[Yoshioka Kouki]

_❝ It was like something out of a comedy routine the way the whole, including the rabbit, were so frantic in their actions. Perhaps it was through sheer force of will, but Toru and Ryoko were able to funnel the rabbit’s direction right towards Kouki’s direction. Where else did it have to go? Eyes widening, Kouki took a deep breath and let his body drop right in front of the rabbit with his backpack wide open. On his knees he made a swooping motions upwards with the backpack in an attempt to scoop up the little booger. Success! The rabbit hurriedly scraped it’s paws on the ice for traction to get away but the backpack was too quick it seemed. A twinkle glimmered in Kouki’s eyes as he felt the bag get a little bit heavier…almost as if a rabbit found its way in. He closed the bag the moment he knew the rabbit was in and Toru also swooped in to help keep it shut for a moment. Struggle or not, Kouki would have an iron grip on the bag’s opening. It may have been fast, but it’s still just a rabbit. "Heh heh…gotcha ya lil’ bastard!” There was no muscling out of this one.



The walls disappeared into the ground to reveal Ayukawa doing her best to stand and stay awake as well as poor Kazui who was drenched in water. Kouki lived in Yuki no Kuni long enough to know that she needed to dry off fast. Luckily Toru offered his jacket. At the same time, Ryoko floated over the kunai Kouki let her borrow. He gave her a thumb’s up. "Thanks Ryoko!” Kouki would rejoin with the rest of the group, captured bunny in hand. His face beaming as he knew that he was ultimately the one to catch the rabbit. He didn’t do it alone by any means, but damn did it feel good to be the one to do it. The Yuki genin gestured to the bag in front of Kazui and Ayukawa in a victoriously smug manner to hint that the bunny was in the backpack. "Hell yeah let’s get out of here guys.” Kouki would confidently lead the parade of genin out of the room when they all were ready.
