Kazui didn’t care much that the chicken decided that it wanted to explore the maze as well for whatever reason, as long as the damn thing stayed out of the way, then they were good to go. With the bunny sectioned off from the main area of the maze, the girl’s focus remained on trying to find a way into the portion where Jackie was sheltering himself, but with no clear entrance available to them other than the bunny trails, it seemed as if they would have to force themselves in side.

Sighing gently beneath her breath, Kazui’s gaze would follow Toru as he probed around looking for anything that would help, but of course not much was found that could be useful to them. There were no trick doors, levers, or anything of that nature, at least from what Kazui could tell. So it seemed as if their only hope was to break through the ice. But she didn’t want to shatter the entire thing, since it would become increasingly difficult to contain the bunny with an escape route so large. But what other choice did they have?

With Ayukawa still resting her weight against her, Kazui’s eyes drifted, shifting between the many bunny trails. There were four on the right side, which Kouki and Ryoko would have passed on their way towards the center, and there were three in front of them. For a brief moment, Kazui’s eyes would change from black to crimson as she looked at the ice. She could see Jackie’s chakra signature well enough to know that he wasn’t moving much and was positioned just slightly northward from their current position, towards the part of the maze that they had yet to explore. "Save your energy.” She said quietly as she gently let the girl go, her eyes returning to their normal dark hues. "If we all use the transformation technique and turn ourselves into chickens or rabbits, we should be able to fit through.” Kazui suggested.

"But I do think we should split up again.” Looking around at everyone, the Uchiha would continue. "It doesn’t matter exactly who, but I think three of us should enter through here, and herd the bunny further ahead.” She said pointing toward the area of the maze that remained uncharted. "That’s where we’ll send the second team, and hopefully team one will chase the bunny directly into their hands.” She was being wishful, but the strategy wasn’t a bad one. It’s the best that she had in her mind at the moment.

"I’ll be on the retrieving team.” She murmured as she took a few steps forward, unless someone had anything else planned, she would wait for everyone to decide. Once the teams were sorted out, Kazui would make her way across the studded floor and into the unexplored region, looking around, she would find a few more bunny trails that led into the section of the maze where she thought the rabbit was. As she made her way forward, the girl would see two openings that led to Jackie’s current position. Walking hesitantly, quietly, trying to ensure she didn’t startle him, Kazui would wait in position.

Uchiha Bloodline: One Tomoe Sharingan:
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. The sharingan gifts the user a variety of abilities for them to use, the most notable is the user’s enhanced perception to the point where everything that is seen is perceived in a somewhat slowed state which gives the user the ability to analyze and obtain a good sense of the opponent’s movements/actions, and while this is in no way comparable to the likes of a more mature sharingan, the ability is not to be taken lightly. In addition it allows the user to read lips, and decode other movements as well, which stems from the eye’s enhanced perceptive abilities. It also allows the user to see chakra in a physical form, and they are then able to assign color to it, the sharingan can also detect disturbances in a person’s chakra which also allows them to see through genjutsu with absolute ease.

Toru scratched at the back of his neck, he couldn't quite get the hang of what their plan was. There seemed to be separate plans going on that were attempting to become one. Were they transforming, or were they flanking? He thought about the sleeping bag attached to the top of his backpack. That was approximately the size of a human being, it could easily be stuffed and used to replace with. None of the transformation nonsense.

He paused a few beats, looking between his teammates. He didn't fully know everyone's specializations, but he did know that he was notably fast. They didn't need to split up into teams though, they just need to work together and surround the rabbit. Kazui was already going towards the northern part of the maze.

"Kazui, I think you should block off the rabbit exits - all of them - just directly north of where the rabbit is saying. If you cover them, then we can take action in the southern area where the rabbit is." He spoke, Kazui was already going there so it made sense. He turned to the rest.

"We need to block and funnel the rabbit, put a chokehold on where it is. I don't know how fast everyone is, but I'm fast, and can stay out of sight while everyone blocks the rabbit exits, and causes commotion to flush the rabbit towards me. If I miss, we can have a few back ups..." He paused. "Maybe Ryo-san and Ayukawa-san.." Ryo could use her weapons to block too so after she was done with that she could at least act as maybe third back-up. Either way, Toru was just trying to get everyone on one plan, the rabbit clearly moved in a very free pattern and easily avoided situations without much anxiety. They really needed to get it right, and only once.

So, Toru would turn and walk through into the maze with the openings, hoping the others would follow if they were moving through with the plan. 

If he did, he would continue with the plan by moving forward and leaning up against the corner of the middle hallway. Once the other arrived, he would point out the seven rabbit holes that needed immediate blocking, he knew Ryo could do it and Kouki could do it too from what he said he could use lava. Between the two of them, seven holes should be accounted for. He hoped that Kazui would find her position to the northern wall and the opening there next to the rabbit without being seen immediately as well to defend if the rabbit moved north through the obvious opening After all it had apparently gotten in here via the rotating wall, so there was no telling which walls rotated or not. Kazui needed to be there as a sincerely important lifeline for those inside.

After the holes were plugged up, he would motion towards the hallway where the axes swung back and forth visibly, hopefully someone could stand there and block it, whoever was fastest most likely. He would stand at the end of the middle hallway facing whoever was blocking off the axe hallway, a few hand seals and he would summon water in the area in front of him making the floor slippery, but not like ice.. Water had no grip at all, unless you had chakra to stand on it, so hopefully this would slow the rabbit down when it would be flushed down the hallway and give Toru a chance to grab it, and if not and it got past him, there was still Ryo and Ayukawa to grab it, and if Kouki wanted to leave his spot he could try his hand as well since by then the rabbit would be flushed out of going into the axe hallway. They couldn't wait too long, as the water would slowly begin to freeze as time went on.

Once they were all hopefully set up - assuming all was going to plan - Toru would speak hoping to startle the rabbit, and then get everything in motion. Hell, someone could throw something at it just next to it to get it to move.

Speed Like Wind
Toru uses his lithe frame to move around quickly and his training with kenjutsu combined with his desire to be faster has brought to the point that he is at today. In top physical form, he is much faster than not only the average genin but can parallel the speeds of chuunin going at their very quickest - this is generally only true of those have not trained and honed the skills that he has. In more plain terms, Toru can match the speeds of genin who are bukijutsu and taijutsu primary specialists and easily outrun and untrained chuunin.

Lightning Reflex
Toru has impeccable control over his body and muscles, to the point that he appears as if he might be dancing around his opponents with mockery. Not only quick on his feet, he seems to have the reflexes to go along with his speed. It takes a similarly lithe and feline-like opponent to land a proper hit on the small boy. A chuunin with similar speed and reflexes - and proper training - can tire Toru out properly enough to do so, or perhaps a genin although it may take longer. Toru is an almost slimy opponent and is difficult to pin down.

Enhanced Chakra Reserves
Gifted with a larger than normal chakra pool, Toru can easily utilize a series of jutsu without tiring out as quickly as others. Stronger and higher ranked jutsu don't drain him quite as easily and anything with a continuous drain seems to last longer as well.


This is just how I'm imagining where people are, not where they actually are aside from Toru (and I'm assuming Kazui who went north) and would logically be in that area. Everyone can obviously take positions wherever they want. I also wanted to put this picture in because it will help our proctor visualize *at least* the intention and where the gang is-ish (at least Toru). The water jutsu is cast *directly* in front of where Toru is standing across from where the blue K is. Basically between Toru and blue K (Kouki if he decides to stand there). Hope this works.

[aihara ryoko]

"Gah!” Ryo would squeak with surprise as the studs proved to be sharper than she thought. Her snow pants would get a little torn up, but she’d be up on her feet before letting them shred too badly. Either way the chicken moved. Seeing it move somewhere more clear left Ryo feeling better, and she’d retreat back to her corner empty handed. No worries.

She snickers softly as she takes a moment to assess her pants, then listens and waits as everyone else gathers near. She nods, most of them good ideas. "I can’t transform, I’m really low on chakra” she admits. "Like.. really low.. Like, really really really low on chakra. Honestly, that I’m still on my feet is a credit only to my training. But, I can still block those holes real well. My art requires very little chakra.”

She takes two Kunai from Kuoki and pulls her own two from within a belt pouch. She keeps all four in one hand and pulls her axe from its place in her belt. "Thank you.” she notes with a little nod to Kouki. She makes room for anyone else moving past to get into position. She didn’t need to go far, and didn’t want to spook the rabbit before it was time. She watches the others depart, and gives Kazui and others time to head north. Once they’re getting closer into position, she drops all her weapons.  At the same time she eases herself back onto her knees, to avoid slipping on the slippery ice.

None hit the ground. Instead mid fall they each stop in place. They change direction with a subtle wave of her hand, and as she points her fingers weapons begin moving to take their place in the tunnels, moving of their own accord. She starts off at a distance, blocking the holes along the southern side (g-h border wall), and as people get into position, pushes her weapons closer (to block the F-G border wall), slowly tightening their grip around Jackie.

Her kunai wouldn’t just be sitting limp in the tunnels, either. No, they were an active sort of wall, happy to point their sharp ends inwards and hover a couple inches off the ground to keep themselves nice and dangerous to passersby. Slipping past them was no simple thing, even for such a fast bunny. They could shift and change direction rapidly, and needed to move barely an inch to turn a dangerous trip past a knife into a skewered rabbit ready for the grill!

The amount of chakra required for this jutsu depends on how many strings are being used at a time. If only half of a user’s strings are in use, then only half of the needed chakra would be used.

_❝ Well it seemed that the team had finally had more of a plan than just wondering around split up. They knew roughly where the rabbit went and Kouki was finally able to strut his stuff. In the back of his mind he was worried how the biju in him would respond to using this much of his chakra, but surely it can’t be THAT big of a deal. The monster is a walking ocean of chakra. It should be fine…maybe. The gang quickly dispersed and Kouki followed behind Ryoko who was behind Toru. As the girl utilized her floaty jutsus on the kunai he let him borrow. Kouki sled past her and straight down the hall. At the intersection of the hall, Kouki met up with Toru and saw that he laid down water for him to water walk on. Kouki gave a thumbs up to acknowledge the strategy. Focusing chakra to his feet, Kouki picked himself off the ground and silently crept up the end of the hall where there was an opening to his left. This was where the team figured the rabbit was. He was able to picture in his mind the four holes for him to plug up by realizing on his way over that the layout of the maze was grid-like in nature. The holes lined themselves parallel to each other and in rows.



The boy leaned up against the end of the wall at the end of the rabbit’s hallway to hide from view long enough to weave the handsigns he needed. As he did he soon felt the heat of his…or rather…the biju’s…chakra welling up within his stomach. He quickly turned around the corner and fired off three lava globs squarely where the three corresponding holes were. Not a second later, he leapt backwards and fired his last shot at the final hole at the end of the rabbit’s hallway. His backward jump landed right at the opening of the hall east of Toru. There he waited with the rest of the group, tightening his muscles in preparation for the little booger to be running right for the genin.

Round Two: Cooperation Portion

There planning was a solid step in the right direction, but the team wasn't quite altogether on it at first. There'd be finally something put in motion, but whether or not it utilized their resources right could only be found through execution. A hidden clock of sorts was ticking and they'd not meet the deadline of this time obstacle. However there moves would certainly not be in total vein, as much would be prepared and learned from their actions.

Kazui would activate her crimson eyes to peer at the rabbit, but this wouldn't work as expected. In front of her, above her and below her was an almost blinding light. Everything had chakra in it, the walls, the floor and even the ceiling. If she kept her eyes activated traversing the maze, she'd be able to note there were distinct chakra patterns. One for the normal floor, walls and ceiling. Another for the studded floor and finally one for the floor the chicken stood upon. The only things absent a chakra signature were the swinging axes and thankfully the rotating set of walls. So the confirmation of Jackie would be made, but tracking it on her trip around to the top entrance would be neigh impossible.

The rabbit had great hearing and the team only had an idea of it's location, as they'd begun to move into place to set their trap so would Jackie. He'd proceed up a single tile, but then as Kazui came around the corner he'd rush over one tile and up through a rabbit hole. By the time Kazui would make it to her position in the plan, it'd be times up on the hidden timer. The walls would once again rotating returning them to the position they'd first been seen. Separating Kazui from the group and her path back.

Specialized SA's:
Ayukawa: Fatigued after getting very little rest during the first round, especially during the full second half and on top of this exerting quite a bit of energy in physically handling most it's challenges. Her awareness will be heavily effected purely do to lack of sleep, expect to miss interpret the rabbit and it's reflection in an instance of fast based action.

Kazui: Fatigued & Low Reserves despite attempting to fish, it was deemed unlikely the larger ocean fish would of been caught in the manner provided. So unlike Ayukawa who lacked time in rest Kazui is specifically quite hungry and likely unfed will have stomach issues. Due to this as well as a decent use of chakra, Kazui would have a slightly drained reserve.

Toru: Injured after being unable to totally avoid the monkey's through his manner, Toru will have suffered minor bruising as well as scratches across any part of him bare. Similarly his clothes would be lightly tattered.

Ryoko: Low Reserves after making it through the first round with two followers needing her attention, Ryoko has managed to use more chakra than anyone else in the whole exam, because of this her reserves are devastated. A medium drain could be physically impacting at this point.

Kouki: Low Reserves despite giving likely the third or fourth greatest drain in jutsu, Kouki consumed a military ration pill not too long ago. Due to this and the fact he's a jinchuuriki, he's got relatively average reserves if not slightly above that of a normal shinobi his rank. Though this is still lower than his normal and likely half or two-thirds his normal reserve.

Chunin Exams Round Two "Oh...that can't be good... The sudden shifting of the walls would cut off the group from Kazui, likely leaving them in a position that wasn't exactly good for any of them. She had gotten a glimpse of just what this place was composed of, and now without her, they appeared to be at a standstill. Her expression was that of blank confusion, though she was sure that them staring off to the distance would get them no where. "Okay..so Kazui is cut off from us...we gotta find a way to move this place around again...did anyone see something...anything off with the layout or..or..somethin the rabbit did?" Sadly, her attention, while attempting to be focused on what was happening, was still shifting from one place to the next. It was hard to concentrate, and her eyes were literally drifting from one side to the next. Leaning herself against the wall, her body would try and remain standing, though her legs felt weak at the knees. "Maybe it triggered something? Or..or there's something else to this place that we're missing...anything.." Ayukawa would look to the others with a calm expression, her eyes looking from one face to the next before releasing a breath. This was going to be a long exam indeed. Kazui would gently rest her hands and head on the wall as they shifted, separating her from the rest of the group. Back and forth the girl would nod her head, hitting her forehead against the cold ice as a sigh escaped her lips, mumbling soon followed. Telling off the rabbit, the proctors, and her teammates softly beneath her breath. Once her composure was regained, Kazui would turn on her heel and look around. She knew the little guy was in the room with her.

The voice of her teammates could be heard faintly, so Kazui would approach one of the rabbit holes and try to get their attention. Peaking through the trail, she would start. "Psst” The girl would voice softly. "Psssst” Making sure they heard her.

"He’s here with me, whatever you guys have planned. Hurry the hell up.” Looking over her shoulder for a moment, her attention returned to whoever was closest to the bunny trail. "I'm going to try to scare him out, okay?” She said quietly, stabbing her kunai to block that particular trail before backing away. A few hand seals would be weaved as two identical versions of Kazui would appear beside her. From there, the clones would turn the corner and attempt to chase after the bunny towards the exits toward the left, leading back towards the central area of the maze. The real Kazui would be waiting against the wall, peeking around the corner to see if the bunny would run out or not. If he didn’t, then Kazui would assume that he knew the clones weren’t actual clones, then she would have to attempt to scare him herself.

Taking extremely light steps toward the bunny, to see how close he would allow her to get. In an instant, a surge of speed would project the girl towards him in a flash. Hopefully that would be enough to scare him off or allow the girl to catch him. However, if standing on the ice and cracking noises became prominent, then Kazui wouldn’t take any chances wandering off and lingering in the middle of the weird looking floor.

The plan didn't work, great. The rabbit dashed off and just like that, the walls twisted and closed and they had another place to exit from but Kazui was locked in. He assumed, with the rabbit. But the rest of the team was with him, he grumbled briefly to himself before turning to the three others.

Then Kazui's voice could be heard, very faintly through one of the rabbit holes that Kouki had blocked off. This entire wall was not available to the rabbit, but at least they could kind of hear. That at least solidified that the rabbit was with Kazui.

Toru nodded to himself, they didn't have many options so he turned to the team after letting a grunt of acknowledgment to Kazui release. Hopefully, she heard him.

"Most of the walls have four or fewer rabbit holes, if we had four holes to close here, then the other wall would most likely have the same amount of holes. Let's go to it." Toru as Kazui had asked, rushed towards the wall past where the wall had moved. Sure enough, there were four holes to occupy.

"Everyone take a hole, or double up." He would rush himself with light steps towards the third rabbit hole, pulling out his sword he would stab it directly into the furthest of the holes to block that area off for the rabbit this would limit the rabbit to almost two holes. Furthermore, he would perform a few seals and create more slippery water surface between the hole he was guarding and just to the next, this would without a doubt solidify the rabbit slipping and sliding on the water and even if he did not catch it, he would make sure it slid into the arms of the next person... This was all assuming it came out of the most obvious exit after Kazui chased it.

"Get ready." He whispered, and crouched a little bit his muscles tensing as he prepared to take a leap, he was fast and had good reflexes he was confident that this was going to be the one.

Toru had a great deal of knowledge when it comes to weaponry, but his love lies in swords. As a genin his skill and movement with a sword is unparalleled and akin to a prodigy. The sword is just an extension of his body and who he is. When a blade is in his hands he strikes his enemies down quickly and doesn't seem to hesitate when he does so. The form of his body is that of someone who has trained in the art for quite some time, and it is no surprise when he is able to go toe-to-toe with chuunin have never swung a sword.

In top physical form, he is much faster than not only the average genin but can parallel the speeds of chuunin going at their very quickest - this is generally only true of those have not trained and honed the skills that he has. In more plain terms, Toru can match the speeds of genin who are bukijutsu and taijutsu primary specialists and easily outrun and untrained chuunin.

Lightning Reflex
Toru has impeccable control over his body and muscles, to the point that he appears as if he might be dancing around his opponents with mockery. Not only quick on his feet, he seems to have the reflexes to go along with his speed. It takes a similarly lithe and feline-like opponent to land a proper hit on the small boy. A chuunin with similar speed and reflexes - and proper training - can tire Toru out properly enough to do so, or perhaps a genin although it may take longer. Toru is an almost slimy opponent and is difficult to pin down.

Enhanced Chakra Reserves
Gifted with a larger than normal chakra pool, Toru can easily utilize a series of jutsu without tiring out as quickly as others. Stronger and higher ranked jutsu don't drain him quite as easily and anything with a continuous drain seems to last longer as well.

Tentative Map:
- tentative, i.e I did not account for where the rest of the gang will be standing and only vaguely outlined what Kazui did but this is more so for everyone to see where Toru is standing, and which hole he blocked off with his sword (blue x over rabbit hole) and what I am presuming is the hole that Kazui blocked off. Hope this works.

[aihara ryoko]

Ryoko draws her weapons back to her hands and detaches her strings. She gives a little nod to Toru and moves to follow him around the corner. She does so, however, on her knees, sliding along the ice and through the water. She had no extra chakra for water walking, so she'd take the easy way. It wouldn't make her terribly slower than the others, and it'd keep her stable.

She slides around easily, rouding the corner and taking position at the second hole. She leaves the last for Kouki, though doesn't offer him his kunai back yet. She might need them still. Once in position she does set the kunai beside her, and frees her hand to grab any rabbit trying to make its way past her.

It wasn't the best cover, she didn't know how well Kazui was doing in there. Hopefully this would work, and if it didn't at least the rabbit should move somewhere more reasonable. She keeps herself ready, hoping it wouldn't come through her hole, but preparing to grab it with all her speed and might if it does. She was definitely one of the weaker links when it came to actually using her physical prowess. She was barely better than any other ninjutsu specialist.

_❝ Kouki used all that lava for nothing as it appeared the rabbit heard the group from a mile away. It was already clear out of the hallway well before the genin used his lava globs. At least those holes would be sealed permanently. Kouki followed the lead of Toru and Ryoko as they set up themselves around the next line of holes down the hallway. The boy scratched his head as he realized everything was pretty much covered by the other two on his team. The weight on his back suddenly gave him an idea. The boy took his backpack off and moved things around in there to create enough space for one whole rabbit. He widened his stance and waited patiently with his muscles tensed. He wanted to be prepared for the little booger as it sprints down the hall. For a moment his attention focused on the one team member that didn’t quite make it over here yet. He knew Ayukawa was tired but did not realize she might be down for the count already. Even so, with the other four consistently forming up blocking points, this rabbit was bound to be captured sooner rather than later.

Fallen Blades' Eighth Semiannual Chuunin Exams!

Round Two: Cooperation Portion

Kazui's clones and Toru's slippery water would both fail, at least from Kazui's position. The clones would disperse immediately, the spot their feet had been momentarily now had about a half a foots worth of ice spears standing up. Similarly when Toru placed down his slippery water, there'd be some which traversed past the rabbit holes. Spears rising out of Toru's view and from the other side of the wall blocking the opening he would be covering. Despite this set back, it'd matter little as the rabbits paths out had been relatively removed.

Even if it attempted the axe path, it'd simply head to a different person. There were more people one way, but a dead end the other way. The animals movements were dictated by the moment, so coming from the bottom right entrance to it's room. The rabbit would choose to head to the top left, but as the kunoichi would attempt to flash step at the rabbit. Once again the chakra directed to project the girl would be detrimental. The ice which hadn't cracked would know shattered taking out a whole quarter of the rooms floor. Dunking the kunoichi into possibly the coldest water she'd have felt.

The floor shattering at the girl coming at it the rabbit would burst out of it's safe room, ice spears blocking the path closest and more further down blocking the furthest path. It'd shoot through the gap between the two and exit right into the Iwagakure shinobi. It'd have the agility to dodge her, but she'd easily dictate it's next path. Right lead into slippery water and left lead to another shinobi and the ever threatening chicken. A momentary scuffle where the group would likely be dog piling or body blocking the animal.

Upon being caught the walls would all lower other than the rotating ones, as the axes would slow to a stop. Creating an easy path to their teammate in the ice pool, as well as the exit with the rabbit.

Specialized SA's:
Ayukawa: Fatigued after getting very little rest during the first round, especially during the full second half and on top of this exerting quite a bit of energy in physically handling most it's challenges. Her awareness will be heavily effected purely do to lack of sleep, expect to miss interpret the rabbit and it's reflection in an instance of fast based action.

Kazui: Fatigued & Low Reserves despite attempting to fish, it was deemed unlikely the larger ocean fish would of been caught in the manner provided. So unlike Ayukawa who lacked time in rest Kazui is specifically quite hungry and likely unfed will have stomach issues. Due to this as well as a decent use of chakra, Kazui would have a slightly drained reserve.

Toru: Injured after being unable to totally avoid the monkey's through his manner, Toru will have suffered minor bruising as well as scratches across any part of him bare. Similarly his clothes would be lightly tattered.

Ryoko: Low Reserves after making it through the first round with two followers needing her attention, Ryoko has managed to use more chakra than anyone else in the whole exam, because of this her reserves are devastated. A medium drain could be physically impacting at this point.

Kouki: Low Reserves despite giving likely the third or fourth greatest drain in jutsu, Kouki consumed a military ration pill not too long ago. Due to this and the fact he's a jinchuuriki, he's got relatively average reserves if not slightly above that of a normal shinobi his rank. Though this is still lower than his normal and likely half or two-thirds his normal reserve.

• No Unsanctioned Equipment, if caught you'll be disqualified.
• No Unwarranted Travel, restrictions will be made clear, if caught you'll be disqualified.

• No Outside Assistance, if you befall an injury, sickness or worst you must rely upon yourself and team.
• Quitting is Allowed, but you'll be disqualified from further performing in this exam.

• No casting jutsu DIRECTLY upon the rabbit, if caught you'll be disqualified and your team will be considered last.
• No killing each other, if you're caught killing each other in this portion you'll not only be disqualified, BUT based on your leaders opinion and the Yuki Lady's advice, you can be put on trial for war crimes and punished up to the maximum charge of murder.
• Your equipment counts as you, so those of you with dogs, if your dog kills the rabbit you'll be equally charged with killing it and thus disqualified.

Chunin Exams Round Two "Oh crap.... With a muffled response from the other side of the wall, Kazui would indicate that the rabbit was indeed in the room with her, though everyone seemed to be quickly attempting to block off any chance of escape for the creature from that very space itself. It was certainly the best move, though Ayukawa had no techniques to aid in this aside from her physical form. This posed as a bit of a problem, considering she was still tired and attempting to move much was a bit of a strain. Still, in some faint hope that she could at least help, the girl would position herself as some backup in covering any possible exits that were left open. Though Kouki and Toru appeared to have such issues taken care. Yet in the end, as it appeared that movement echoed the call to action, the sound of shattering ice would prompt many to look over to see someone had fallen in, their target now quickly dashing past as it had indeed found a new means to getting out after all. With the others likely giving chase, Ayukawa would go to try and help the kunochi who had indeed fallen in, though barely able to pull them out without their own support in the process. If this was where she was relegate for the moment, the Sunagakure nin would just have to deal. Though she was still trying her best to keep up with the antlered beast as it seemed to move in either the path left or right of them. "Anyone catch where it went? I swear I thought it went left...or maybe it was to the right?" Ayukawa hated being this useless....she wanted to give chase...it was in her blood screaming for her to hunt... Though an idea did come to mind as she considered another possible means to lure it out. "What if we used...umm...smoke bombs?" One moment Kazui found herself giving chase to the little bunny, the next she was submerged under water for what felt like an eternity. Everything was moving in slow motion as the last thing she remembered seeing before shutting her eyes tightly was her hand reaching out for anything that could prevent her from falling in. Unfortunately, there was nothing, and so there she was in the middle of a freezing pond of water, and the only thing running through her mind was "what the hell?”

Before she realized it, her head was back above water, gasping for air as her long black hair drooped over her eyes. Shaking the water from her hair, the girl would quickly make her way to solid ground, pushing herself up before crawling even further away from the water. Her body was trembling, shaking uncontrollably as she removed her gloves, jacket, winter pants, and her boots which were all drenched in freezing cold water. All that remained was the red uniform and sandals given to her by the proctors. A sense of anger began to grow in the girl’s mind as she watched her hands clenched tightly into fist, she soon realized that her anger wasn’t the cause of her body tensing, but yet it was her body trying to retain heat as best as it possibly could. Hopefully they caught the damn thing, or else she would freeze to death.

"Come on.” She mumbled to herself as she sat in the corner, her arms wrapped tightly around her knees as she prayed with all her heart that her teammates had finished the deed. Her strength and energy were depleting rapidly, yet she still had some fight in her. Forcing herself to her hands and knees, she would then bring herself to her feet and started to look for an exit, too weak to make her own, she would rely on her team to retrieve her. The first person to enter would be met with a hug and Kazui’s body weight resting on them. Not because she missed them, but because she was freezing and was losing every ounce of strength by the second. Her teeth were chattering and her body trembled as she simply remained silent, her head hung low as water continued to drip from her hair.

Chaos seemed to reign supreme as a crash sounded, and soon after the rabbit erupted from Ryo's protected hole. Too fast he would try to make a run around before she could grab it, Toru stepped forward, the rabbit slipping and sliding in a panic. Toru didn't wait, he used his reflexes to act and threw himself towards the rabbit to lead its path straight into Kouki's open backpack. The scuffle and ultimate dog pile was inevitable, but Toru was shoving it into the backpack in all of the chaos and zipping it as quickly as possible if Kouki did not do so before him. Once that was all said and done it took a few beats for him to realize that the walls had fallen and commotion had melted away, the axes were no longer moving, only the rotating walls remained somewhat standing. He sat there momentarily, trying to regain his senses and then stood.

"Shit." He swore, realizing that Kazui - now that he could see her - was quite wet and no doubt quite cold. Toru made sure that the rabbit was safe and sound and in their grasp before going to check on Kazui, offering her his much dryer winter coat to wear - even if it was a little torn up - to replace her body heat. It was no doubt, rather warm on the inside. Once she took it - or not - he would look around the group.

"Let's get out of here," He looked at Ayukawa and shook his head. "We got it. And I think it's about time you got some sleep." He remarked, the girl was really tired that was clear. Either way, he looked swiftly towards the exit and once the whole group was collected and ready to head out, they would be on the way. It was a relief they were done, but he could only wonder what horrors lied ahead...

He hoped they would get some rest though because it was obvious that they needed it.

"NO!" Ryo squeaks as the tunnel before her is chosen. Of course it was, she was, perhaps, the least suited to actually catch it. Doesn't mean she won't try!

She manages a good clap trying to close her hands on it, and quickly sets into motion chasing it. At least she could funnel it, keeping close to the wall to push it up towards the walls, slipping and sliding as she desperately attempts to get hands on the adorable little fuzzball.

"Stop it! No, stop! HEY! GET BACK HERE!!" She's near panic, like a person juggling a priceless vase in the moments before it finally slips their grasp. Thank goodness she had team mates. Once the thing's finally in hand she can't help but collapse flat on her back and break into a loud and joyous fit of laughter. Oooh, it's over!



"ooh it's over!" she repeats her thought, mostly to herself. "that was insane.. stupid rabbit.. Good Job, us!"

She just lies there for a moment, as close to the edge as the other girl's on her makeshift squad. Well, maybe not quite as close, at least she was dryer than Kazui. Laying in a puddle of water didn't help, but her winter coat and pants would keep her dry. After a few moments she slows her laughter and eventually it dies out into a last few giggles.

While she calms herself she points a hand up, levitating a pair of kunai from the ground beside her. She guides them over in Kouki's direction, where they linger mid-air until he takes them back. She was no thief.

Once he'd taken his knives back she pushes herself up onto her feet carefully, now feeling every bit of the exhaustion she's been fighting to ignore. She didn't have much left in her, but she had a little. Enough, at least, to keep her upright. She beams a smile at her various team mates, though it slowly fades..

'bawk bawk bawk' comes a familiar sound, and with the walls lowering she sweeps her gaze over to her chicken. Free and roaming wild on the ice.. ut oh. The chicken, brave bird it was, pecks uselessly at the ice, like it might find a juicy grub somehow hidden within. That was unlikely, but it was determined.

"Uhh..." Ryo just stares at it for a moment, fresh memories coming back to the surface. She takes a few tentative steps in the chicken's direction, then breaks into an all out sprint after it! Within three steps she's on her stomach, sliding uselessly along the ice towards the chicken. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the chicken easily scoots aside and avoids her. Ryo whines. Her work was never done.

The others make their way to the exit, likely to the sound and site of Ryo slipping and sliding in a second failed effort to regain her fowl friend. Still, this wasn't a part of their mission, and the odd bits of laughter escaping each time she fails to catch the chicken at least makes the genin sound amused. (also fin. ^ - ^)
