost on the jonin's epithet. - I'm sorry, Yuuta-sensei, but I really didn't get what you have just said - he totally thought that it was his fault for not being able to understand what have been said. He eventually shrugged and that made him lost track when Yuuta started talking about his pursuit over immortality - which came to the boys attention but he decided to not comment on that considering that he lost track on the conversation. He'd eventually get back when he listen to Shigure dreams.

- You already have this on you, Boss! I've learned a lot with you and I have this feeling that I'm still will learn a lot more - the boy said so convinced as if he somehow already had the experience of being taught by Shigure, something that he couldn't explain but felt genuinely from the bottom of his heart. Yet clueless to the fact that couple of weeks later Shigure would being teaching him on how to use a byakugan - Becoming a teacher means that you need to master what means to be a leader... you might not have all the answers but the experience and knowledge to boost your students on achieving their own dreams in their own way... And I see that in you since day one. - I mean - should you call me to jump from a bridge, I would take the fall with no hesitation. - that's how Wahei trusted him.

- Somehow, all of us have this in common, right? - I mean - we all want to teach future generation on how to be better. - he smiled, happy for noticing some common strength. - And your dream is amazing, Yoru-kun! In your very own way - he tried to cheer the boy up, even though he didn't know exactly on how to connect with him, he had this impression of that their dreams were part of the answer.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Sensei! And also for leading us on this opportunity to getting to know us better. But I would like to know what you think about the future? - I mean - you've got there, but what you think is coming next? - he asked with an expression full of curiosity. - I mean, all I have learned so far from my fellow comrades, you guys, my family and stuff... I realized that even having the water release, I might indeed have this will of fire- he didn't understand exactly what that meant, because it was curious for him that someone could have two things from different elements, but by the experiences he had so far, that was starting to ring a bell. And that was more a feeling than a conclusion.

Ra-Ri-Ru-Re-Ro (らりるれろ).

LAND OF FIRE

Shigure smiled to his sensei when he commended him for his desire to help out foster the next generation of Shinobi eventually, give back to his village. Wahei also pitched in and gave Shigure his own compliments, highlighting the fact that he already did help him learn many things, and would continue to help him in the future. The heir to the Hyuuga clan blushed lightly and scratched the back of his head, making it plainly obvious that he was not used to compliments. That shouldn't come as much of a surprise, it was no secret how strict the Hyuuga clan was, and even people mostly ignorant about the clan would probably know at least that much.

Now, as for the clan matter, Yuuta mentioned that great change always comes down to the actions of a single person, and Shigure arched one of his brows, because he never truly thought about it that way, but now, it kinda made sense. A lot of people, throughout history, were the sole cause for an impactful change, so why couldn't he be one of them? It was going to be hard, but he knew that from the get go, so that didn't intimidate him. "I see." he commented with a firm nod. Then, Yuuta gave his blessing of sorts. Shigure didn't quite understand the deeper meaning of what those words truly meant, but he did take a mental note of that; he would reflect upon them in due time.

Once the Jounin finished addressing all the Genin, he talked a bit about himself, revealing that the reason driving him to become a shinobi was the seek of knowledge and immortality of sorts. That was a hard goal to accomplish, but so was Shigure's so he was in no place to judge. His words rang deep, and Shigure didn't quite know how to react to it yet, so he chose silence and reflection. The group continued to venture through the woodlands of the Land of Fire, and the Hyuuga's Byakugan was carefully watching all around them.

On the distance, he saw a group of people, which prompted him to zoom in on them with his Byakugan. There were three of them, all male and they carried some weapons. They looked to be sneaking around the area, suspicious. The Hyuuga narrowed his eyes and frowned his brows. "Sensei, maybe we should check on that... Northwest, three-hundred and sixty eight metres, three individuals sneaking around. I don't see anything in their vicinity, but they seem to be heading southeast." he warned his team.

"So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep."

Seeing his colleagues interacting like that made Yoru happy, everyone wanting to help each other, so it was what a team meant to the boy, where no one thought anyone's dream was inferior, but in a way they even encouraged them, Yoru smiles genuinely, as if could not contain his joy.

Soon after Yoru hears an epithet coming from his sensei, the boy without realizing it starts to think aloud:

-Woah, The Great Black Heaven! Sounds pretty... Strong, hahahahah!

In a way, Yoru and Yuuta had something in common, their natural thirst for knowledge, to want to know everything, learn everything, experience everything, Yoru says, impressed:

-I-Immortality? Sensei, if you need h-help just call, I'm also thirsty for knowledge.

Yoru starts to drown in thoughts, immortality was something practically impossible, the boy thought it was a little selfish, but he still thought it was amazing, the time it would take, the information he would get, it would revolutionize the shinobi world, and then the boy starts to think out loud again:

-Damn... How would Yuuta-sensei be? Would he get old like us, but he wouldn't die or... WOULD HE CHANGE FROM BODY TO BODY?

Yoru got a little scared with Shigure, the boy was so impressed with his sensei's dream that he ended up entering his little world again, the young hyūga talks about a group of people, this caught the boy's attention, they were a little far away , Yoru, taking advantage of his lack of presence, the boy decided to stay stealthy, trying to get to the indicated place.

concordia cum veritate.

Deep within the Hi no Kunian forest not too far from where Yuuta and his squad was positioned; a band of small-time bandits were hauling contraband out of a cave. The cavern was built into the side of a large earthen formation, similar to the Hokage mountain in Konohagakure. "Hehehe, this stash of weapons and scrolls might get us promoted" Yosaki said to another bandit before handing off the wooden crate he had hauled from within the cave. The other bandit, named Itosuki responded with urgency in his voice, " Don't jinx us. Idiot. We first have to get this stuff to the Hyosube family, Lady Minzuki will be waiting" he paused to settle the crate into the wagon the three were given by the Hyosube.

Another man, this one clearly a mercenary shinobi strolled out of the cave, a large cigar burning slowly between his lips. "If you tew dun' hurry Ima' havta tell our fair lady that ya can't even transpurt her armaments", Kotokai said before jumping on top of the wagon's cloth cover. The bandits, Itosuki and Yosaki quickly moved to the front of the wagon, with Ito being the one to lead the horses. Grabbing a hold of the reins, he'd snap them forcefully causing the horses to move. Galloping as fast as the stagecoach could move, the horses neighed kicking up dust and dirt behind them. "Hey, ninja boy… Do you know anything about this Hyosube family?" Yosaki asked.

The mercenary chuckled before taking a sit atop the racing wagon, sitting with his legs folded. "Yall telling me, yu tew dun' know bout da infamous Hyosube family? Man, dey one them Noble families here in the fire country, not like thems goody two-shoes shinobi clans in the leaf". He took a long drag from his thick cigar, it sizzled lightly, ash accumulating around the red smouldering tip. "nah the Hyosube dibble n dabble in dah underground. Ya hear? that black market or whatever. Which Ima reckoning duh family is pretty powahful. Pou-litcally, and offensavly. Some round these parts say the Hyosube is a bo-ni-fide crime syndicate"

Meanwhile….

Yuuta was busy talking to Yoru and Wahei about his dreams, the three Shinobi were literally geeking out about this theory and that theory. "Well, I don't think I can make myself impervious, even if I could I wouldn't. Would make living pretty boring. However, my goal is to simply stop or extend my biological clock. To stop my aging process. Which where Wahei could probably help. Being a medic and all" Yuuta said. He was so caught up in the moment and that he finally had a few people to talk to about this goal. People though younger than himself were still smart enough or respected him enough to not voice their opinions on Yuuta's morality.

Shigure would pull Yuuta from the conversation as his Byakugan picked up suspicious activity. "Shigure, are there any shinobi amongst their ranks? If so, how many? What about insignias or crests?" the Jounin asked nonchalantly, as if he wasn't even worried about engaging enemies. In truth, Yuuta's analytical and strategic mind had already determined the odds of encountering criminal activity; it was the sole reason he had agreed to Shigure's choice in what route they'd take. Although, the Jounin and other sources had not officially confirmed anything, there were rumors of a Noble family becoming a prominent force within Hi no kuni's criminal underground. Which family was yet to be determined, however in the area North of Konohagakure there were only two families who lived and held business in the region; the Hyosube and the Sakanade families.

The two Noble families weren't a part of the old Mercenary shinobi clans but traced lineage from the Daimyo's family. Because of this they were insanely rich and even more so influential, with some of their members becoming Shinobi.
"Let's intercept. Shall we? Keep an eye on them for me Shigure, let us know if there is any change in their direction or if their numbers increase", the Jounin said to Shigure before walking over to Wahei and Yoru. "Alright you two, let's come up with a plan! I'm partial to trickery and embarrassment. I could totally transform into an old naked hag to distract them. But I'm open to ideas" he the Jounin added, stopping momentarily to draw a makeshift battlefield, then using different colored rocks as placeholders for the enemy and themselves.

LIFE OR DEATH

Shigure's Byakugan was analysing the whole situation, including scanning the inside of the bandits bodies for signs of the ability to mould chakra, and from what he had seen, only one of them had such capability, which made things better for the Leaf Shinobi. When asked about it, Shigure lifted just his index finger. "Only one of them, he seems to have a rather large chakra pool however, far more than me at least... While that alone is not necessarily an indication of strength, I can say he looks like he can hold his own in a fight." he explained to Yuuta and his teammates. "The others are your everyday thug. But they have a ton of weapons and scrolls hidden in that cave, I think they are moving it. Maybe weapon brokers? I see a total of seven of them, not counting the shinobi guy." he added, hoping everyone got a decent picture of what they would be facing very soon.

Yuuta seem open to any approach the team deemed fit, and he even suggested trickery and embarrassment, such as transforming into a old naked hag or something. Shigure didn't quite love those methods, although he did recognise its efficacy in the real world. "Are we seeking to capture them, or kill them, sensei?" he asked in a serene tone. That statement, by itself, was enough to show to Yuuta that Shigure had no reservations about taking a life if it was necessary; he had done it before and would definitely do it again. Still, he showed no special eagerness towards choosing to kill them, showing he also felt no particular pleasure with the situation. He was a pragmatic in that regard.

Now it would be up to the group to decide on how to approach, but Shigure felt that deciding the fate of their enemies was paramount for deciding how to proceed with this plan of attack.

"So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep."
