With everything now set up with the Chunin it was time to get down to business the arena was divided into sections and each of the chunin went their separate ways towards their assigned areas. Taki took it upon herself to helping out with Taijutsu instruction which was done in a large cut off section in the arena giving everyone plenty of room to cut loose, within reason of course. The section was openly visible and had a line to enter inside.

Outside there was a line where several young genin would wait to be called as they watched others practice Taijutsu in 30 minute intervals before being swapped around. As instructors it was their job to help some of the less physically gifted shinobi become acquainted with and improve their skills by exposing them to different forms of hand to hand combat, And to help those who already are physically inclined push themselves to greater heights.

Taki had already helped a few students improve their skills this morning and while she’d much rather be keeping an eye on her own kids. She knew that working for the betterment of the village would get her closer towards getting the promotion she’d been pining after and maybe even allow her to learn a thing or two.

Throughout the afternoon there had been a particular genin who had been rather vocal about her distaste for the village of Iwagakure and Taki took that rather personally, lately the young sage had been growing a bit more attached to her home. She started to understand the importance of military service and while it still wasn’t her preferred life she’d begun to respect it, which is something she had hoped to instill in this younger girl. Respect for Iwa and for her fellow alliance members.

"Next!" the girl would say calling out to whomever else was next to join her, the last boy who exited out looked just a little bit banged up but nothing a doctor's visit couldn't fix.

This whole scenario was horseshit. Sadako was being strongly considered for chuunin exam participation—as was good and correct—but that also meant that she got shipped off to this summit thing in Iwagakure, because Iwa was hosting and they were trying to shore up the ~alliance’s potential~ or something like that. Fuckin’ whatever, right? They were all competing, and this was clearly just a stupid bid for Iwa to get an upper hand on everyone else by sussing out the competition ahead of time. It was so obvious, and yet. Here she was, against her will. She got tossed into Taijutsu training, since that was her specialization. She would have preferred genjutsu training, since she was already a sickass taijutsu master and there was no point in putting her in with these Iwa bitch babies who didn’t know a back kick from a toe stub, but even this was better than, like, bukijutsu or something stupid like that. She wasn’t paying attention to the proceedings, her focus entirely taken up by looking at what she could see of the area and taking notes on what she could mercilessly mock when the occasion called for it. The last kid wandered off with a black eye and a busted lip, though Sadako had no idea how he acquired either, and the orange, obnoxious blonde Iwa nin who seemed to be running this particular shebang called the next person forward. Sadako, unfortunately, was the next person, so she stepped forward. "Alright,” she said, cracking her neck. "Show me your sick little flips or rock chops or whatever it is you Iwa nin got so we can both go home, yeah? This isn’t worth my time.”

As the girl made her way into the arena with Taki, the girl would look towards her not liking her attitude, but recognized it all to well she was the exact same way when she took her exams before too. Her clothes were definitely reminiscent of someone who was skilled in Taijutsu as evidenced by her frame she looked to be around Taki's age if not older and had a good look about her, too bad her personality didn't match she could've been a star. Judging by the headband she was from Amegakure a city kid most likely and by the sounds of it not a fan of the Okada.

"Little flips and tricks do I look like a clown ta you…watch who ya tawlking too.” the girl would say, in her thick Okadan accent as she crossed her arms, dismissing the girl. "And I don't give a shit about your time, you got an exam to pass but if you don't wanna step up I got no problem helping you step aside.” with that Taki would turn the dial on a timer she kept in her jacket and then set it on the table on a delay before starting.

"Anyway, You’ve got 10 minutes to show me your stuff and when it's awl ova I'll tell you what you need to improve and we go from dere.” Taki would remove her coat and look down towards the smaller girl taking note of her body language, she had all the qualities Taki did the same kind of look and stare but it was in all the wrong places, whatever her problem this was not the place to deal with it.

As she stood there her title belt would gleam in the light, the Iwagakure emblem in the center, and the Okada clan side plates shining brightly and the words Sage written within the gold. It may have been extravagant but it wasn’t just for show. "Ding Ding Princess!” she’d shout trying to spur the girl on awaiting her first move as the clock winded down.

Do I look like a clown ta you… "I didn’t say it,” Sadako muttered snidely under her breath, quietly enough that the other girl wouldn’t hear. She looked younger up close, which made Sadako doubt that she was even qualified enough to be running this show; was she actually a chuunin? Clearly Iwagakure didn’t have any god damn standards. "Ten minutes?” Sadako echoed, cracking her neck. "Plenty of time to throw your ass in the dirt, clown.” The timer started; the other girl took off her coat. She was even more obnoxious and orange underneath, in a stupid little singlet and fishnets and a huge shiny belt cinched around her waist. Sadako would have rolled her eyes, but—it was go time. She wasn’t about to take her gaze away from her opponent. Basic information: the other girl had about two inches and twenty pounds on Sadako, by the look of her. Taller, heavier, better reach. Fine, manageable. The word Sage was emblazoned on that gaudy belt, right by the Iwagakure village symbol and some other tasteless sigils that she vaguely remembered seeing around town. What sage meant, she had no idea, so she dismissed it out of hand. Sadako bounced on the balls of her feet, loosening up her joints and rolling her wrists before taking up a light-footed stance, her hands held loose and ready in a protective position in front of her face. First step: test her reflexes and her sensitivity to genjutsu. Sadako quickly darted in to shorten the gap between them, throwing out a quick one-two jab-jab combo; no real effort to hit the other girl, and she was far enough away that the punches wouldn’t have connected regardless. The movement made the bracelet around her wrist jingle softly; she molded chakra at the forefront of her mind, focusing on the sound of the ringing bells and imagining it repeating on and on and on in the blonde girl’s ears.

The girl would seemingly call her a clown and had a rather eager look on her face, everyone else had thought this’d be a cakewalk as well. As she tapped for the bell to begin the girl would look to the over eager Amegakurian tracing her motions with her eyes watching for any subtleties in her motions. As Sadako moved in close Taki would see that the girl would stop just out of her reach with her strikes a smart ploy.

However on reaction the Okadan would attempt to use the momentum of the girls feigned blows against her, stepping in and wrapping her arms around the girl before she could finish her punches only to rotate her body into a snappy powerslam smashing the girls head back and neck into the hard dirt canvas. After a second the girl would puff out her jacket as she stood up and would hear an odd ringing noise, she’d pick at her ear but she’d still be able to hear it, looking over at the girls arms and seeing a bracelet and knowing there wasn't much that she had on her that could produce that she'd deduce the idea as genjutsu. "Hey dats pretty cleva…” the girl would say crafting a seal to break the technique.

Afterwards she’d take a few steps back. "Alright c’mon…no more party tricks” she’d then give the girl a moment to stand up to her feet. "You can’t honestly tell me dat ya tappin out already.” the girl would continue to taunt her as she laid in the dirt, that landing would be pretty rough if it succeeded, and the Okada were known for her strength as well as their wrestling acumen around Iwa and she was no exception

One second, she was throwing punches—the next, she was staring up at the ceiling, her vision spinning and her back aching like all of her vertebrae had just been snapped. Everything hurt, and she had no fucking clue what had just happened to her. ’... Tappin out already.’ She barely heard the tangerine wonder’s taunts, but got the gist enough for her lip to curl into a nasty sneer as she scrambled to her feet, pushing down and ignoring the hot pain in her back. Pushing her pain down, away, where no one could see it except for the animal part of her brain: it was second nature, as easy as breathing. The bland, bored annoyance that had plagued her day thus far sunk deeper into her belly, simmering into anger. She was here, now. Focused. Sadako bounced twice on the balls of her feet, shaking out her arms in a display of gathering herself—causing the bracelet to jingle once again. Again she molded chakra, but this time she projected the image of clones of herself on either side of her, perfectly mimicking her every move. She rushed in to close the gap with quick, practiced footwork, and feinted with a jab before following up with a hard, clean bodyshot: a hook to the kidney.

As the girl had released the younger girl from the slam she’d stand right back up that incessant ringing still in her ears, she'd look towards the girl. "C'mawn clocks tickin! You got about 7 or so minutes left." the girl would say still taunting her, not taking much time to charge her. As the girl bounced on the balls on her feet the incessant ringing would vanish.

However this something seemed up suddenly there was a clone, but not a single hand seal was cast, what kinda ninjutsu was this? "What da…?” she’d see the two of them come towards her and she’d throw out a feint it looked like it was coming from all sides and she’d raise both hands, but the second clone had no mass behind it’s punch, which was an odd feeling.

And while she managed to stop the feint, but the second hit would still keep its way coming smashing her directly into her gut, since she was still mentally caught off guard by the realization of the genjutsu. "Gaaah.” the girl would say it was a solid punch but now that she had a grip on the girl she’d twist her arm forcefully behind her back and then keep one of her wrist wrapped around her neck and thick chicken-wing chokehold.

Suffice the say the girl was a tad aggravated and she’d drag her down to the ground keeping the hold on her the clock still visible in front of the young girl so far 2 and a half minutes had passed, how long could she last. "Nice trick by da way, Alright you gotta hit in, now TAP!” the girl would wrench the hold in as tough as she could she knew just how long to keep it on before the girl would fade, but just how long would she last in the hold.

The satisfaction that Sadako felt at landing a hit was fleeting, because as quickly as her punch connected with the solid core of Mango Tango’s side, that connection was used against her: Sadako’s arm was wrenched behind her back and she was drawn into a vicious chokehold. Then: the ground. Her senses became nothing but dirt and the crook of a meaty, muscular arm, and the indignity of a ticking clock. It was a solid hold, crushing Sadako’s trachea, and she couldn’t get enough of a breath in to speak. That didn’t stop her from trying, her lips moving in the faint litany of fuckyoufuckyoufuckyoufuckyou that didn’t make a single sound outside of breathless wheezing. Spots swam in her vision. A thought swam up from the bowels of her psyche, unbidden and unwanted: Is this how mom died? Simmering anger erupted into white-hot rage as Sadako brought her hands up to claw at Orange Crush’s arm, all thought of sensible, fair sparring ejecting from her brain in favor of doing as much damage as humanly fucking possible in the time she had left. If she was going to get choked out, fine, but she was taking a pound of Iwagakure flesh down to hell with her. Short, cleanly trimmed nails dug deep into the forearm choking her out, while she kicked blindly and viciously, trying to get at any soft spots she could with her comparatively limited reach. And all the while: her silhouette was limned in a bright yellow aura, something that Sadako herself seemed hardly cognizant of, so potent and immediate was her blind, hungry rage.

As the girl kept her hold on the young Takeda she’d feel the girl attempt to kick and squirm as the clock began to wind down she’d attempt to struggling and try to grab hold of the arm that was keeping her at bay when suddenly this flicker of a bright yellow aura would begin to shine ever so briefly, noting that the girl might’ve had a trick up her sleeve Taki herself opted to put the Kibosh on things here.

"Keep squirmin it ain’t gonna help.” after a moment the girl would place her foot in front of the girls squirming leg stepping on her toes to pin it to the floor before sweeping it out from under her and and pressing her head into the floor, that yellow aura seemingly still keeping itself up. "Da hell is dat thing?” the girl would say with genuine confusion. the girl would snap back to her feet thinking for sure that she might’ve put her down a hard landing like that after the powerslam she received would’ve more than likely knocked her out cold, but still she seemed to be manifesting something…what it was she wasn’t sure.

She had the same name as lord Sanosuke so she had wondered just what that could’ve been, some kind of bloodline trait. "C'mawn, you cawlin it quits already princess? Where's awl dat bravado you was tawlkin huh!?" with that she'd stand up to her feet and wait for the girls next move, clapping loud and obnoxiously as the others waiting in line looked on.

Sadako was dropped. Tropicana bitch was saying something, but the blood rushing in Sadako’s ears drowned it out, as she collapsed to all fours and wheezed in a vain attempt to get oxygen back into her muscles and lungs. A logical person would have thrown in the towel. Called it quits. A blow to her pride, sure, but she’d clearly been beaten. Get out of here. Give up. Get it over with. But there wasn’t any logic left; her only strategy the muscle memory she’d beaten into herself, the instinctive tactics she’d trained again and again. No memories flooded her mind, no coherent sentiment. Sadako felt rage, and she felt hate, and she felt grief with such a bone-deep intensity that it felt as if it would consume her whole, if she let it. She let it. It felt good. Sadako stood up, chest heaving, and wiped saliva from the corner of her mouth. She spat on the ground. She glared at her enemy—the bored, dark gaze of the sullen teenager given over to a vibrant yellow, glowing with hate. She grunted, and rushed in. Right before entering Taki’s reach Sadako would drop to the ground to skid the rest of the way forward, then push up from her hands with an unprecedented amount of force to attempt to deliver a side kick directly to the other girl’s pelvic bone.

As the girl made her way towards her she’d notice that weird cloak seemingly acting up again which had her asking quite a few questions in her own head. As this went on she’d see the girl stand up the kid had spunk and she liked that, but she had a look in her eye that seemed to be a bit familiar she wondered what it might mean. "I know dat look, am I your enemy? C'mon hit me!” she noticed a look in her eye as she glared in her general direction and watched as she made her way forward and would sweep low it caught her slightly off guard but as her hands went down and her legs came up the girl would feel the impact against her groin and would snarl as she managed to catch her leg before it pulled back.

Now with a little venom in her system the girl would grab her legs and quickly add a slight rotation to her feet and spin the girl about tossing her into the dirt at an angle that would cause her to land either head or back first into the ground crashing into the dirt. She’d look back at the clock that she had set up.

"Eyy, looks like you broke a record…now let’s see if you can last the final four.” thus far none of the other genin had managed to last longer than 3 minutes and here she was about to make a case for 5, but after such a tumble did the girl have the strength to stand. "Let’s go princess.” she’d then clap in a cadence of 5 repeating the same phrase. "Let’s go princess.” Now she knew she could hang she wanted to see how far she could take it.

The yellow glow disappeared between one dazed blink and the next, the eerie aura wisping off her shoulders and into the ether. She pushed herself up onto an elbow, spat out a mouthful of blood, and a tooth went flying out with it. She heaved, vomiting up a splatter of blood and bile. The pain was clarifying, something to focus on; like all that anger had scoured her clean, and now her direction was absolutely crystal clear. Nothing left to run on, and no way to get to her destination, but she was gonna damn well try anyway. "I’m not your fuckin’ princess,” Sadako said. Her words slurred together, barely intelligible through the blood still welling in her mouth. "You’re just a piece of shit—Iwa—” She stumbled forward, still trying to put up an offensive effort despite her clear inability to do much of anything at all.

Princess played on repeat, the broken gramophone of her mind creaking along without her consent. She’d long since lost this fight; she knew that, and that hurt more than any of the beating rained down upon her thus far. She’d never even stood a chance. But who would she be, if she gave up now? For so long she’d imagined what it would be like to throw down with an Iwa nin—given half the chance she’d sworn she’d exact her vengeance, make it abundantly clear where their place was in the totem pole. But she failed, in the end. She let her parents down. Sadako swayed in place, clearly struggling to stay on her feet, or even fully conscious. But she staggered forward anyway, throwing a wild haymaker that was doomed to miss, stubbornly refusing to concede until she was put out of her misery for good.

As the girl would come her way swinging a wild haymaker the girl would step out of her way and callously push her away knocking her into the dirt. "Please..." with that the girl would stand over dropping down into a squatting position, looking over the girl, her gaze would linger on her broken body as a small smile would come over.

"Well she's detoimed at least." she'd think to herself. "I mean a kick to da bawls, dats something I would do." after a moment the clock would wind down just past the 1 minute mark, she'd look over at it.

"Clock is still ticking you out?" her tone this time however was a bit softer she could obviously handle being heckled but now just how much spirit does she have left,60 more seconds was all she needed. "Wakey wakey...heh ya know if I was you I'd stay down." the girl would say as she leaned against the wall.

She probably wouldn't be able to get to the count knowing how tapped she was, but if she could wouldn't that be something. She had already seen enough of how the girl fought to give her a proper assessment but now this was a test of her guts how much heart did she have in her.

No one else had made it this far, but something about her defiance made Taki thing she could do it. "Damn does the dirt feel dat good...? Goddamn disappointment, is what you are."
