Unlike with chakra conductive weapons, this does not allow the chain to do anything like increase its cutting potential or flexibility, or provide it with strength against other elements. In fact, it runs the chakra through the chain links, allowing it to suddenly erupt outward once it reaches the weight attached at the end. This process allows it to change it's trajectory at a moment's notice, making it potentially dangerous for those who assumed to have just evaded the weight and the chain.

Isonade Yōshiki NAME: Isonade Yōshiki: Samehada [Isonade Style: Shark Skin] RANK: D CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu ELEMENT: -- HANDSEALS: -- REQUIREMENT: Isonade equipped DESCRIPTION: With a quick and nimble movement, a length of chain will quickly be wrapped around Keneō's hand and part of his forearm, it's smooth side on the inside and the barbs and hooks on the outside. With his hand reinforced, he can then protect himself against an attack from a bladed weapon, potentially even hooking it in place for a moment until the attacker pulls their weapon free. In addition to being a defensive move, this can also be performed before landing an unarmed strike, using the barbs and hooks to shave off skin and flesh, thus lending it the name that is akin to a shark's skin.

Isonade Yōshiki NAME: Isonade Yōshiki: Gekitai [Isonade Style: Reject] RANK: D CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu ELEMENT: -- HANDSEALS: -- REQUIREMENT: Isonade equipped DESCRIPTION: By taking roughly a meter of chain in hand, Keneō will spin the weight around in a chosen direction. Due to the high pace at which the weight circles, the chain attached effectively becomes a rotation shield that will not let a single projectile pass through it, effectively 'rejecting' the attack by sending the approaching projectiles elsewhere. It is worth noting that this will only work on projectiles of rank similar to the chain weapon used or below, as well as ordinary kunai, senbon and shuriken. If projectiles are approaching in a wider attack, the user can choose to take up to one and a half meter of chain to spin, thus slightly increasing the rate of protection.

Isonade Yōshiki NAME: Isonade Yōshiki: Shirizokeru Kaeri [Isonade Style: Repulse Return] RANK: C CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu ELEMENT: -- HANDSEALS: -- REQUIREMENT: Isonade equipped DESCRIPTION: A more advanced form of Gekitai, Shirizokeru makes more use of the chain's unique barbs and ridges when spinning. Through increased levels of mastery, Keneō performs the exact same move, taking roughly a meter of chain in hand and spinning the weight around in a chosen direction. Creating the same 'rotating shield', the hooks and barbs will not merely deflect the projectiles but take them along in their rotation. Then, with a quick outward flick of the weight, the projectiles caught within its rotations will be flung at a target or direction of Keneō's choosing. It is worth noting that this will only work on projectiles of rank similar to the chain weapon used or below, as well as ordinary kunai, senbon and shuriken. If projectiles are approaching in a wider attack, the user can choose to take up to one and a half meter of chain to spin, thus slightly increasing the rate of protection.

Isonade Yōshiki NAME: Isonade Yōshiki: Wani Kaiten [Isonade Style: Revolving Shark] RANK: C CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Bukijutsu ELEMENT: -- HANDSEALS: -- REQUIREMENT: Isonade equipped DESCRIPTION: By taking roughly a meter of chain in hand, Keneō will spin the weight around by his side before quickly feeding in more and more length of chain. By altering the trajectory of the chain with quick and nible hand movements, the weight will flick about seemingly randomly though the pattern and trajectory at in fact under full control. By doing this, in mere moments the 'erratic' movements of the weight will cause the chain to adopt a dome-like pattern with Keneō at its center, allowing for protection from omnidirectional attacks. It is worth noting that this will only work on projectiles of rank similar to the chain weapon used or below, as well as ordinary kunai, senbon and shuriken. By the time the technique ends, one can see an almost perfect circle carved into the ground around the user.
