Willing to NOT kill.

The team was moving towards a unknown destination, but Shigure happened to spot some strange movement and they all decided to investigate what was going on. As the teammate explained the situation, Wahei paid close attention to the details but remained in silence wondering the possible COA they could take - "We still don't have enough information, perhaps we should get closer so Boss could get more details before we decide who to approach or handle stuff" - his thoughts flowed naturally looking from Shigure to Yuta and even Yoru sometimes.

- I really don't see how it would end up being useful against the bad guys - he said promptly as Yuuta explained his 'sexy bait attempt" of strategy. Wahei was incapable of see things maliciously at that time. - Taking into account there's a Shinobi involved, possibly this is out of our league... B-Rank at least - I mean - Even though we have Yuuta-sensei with us, the recommended COA is to report the occurrence ASAP to the village, right? - he said, using the protocol right after Shigure has crossed them with the possibility of eliminating targets. Something that Wahei wasn't willing to do. - Maybe we could just find out more about them from a safety distance and - in the worst case scenario - we knock them out and arrest the Shinobi to interrogation - he added, filled with hope of not engaging an direct combat so he didn't have to kill someone again. It was clear though that the boy wasn't afraid of getting in to action. It wasn't about fear, but anything else that haunted him for quite some time since his former teammates passed in combat.

"From the very moment we're thrown into this world, we're fated to bring each other nothing but pain, suffering and misery. I was also blindly obsessed with a trivial and irrational need for vengeance. But I was left behind. Alone. Forgotten. Abandoned. Forsaken. But now, the fog has been truly lifted. One can never run from its ghosts. And that’s exactly all that I am. A lost memory. An undying shadow, in this world of light. From now on, I’ll have to live up to this semi-charmed kind of life. Regardless of this phantom pain. This is my fate. This is my Destiny. It’s not the light which will guide us through the darkness, but the darkness that shall guide us through the light. Never forget. Always remember."

Yoru started to laugh at his sensei's proposition, it was high-pitched laughter according to the boy's voice, the Nara tried to hide his laughter, but every time he remembered that, he had uncontrollable fits of laughter, the boy took a deep breath and said:

"HAHAHA! S-SORRY YUUTA-SENSEI! I'M LAUGHING RESPECTLY, HAHAHAHAH!"

It wasn't time for him to laugh, Yoru seemed to start thinking of a useful and safe plan for the team, it didn't take long until he finally thought of a plan, he gave a mischievous grin, typical of the young genius when he is happy with the creation of his plan , he looks at the group and says:

"Guys, I thought of something. We can take our ninja wire and wrap it in the trees, so we can know where they are also by the sound, Yuuta-Sensei I thought of you turning into an animal, a fox as soon as they approach pretend to scream please, I intend to use a genjutsu, I call this plan The Fox & the Grapes."

It was a weight taken off his back, it was a good time for the boy to socialize, the young genius expected some response from his colleagues and sensei, already taking the ninja wire from his backpack.

We Are Many
We Are Legion

But oh, I'm just a soul whose intentions are good.
Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood.
Yuuta listened carefully to each of his three genin and he realized that he was enjoying their company not just as their Sensei but simply a Shinobi of the Hidden leaf. The group of genin didn't know how much their time together affected Yuuta, in fact the Jounin himself had only realized recently that he enjoyed teaching almost as much as he enjoyed gaining knowledge. At first he felt pride in that he was able to touch the lives of both his former team and now his current team. However, the more he spent time with his current batch of weirdos the more he realized that he didn't simply become someone important in their lives; rather the children he taught became something important in his life as well.

"What? Contact the village? And here I thought the boss would be the more level headed one" Yuuta replied to Wahei's suggestion, referring to Shigure as Boss as Wahei usually did. The fact that Wahei was the one to suggest contacting Konoha had genuinely surprised Yuuta. it was out of place for him to be the most logical person on their team. Before Yuuta could explain why they wouldn't contact the village at the current moment, Yoru would give his suggestion, which to be honest was similar to what Yuuta would have done if they had enough time.

"Hehe that does sound kinda fun Yoru, I think we'd run out of time, though. If they're numbers increase by meeting up with whomever. We'll be up shites creek"

The three genin would notice by now that Yuuta's pace had quickened, his sights fixed on the direction the criminals were in. The men were slightly exuding a sense of urgency the more they moved towards the hostile group. "Taking from what Shigure's byakugan had seen, these criminals are about to hand off the shipment right now. There is no time to contact the village or set up a trap" Yuuta explained to Wahei and Yoru.

"I have a feeling these people are just grunts. Whoever they're taking the stash too are the real mastermind behind the incident. Let's hit the shipment before they can rendezvous with whoever is supposed to be getting the stash. Aka hit'em and Quit'em" Yuuta said casually, increasing his pace again before taking to the treetops. Up in the trees, Yuuta's mind was still working out several plans for future use. The fact that each of them had offered their own ideas on how to proceed, caused Yuuta's strategic mind to go into overdrive.

While it didn't appear like he was in deep thought, several plans had popped into his head, most of which were overly convoluted and drawn out. Among these were a few simpler ideas, however Yuuta would have to wait until they were upon their targets to decide which of the simpler plans he'd use. More often than not, Yuuta would still use a long exasperated strategy, unconsciously. Despite his first thought, opting for something much simpler and easier to put into action.

Eventually, the caravan of weapons and other stolen trinkets could be seen without a doujutsu. However it was still quite a ways away, Yuuta took the moment to get any last ideas or concerns from his team. "I know you all have been on several missions already without me. It's reassuring that you have some actual experience. Unlike those times, I'm accompanying you all. Let's try to have some fun ok? Go wild my genin!." Yuuta said, though he words were more like a suggestion than actual order. Stringing together a set of handseals the Jounin grew three black and gnarly looking Spore pods before handing one of them to each genin.

"This is a little insurance in case things get difficult. The Ravaging Grey Mold Grenade of the Gure Clan. Remember, I'll be watching, so do your best."

Yuuta's pace slowed, allowing his students to take the lead, though he didn't allow himself to trail too far behind. This was a perfect moment to see just what these kids, and Shigure were capable of. The Jounin didn't care really how they engaged the criminals; so long as they were victorious. Yuuta's prowess in battle tactics were lauded amongst the Jounin in Konoha; not because there weren't other strategists, rather his scores of information combined with his personality, allowed him to adjust to almost any situation.

NAME: Hakai Gure Mōrudo: Shuryūdan [Ravaging Grey Mold: Grenade]
RANK: B
CHAKRA USAGE: Medium
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
ELEMENT:
HANDSEALS: 2
DESCRIPTION:
This jutsu must be prepped before using, for example creating the seed pod in one post then releasing it the next. Using their unique chakra the Gure clan is capable of growing spore pods. As the name implies, the Gure uses the natural "exploding” mechanism of the pod as a sort of grenade. A fairly versatile jutsu, the pods can be grown from any part of the users body making this excellent for stopping pursuers or attacking incoming shinobi. The pods if disturbed will explode sending mold spores flying in all directions. The natural force of the "explosion” is enough to carry the spores up to 15 meters. The spores will cause a grey mold to grow on the target, decomposing any organic matter. The decomposition is fairly dangerous but not exactly fatal. It will penetrate the top layer of skin and into the flesh but not into the muscular system, organs or bones. It should be noted that once the jutsu ends so does the decomposition. That said the rot caused by the mold is enough to cause nasty flesh wounds. The best way survive this jutsu without injury is similar to the restricting green mold technique, which is to immediately wash the mold from the body. Removing the mold without water such as rubbing it with one's hand will also work however, it will be painful. If washed off before fully maturing, which is 4 posts, the mold will only inflict superficial wounds. After fully maturing the mold dies and the jutsu ends. Extreme temperatures can also aid in stopping the growth or canceling the jutsu altogether.

EXPLOSIVE ASSAULT

Shigure was surprised Wahei suggested them to go back to the village, but it made sense in the end, the boy didn't like the prospect of killing his enemies, while Shigure didn't have much of a problem with that. The Hyuuga didn't enjoy it, but he knew that was part of the job, and until the world could know peace, it would still taste blood. At least seemed like Yuuta wasn't willing to go back to the village and let people escape, and when he suggested he expected Shigure to be the one to propose that, he shook his head. "That would be irresponsible. We are agents of the village and we found something that could potentially endanger the citizens of the Land of Fire. If we leave, we might lose them. My Byakugan's range is not that great." he admitted, knowing all too well that some members of his clans could see for many kilometres.

Yoru came up with a plan involving Genjutsu and transformation, and although it sounded interesting, Yuuta rightfully turned it down, as it would take more time, maybe more than they had. Yuuta reached the same conclusion as Shigure, but he voiced it to the group. They needed to respond to this with battle, there was no time to prepare a complex trap, or to go back for reinforcements. Moreover, they had a Jounin with them. Even if the one shinobi in that group was strong, he was likely weaker than Yuuta, or at the very least, he would be in a worst situation having to face four shinobi. "Yuuta-sensei is right. We need to engage in battle." he nodded.

The group approached enough so everyone could see their targets. Shigure kept his Byakugan active to avoid any surprises. "Doesn't seem like there are anyone else in a six-hundred and fifty metres radius of us. I believe that's all of them." he firmly nodded, sharing the intel with the group. As they got ready, Shigure looked at Yoru and Wahei. "Use all explosive tags you have at your disposal, and throw them at their cargo, together with me. The explosion should be big enough to destroy their merchandise, and also knock some of them off. It will also create enough chaos that we can use to make this swift and clean. Copy that?" he asked, as he grabbed his five explosive tags and tied them to the end of his kunais.

Once everyone was ready, he would nod, confirming that. "With me... Three, two, one... Fire!" and with that, Shigure would throw all five explosive kunais at their cargo, hopefully followed by Yoru and Wahei. And once it hit their mark, the explosion would be quite susbtantial.

"So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep."

"You don't always win your battles but it's good to know you fought"
Lauren Bocall

There's always a choice.

Albeit Yuuta and Shigure position, the mednin would simply not agreed to them. Fight was always a choice. Killing is always a choice. And one day, somehow, he would find a way to go through his ninja life without having to kill anyone else. Comrades included.

But a mission is not stage for debate, but to action. And knowing that, Wahei took a long deep breath and focused on the task Shigure had assigned. Wahei nod with and hesitating expression, looking to Yoru waiting the boy to take the lead. - "Should you need a hand, brat? I can make all your insecurities and fear desapear in a blink of an eye" - "Who are you anyway?" - "Oh, y'punk, how'd dare to asking for my name!? I'm Pride, of course" - "I want the killing to end, not another murderer. Specially if it lay in my hands. I'm suppose to fight against the killing thing!" - "Well, kiddo, that's a very tough burden to carry on in this fucked up world. Good luck with that" - "Eh??" - the boy's hands were trembling. He had been in the battlefield before, but this was the first real deal since he had to kill their own comrades.

Waking up and noticing Yoru movement, he would follow through, positioning the explosive tags in the cargo as instructed, some of them in the wheels or whatever mechanism that makes the locomotive move.

Yoru seemed to crack a smile when his plan was correctly refused, as if everything was fine, he knew that on another occasion that plan would be useful, the boy seemed immersed in that thought, but came back to reality when Shigure and the others started to approach their targets.

The targets were right there, Yoru was listening intently to any kind of information that might come in and be useful, the Nara started to feel a kind of relief, there didn't seem to be any reinforcements, the target didn't seem to be that difficult, but it shouldn't be underestimated, the young genius was on standby, waiting for some order.

Shigure's plan was something simple, easy and effective, "Hehehe! The nickname "boss" fits you like a glove, Shigure-san!" The boy's friendly tone reinforced the joke, although it wasn't time for that, Yoru looks around and sees Wahei hesitating, the young Nara just decides to act and throw the kunai with the explosive paper, in order to just blow up that merchandise, returning to Wahei, Yoru smiles at his colleague, "W-Wahei-san, it's ok to feel that way, I've already thrown my kunai so feel comfortable throwing yours, I used to feel that way too, but whenever I think about hesitating I remember my father's words that if the king doesn't move his subordinates won't follow him, it may seem strange, but I feel good when i hear that."

And so Yoru was waiting for Wahei's action, waiting for something else to happen, something "interesting".

Gure Yuuta
Never attempt to win by force
what can be won by deception.

Shigure was quick to act, doing so before the entire group had come to a consensus, which Yuuta did not mind at all. In truth the Gure hoped that the bandits and their shinobi escort would give more of a fight however Shigure was trying to not allow them the chance. A logical and the right way to go about the situation. Oddly enough, Yuuta didn't have to do much work, his genin, who had already been on several missions without him, took the initiative. He could see why they called Shigure boss, he was a natural born leader, analytical and quite the powerhouse. Yoru, was the second to engage, even though they nearly moved in unison, he went after Shigure second, with Wahei following behind Yoru.

Yoru seemed to be the mediator of the squad, a budding tactician, with ever-growing supplies of knowledge. Something Yuuta was fond of as well. Yuuta wondered if Yoru noticed that he was the morale of squad 3. His quick reassurance of both Shigure and Wahei was just as important as Shigure taking the lead or Wahei, as the medic, being the last one to engage. With simple and quick words the young Nara steeled his teammates' convictions, enabling them to follow through with Shigure's plan without further hesitation.

Although Yuuta didn't use the young Nara's suggestion, he made a mental note of Yoru's intellect and decided to follow through with the young genius's plans should they need to come up with one again. Wahei, though the medic and support of the group, was in Yuuta's opinion the life and blood of Squad 3. If things just so happen to make a turn for the worse, Wahei would be the one to revive the team and diminish serious injuries or worse fatalities. The odd thing about Yuuta's current group of students is despite their roles within the team, each of them possessed other qualities that could, if the situation demanded, allow them to switch roles.

It was as if Yuuta could see along the strands of time and the myriad paths each shinobi could go down with their careers. Wahei, although a medic, could shape up to be one of the rare battle medics. Medical shinobi with a unique skill, quality or trait that allows them to forgo the official medical shinobi rules to instead fight on the front lines with their comrades'. Yoru, had all the makings of a talented ANBU black ops operative, which isn't mentioning his clan's Hidan Jutsu, any assassin would kill for the ability to control shadows. While Shigure, despite being the leader and offense between the three, could also work as support, becoming the squad's eyes.

To witness them in action was a sight to behold; regardless of their skill level and shinobi rank. If Yuuta had any constructive criticism, it would simply be to build upon their already decent teamwork by relying on each other's various skills rather than simply falling in line with what the village assigned them. Shigure's plan went off without a hitch, however the subsequent explosion was far larger than the Hyuga probably anticipated. Although Shigure had scanned a decent area, the larger group who was still far from their location would see the billowing smoke coming from the direction of their rendezvous spot. This caused them to not only increase their pace but also ready themselves for what was to come.

"That was quite the large explosion, no? Bigger than I had expected" Yuuta said, jumping down from the treetops to inspect the wreckage and to make sure there weren't any survivors. Upon closer inspection, Yuuta stumbled upon a seared missive, the type transported by carrier pigeons.

"Quickly, grab any of clothing off the bodies and put them on. We do not have much time." According to the mail, the main body of whatever illegal organization was far from their location. Shigure had not spotted them for whatever reason; be it a Kekkai ninjutsu specialist as they were more common than one might think; Yuuta himself was highly skilled with barriers for various situations. Conversely, the main group could have simply been beyond range the Hyuga decided to scan. Whatever the reason didn't matter at the moment in time, as Yuuta was nearly certain the explosion alerted someone… if not the main group.

Yuuta was also quite skilled in combating large numbers of assailants, however his abilities could prove dangerous for his teammates, especially if he had to use them on a large scale. With their valuable time whining down the Jounin decided to use one of the most basic and rudimentary shinobi skills, deceit and subterfuge. The Gure decided against the use of the transformation jutsu as well in order to not run the risk of having their chakra sensed.

NINJA WAY

Their teamwork, albeit far from perfect, was quite well-attuned at this point, thanks to their constant training sessions and the missions they took together, and they act without hesitation, aiming for a precise and deadly assault to take care of the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. The plan went off without a hitch, but the explosion was far larger than Shigure had anticipated, which made him frown his brows. "I misjudged our attack power... I need to be more mindful of that moving forward..." he took the mental note to himself, but didn't say a word; he didn't want to hurt the morale of the team, especially knowing how hesitant Wahei was of injuring others.

The smoke would be a problem, as it would alert their allies that something happened at their location, so they would have to deal with that. It was a larger group, and they increased their pace. "Reinforcements are coming, and they are coming fast." he warned the group, and when Yuuta pointed out the size of the explosion, the Hyuuga nodded, but they didn't have much time to waste. Without the people there, they could check the area and search it.

Yuuta ordered them to grab clothing from them and put them on, and Shigure, although he didn't quite understand the logic behind that at that point in time, he knew better than to question his Team leader under such situation, so with a firm nod he complied with the orders, and grabbed the clothing. There something the Byakugan missed, which meant that they had used some impressive barrier ninjutsu to keep it concealed, for not many barriers could stand against the power of his doujutsu; these people were no amateurs.

When Yuuta avoided using the Transformation technique, it all made sense and Shigure quickly followed suit. "You don't want them to sense us. Make sense if they are capable shinobi... Using their disguise would work better indeed, that's genius, sensei!" he commented, quickly finding a place to lay low, grabbing some of the blood scattered in the area and putting it on himself, while also removing his forehead protector and hiding it in his pouch; a large organisation such as this was unlikely to know the likeness of all their members, especially if they operated in different cells, so using this type of subterfuge would likely work and give them a chance to attack the group when their guard was low.

"So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep."

Deal with Pride.

Wahei felt the weight of being in battlefield again. And yet he wasn't willing to harm others, he knew he'd run out of luck soon enough. Listening to Yuuta's instructions, he complied wearing the enemies cloths whilst phantom pain cursed him in his thoughts. Literally.

- "People create these alter egos that helps them to go through shitty stuff in life. You should see us as your alter egos. We can help you out with that chicken stuff of yours y'know" - "If I allow you to do such things, I'd be conniving with your actions. It would be like putting the blood shedding in my own hands" - "Yeah, but, if anyone asks, you could simply say you lost control to us. That's our advantage. We are not versions of you. We are independent beings locked in your mind" - "How can you say something like that as something positive?"- "Look, kid. This life isn't the fairy tale you insist to put on. This world is what it is, so life is what it is, which means you need to be what you need to be. Capiche?" - "Not really" - "Ok. You have a kunai in your ninja tool kit, right?" - "Of course I do" - "So if one of your comrades took it to harm and kill a motherfucker, that'd put the crime in your hands?" - "Well, if you considered that I provided the kunai to them, then yes" - "You are missing the point! - Look - If someone ambushed your team and giving the kunai was your way to survive or death, what would you do?" - "Depend on the situation." - "No! The guy is going to kill you and your friends and your only way to save him is passing on the kunai. What would you do?" - "It's impossible to consider theory and practice in this kind of situation" - "JUST ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION. WHAT - WOULD - YOU - DO?" - "I DON'T KNOW" - "WHY? THIS IS A SIMPLE QUESTION. WHY DON'T YOU ANSWER IT?" - "BECAUSE I CAN'T! I- I SIMPLY CAN"T, OKAY? I'M SCARED? I-I FEAR DEATH. AND I FEAR HAVING MY FRIENDS KILLED AGAIN" - "Then why did you take her life so easily?" - "Because the only thing I fear most than death... is pain" - "And if you had to face it back again. If you had to choose between a friend and another living being?" - "Stop making those questions. Why you're hurting me this much?" - "Because you want to live up to this fake name, but you don't have the guts to give up your phantom pain. So now you're gonna tell me, what would you do?" - "I think - I'd never let anyone harm or kill my friends ever again" - "Now you have your answer. Live up to it. And when you have no choice, handle the kunai to us. And we will make what has to be done." - "BUT I'll never harm or kill anyone else too! I want to bring peace for this world" - "Believe me, kiddo. Living into a constant state of fear is not the peace you want to bring to this world. One of these days you'll have to get your hands dirty. That's why we are here. That's why this body of our is our tool" - "Why would you help me?" - "Because you're part of us, kid, and I would love the chance of getting into action again" - "Thank you, I guess" - "Are you kidding? It's not the first time I have to clean up your mess. Different times, same you".

Wahei startled again, and it was time to go. Hopefully, the team would not notice his brief of mind stream. Complying to Yuuta strategy and playing his part on the team moves, he was ready in the back line again, processing everything that was said - "Remember, kid. All you need to do is say the word" - and how could Pride effectively help him to built a world of peace. Perhaps he was right, though, and paving that way would require him to get his hands dirty. But what if he could really handle the tool and let them do the dirty part? Would he be able to handle the pressure of doing it? All and all, what choice does he really had? - I'm ready. - that's his first lie in a very long time.

Gure Yuuta
Come fairies, take me out of this dull world. For I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame.
The idea, Yuuta's fast paced thinking was a little too late; the main group was already upon them. The main group was alerted that a battle was going on or had just ended by the large explosion from earlier. The group's leader, Kagero, "the Black Widow", Minazuki, responded to the explosion by sending scouts to gather information. The scouts were of Aburame kin, and used their abilities to scout the situation without having to physically get too close to the randevous location. How they achieved such a feat with Shigure's Byakugan active has yet to be determined. Nevertheless, after scouting the situation, the Aburame scouts returned to their leader and relayed the information to Minazuki, who immediately flew into an unbridled rage.

"
How dare they?! Goddamnit. And those Konoha shinobi thinking that a mere disguise such as changing clothes would be enough to fool me?! Such arrogance. Let's go, we'll be retrieving our merch and dealing with the interlopers." The woman said her words dripping with a seething anger that could only be quench with blood. Taking off towards Yuuta and his gang, the black widow lead her small horde towards the original rendezvous point. By the time Yuuta and his team had commandeered the fallen bandits' clothes, the horde was upon them.

Several bandits and at least two Shinobi not counting the Black Widow herself, who was easily Jounin level in strength. "Oh what do we have here?! A bunch of hidden leaf corpses, trying to pillage my pre-pillaged, pilfered goods" her words knocked all of the good spirit that had been bred by Yuuta and his gang during the excursion. The woman was tall, curvaceous and deathly beautiful, she was surrounded by various bandits with two shinobi other than her on either sides of her. The roaming wagon and horde came to a screeching hilt, Black Widows gang stood poised for the moment Minazuki gave the order.

"Stay close together and on your guard. It's more of them than I thought… shit" Yuuta thought trying to figure out a way out of this predicament, if it were just him then he'd run for it using migration. With his students being with him, using migration was out of the option. Any of the other jutsu would take out several but would leave the kids open for a higher ranking Shinobi to come and attack while Yuuta was busy. The jounin did believe his students abilities were capable however, the game that they were now playing, was of numbers, and Team 3 was lacking in this regard.

"I'm going to use a jutsu that'll clear the way for us to escape. Do not engage, only look back in order to protect your teammate. Do not turn back to help me. I'll be fine. Just keep moving forward…. " Yuuta said, his tone had lost all traces of the man he usually was. His facial expressions gave hint to just how bad things were. The jounin strung together a set of handseals, the black widow pointed at the team three with a devilish grin as Yuuta activated his jutsu.

"GURĒ ICHIZOKU NINPOU: YŌSEI-Ō NO MORI" Yuuta turned to look back at his team and gave a reassuring smile seconds before an enormous amount of Fungi, mushroom, molds, yeasts and slims erupted from the earth around them. Thick spores started to fill the air, increasing within the area as the Jutsu altered the very landscape. The fungal fairy forest grew near instantaneously and in a way that separated the Black Widow group from Yuuta's gang, carving a route for the genin to escape. The scene that played out before them looked as if it had been stolen right from a fantasy novel, a gruesome fantasy novel.

The mushroom and spores created by the jutsu were those utilized in Yuuta's other jutsu. Mushroom boy constructs grew from the ground and launched towards the enemy, digging their maws into the opponent's flesh. Grenade-like spore pods went off one after another expelling flesh destroying molds, turning the enemy's body into nutrients for Yuuta's Fairy King forest. When one or more of the enemy happen to get near the genin, several guardian mushroom would burst forth from the ground defending Yuuta's students. Meanwhile, Yuuta used migration within the forest to keep up with the three students, disappearing and reappearing ever so often to make sure that they were still moving in the right direction. They did not need to worry about Yuuta as he was the master of the fungal forest that continued to grow as that escaped.

"deja vu".

TACTICAL RETREAT

Sometimes the only logical course of action is to retreat. Shigure didn't know how they were able to see through their disguise, but the truth of the matter was: he was still an inexperienced user of the Byakugan, and he was prone to make mistakes. When considering the tiny size of an Aburame insect, and the tiny bit of chakra they carry when by themselves, it was reasonable for someone of his level to overlook it, a mistake a more experienced Hyuuga, with a more mature Byakugan would not commit. Still, fighting them was likely out of question. Yes, Shigure could still hold his own for a while, but Yoru definitely couldn't, and Wahei was a medic, engaging in such direct combat with stronger foes would also be dangerous to him. Therefore, when Yuuta laid out the course of action, telling them to run, the young Hyuuga nodded. "Make sure you make it as well, sensei!" he said, before turning to his comrades. "Let's go!" he exclaimed.

Then, with chakra to strengthen his legs, he darted away from that place, heading back in the direction of the Hidden Leaf Village. His Byakugan was kept activated so he could be aware of what was going on on his surroundings, and to try and keep an eye on Yuuta for as long as he could. "What an impressive technique! He is on a whole different level... So this is the power of the Gure clan, uh?..." he thought to himself as the fungi blocked every single enemy who tried to be elusive and give chase to the Genin.

It was a bit too close for comfort, but ultimately they managed to escape. Their odd vacation was one filled with strong emotions, but it was also an amazing opportunity for them to bond and grow together as a team.

"So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep."

"Déjà vu".
"Those who break the rules are trash, but those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash! If I'm going to be called trash either way, I'd rather break the rules!
And if that somehow makes me anything less than a real shinobi, then I'll crush all of the so-called "real" shinobi!" - Uchiha Obito

"My own Kunai".

The moment to act had come, and by following their instructor call and strategy, they went falling into a bad situation. Wahei was in the back line, watching one by one and trying to process and come up with some strategy. He felt the sweat rolling down his temper to cheek. - "'Ever get the feeling of déjà vu!?" - Envy's voice. The sarcastic tone. The sound of someone laughing out loud. He remembered now. Like a flash, he were throwback to the very moment. All his teammates falling one by one. The impulse of piercing his teammate to get her out of her painful misery. And in his very experience with a new team, they were ambushed in a somewhat very same situation - "Ignore this piece of shit, kiddo-, you're stronger and more prepared. You've managed to reached us. And we are here to help you. So all you need to do is say the word.".

His body started to tremble and got cold. It was almost as if some invisible force were freezing him down. That's when Yuuta order reached his brain. He was right. They should've approached smoothly and reported to the village. But crying over the spilt milk would lead them anywhere. He swallowed his own spit. There was no time to fear. It was time to Wahei stand up and show why he was there. Shigure's voice snapped him out of his own thoughts. - "Boss. How can you be so self asure in a situation like this" - "Does it bother you too?" - "No. It's inspiring, actually" - the cleaned his mind of his thoughts and focused in acting. Shigure pass him and right after Yoru came. With chakra in his legs, Wahei would follow to - "Take care, Sensei" - jumping over the amazing fungus forest created by him, Wahei broke his own barriers to start making some move.

Even though both genins complied with jonin's order, one of the opponents engaged from the right front, using explosives to try to harm them directly, but also using the environment. Shigure would easily find out about the foe's strategy and swiftly advance against him to get rid of the man. But Yoru was yet green and his first mission tasks. And he didn't noticed a part of branch falling right after him.

Since Shigure was steps ahead, he wouldn't have time to come for the boy's aid, so it was up to Wahei. For less than a second he thought to scream, but his body moved faster. He made a water clone and offered his own body for a prompt jump booster. The water clone hit Yoru's back pushing him out of the impact zone, but the branch fell over the clone making it explode.

For a moment, the sound seemed like a bloodshed, but for the team's relief it quickly revealed to be water. Yoru was in the air, trying to use the recent learned climbing three, but hurting his leg because of the gravity pressure. Wahei was ready again to aid him. Craving a kunai into the tree, having chakra in his arms and legs, he took and great impulse to throw himself against Yoru and help him out preventing the boy of taking the fall. - Are you ok? - he wasn't, the hurt in his leg wouldn't allow him to run.

"Nice job, kiddo" - "Sometimes, we must rely on others. But I also decided that I'd be my own kunai" - "I hope you live up to those words. I'd better get the hell out of there real quick!".

- Boss, need a hand over here! - the damage in the trees would make more debris fall over them. But Yoru need a quick first aid treat and to be carried. Meanwhile Wahei was about to finish his aid and putting Yoru in the back to carry him out of there, another branch was about to get them. But this time Shigure had the time to come along and strike the branch, protecting his teammates. - Thanks Boss. I'll carry Yoru over. Please, be our eyes for a clear extraction! - that confidence and posture. It was a totally different Wahei from the whole moment they went through the mission. But they had no time to get impressed about minor facts. They had to go, and so, they did. Retrieving and following their Sensei's instructions.
