Festival Preparations III MISSION RANK: C-Rank NPC REQUIRED: N/A RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Nakahara Ichī Honō Kojirou DESCRIPTION: Leading up to the festival prepared for Kusagakure, some troublemakers have started beef with one of the merchants over not getting what they want. Therefore, the troublemakers decided to start trouble. The merchant was worried for his booth and called upon the help of two Kusa-nin - Ichī and Kojirou - to keep watch over the area around the booth and apprehend the troublemakers should they decide to cause trouble. They did. Atop a roof, Kojirou and Ichī had to discipline these youngsters, teaching them not to bother elderly workers just because things weren't going their way. It was silly. Kojirou burned his wooden stick, and Ichī ended up spreading grass pollen everywhere, likely giving the fleeing kids quite the hay fevers. However, as an unlikely duo of fauna and flames, Kojirou and Ichī made the kids stay away from the merchant and enjoyed a colorful festival without troubles brewing.

Clear Skies MISSION RANK: C-Rank NPC REQUIRED: N/A RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Yamanaka Itsuki Honō Kojirou DESCRIPTION: Missing messenger birds are disturbing communications meant to be sent to Konohagakure, last spotted passing over the Land of Wind. The Konoha-nin Yamanaka Itsuki, with the help of the Kusa-nin Honō Kojirou, travel across the lands to reach the Land of Wind, and thanks to traps laid out by bandits, they pinpoint a canyon with caverns on the near top of the precipices where bandits hurl rocks down to squash them. Itsuki's clairvoyant prowess alllows the two shinobi to avoid the rocks and make quick work of the hostile enemies, which leads to them discovering a cage containing multiple dead messenger birds, mostly malnourished and mistreated - however, one of them is still alive and kicking. Suspicious of the motivation behind such a cruel action, they keep one enemy alive and interrogate him swiftly, surprised to see how cooperative he is now that the cat's out of the bag. After revealing letters and bills from a certain, private individual who orchestrated this ordeal, the hostage is executed by Itsuki, and the caverns rid of evidence. The last bird is freed to continue its journey to the Land of Fire, along with the two shinobi.

Building Renovations MISSION RANK: D-Rank NPC REQUIRED: N/A RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: juryoku yusei Honō Kojirou DESCRIPTION: The big walls surrounding Kusagakure were wearing out overtime, so renovations were in order. Kojirou used the opportunity as a volunteer to practice one-handed seals on bigger Jutsus such as the Black Fountain Technique, which turned out to be a wonderful alternative for cement allegedly. However, to help with the moving and placement of bricks, a member of the Jūryoku clan - Yusei, an experienced construction worker himself - aided the jolly swordsman in stapling bricks while Kojirou laid the foundations of tar to stick the bricks together. Due to using one-handed seals, the volume of tar was far smaller than normal, but it fitted with the size of each brick, so Kojirou gladly took his time getting used to weaving one-handed handseals until he felt confident that a Jutsu as volumous as the Black Fountain could be performed with only one hand. He should try out this construction work more.

JUTSU BEING LEARNED: Training for EXP Only SENSEI BONUS: No LINK TO THREAD: Swords & Slashes DESCRIPTION: Kojirou's not the most creative when it comes to names, so one day while practicing kata in Konohagakure, he ponders over what his sword's new name shall be. During this dilemma, he meets a familiar face from the previous Chuunin Exams, Tokaku - a tall kunoichi hailing from both the Hatake clan and the Uchiha clan. She offers a new name for his sword and requests his cooperation in a spar, and he gladly accepts the request, since they never got to face off during the Exams before. He witnesses her sword style, her Sharingan, and the limits of her spare sword which breaks in half from colliding with his- not his fault, though, he didn't mean to!

[CE Round 2, Group F] Solid Stone & Flowing Magma [CE 2.2 | Goro VS Kojirou] The Job Squad [CER3 | Katsuo vs Kojirou vs Konsho] DESCRIPTION: Kojirou tested his accumulated skills in last year's Chūnin Exams, teaming up with his friends Atagi and Koume as they begin the exam by racing through the terrain of Kaminari no Kuni - their destination was Kuwana, and they were immediately lunged into the second round of the Exams upon reaching the finish line. Exhausted from the mountainous terrain they chose to travel across, Kojirou may have accidently triggered an Iwa-nin who was grouped up with him during Round 2, but it was also here he met Goro - the surprisingly young Iwa-nin who would later on become his opponent in the last part of Round 2. Despite losing awkwardly to Goro, Kojirou got a second chance at life - participating in a three-way match at the beginning of Round 3 would grant him a chance to advance to further rounds if he could outlast at least one of his two opponents among Katsuo and Konsho. In spite of sorting out a truce with Katsuo, the traitorous bastard caught Kojirou in a rain of Senbon - and that was after breaking his damn sword, that- that monster. BEAST! KIZUMI-SAMA, SPANK HIM UNTIL HE BLEEDS!

A Grassy Respite MISSION RANK: C-Rank NPC REQUIRED: N/A RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Yamamoto Shosuke Honō Kojirou DESCRIPTION: Hirata is continuing to grow as an optimal trade center between the Land of Fire and the Land of Fields. Kojirou and Shosuke meets up at the village, and their first interactions are... say, a bit toon-like. After embarrassing himself by trying to mount a panda, Kojirou's desire to be useful and helpful beckons him to go above and beyond, losing his cool but providing with food for the workers and wood to cut down. His rather eccentric nature seems to intrigue Shosuke in some way, but he was still useful in the end.

Sea Wolves MISSION RANK: C-Rank NPC REQUIRED: N/A RANDOM MISSION SCENARIO: Disabled PARTICIPANTS: Tateyama Yakitsukeru Honō Kojirou DESCRIPTION: The sea can be a perilous place to travel across. Many sailors know this, and thus while taking a risk transporting huge goods across the open sea with pirates looming in every corner of the horizon, they ease their burdens by hiring shinobi as guardians. Kojirou from Kusagakure and Yakitsukeru from Konohagakure are hired to defend one of these ships from what turns out to be a multitude of pirate gangs, all dealt with alternatively by Yaki's high skills with her new meteor hammer, and by Kojirou's growing competence in using one-handed handseals for smaller offensive Jutsus.

JUTSU BEING LEARNED: Training for EXP Only SENSEI BONUS: No LINK TO THREAD: Afterlife DESCRIPTION: Kojirou's drive to become stronger rose rapidly after the events of the Chuunin Exams anno 1023. Outside of Hohei-chō, he quietly practices his skill with weaving one-handed seals, but the challenge of manifesting Jutsus larger than just lava shuriken is still in the way. Enter Ahma, whom he met last time in a cave on his way to Kuwana, who had found her way to Nohara no Kuni and indulged in his training with sage counsel of her own - her aid was well-appreciated, especially when she suggested the use of a crystal mirror to replicate his 'other' hand for handseals. Kojirou overcame a hurdle quite smoothly thanks to her assistance, and his friendship with the vagabond Crystal Release user further grew.
