[Dodomeki Chitoku]

About This is a collection of missions posted throughout the world that typically do not pay well enough to garner the attention of shinobi villages out in the western most countries. Wandering shinobi can charge less and still make roughly the same profit because they don't have to share profits with a village. That isn't to say that village shinobi are prohibited from taking these missions, but they would not be appropriate as evidence towards economic growth because the payout is just enough to cover each participating shinobi's expense. Note that even the D-Rank missions listed are outside of any shinobi village and may be outside of travel restrictions for genin.

Builds Character MISSION RANK: D NPC REQUIRED: No RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Open Repeatable Mission DESCRIPTION: Throughout the Vegetable Country travelers hard on their luck can make some coin acting as a farm hand for a day. Duties vary depending on the season but include tending to crops, harvesting, animal husbandry, butchering, milking cows, and pest control.

Samurai Shampoo MISSION RANK: D NPC REQUIRED: No RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Open Repeatable DESCRIPTION: The honorable samurai Nagamitsu of the Iron Country needs help grooming his beloved hound, Ruiji. Unfortunately, the dog absolutely hates being bathed and is extremely evasive to capture inside of Nagamitsu’s fenced in three acre property. Ruiji must be captured and bathed!

The Tenth Life MISSION RANK: D NPC REQUIRED: No RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Hanyuu Ayane & Dodomeki Chitoku DESCRIPTION: Kenzo from The Land of Birds recently saw his grandma’s cat get scooped up and taken by a hawk into the forest. It was days ago, so he doesn’t think retrieving the cat will be possible. Instead, he asks that you find another cat that looks somewhat like the fat orange cat that was lost. His granny is hard of sight so it shouldn’t be too difficult, but it will be difficult to find a stray as plump as Moci was.

Shadow Warriors MISSION RANK: C NPC REQUIRED: No RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Open Repeatable Mission DESCRIPTION: In a world full of shinobi, the Iron Country must prepare their samurai to defend against threats lurking in the shadows. A cloistered school nestled in the valley of a small mountain range periodically hires shinobi to try to steal a sealed scroll without being noticed at the center of their dojo. The students do not know they are being tested and will respond with lethal force. You are not to seriously injure any students and must escape if caught. Mission success involves succesfully escaping with the scroll.

The Onikuma Trail MISSION RANK: C NPC REQUIRED: No RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Open Repeatable Mission DESCRIPTION: The Wood Country serves as an obstacle for trade between the Bird and Law Countries. The woods have a threat of dangerous wild animals such as bear, snakes, and cougars. It is also a popular site for the lawless to set up, and they make a living off of raiding the trade caravans. The mission is complete when the caravan traverses from one country to another safely.

Tax Collection MISSION RANK: C NPC REQUIRED: No RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Open Repeatable Mission DESCRIPTION: The office of the Diamyo in the Land of Vegetables often struggles to collect taxes from the rural inhabitants throughout the country. They are outsourcing shinobi to visit some particularly hostile homes that their officials haven’t been able to collect from. The mission is to attempt to negotiate for pay or to seize property if they refuse. Past attempts have led to violent altercations, although they have never turned lethal. The government would like to keep it that way, so don’t kill anyone.

The Association MISSION RANK: B NPC REQUIRED: Yes (Individuals taking mission must request one) RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Enabled PARTICIPANTS: Dodomeki Chitoku , Muramasa Uemon , Hanyuu Ayane , namikawa suisei DESCRIPTION: A citizen of the city of Wakkanai in Law Country has grown suspicious that the president of his chōnaikai (neighborhood association) is involved in the disappearance of several of his neighbors. Anytime someone fails to maintain their property or is otherwise a nuisance, they disappear soon after. The mission will entail investigating the disappearances and doing battle or capturing a Jashinist named Karin and several of her acolytes. Karin posses the ability Shi no Bōshi. Each of them wields a weapon that are disguised as lawn care tools or farm equipment.

The Borderlands MISSION RANK: B NPC REQUIRED: Yes (Individuals taking mission must request one) RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Enabled PARTICIPANTS: Open DESCRIPTION: A nukenin from Ishigakure once made his home in the mountains that separate the Kzae no Kuni and Tori no Kuni. Careful not to anger Sunagakure, the outlaw was a plague to the small towns in Bird Country. Eventually, he was taken out by his village, but he taught a group of bandits the basics of shinobi arts. Tori no Kuni is paying a reward for wiping out the remnants of his band to restore order to the region. The skill level of most of the bandits is comparable to academy students, although some have attained the abilities of genin.
